Health education is one of the health education activities, carried out by spreading a message, instilling confidence with the aim that the community aware, know, understand, and want to do a suggestion related to health. Counseling can be done by the method of storytelling, assisted by finger puppet props. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of students about oral health through counseling - using and without finger puppets. This research is a descriptive study with survey method which examines 36 samples. Data is collected through a questionnaire filled out by students, which is then processed using a frequency distribution table Through the results of the study, the following data are known: the score of knowledge level after counseling without teaching aids is 4 students (22%) in the good category, 14 students (78%) in the medium category, and no students in the bad category; after giving information with finger puppets props changes, 15 students (83%) in the good category, 3 students (17%) in the medium category, and no students in the bad category. This study concludes that counseling with the use of finger puppets is very effective, characterized by an increase in knowledge through this extension method.

Aim: The study aims to create awareness among Tobacco users on knowledge regarding Oral Health Hazards. Objectives: i) To assess the pre and post test level of knowledge of oral health hazards among tobacco users. ii) To assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge of oral health hazards among tobacco users. iii) To find the association between post test level of knowledge regarding oral health hazards among tobacco users with their socio demographic variables. Methods & Materials: A quantitative research approach-Pre-experimental research design with one group pre test and post test design was adopted. 50 samples were selected for the study by using non probability purposive sampling technique. Results: The study findings shows that in pre test level of knowledge among 50 samples 42(84%) had inadequate knowledge and 8(16%) had moderate adequate knowledge. In post test level of knowledge among 50 samples 33(66%) had moderate adequate knowledge and 17(34%) had had excellent knowledge. The pre test mean was 5.74 with the standard deviation of 10.29 and the post test mean was 14.6 with the standard deviation of 9.91 the mean difference of pre and post is 8.86; standard error is 1.401 ‘t’ value is 34.775 significant at p<0.05 it indicates that the knowledge level of tobacco users improved after structured teaching programme. The finding of the study shows that there is significant association between level of knowledge with occupation p<0.05. Conclusion: The study finding shows that, the post test level of knowledge is better than the pre-test knowledge. Hence it can be concluded that, structured teaching programme on oral health hazards was effective in improving the knowledge level among tobacco users. Based on Research (RisKesDa) on years 2013 Yogyakarta Special Region is a province with a prevalence of age ≥ 10 years each day smoking as much as 21.2%. There are many reasons teenagers or children age ≤ 15 years of smoking. The factor that causes the child to smoke are from the environment of smoking parents or peers and from the individual himself. This study was conducted to find out the description of parent's knowledge about cigarettes in parents own children smokers age 10-15 years in the Village Modinan. This research is a descriptive study using survey method. The sample was 38 respondents by using Purposive Sampling technique. Measuring tools using questionnaire. Parent's knowledge level on cigarettes in parents own had 10-15 year old smokers in 38 respondents showed that knowledge level was in good category. Obtained 60.5% of parents at the age of 36-45 years, 63.2% of parents have senior high school, 52.6% of parents work as housewife, and 55.4% of unemployed parrent. Knowledge of cigarettes in parents own have 10-15 year old smokers in Modinan Village mayority in the category of good knowledge.

Leprosy up to now is still one of the problems in public health faced by the Indonesian people, especially in Majene Regency. The emergence of new cases shows that the transmission process is still due to the delay in leprosy in treating them. This study aims to determine the relationship between health education to the level of knowledge, families of people affected by leprosy in the Work Area of Banggae II Health Center, Majene Regency. This quantitative research method used a quasi-experiment research design with a sample of 50 respondents. The results showed that there was a relationship between health counseling on the level of family knowledge of lepers with the SPSS test using a paired T-test with a sig value (P = 0.07) which means there was a relationship. It is recommended to health workers to further improve health supervision and promotion to family members of leprosy patients about leprosy, transmission, treatment, and drug side effects. It is expected that families pay more attention and give moral support to patients so that patients are more confident and diligent for treatment. Keywords: health education; knowledge; family; leprosy ABSTRAK Penyakit kusta adalah penyakit menular menahun yang disebabkan oleh Mycrobacterium leprae yang menyerang saraf tepi, kulit dan jaringan tubuh lainnya. Penyakit kusta sampai dengan sekarang masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan dalam kesehatan masyarakat yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Indonesia khususnya di Kabupaten Majene. Munculnya kasus baru menunjukkan masih terjadinya proses penularan diakibatkan dari keterlambatan penderita kusta dalam melakukan pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan, keluarga penderita kusta di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Banggae II Kabupaten Majene. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian quasi experiment dengan jumlah sampel 50 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan keluarga penderita kusta hasil uji SPSS menggunakan uji T berpasangan dengan nilai sig (P= 0,07) yang berarti terdapat hubungan. Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan agar lebih meningkatkan pengawasan dan promosi kesehatan kepada anggota keluarga penderita kusta tentang penyakit kusta, penularan, pengobatan, dan efek samping obat. Diharapkan keluarga lebih memperhatikan dan memberi dukungan moral pada penderita agar penderita lebih percaya diri dan tekun untuk berobat. Background: The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of health education about Oral Hypoglycemic Drugs on the knowledge level of patient DM about Oral Hypoglycemic Drugs. Method: Using pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample used is a diabetes mellitus patients who consumed Oral Hypoglycemic Drugs in Persadia units RSUD Dr.Moewardi in Surakarta as much as 30 respondents. Assessment of the knowledge level diabetes mellitus patients about Oral Hypoglycemic Drugs using a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Paired t-Test. The Results: Showed p=0,000 with correlation coefficient 0.558. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant influence between the provision of health education about OHO on the level of knowledge of DM patients about OHO.

Introduction: Behaviors is to maintain oral health in a person will be begin to improve the person’s knowledge about oral health. Dental health promotion to patients can be done by professional program students. These efforts are made individually, while in the dental chair or commonly known as chairsidetalk. This study was a descriptive study with survey technique. Data was  collected using a questionnaire sheet. The purpose of this study to assess knowledge of oral health in patients who treated by professional dentistry program students RSGM FKG UNPAD. Methods: This study was a descriptive study with survey technique. Sample of this study were patients who were treated by dentistry professional program students RSGM FKG UNPAD, which was purposive random sampling method, and the number of samples obtained were 224 patients. Results: The results shows that patients treated in the dentistry professional program students RSGM FKG UNPAD have a good level of knowledge,  total of 116 respondents (51.79%), the second highest frequency of 82 respondents (36.61%) had a level of knowledge and at least enough of the respondents were 26 respondents (11.61%) had a level of knowledge is lacking. Conclusion: Conclusions the study are patients who had received care from the dentistry professional program students in  RSGM FKG UNPAD has a good level of knowledge about oral health.

Introduction: Dental treatment is considered not very important, but the benefits are vital in supporting health and appearance. Oral health knowledge affects a person’s behavior of maintaining oral hygiene. Efforts to oral health care should be done at early age. The purpose of this study was to determine oral health knowledge of students in grade 5 and 6 of Sekeloa 1 and 2 Elementary School Bandung. Methods: This study was a descriptive study with survey method. The method used in sampling was total sampling with a sample size of 158 students in grade 5 and 6 in Sekeloa 1 and 2 Elementary School Bandung. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to the objects. Results: Oral health knowledge of student’s in grade 5 and 6 in Sekeloa 1 and 2 Elemantary School Bandung are in 38 respondents (24.1%) with good category; 85 respondents (53,8%) with moderate category; and 35 respondents (22.2%) with less category. Conclusion: Oral health knowledge of 5 and 6 grades of Sekeloa 1 and 2 Elementary School Bandung was moderate.

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang upaya pencegahan penyakit menular seksual di desa Jagaraga. Adapun metode pengabdiannya yaitu penyuluhan dengan pendekatan edukatif melalui tahap (i) Pretes (ii) Penyuluhan kesehatan tentang penyakit menular seksual (iii) Penyuluhan kesehatan tentang HIV/AIDS (iv) Penyuluhan kesehatan tentang perilaku seksual yang sehat (v) Evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 4 bulan (Oktober 2019-Januari 2020). Setelah dilakukan rangkaian kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan, terjadi peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan remaja setelah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan selama tiga kali yaitu peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 45,3% dan tingkat pengetahuan baik sebanyak 21,4%. Diharapkan ketua remaja dan perangkat desa Jagaraga dapat menindaklanjuti kegiatan ini secara mandiri Increasing Adolescent Knowledge in Efforts to Prevent Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Jagaraga Village Kuripan, West Lombok This service aims to increase the knowledge of adolescents about efforts to prevent sexually transmitted diseases in Jagaraga village. The method of service is counseling with an educative approach through stages (i) Pretest (ii) Health education about sexually transmitted diseases (iii) Health education about HIV/AIDS (iv) Health education about healthy sexual behavior (v) Evaluation. This activity was carried out for 4 months (October 2019-January 2020). After a series of health counseling activities were carried out, there was an increase in the level of knowledge of adolescents after three times health counseling, namely an increase in the level of sufficient knowledge by 45.3% and a good level of knowledge by 21.4%. It is hoped that the youth leaders and the Jagaraga village apparatus can follow up on this activity independently.

This research is motivated by the importance of knowledge of an employee, especially harvest employees in order to obtain maximum FFB, it encourages researchers to determine the level of knowledge about harvesting. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of harvest employees and determine the level of knowledge of harvest employees about harvesting techniques and harvesting tools used.Collecting data in the research in the form of questionnaires and interviews, the method used is descriptive analysis to describe the level of knowledge of harvesting employees based on the frequency distribution of respondents' answers and responses to questions in the questionnaire.Characteristics of respondents at PT Sawit Sukses Sejahtera based on age at most, namely those aged over 35 years with a percentage of 68%, from education the most, namely elementary school with a percentage of 77%, based on work experience at most 1-5 years with a percentage of 41%. The respondent's level of knowledge on harvesting techniques is in the "know" category because the knowledge level score reaches 59.5. The respondent's level of knowledge of harvesting tools is in the "know" category with an average score of 64.94.

The so called Public Places are places where many people gather and perform activitiesinCidentally or continuously. Activities in public places are vulnerable to threats of disease transmission,either directly or indirectly. To maintain and improve health conditions, the PHBSway of life needs to bepractised. The purpose of the study was to determine the practice of the PHBSprinciples in public placesespecially among the food stalls.Basedon the method of data analysis this was considered a descriptive study with cross sectionalapproach. Data was gathered through questionnaires, check lists and observations. The number ofsamples in this study was 55 owners of food vendors. The data obtained were subjected to subsequentdescriptive analysis.Results of the study with regard to knowledge level showed that 63,6% of respondents havesufficient level of knowledge. attitudes the study showed that 63,6% of respondents were consideredadequate. While in terms of the action the study showed that 83,6% of respondents can in the IIIrdclaSSification, where among the 10 indicators there are only 7-9 qualified indicators that met therequirements, due to the absence of good garbage bins and lack of hand washing facilities.The study suggested that promotional programs need to be intensified to improve the PHBSparctices in public places. Managers of the bus terminal need to provide food vendors with proper handwashing facilities

Introduction. Each year 80 000 Poles are suffering from stroke. The most common risk factors are hypertension, diabetes and complications, hyperlipidemia, obesity, atrial fibrillation. Lifestyle modification, such as diseases controlling, diet changing, exercises, stop smoking and limiting alcohol consumption are known as stroke prevention. Thrombectomy and thrombolytic therapy definitely increase long-term survival and prognosis. Aim. Objective of the work is assessment of surgical nurses knowledge level about postoperative stroke. Material and Methods. The research was conducted on a group of 55 randomly chosen surgical nurses. The diagnostic survey method with a proprietary questionnaire was used for the research. Results. Nurses knowledge was poor. Education and age affect to answers. Higher education qualification nurses have higher knowledge level relative to less educated nurses. Younger nurses have higher knowledge level than older nurses. Conclusions. Cardiosurgery and vascular surgery are charged as the most risk onset postoperative stroke. Knowledge of surgical nurses about risk factors, prevention, symptom, complications and procedures in case of stroke onset have particular meaning in postoperative caring.
