ABSTRACT The main problem in Angina pectoris is transient chest pain or a feeling of pressure that occurs when the heart muscle is deprived of oxygen. Non-pharmacological therapy is a decision to help pharmacological therapy in reducing the scale of pain quickly, one of which is the Guided Imagery technique. This study aims to determine the effect of Guided imagery techniques on reducing pain in patients with Angina pectoris in the ICVCU Room of the Regional General Hospital Dr. Moewardi, Surakarta in 2019. This type of research is experimental with pre-experimental design with one-group type pre-test design. The instrument of data collection in this study was the Standard Operational Procedure Guided Imagery and observation sheet which included the name, age, sex and scale of pain before and after Guided imagery techniques. The subjects in this study were Angina pectoris patients according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis used was the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis on 40 respondents who were given Guided imagery relaxation showed a decrease in pain scale as evidenced by a significance value of 0,000, where the value of p <0.05 so that H0 was rejected. There is an effect of the Guided imagery technique on reducing patient pain with Angina pectoris as evidenced by changes in pain scale. Keywords: Angina pectoris, Guided imagery, Pain.   Abstrak Permasalahan utama pada Angina pectoris adalah nyeri dada sementara atau suatu perasaan tertekan yang terjadi jika otot jantung mengalami kekurangan oksigen. Terapi non farmakologi merupakan suatu keputusan untuk membantu terapi farmakologi dalam menurunkan skala nyeri secara cepat salah satunya dengan teknik Guided imagery. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik Guided imagery terhadap penurunan                 nyeri pasien dengan Angina pectoris di Ruang ICVCU RSUD Dr. Moewardi, Surakarta tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan desain pra eksperimen dengan jenis one-grup pra post-test design. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah Standar Operational Procedure Guided imagery dan lembar observasi yang meliputi nama, umur, jenis kelamin dan skala nyeri sebelum serta setelah dilakukan teknik Guided imagery. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah pasien Angina pectoris sesuai kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji wilcoxon.  Hasil analisa data pada 40 responden yang diberikan relaksasi Guided imagery menunjukkan adanya penurunan skala nyeri dibuktikan dengan nilai significancy 0,000, dimana nilai p < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak. Ada pengaruh teknik Guided imagery terhadap penurunan nyeri pasien dengan Angina pectoris dibuktikan dengan perubahan skala nyeri. Kata Kunci : Angina pectoris, Guided imagery, Nyeri

Background: Lactating mothers were successful in giving exclusive breastfeeding as much as 42% based on SDKI (Survei Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia) in 2012. This is depend on the support of husbands and families as well as health workers. Thus, the husband or family should remind and motivate mothers as well as monitor the breastfeeding activity every day for 6 months using breastfeeding calendar.Objectives: This study aimed to determine the increase in knowledge and attitudes of mothers in providing exclusive breastfeeding after the exclusive breastfeeding calendar training.Materials and Methods: The research design used a quasi-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. This research was conducted on mothers who had babies (age 0-12 months) in Pasawahan Village and Pasawahan Kidul Village, Pasawahan District, Purwakarta Regency in April to November 2018, with 96 respondents. The sampling technique was conducted by purposive sampling. Data were collected by giving questionnaires to respondents, before and after the breastfeeding calendar training were given. The Wilcoxon test was used for the analysis of the data in this study.Results: The results showed that there were differences in the knowledge of mothers before and after training on breastfeeding calendar (p <0,000) and there were differences in the attitudes of mothers before and after the training on breastfeeding calendar (p <0,000).Conclusions: There was an increase in knowledge and changes in the attitude of mothers towards exclusive breastfeeding after being given the breastfeeding Calendar training. Therefore, suggestions for health workers, especially midwives and nutrition workers, can use the breastfeeding calendar as an educational medium to increase husband and family support in exclusive breastfeeding.

Background: There was joint pain that frequently happens by the elderly, which was joint pain. One of actions to abate the joint pain was compress with warm ginger.Objectives: The aims of this research were to identify the effect of warm ginger compress towards joint pain of the elderly at UPT Panti Werdha Mojopahit, Mojokerto District.Method: Design of this research was Pre-Experiment with Type of one group pre-test-post test design. Population of this research was whole of elderly who undergoes joint pain at UPT Panti Werdha Mojopahit Mojokerto district. Technique that used to take sample in this research was purposive sampling with 20 respondents. Data collecting was done before and after warm ginger compress was given use pain scale instrument PAINAD with 1-10 scale. The researcher used Wilcoxon statistic test with value of α=0, 05 to analyze the data.Results: The result of this research wasgained before carried out by warm ginger compress with advance pain scale of 6 respondents (30%), and intermediate pain scale of 10 respondents (50%). After the warm ginger compress was done by 8 respondents (40%) with light pain scale and 11 respondents (55%) with intermediate pain. Data analyzing used statistic test with Wilcoxon P value test 0,003 (α˂ 0, 05). It showed that warm ginger compress effective towards joint pain of the elderly.Conclusion: Looking at the result above shows that warm ginger compress can be created as one of alternative choices to decrease joint pain intensity of the elderly, because this non-pharmacologist treatment uses easy to be obtained ingredient and there is no side effect for the elderly.Key words: Joint Pain, Warm Ginger Compress, Elderly.

Autonomy is important to be taught early because makes it will easier for children to carry out further education. Autonomy also leads children to have high self-esteem and intrinsic motivation. The most prominent problem in children at TK Tunas Harapan Emaus Liliba Kupang is autonomy.  Autonomy can be promoted in various ways, one of them which is story telling. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an increase in autonomy of children ages 4-5 years after story telling. The research method used in this research is experimental method with quantitative approach. The research design used is a non-equivalent research design or also called "one group pre test and post test design" which is a research design used by giving before and after the activitiies test in a single group research sample. The results of this study indicate that by the Wilcoxon test showed a significant increase in autonomy of children ages 4-5 years (p&lt;0.05)

Background: The aging process is a natural process faced by humans where there is a decrease or change in physical, emotional, psychosocial conditions which will certainly affect their productivity. This situation tends to have the potential to cause health problems, one of which is insomnia. There are some serious effects on sleep disorders such as excessive daytime sleepiness, impaired attention and memory, mood, depression, and decreased quality of life.Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of giving guided imagery to insomnia in the elderly at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Jara Mara Pati Kab. Buleleng.Methods: The research design used was pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all elderly people who experienced insomnia in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Jara Mara Pati Kab. Buleleng with a sample size of 36 respondents, by using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection using a checklist sheet. The data obtained were then coded, scored, tabulated, and analyzed with the Wilcoxon test with a significant value of 0.05.Results: The results of this study show the results of value < which means that there is an influence of guided imagery on insomnia in the elderly.Conclusion: Seeing the results of this study can be used as non-pharmacological therapy by the elderly in (UPT) Jara Mara Pati Kab. Buleleng to improve sleep quality which is done once a month on a scheduled basis

The research design used was Experimental with Kunsekutive Sampling technique. The population in this study were patients who had migraine in Noreh village. The working area of Puskesmas Sreseh was 18 respondents and the result was analyzed using Shapiro Wilk and Wilcoxon test. The results of the study in migraine patients can be seen that the mean pretest scale of migraine pain scale is 4.67 whereas, for the mean posttest of migraine pain scale is 2.22. In the pretest of migraine pain scale the minimum value found is 4 whereas, the maximum value is 6. While in posttest skalanyeri migraine the minimum value found is 1 whereas, the maximum value is 3. In the Shapiro Wilk analysis showed that there were differences in the scale of migraine pain before and after wet bruise therapy. In the Wilcoxon analysis comparing migraine patients, a p-value of 0,000 indicated that there was an effect of wet-brushing therapy on changes in the pain scale. To health workers and educational institutions are expected to use wet brewing therapy as a complementary alternative and as a non-pharmacological treatment that can reduce the scale of pain.

ABSTRACT Background: Dysmenorrhea is a gynaecological complaint due to an imbalance of the hormone progesterone in the blood, which causes pain. Dysmenorrhea can be treated with non-pharmacological methods, namely by herbal therapy of macaranga (Macaranga triloba) leaves because macaranga leaves contain anti-oxidants which have the effect of reducing dysmenorrhea pain. This study aimed to examine the effect of macaranga leave capsule as on dysmenorrhea as a complementary therapy Subjects and Method: This was an experimental study with pre and posttest study without a control group design. Total of 60 female students were taken by accidental sampling. The dependent variable was dysmenorrhea. The independent variable was macaranga leave capsule. The study instrument used was Sclae Numeric Rating Scale by measuring the dysmenorrhea pain scale before and after being given mcaranga leaf capsule therapy. After 15 minutes, the dysmenorrhea pain scale was measured again. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed that on the first and second day, 57 respondents experienced a decrease in dysmenorrhea pain and 3 respondents did not experience a decrease in dysmenorrhea pain, and it was statistically significant (p<0.001). Background. Hypnotherapy is a hypnotic application in curing psychological disorders and relieving physical disorders. The mechanism of action of hypnosis is based on the subconscious. Some scientists speculate that hypnosis stimulates the brain to release neurotransmitters (chemicals in the brain), encephalin, and endorphins and suppress the hypothalamus, which functions to improve mood so that it can change the individual's acceptance of nausea.   Purpose. This research aims to determine the effect of hypnotherapy techniques on the characteristics of nausea in patients who underwent chemotherapy in hospitals Mitra Plumbon Cirebon.   Method. This study used pre experimental methods with non-randomized one group pre test and post test design performed on patients chemotherapy who experienced nausea. The sample in this study is the entire population of patients who have undergone chemotherapy and experienced nausea in the hospital Mitra Plumbon the total samples are 54 respondent data  analysis used Wilcoxon Test.   Result. The result of the research on 54 subjects in hypnotherapy showed the nausea characteristics of chemotherapy patients before and after hypnotherapy was 51 people with decreased nausea, 3 people with the result remained nauseous and nobody experienced increased nausea. Wilxocon Signed Ranks Test Test results obtained significancy value 0.000 (p, 0.05), thus there is a significant difference of nausea characteristics before after hypnotherapy. Conclusions. This suggests that hypnotherapy is effective and effective against the reduction of nausea characteristics in chemotherapy patients. It is hoped that the action of hypnotherapy can be made as an intervention in dealing with nausea.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of chest physiotherapy, effective coughing, and nebulizer on increasing oxygen saturation in blood in COPD patients at Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital. The design of this research is Quasi Experiment using observation method with One Group Pre-Post Test design approach. Statistical results of paired T test (Wilcoxon test) for the value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05). Conclusion, there is an effect of giving chest physiotherapy, effective cough and nebulizer to increase oxygen saturation in blood before and after intervention in COPD patients.   Keywords: Effective Cough Chest Physiotherapy, Nebulizer, COPD, Oxygen Saturation

Background: Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which damage to the joints of aging been anticipated plays an important role in the development of osteoarthritis (Stanley, 2006). It forced a decline in activity or immobilization so it accelerate the prognosis of the disease. This study aimed to determine the Range of Motion (ROM) exercise influence in changing the pain scale in elderly with osteoarthritis in the elderly Posyandu Kalianget Timur Kalianget Sumenep. Method: This Research design is pre experiment one group pre and post test design with simple random sampling. The population are 76 people with total sample of 64 people. Data were analyzed using wilcoxon test. Result: The results of the study prior to Range of Motion (ROM) exercise pain scale at nearly half the respondents (48.4%) had moderate pain (scale 4-6). And after Range of Motion (ROM) exercise pain scale at nearly half the respondents (46.9%) had mild pain (scale 1-3). Data were analyzed using wilcoxon test. The results obtained p = 0.000 which means Range of Motion (ROM) exercise significantly effective in changing the pain scale in osteoarthritis patients in the elderly Posyandu Kalianget Timur Sumenep. Conclusion: ROM exercises is non pharmacological therapy that can aplied to reduce the scale of pain in elderly with osteoarthritis. The result of this study is expected to increase the knowledge and prevent pain by creating and ROM maintaining positive habit to avoid degenerative joint stiffness that caused by pain.
