The results of the study and the data of Ukrainian and foreign scientists showed that children are passively involved in physical activity. School lessons of physical culture lose their priority among the preferences of students. The interests of younger students in physical education contradict with the curriculum. Physical development has a declarative and situational nature, since only about 20% of children engage in motor activity in the morning. In view of this, the author developed a method of forming a sustainable interest in physical education and sports during the extracurricular institution, which has been introduced from 2017 to the present at the University of Gifted Child (UGC), which operates at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine). Here, they have created a special educational, development and leisure environment of health-conscious content. The study confirmed the hypothesis that the effectiveness of this process is provided by a number of conditions: students have knowledge of physical culture and sports, health, well-known fellow countrymen; practical activity of children; valuable attitude of younger students to physical education, motivation for healthy lifestyle, emotional satisfaction from exercise, physical activity, sports, active rest; highly professional teaching staff who are well-known athletes, creative students; innovative methods and forms of learning, etc. It is proved that if significant attention is paid to the cognitive and value components, then it is possible to generate more intense interest in physical culture in children

The article presents the attitude of parents to the observance of the components of a healthy lifestyle for their child. An important condition for a positive attitude of parents to physical education is an understanding of the impact of physical exercise on the health of children. According to the overwhelming majority of parents (77,27 %), physical education has a positive effect on the health of children, 9,09 % of respondents believe that physical exercise has a positive effect on the child's body, 13,64 % of respondents could not answer this question. The answers to the following questions are analyzed: 1. Do physical culture lessons influence the health of your child?; 2. Can you say that you are leading a healthy lifestyle?; 3. What measures should parents take to prevent a teenager's addiction to bad habits?; 4. Does your child adhere to the components of a healthy lifestyle?; 5. What place do you give to physical culture and sports in your leisure time? The attitude of parents to physical education and sports is generally positive. The answers to specific questions depend on the gender, age and education of the parents. The respondents' attitude to the presence of bad habits in their child is unambiguously negative. According to parents, an effective measure to prevent a teenager's addiction to harmful substances is playing sports. According to gender characteristics, respondents are more likely to lead a healthy lifestyle than not. This fact is a good basis for schoolchildren to imitate a positive habit.

The article is devoted to the modernization of educational process of students in physical education lessons. Introduction of elements of sports and sports and health tourism in physical culture lessons can increase the interest and activity of students. The author gives vivid examples proving it. Experience has shown that sports and health tourism lessons can be conducted both in gyms and in the suburban area. However, the most effective, emotionally and enthusiastically they are held out of town. Tourist activities can be successfully implemented in the form of a tourist rally, which may engage a large number of untrained newcomers (more than 500 people), as well as in the form of individual lessons of one academic group (15-20 people). Due to the fact that sports tourism is multifaceted, the knowledge acquired in tourism lessons may be necessary for student, and for any competent cultured person. In addition to the development of physical abilities, sports tourism and orienteering as a tourism element promote the knowledge of the natural environment, environmental education, expansion of the general perspective, native land study, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and, if necessary, help to survive in any extreme situations. All kinds of education in tourism are implemented comprehensively in vivo, without focusing of tourists’ attention on the educational problems of sports tourism. In celebration of the 120th anniversary of the sports tourism in Russia and at the initiative of S. Mironov, the scientific-practical conference with the participation of the tourist public and youth has been held. It has been aimed to identify ways of revival of mass sports tourism.

Relevance. In the physical education of students during the formation of individual physical culture is relevant to the issue of self-assessment of physical development, the study of motivation to engage in various types of physical activity among students. The purpose of the work is to study the self-assessment of physical development and motivation in physical education among student youth in the process of formation of individual physical culture. Methods: analysis and generalization of data of scientific and methodical literature and sources of the Internet; sociological methods; psychological and diagnostic methods; pedagogical methods; methods of statistical data processing. Experimental studies were conducted at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The study involved students of 1-3 grades, 105 people (58 boys and 47 girls). Results. In the course of the research, priorities were established in the motives and interests of student youth during physical education classes. The level of physical conditions of students according to the results of motor tests is determined. The individual profile of the physical «I» of the individual is determined with the help of the test-questionnaire EM Bochenkova «Self-description of physical development», which is a modified version of the known method of A.M. Parishioners. It is established that at a low level of «self-esteem» students generally rate «coordination of movements», «endurance», «flexibility». With a low self-esteem of «sports abilities» and «physical activity», the studied students rate the «appearance» and consider themselves quite attractive. In general, the level of self-esteem on some scales increases with age («global physical self», «strength», «endurance»). In order to form an individual culture of students’ health, it is necessary for the participants of the educational space to master the standards of self-preserving behavior and the culture of a healthy lifestyle to increase healthy activity. It is shown that students with a high level of physical fitness have higher scores on all indicators of the scale and they have a higher overall level of self-esteem. At the same time, students with a low level of physical fitness have an inflated self-esteem in relation to "appearance".
