This study discusses and examines the strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and threats to formulate a strategy and program development in the Art Tourism Village of Kasongan bantul Yogyakarta. This study used quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collected by observation, in-depth interviews, documentation and dissemination of questionnaires to 53 respondents consisting of bureaucrats, tourism businesses and community leaders, then analyzed by SWOT method. Based on the SWOT analysis obtained alternative strategies that can be applied is create quality art-tourism product. Tourism development policy must have the support from the private sector and the public. Community support depends on the condition variable resources of tourism areas, namely diversity, uniqueness, potential for conservation, economic potential, and market potential. The pulp of the açaí fruit is a staple food for a large part of the population of Pará. Nonetheless, despite the significance of açaí product for the regional economy, there is a gap in the literature on the market potential for processing this fruit. Thus, the objective of this study was to identify the challenges and opportunities of açaí beaters in the development of the activity in the municipality of São Miguel do Guamá, state of Pará, Brazil. This investigation is characterized as applied research, composed of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection was based on interviews with açaí beaters and with linked production chains: middlemen, waste loaders, financial support institutions, and support institutions. The results were submitted to SWOT analysis to determine the risk factors of the internal-external matrix. As an internal risk factor, it was observed the difficulty to maintain income during the harvest period, given the decrease in the availability of raw materials and the drop in the price of the product. Externally, the risk is due to the lack of strengthening of collective organizations. It was also observed that there is a great distance between the açaí beaters and the public actors of the support institutions. The SWOT analysis was effective in identifying the activity that faces severe threats and weaknesses, internally and externally, which serves as a warning to the municipality, institutions, and actors regarding the greater attention needed to its production chain, which is evidenced by the lack of investments in this activity.

PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk or PTKS is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) located in the city of Cilegon, Banten Province. As a strategic industry, This company is engaged in manufacturing the steel industry. PTKS conducts corporate social responsibility (CSR) aimed at empowering the surrounding community through the Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL). By using the Stakeholder Theory and Relationship Management Theory, it shows that stakeholders must be considered by the company. Assuming that the company deals with many groups that affect the company's goals. It is emphasized the nature of a relationship in the process, and the output for the company and its stakeholders. Relational management theory is useful to explain how CSR and public relations can balance the interests of the organization with the public, so as to create a harmonious relationship between the company and the surrounding community. The research used qualitative approaches and interpretative analysis. The implementation of CSR and empowerment of the community carried out by PTKS through PKBL is relatively running in accordance with the provisions contained in the Decree of the Minister of SOEs No.236 of 2003. CSR activities continue to be carried out mainly in the micro and small business sector. Both soft loans (Partnership) and Community Development run by PKBL PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk has significant impact for growing their business.

This research aimed to: 1) Knowing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for agribusiness development of soybean commodity in Sigi Regency; 2) Knowing the right alternative strategy formula for the development of soybean commodity agribusiness in Sigi Regency; 3) Knowing the priority strategy that should be chosen for the agribusiness development of commodity soybean in Sigi Regency. This research purposively conducted in Sigi Regency from January to March 2017, and 6 respondents were chosen. SWOT analysis used to find alternative strategy, and QSPM analysis used to find priority strategy. The availability and productivity of the land is among the main strenghts, and the quality and quantity of human resources is among the main weaknesses.The main opportunity is the price of soybean commodity in the market, while imports of soybeans by the government is the main threats. The alternative and priority strategy that could be undertaken by the governmenr are : 1) Participatory motivation and farmers empowerment program; 2) Strengthening local soybean development policy that is pro-farmer; 3) Soybean cultivation development program through area expansion and land mapping; 4) Regional Agricultural Partnership; 5) Development of soybean processing industry.

This research is concerned with cross-border tourism in Asam Jokowi, Desa Tulakadi. It aims to determine the potential of tourism based on supporting and inhibiting factors of rural tourism development in Asam Jokowi and analyzing the strategy of Community Based Tourism in Desa Tulakadi. The research was conducted in Desa Tulakadi. This study uses qualitative method which the data obtained through depth interviews with five key informants. Futhermore, the data were analyzed using IFAS EFAS analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of this study indicate that Desa Tulakadi has a potential tourist attraction. Based from IFAS EFAS analysis, Asam Jokowi Desa Tulakadi classified in Quadrant I (Agresive Growth) which means the strategies needed to maintain and improve the quality of tourism potential attractions. The role and cooperation of the community, media, academics, and government are necessary to develop the tourism potential of Asam Jokowi in Desa Tulakadi as a tourist destination in the cross-border region. Penelitian ini ingin melihat lebih jauh bagaimana perpustakaan daerah dapat meningkatkan pelayanannya terhadap masyarakat melalui pengembangan rencana strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan; (2) mengidentifikasi rumusan strategi berbasis analisis SWOT bagi perencanaan strategis jangka pendek dan jangka panjang Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan; dan (3) menganalisis proses strategi Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan. Model dan metode peneltian ini bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan bersifat induktif, mengacu pada Miles & Huberman model. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan lingkungan eksternal dilakukan dengan cara memberi kesempatan kepada masyarakat untuk mengikuti pendidikan dan pelatihan tentang perpustakaan, meningkatkan jumlah pengguna, dan menjadikan perpustakaan sebagai pusat informasi bagi masyarakat. Sedangkan pengembangan lingkungan internal dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan pelayanan perpustakaan, optimalisasi perawatan koleksi, dan memberikan formasi yang sesuai pada SDM yang ada. Adapun strategi intensif dapat dilakukan melalui penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar, dan pengembangan produk, sementara strategi alternatif dapat dilakukan dengan menambah tenaga pustakawan perpustakaan. This research would like to see further how regional libraries can improve their services to the public through the development of strategic plans. This study aims to: (1) know the internal and external environmental conditions of South Tangerang City Regional Library; (2) identify the strategy formulation based on SWOT analysis for short and long term strategic planning of South Tangerang City Regional Library; and (3) analyzing the strategy process of South Tangerang City Regional Library. Model and method of this research is descriptivequalitative. The data analysis method used is inductive, referring to Miles & Huberman model. Data collection techniques used were participative observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the development of the external environment is pursued by providing opportunities for the community to follow education and training about the library, increasing the number of users, and make the library as the information center for the community. While the development of the internal environment is pursued by improving library services, optimization of collection maintenance, and provide appropriate formation on existing human resources. The intensive strategy can be done through market penetration, market development, and product development, while alternative strategies can be done by adding librarians.

The issue of the environment is becoming more complex. Regarding industry development, the impact of pollution, waste, infrastructure, and social pollution is getting worse. Especially in Riau Province, known for its disastrous peatland fires in recent years. This paper aims to identify the community development to address the environmental crisis in forest and land fires implemented in Kampung Jawa, Riau Province. This study utilized participatory observation and in-depth interviews with the local community. Secondary data were collected in the form of information on programs from the newspaper clippings and reports. The research discovered that local communities initiated the community development program to change the image of peatlands previously known as the source of haze disaster, which also has economic potential. The community development conducted by the local communities consisted of (i) Masyarakat Peduli Api (MPA)—a community volunteering to deal with disasters and suppress forest fires, (ii) pineapple farm and pineapple product processing, and (iii) peat Arboretum. This study also disclosed that community development carried out proactive dialogue and engagement with stakeholders, including farmers’ communities, local communities, NGOs, and local government.

Abstract The purpose of this study were (1) to determine the perception of tourists on the readiness of halal tourism in East Lombok (2) to analysis a halal tourism development in East Lombok regency with SWOT analysis. Research uses descriptive qualitative method. According Sugiyono (2012) descriptive research is research that seeks describe and interpret data with objective measurements of the phenomenon. In addition, qualitative approach is used because researchers put the theory as the main starting point on the curiosity of researchers to measure the level of preparedness in developing halal tourism in East Lombok. Research aims to describe the potential of halal tourism destinations in East Lombok regency, analysis readiness through perception travel destination travelers in developing halal East Lombok, and clicking the analysis to development of halal tourism. The collection of data, in-depth interviews tourists. results of this study, East Lombok is quite optimal launched halal tourism in its tourism product and still need some improvement ata u strategy to attract tourists.

Abstract. Cutlip and Gleen Broom who defined problems, planning, initiating and communicating, and evaluating activities. The literature review used in the coverage of this work is public relations, public relations campaigns, green campaigns, "Ngopi tapi Go Green". In addition, this paper will also use the SWOT analysis theory proposed by Philip Kotler. This work uses several data analysis techniques, in-depth interviews and collects secondary and primary data. The work shows that the Public Relations Campaign “Ngopi tapi Go Green” at RBoJ Coffee has followed the stages in the Public Relations Process. The stages of the activity process are used to inform, inspire, and educate the public, namely the pre-production, production and post-production processes. The work shows that it has succeeded in informing, inspiring, and educating the public with the support of analysis of facts and data that have been presented. Abstrak. Penciptaan karya yang berjudul Kampanye Public Relations “Ngopi tapi Go Green” di RBoJ Coffee” memiliki tujuan untuk menginformasi, menginspirasi, serta mengedukasi masyarakat melalui Kampanye “Ngopi tapi Go Green” dengan menggali melalui teori proses Public Relations yang dikemukakan oleh Allan Center, Scott Cutlip, dan Gleen Broom yang dimulai dari mendefinisikan masalah, perencanaan, bertindak dan berkomunikasi, serta evaluasi kegiatan. Tinjauan literatur yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya ini yaitu public relations, kampanye public relations, kampanye go green, “Ngopi tapi Go Green”. Selain itu, karya ini juga akan menggunakan teori analisis SWOT yang dikemukakan oleh Philip Kotler. Karya ini menggunakan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data, meliputi wawancara mendalam serta mengumpulkan data sekunder dan primer. Hasil karya menunjukan bahwa Kampanye Public Relations “Ngopi tapi Go Green” di RBoJ Coffee telah mengikuti tahapan dalam Proses Public Relations. Tahapan proses kegiatan yang digunakan untuk membentuk menginformasi, menginspirasi, serta mengedukasi masyarakat, yaitu proses pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Hasil karya menunjukkan telah berhasil menginformasi, menginspirasi, serta mengedukasi masyarakat dengan didukungnya analisis fakta dan data-data yang telah dipaparkan.

For decades the authoritarian secularist policies of the Turkish state, by imposing a headscarf ban at universities and in the civil service, excluded practising Muslim women from the public sphere until the reforms following 2010. However, Muslim women had continued to seek ways to increase their knowledge and improve their intellectual levels, not only as individuals, but also by establishing civil associations. As a result, a group of intellectual women has emerged who are not only educated in political, social, and economic issues, but who are also determined to attain their socio-economic and political rights. Those new actors in the Turkish public sphere are, however, concerned with being labeled as either “feminist,” “fundamentalist” or “Islamist.” This article therefore analyzes the distance between the self-identifications of intellectual Muslim women and certain classifications imposed on them. Semi-structured in-depth interviews with thirteen Turkish intellectual Muslim women were carried out which reveal that they reject and critique overly facile labels due to their negative connotations while offering more complex insights into their perspectives on Muslim women, authority, and identity.

Pharmaceuticals agglomerations consistently use their brand image and versatile product portfolios to consolidate their position in the financial sector, which is evident in their continuous profit making and expansion in market share. This paper explores the short-term and long-term investment attractiveness through ‘consumer centric decision’ approach in two selected pharmaceutical companies, Renata Limited and Orion Pharma Limited, of Bangladesh over the last three years’ period. This research adopts a systematic approach which primarily addresses the various concerns of investors to illustrate the decision-making process of the existing and future investors. Using primarily domestic transaction data, this study explores how the leading pharmaceuticals companies of Bangladesh effectively use the wide array of drug portfolios mix with appropriate branding techniques to increase their financial profit and market share simultaneously. Both SWOT analysis and Porters Five Forces Model explore the business analysis of Renata Limited in compare to Orion Pharma Limited that provides a conclusion regarding investors’ decision to invest in Renata Limited. Considering the financial analysis, Renata’s financial liquidity is not very satisfactory and could have been improved further if management is prudent on financial strategy settings. Findings of the business analysis indicate that Renata Limited would be a good investment choice for existing and prospective shareholders based on its opportunities for long term and short term growth and further expansion in developing the market. The results suggest that even lower liquidity coupled with higher interest borrowings can be balanced by posing positive picture to the public shareholders by returning the positive dividend to them.
