One of the most interesting legal ideas in the current legal literature of Indonesia is progressive law. This is because progressive law has challenged the existence of modern law which has so far been considered established in punishment. The law reveals the veil and overthrows the failures of modern law based on positiveistic, legalistic and linear philosophy to address issues developed in accordance with the law as a matter of human and humanity. Progressive law contains the liberating spirit of liberation from the legalistic and linear conventional legal conviction. Running a law is not merely textual legislation but in running the law must be by determination, empathy, dedication, commitment to the suffering of the nation to dare to find another way to prosper human. Progressive law starts from a basic assumption, law is an institution that aims to bring people to a life of justice, prosperity and make people happy. The flexibility of the development of Islamic legal thought is highly relevant to introducing the ethos of progresivism in the dynamics and crystallization of Islamic law. The implication of this progressive mode of thinking is the liberation of mankind from mythological, passive and aggressive-conservative things. On the basis of this progressive ethos, it is recognized the capacity of the free will, free act.

That the current moral collapse is due to the values of honesty, truth, justice, please help, and compassion have been replaced by misuse, oppression, tackle each other, deception, and mutual harm. So much slander and fighting sheep, licking, corruption, and many other disobedience. The description of social violations occurring in this nation opens space to reflect on the extent to which formal education efforts, which are nationally organized institutions, educate, direct and guide students in a normative way. Because in his view that education is a means of educating personal character. As an Islamic Figure, Hamka's views on Islamic education are very deep. According to Hamka, education is the parents' religious guidance for children by: helping humans to obtain a decent living, but more than that, with human knowledge, they will be able to know their God, refine their morals, and always try to seek the pleasure of God. Therefore, the purpose of education is to serve and worship Him. Therefore, in educational material must include the following three things, namely: science, charity, morals and justice. So we should appreciate Buya Hamka's efforts to participate in developing the intellectual life of the nation by applying its views on education. He founded the Al-Azhar Foundation, which has spread its branches throughout Indonesia.

Today the Ummah is experiencing a crisis in Islamic civilization. One indicator is the occurrence of spiritual degradation among them, even though the spiritual dimension of Islam has inspired the civilization as a whole. Therefore, efforts to revitalize Islam must start from a re-understanding of this matter. Wali Sanga is seen as the party who succeeded in building Islamic civilization in this country. Their teachings are widely accepted by Muslims today. Among the Wali Sanga teachings related to the spiritual dimension of Islam that is important to study is the teachings of Sunan Bonang about musyahadah. Musyâhadah is part of ihsân which is the highest level in Islam. Musyâhadah needs to be cultivated in the soul of Muslims in the midst of a civilization crisis, spiritual crisis, and crises in various dimensions of life. The purpose of this research is to describe how the teachings of Sunan Bonang about musyâhadah and to trace the extent of the influence of the thoughts of previous scholars on these teachings. The method used is literature study, which is how research works by searching for data through books and other written sources related to the problem. Based on this research, Sunan Bonang taught that a believer should always remember Allah in every situation so that he is able to concentrate his inner eye vision only on Allah. Everything other than Allah disappeared from his heart so that whatever could be seen by his eyes always reminded him of the Creator alone. Wherever he is, he feels with Allah (sortie Lan Pangēranê). This is what is meant by musyahadah. The teachings of Sunan Bonang about musyahadah were heavily influenced by previous scholars, such as Amru bin Uthman Al-Makki, Abu Sa'id Al-Kharraz, Abu Ali Ad-Daqqaq, and so on.
