A work accident is an unplanned event that has the potential to cause injury, damage or other loss to someone. Based on preliminary studies conducted by researchers to 10 employees that the work environment is less than the maximum one of which is caused by a workplace environment that is too hot, muddy, slippery and easily causes employees to slip. The aims of research to determine the factor of affecting work accident. The research used analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population were all employees (72 respondents) and used total sampling and used chi-square test. The results showed there were effect among work situation (Pvalue = 0.011) and unsafety action (Pvalue = 0,000) with work accident. The researcher suggest to PT. Raja Marga to provide warning letters to employees in an effort to avoid work accidents to the maximum extent.

Work safety can be a component of the broadly understood sustainable enterprise approach that goes beyond the idea of sustainable development. Sustainability in an unpredictable and turbulent environment has many constellations, many aspects and many fields of the enterprise’s activity and it complements the rationality of the business. The aim is to understand the sustainability of safety, because this is the term we have adopted for rationality in occupational safety management, in the context of the analysis of work accidents in the Polish steel industry, with particular emphasis on the methodology of forecast assessment in the studied area, proposed by us. The realized forecasts were used for the creation of a combined model which formed the basis for formulating conclusions from the analysis. The publication presents the modeling of the victims of work accidents in the steel sector in Poland. Based on the research of the forecasts obtained, a downward trend is recorded in the number of persons injured in accidents at work in the steel sector. In order to select the optimal model, it was proposed to set combined forecasts. In order to select the optimal model, it was proposed to set combined forecasts. The obtained values of ex-ante forecasts in the combined model also confirmed the forecasted trends determined within the adaptation models. The study is a proposal to extend the combined forecasting methods used to assess occupational safety. We consciously chose to include the methodology of combined forecasting of the number of people injured in accidents in the interpretation of sustainability, because we see the possibility of interpreting accident rates in sustainable business in the future. In the publication, we propose the framework of the sustainable safety model as an element of work safety management in an enterprise. We are trying to answer the question about the place of accident prediction in sustainable safety.

This study was conducted to determine the safety climate, the safety climate reflects workers' perceptions of the true value of safety in an organization - as a contributing factor to the reduction of accidents due to accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of health and safety scores in the company. This study uses a descriptive analytical method with a total of 100 respondents (total respondents) with a variable measuring the level of work safety using a questionnaire published by the National Research Center for the Danish work environment, namely the Nordic Climate Safety Questionnaire 50 (NOSACQ-50) which contains 50 statements and has been completed. tested and translated in 40 languages, one of which is Indonesian. This research was conducted at PT. XYZ Balikpapan which starts in January until March 2021,. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 dimensions that have an average value below 3.30, namely the management safety empowerment dimension, management safety justice dimension and worker’s safety priority and risk non-acceptance dimension. Suggested improvements include making decisions and receiving advice and input from workers regarding work safety and being fair to workers regarding occupational safety and health for management and prioritizing work safety and not taking risks even though the work is busy and reducing risk-taking behavior that is dangerous for workers.

Know Al-Barokah is the high level of work accidents in the production department. Where this study aimed to find out how much influence the level of work accidents on meeting production targets. The method used in this study is linear regression. The results of the correlation / relationship value (R) of 0.779 obtained the output obtained a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.607 which means that the influence of the work accident variable on the variable fulfillment target of 60.7%.

The work accidents and occupational diseases are very important especially in the industrializing countries. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO) every 15 seconds, a worker dies from a work-related accident or disease. Every 15 seconds, 160 workers have a work-related accident. Every day, 6.300 people die as a result of occupational accidents or work-related diseases–more than 2,3 million deaths per year. The economic burden of poor occupational safety and health practices is estimated at 4 per cent of global Gross Domestic Product each year. In Turkey, work accidents’ figures are very high but occupational diseases’ figures are not very high. There are several causes of this condition. In Turkey, the Work Accidents, Occupational Diseases and Maternity Act No. 4772 was accepted in 1947. The Social Security and General Health Insurance Act No.5510 was accepted in 2006. There are regulations about the work accident and occupational disease insurance in the Act. According to the Act, insured and the rights holders can obtain some assistance.

This paper brings to the fore the need to study the causality of work accidents starting from the hypothesis that the causes must be identified immediately, respectively the dysfunctions of the work system, which contribute to their occurrence. So, in the causal chain of the work accident, the last link is the “meeting” between the victim and the material agent who injures her, and often the factors of the work system, which are potential causes of injury, are specific to the worker and represent an error inappropriate behaviour in terms of occupational safety, in the form of wrongdoing or omissions. In this regard, cognitive ergonomics is still an untapped area, although it can make significant contributions to improving work performance and creating safe and healthy working environments in industry. Cognitive functions are relevant when we talk about 4 essential skills of the worker, respectively: sensation and perception, attention, short and long term memory. The paper brings more information for the scientific community because the analysis highlights the link between the cognitive functions of workers and the errors generated by them in the dynamics of a work accident, and can also be a starting point for new research.
