Russian science remains interested in the formation of the intercultural competence of students. Intensive migration processes taking place in the world lead to the social interaction of representatives of different communities and nations. The relevance of this study lies in the fact that it considers the professional intercultural competence as a necessary condition of acculturation processes among foreign students in polyethnic educational environment of the university. The need to increase competitiveness of Russian higher education institutions in the area of international educational services necessitates creation of appropriate conditions in Russian educational institutions for the full development of a personality of a foreign student as a professional in a particular field of activity in accordance with the social order between the states. The article presents the results of studying the dynamics of formation of future teachers’ professional intercultural competence among foreign students living in Russia from 0 to 5 years. The authors carried out diagnostics of the general level of tolerance among the interviewed students, types of ethnic identity, and positive ethnic identity. The attitudes towards acculturation strategies were also investigated. The study based on the results of a written survey revealed the degree of formation of this competence among the respondents.

Abstract This study used interviews to explore how 10 Taiwanese college students' intercultural competence was developed after participating in an intercultural extracurricular activity designed with a purpose to facilitate foreign students’ study in Taiwan and to promote meaningful home-foreign student contacts. In-depth information and narratives from the interviews were collected as evidence of intercultural competence development. The results showed all the interviewees appreciated the experience and felt it to have been of value to them in terms of building international friendships, heightening their intercultural awareness and the benefits of intercultural competence, and having more appreciation and better understanding of Taiwanese culture. Students also realized that a lack of understanding of Taiwanese culture could exacerbate communication difficulties. Students thus became aware of the importance of describing Taiwanese cultural practices in English and realized that more language practice was necessary for smoother communication. Suggestions for both extracurricular activities and language programs improvement in the future were also provided in the conclusion.

Purpose of the study: The topicality of the research is determined by the social order for a healthy personality, awareness of education possibilities to improve the adaptative potential, competitiveness, and activity. Methodology: The assessment of the health state was based on the medical examination results in the clinic of Belgorod National Research University. Somatometric, somatoscopic and physiometric methods were used to define the functional state of the students’ organism. Results: The health of a growing person starts with the health of his family and the teacher. The quality of the pedagogical strategy and the tactics of healthy generation education are defined by the teacher’s ability to design a personal model of safe behavior and to assess his own health adaptive risks and students too. Adaptative potential assessment of a future teacher as an integral health indicator at the primary stage of his professional training will determine the measures to prevent misadaptation and design strategies for personal safe behavior. Applications of this study: This research can be used for the universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality of this study: In this research, the model of the Adaptive Potential Assessment of Future Teachers at the First Stage of their Professional Training is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

In the article reveals the content of the structural and functional model of professional development of future teachers of labor training and technology. To visualize the specific goals, ways and results of professional development of future teachers of labor training and technology in the process of independent work, a modeling method was used, which is based on the principle of analogy and provides the opportunity to study a real object not directly but through consideration an object similar to it, that is, its model. The method of experimental research «pedagogical modeling» is revealed as the initial stage of process design, which involves creating conditions to achieve the goal, determining the stages and components of this process, developing strategies, forms, methods, tools, technologies of professional development and more. The structural-functional model is based primarily on the social order based on the expected results of the future teacher of labor training and technology for continuous professional development by means of independent work throughout life. Given the specifics of the process of professional development of future teachers of labor education and technology in the process of independent work, in our opinion, we must take into account the model of future professional activity, the structural elements of which we include taking into account the social order theoretical and methodological block (purpose, conceptual principles, methodological approaches, principles); procedural-semantic block (structural components, strategies, forms, methods, means) with an interactive development program and diagnostic-effective block (criteria, indicators, levels), focused on the preparation of future teachers of labor training and technology for continuous professional development by means of independent work during life. Also, in the article defines and theoretically substantiates the pedagogical conditions for ensuring the success and efficiency of the studied phenomenon, which ensured the continuity, efficiency and reliability of the process. Introduction. The social order of modern society sets the task of training a specialist who would be able not only to organize effective communication with all subjects of the educational process, but would also be able to overcome certain crises in the professional activity, confidently go towards the goal, quickly recover from possible pedagogical failures, realistically assess the current situation and the prospects for getting out of it with minimal losses. This actualizes the need for the formation of pedagogical resilience in future teachers, which is possible by introducing a specially developed module into the educational process. The research purpose is to analyze the optimal ways of forming pedagogical resilience through the development and introduction of special training, business games, a project method, a case method in the educational process. Materials and methods. The pedagogical experiment was attended by 58 bachelor students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, studying in the field of study “Pedagogical Education” at the South Ural State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University (Russian Federation). Research methods: a test for diagnosing the level of pedagogical resilience formation; χ2-Pearson statistical test. Research results. A module “Resilient teacher” has been developed and introduced into the educational process, implemented within the framework of the academic discipline “Methods of teaching a second foreign language”. The results of diagnostics at the final stage of the formative experiment showed an increase in the level of pedagogical resilience formation, which indicates the need to include the module in the educational process of training future teachers (χ2 = 5.9; p <0.1). Conclusion. It is concluded that pedagogical resilience is not only an important trait of a teacher’s personality, but it also serves as a fundamental component of successful pedagogical activity in the future.

This article is devoted to the formation of the project competence of future teachers in a university environment. Important tasks are the requirements of the social order for the training of pedagogical personnel who have the skills of project activities: the teacher’s personal and professional readiness for creativity, ability to make non-standard decisions and interact with students. The purpose of the article is to consider the essence and structure of the concept of “project competence of future teachers in a university environment”. Research methods: generalization, analysis and synthesis of information, comparison. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the concretization of the essence and structure of the project competence of future teachers in a university environment, identification and detailed description of their content. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the fact that its results enrich the theory and methodology of professional education in the field of forming the project competence of future teachers; the practical significance lies in the effective implementation of the model for the formation of the project competence of future teachers in a university environment.

Examined is specifics of foreign students’ professional socialization during studying at a regional university. The methodological basis of the research is the theory of dialogue of cultures by M.M. Bakhtin – V.S. Bibler, which allows us to consider the foreign students professional socialization as a component of the broader process of inculturation. The authors identified and characterized three stages of foreign students’ professional socialization. The content of the adaptation stage is the assimilation by students the norms, rules, activity methods characteristic of the socio-cultural environment of the region and for a particular regional university, acquaintance with the values and norms of the future profession. At the stage of individualization, the formation of future specialist professional position begins. The stage of integration is characterized by the initial inclusion of a foreign student in professional activities and in the professional environment. The problems and contradictions characteristic of each stage are revealed, the pedagogically expedient overcoming of which is a necessary condition for the success of foreign students’ professional socialization. The specificity of foreign students’ professional socialization in the educational medium of a regional university is revealed through the features of the pedagogical means used at each stage, such as pedagogical support, reflexive, interactive and projective teaching methods, the inclusion of a student in the professional community of the region.

The methodology of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language is considered in the article; the issues of the language adaptation of foreign students are emphasized. The ability to communicate not only in the educational setting but also in the extracurricular time is stated as the objective of studying the educational course “Ukrainian as a foreign language”. Traditional and innovative approaches that simulate real life situations, offer problems for shared resolutions, enhance students' creative ability, mobilize their attention, and teach them how to develop speech constructs quickly are analyzed. The focus is on a person-centered approach to the classroom, in particular, the game approach as a casual way of submitting starting material. Communicative activity, its main components, and intercultural competence issues were significantly analyzed. The authors share experience in developing tutorials and test assignments; an easy-to-use and informative distance course in the Atutor system; additional training materials in the form of tables, diagrams, exercises, crossword puzzles posted on the social network Facebook. This course allows monitoring the level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students-foreigners in educational-training and game forms. The role of identification as a basic principle of eidetics is analyzed, namely: multimedia presentations that allow both visual and auditory perception of information; qualitatively designed slides; study cards; photos, etc. Examples of the application of different methods of eidetics are given: a chain method, a method of combining a verbal apparatus with the imagination, a method of reconciling fantasy and imagination with the ability to express clearly own thoughts, the method of phonetic associations, work on eidos-abstract, etc. The authors emphasize the benefits of training in an atmosphere of psychological safety and comfort.

The article researches the impact of adaptation principles on drawing up the effective preparatory system. The importance of applying the principles for the analytical activities implementation in the social and pedagogical process for accompanying a foreign student is revealed. The significance of principles for the renovation of the preparatory program is considered. It is determined that the adaptation principles, with timely practical application, contribute to the creation and development of relationships between all components of the process for accompanying a foreign student, which makes it possible for the system to emerge.

In the conditions of system transformations of an education system the contradiction between requirement of society for the teachers of a new formation acting as the guarantor of quality education, and a fragmentariness of the quality training of students at university which isn’t providing fully the social order convinces of need of formation at students of evidence-based, integrative knowledge in the fi eld of quality assessment as element of professional competence. In the article results of modeling of process of formation of quality competence of future teachers and heads of the educational organizations are stated. At the same time pedagogical modeling in the context of the publication is understood as development of the purposes (the general idea) of creation of required pedagogical process and the main ways of their achievement. At creation of model authors were guided by the experience of pedagogical researches, general scientifi c requirements relating to process of modeling and personal practice of formation the quality of competences of university. The presented model gives the chance of transfer of the obtained data in real practice by means of adaptation to specifi c objectives of quality education in the conditions of implementation of professional educational programs of preparation of pedagogical shots.

The relevance of scientific understanding of security in the context of a crisis of generalized trust in Russian society is justified by the search for significant indicators of its interdependence. The scientific discourse of the study of subjective assessments of social well-being allows us to predict the dynamics of these phenomena. The purpose of this article is to identify the optimal socio-economic context, as well as the effectiveness of the regional authorities, which are a necessary condition for optimizing the social well-being of citizens, as one of the basic components of the stability of the region's functioning. The analysis of the basic components of the social well-being of the population of the Altai territory in the context of the analysis of generalized trust in the basic social institutions of the region is presented. On the basis of structural-functional and neo-evolutionist approaches, the role of trust as a basic construct of the social order of functioning of the regional community is revealed. Conclusions are made that the set of assessments of the cognitive and emotional level of sensations indicates that most of the inhabitants of the region have a low estimate of the potential of social institutions responsible for the safety of life in the region.
