Relevance: normal physical education and upbringing also contributes to the normal development of such qualities as memory, attention, high levels of stability, perception, observation, and mental performance. In physical education classes, the student learns rational and safe methods of life activity, rational actions, rules of personal and public hygiene, hardening, etc., which positively affects mental development, the process of mental education, and intelligence. The modern Russian school does not provide all the necessary conditions that would allow it to become a place for the formation of the health of schoolchildren. It is necessary to continue physical education after school, to form among children and adolescents the skills and abilities of a healthy lifestyle, a conscious and responsible attitude to the preservation and promotion of health. The main task is to develop and consolidate a conscious attitude to health, personal and public safety among children and adolescents for the entire life cycle. The reasons for the increased attention to the health of students are the following: insufficient motor activity, low level of knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of motor activity, as well as insufficient awareness of the formation of a healthy lifestyle of adolescents.

Harmonious development of personality provides adequate motor activity and cultural and aesthetic activities. Students of pedagogical specialties are not able to fully organize their motor activity. This is due to a fairly large mental load, low motivation to engage in physical education, non- adherence to a healthy lifestyle and insufficient efficiency of modern organization of physical education of students. One of the most common reasons is the deterioration of the diet, reduced efficiency of traditional preventive measures, reduced physical activity due to the rapid development of information and communication technologies.

This study investigates the relationship between the level of foreign language anxiety experienced by Saudi female English learners at a Saudi university and the level of their motivation in learning English as a foreign language. The participants were 40 female second-year university students. The instruments the researchers used to gather the data were two questionnaires: Horwitz, Horwitz, and Cope’s (1986) Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and Gardner’s (2006) Attitude/Motivation Test Battery (AMTB). The data were analyzed by calculating the percentages of students’ responses to each item. The findings revealed that Saudi female English learners at King Saud University experienced high levels of foreign language anxiety. The findings also revealed that the learners were highly motivated to learn English. This demonstrates that a high level of motivation to learn English does not prevent the occurrence of a significant level of anxiety. That is, motivation can control foreign language anxiety and assist anxious learners in their determination to learn English.

The article focuses on the relevance of the study of future preschool teachers’ motivation for learning foreign languages, which is as follows: the ability to formally and informally communicate with foreign colleagues at conferences, seminars, symposia for discussing current issues of preschool education, the search for new text, graphic, audio and video information contained in foreign language materials for professional purposes, the creation of a foreign language educational environment in a preschool institution in order to teach children the elements of a foreign language. A definitive analysis of the concept of “motive” in domestic and foreign scientific sources is carried out. Based on the definition of motives for learning a foreign language by second-year students – future preschool teachers (according to the method of O.Yatsyshin), as well as on the observation of their activities in the process of learning English and during confidential conversations with them, the students’ motives for learning English as a foreign language are analyzed. Psychological and pedagogical conditions of the formation of future preschool teachers’ motives for learning English as a foreign language are presented: organization of cross-cultural communicative activity of students, creation of situations of guaranteed success during the learning process, creation of a professionally oriented educational environment. It is emphasized that the abovementioned conditions should be both interconnected and interdependent; they should also be implemented in the educational process of a higher education institution not gradually, but simultaneously and systematically, in order to receive the sustainable positive motives of future preschool teachers for learning a foreign language.

The article is devoted to the modernization of educational process of students in physical education lessons. Introduction of elements of sports and sports and health tourism in physical culture lessons can increase the interest and activity of students. The author gives vivid examples proving it. Experience has shown that sports and health tourism lessons can be conducted both in gyms and in the suburban area. However, the most effective, emotionally and enthusiastically they are held out of town. Tourist activities can be successfully implemented in the form of a tourist rally, which may engage a large number of untrained newcomers (more than 500 people), as well as in the form of individual lessons of one academic group (15-20 people). Due to the fact that sports tourism is multifaceted, the knowledge acquired in tourism lessons may be necessary for student, and for any competent cultured person. In addition to the development of physical abilities, sports tourism and orienteering as a tourism element promote the knowledge of the natural environment, environmental education, expansion of the general perspective, native land study, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and, if necessary, help to survive in any extreme situations. All kinds of education in tourism are implemented comprehensively in vivo, without focusing of tourists’ attention on the educational problems of sports tourism. In celebration of the 120th anniversary of the sports tourism in Russia and at the initiative of S. Mironov, the scientific-practical conference with the participation of the tourist public and youth has been held. It has been aimed to identify ways of revival of mass sports tourism.
