This article presents the results of research work on the development of a new variety of spring triticale, suitable for baking. The work was carried out in the Chuvash Republic. The soils of the experimental site are dark – gray forest, heavy-loamy, unwashed. The climatic conditions are favorable for growing spring triticale. The pilot site is located in the Central agroclimatic zone. Breeding work was started in 2011. The breeding method is hybridization. The varieties of spring triticale as Rovnya and Saur are involved in the crossing. An elite plant was selected in 2013. In the next two years, small station tests were conducted, then two years-competitive station tests; in 2018-2020 – environmental variety testing. The standard - Rovnya variety. The new Narspi variety has a high yield – an average of 65 centners per hectare over the past three years, which is to 18 centners per hectare more than the standard. The grain size of Narspi variety was 731.7 grams per litre, while the value of this indicator in the Rovnya variety was 712.7 grams per litre. The weight of 1000 grains in the new variety is also higher than the standard and on average for three years reached 47.5 grams. The new variety is suitable for baking. The volume yield of bread when baking bread from flour obtained from Narspi grain was 273 cm3/100 grams of flour, which is higher than the standard for 30 cm3/100 grams of flour. The content of raw gluten in the new grain reaches a value of 28%, which is 7% higher than the standard. According to the results of the tests, an application for registration of a new variety of Narspi in the register of breeding achievements was submitted in 2020

In Northwest Russia, creation and introduction of new varieties of cereals characterized by early maturity, high adaptive potential and ecological plasticity is one of the most important tasks. A new generation of barley varieties is needed that combines high yields with early maturity, high feed qualities of grain, and resistance to lodging and grain shedding. We carried out field and laboratory studies of a new variety of spring barley Fermerskiy in an experimental field of the Leningrad Research Institute of Agriculture "Belogorka". In 2021, Fermersky was transferred for state variety testing. The variety is midseason and the growing season is 72–87 days. Over three years of competitive variety testing (2018–2020), the yield increase was 1.25 t/ha relative to the Suzdalets standard (3.12 t/ha). The highest yield of 5.27 t/ha was obtained in 2019, under conditions of low moisture supply. The average index of ecological plasticity (Jsp) was 1.48 (min 1.11, max 1.94). The adaptive potential (ds/dk) was 7.91 (min 6.92, max 9.08), The Fermerskiy variety consistently formed a high yield and was characterized by ecological plasticity, early maturity, and resistance to diseases and lodging.

Relevance. Melon is one of the most common cultures among melons. Bykovskaya for melon breeding research station scouting for new varieties of melon. When breeding melons, it is necessary to pay attention to such economic characteristics of melons as precocity, productivity, high quality products, resistance to disease, cold resistance.Methods. Studies were carried out in 2017-2018 at the Bikovskaya experimental station, in rainfed conditions. Object of study – varieties and hybrid populations of melon.Results. As a result of selection work the new variety sample of melon of Syngent x Dune is received. In 2017, this population was first included in the station variety testing. According to the research results, the new hybrid population Matures before The standard of the autumn variety for 6 days. The excess in yield over the standard is 6.6 t / ha. The taste of the new variety sample is at the level of standard varieties Osen. Thus, the variety sample of Syngent x Dune has a beautiful appearance, high yield of marketable products, good taste of the fruit, resistance to sunburn, good transportability, which will diversify the range of melon varieties grown in Russia.

Исследования проводились в Московской области в 20172018 годах. В настоящее время тритикале ( Triticosecale Wittm.) в основном является кормовой культурой, однако она ценна и для пищевого направления использования. Целью работы было выявление генотипов яровой тритикале, обладающих высокой урожайностью и хорошим качеством зерна. Изучены элементы структуры урожая и качество зерна шести сортов отечественной и зарубежной селекции, а также шести селекционных линий, полученных коллективом авторов. Эксперимент и анализ результатов работы выполнены по Методике государственного сортоиспытания сельскохозяйственных культур . Метеорологические условия значительно повлияли на формирование различных элементов структуры урожая, а также на качество зерна яровой тритикале. Продолжительность вегетационного периода в 2017 году была почти на 3 недели больше, чем в 2018 году, вследствие его низкой теплообеспеченности. В сложившихся погодных условиях 20172018 годов самой низкорослой была линия П2-13-5-2. Линия С259 характеризовалась наиболее крупным зерном, среднеплотным колосом и высокой урожайностью. Сортообразцы Хлебодар Харьковский, Лана, C238 и Л8665 имели стабильную урожайность на уровне стандарта. Сорта Лана, Sandro и селекционные линии C259, 6-35-5 и П2-13-5-2 показали высокое содержание белка и клейковины в сравнении со стандартом Укро. Выделенные сортообразцы могут быть использованы в селекционных программах на урожайность и хорошее качество зерна. Сорт Ульяна и селекционная линия С259 были наиболее урожайными, адаптивными и характеризовались хорошими показателями качества зерна. Сорт Лана и линии П2-13-5-2 и Л8665 давали хлеб с хорошей общей хлебопекарной оценкой. The research was conducted in the Moscow region in 20172018. Currently triticale (Triticosecale Wittm.) is mainly a forage crop, but it is also valuable for food use. The aim of the work was to identify genotypes of spring triticale with high yield and good grain quality. The elements of crop structure and grain quality in 6 varieties of domestic and foreign selection, as well as 6 breeding lines obtained by the team of authors were studied. The experiment and analysis of the results of the work were carried out by the method of state variety testing of agricultural crops. Meteorological conditions significantly influenced the formation of various elements of the crop structure, as well as the quality of spring triticale grain. The duration of the growing season in 2017 was almost 3 weeks longer than in 2018, due to low heat supply. In the current weather conditions of 2017-2018 the plants of the line P2-13-5-2 had the shortest plant height. Line C259 was characterized by the largest grain, medium-dense ear and high yield. Genotypes Khlebodar Kharkovsky, Lana, C238 and L8665 had a stable yield at the standard level. Varieties Lana, Sandro and breeding lines C259, 6-35-5 and P2-13-5-2 showed a high content of protein and gluten in comparison with the standard Ukro. The selected varieties can be used in breeding programs for yield and good quality of grain. Variety Ulyana and breeding line C259 were the most productive, adaptive and characterized by good indicators of grain quality. Lana variety and lines P2-13-5-2 and L8665 gave bread with a good overall baking score.

Relevance. The purpose of the research was to produce a new medium-ripe, high-yielding variety of vegetable peas with the usual type of leaf to expand the variety in the now used conveyor variety selection of the Krymsk EBS VIR Branch.Materials and methods. The experience was laid on the fields of the Krymsk EBS VIR Branch (Russia, Krasnodar Region, Krymsk) in 2019-2020. Varieties and strain were evaluated in a competitive variety testing. Sowing was carried out with a selection seeder SKS-6-10. The plot area was 10 m2 , the experiment was repeated four times. In the phase of technical ripeness, the sheaves were selected for description and the yield was taken into account. The conservation of green peas was done at the Tech Evaluation Lab.Results. Competitive variety testing in the mid-ripeness group was held by two strains 2014/7 and 344/16. The strain 2014/17 for green pea yields surpassed the standard "Parus" and G-344/16 in both years of study. Fresh and processed green peas were rated by the Tasting Commission at 5.0 and 4.8 points, respectively. High yield is achieved due to the paired beans on the peduncle and a large number of grains in the bean, up to 10 pieces. The grain in technical ripeness has a dark green color and the linear dimensions are 9.0x8.1 mm. In biological maturity, the seeds are intensely green, angular-compressed with a mass of 1000 pieces. 188-225 g.Conclusion. The results of field and laboratory analyses carried out on the complex of economicvaluable characteristics made it possible to distinguish the strain 2014/7, which in 2020 was transferred to the State Variety Testing under the name "Patriot". It is recommended as a supplement to the existing set of vegetable pea varieties of the Krymsk EBS VIR Branch in the mid-ripe group.

The aim of our research is to create and introduce new drought-resistant varieties of winter soft wheat adapted to the conditions of the Central region of Russia. New varieties should have a high and stable yield, resistance to lodging, adverse environmental factors and the defeat of the most harmful diseases, but at the same time, having high indicators of grain quality. This article presents the morphological and economic and biological characteristics of a new medium-ripe variety of winter soft wheat Felicia, introduced in 2019. in the State register of breeding achievements of the Russian Federation in the Central region. The variety of winter soft wheat Felicia was created in ISA-branch of FGBNU FNAC VIM by intraspecific complex-step hybridization followed by individual selection from the hybrid population F [(Don region x Inna) x Memory Fedina) x Memory Fedina]. Authors of the variety are Anokhin N.P., Barkovskaya T.A., Gladysheva O.V., Ushakova E.Yu. Variety is erythrospermum. The ear is white, spinous, pyramidal, mean density. The grain is red, semi-elongated form with a pronounced pappus. Beak of opening chords have a medium length, slightly curved, shoulder rounded, medium width. The height of the plants is 75-85 cm. High adaptability to local climatic conditions of the new variety is manifested primarily in yield stable by years, the maximum reached 9.79 t / ha in 2017. On average, over the last 5 years of study (2015-2019) it amounted to 7.5 t / ha exceeding the standard Angelina variety by 0.62 t / ha. The new variety has a high productivity (more than 9.5 t / ha). It was found that the high yield of Felicia is associated with increased water content of the ear and the weight of 1000 grains. In terms of grain quality, the new variety is not inferior to the standard grade Аngelina, which is included in the list of valuable wheat of Russia. The new variety of winter soft wheat “Felicia” meets the requirements of modern production. It is drought resistant, has good baking capabilities and is adapted to the Russia Central region’s conditions. The Felicia variety is recommended to be cultivated on dark gray forest, soddy podzolic soils, chernozems in accordance with the generally accepted varietal technology of winter crops. Sowing dates are optimal for the agricultural zone. The seeding rate is 5.0 million pcs / ha.

Introduction: Climatic conditions are favourable for cultivation of this species throughout our country. Pea entered Europe in its southeast regions and progressed into its interior via Danube.( Ljuština, Marija, 2010) Concerns for growing this species at V.R.D.S.Buzau existed since the establishment (1957). The assortment of varieties has been recently enriched with a new patented variety named Getica.  Pea (Pisum sativum L.) was the original model organism used in Mendel’s discovery (1866) of the laws of inheritance, making it the foundation of modern plant genetics. (Smýkal, 2012). Pulses, including peas, have long been important components of the human diet due to their content of starch, protein and other nutrients. (Wendy J. Dahl, 2011).Aims: Assortment enriching with new valuable varieties in this species, with high yield capacity and high quality, with different periods of maturation in order to reschedule over a long period of time.Materials and Methods: Researches started with collecting germplasm in this species which currently contains 31 genotypes. As genotype control variant in evaluating and sorting the material used for variety improvement was used the well-known variety Getica. After evaluating this collection four genotypes were retained. Breeding method used was especially recurrent individual selection.Results: The researches finalised with the achievement of four new accessions which show different maturity ages; the earliest was L1 that reached technical maturity on June 1 and the late was L4 that reached technical maturity in June 25. The control variant matured in June 5. In terms of plant height, the most vigorous was L4 with 105 cm height and L3 showed a dwarf port with an average height of 56 cm.Conclusion: It has conducted and evaluated a valuable germplasm collection that can be harnessed to improve future research work, also were obtained four new varieties with distinct characteristics, different ripening periods that will  be proposed for patenting. Сорт, выведенный в определенных почвенно- климатических условиях, наиболее адаптирован к ним и в большей степени отвечает требованиям данного региона по качеству продукции. В этом случае селекция наиболее эффективна. Наша задача объединить в одном сорте возможно большее число хозяйственно ценных признаков: высокая урожайность, скороспелость, товарного качества продукции, устойчивость к болезням и вредителям (фузариозному увяданию, ложной мучнистой росе, листогрызущим гусеницам, тле). Но наиболее важный признак для возделывания капусты на юге страны высокая жаростойкость. Поэтому в качестве одного из родителей, чаще материнской формы, обязательно используется местный сорт, хорошо приспособленный к местным условиям. В качестве отцовских форм, выполняющих роль доноров, привлекают образцы из других районов, ценные по тем или иным хозяйственным признакам. Для выделения новых адаптивных генотипов капусты белокочанной разных сроков созревания, в 2009-2014 годах, проводили дальнейшее сравнительное изучение и конкурсное испытание четырех гибридных форм и шести контрольных сортов в коллекции капусты белокочанной озимой станции. Материалом исследования в данной работе служили сорта, выведенные на ДСОСВиО сорт капусты белокочанной озимой Дербентская местная улучшенная (ДМУ), сортотип Бычье сердце, кочан конусовидный (стандарт), сорт Офелия (контроль) и новый сорт, под условным рабочим названием Лиза сорт Елизавета, выведенный селекционером ДСОСВиО Камиловой Е.У. в 2008 году. Сорт Елизавета прошел конкурсное испытание в 2009-2014 годах на коллекционном участке станции. В данной работе представлены экспериментальные данные дополнительного сравнительного изучения сорта Елизавета в озимой культуре за 2017-2019 годы в изменяющихся климатических условиях на коллекционном участке Дагестанской селекционной опытной станции виноградарства и овощеводства (ДСОСВиО). Почвы светло-каштановые. Подвижных форм азота в ней содержится 4,2-5,6 мг, фосфора (фосфата) 6,2-8,6 мг, обменного калия 45-50 мг на 100 г почвы. Мощность пахотного слоя 30-35 см, окультуренность почвы хорошая. Схема посадки 7030 см. Статья содержит агробиологическую и хозяйственно-технологическую характеристики перспективного сорта капусты белокочанной озимой селекции Дагестанской селекционной опытной станции виноградарства и овощеводства, а также основные элементы агротехники его возделывания в сухих субтропиках южного Дагестана. Новый сорт капусты белокочанной озимой превосходит по ряду хозяйственно ценных признаков контрольные сорта ДМУ и Офелия, при этом обладает большей устойчивостью к биотическим и абиотическим стрессорам. Сорт Елизавета будет передан в ГСИ в 2020 году и рекомендуется для внедрения в производство не только в Дагестане, но и во всех южных регионах России.The cultivar bred in specific soil and climatic conditions is most adapted to them and meets the requirements of the region in terms of product quality. In this case, the breeding is most effective. Our task is to combine in one cultivar the largest possible number of economically valuable features: high yield, precocity, product quality, resistance to diseases and pests (Fusarium wilting, downy mildew, leaf-eating caterpillars, aphids). But the primary sign for growing cabbage in the South of the country is high heat resistance. Therefore, it is obligatory to use a local cultivar that is well adapted to local conditions as one of the parents, more often the mother form. As paternal cultivar that performs the role of donors, non-district samples are attracted, valuable for certain economic characteristics. In order to identify new adaptive genotypes of white cabbage of different maturation periods, in 2009-2014, a further comparative study and competitive testing of 4 hybrid forms and 6 control varieties in the collection of white cabbage of the winter station was carried out. Cultivars in the research work used were developed at Dagestan Selection and Experimental Station for Viticulture and Vegetable Growing (DSESVVG). There were winter white cabbage Derbentskaya mestnaya uluchshennaya, Bychye Serdtse (Bull heart) type, with conical head (standard), Ophelia cultivar (control) and a new cultivar, under the provisional working title Lisa Elizabeth, bred by the breeder of DESVVG E.U. Kamilova in 2008. The Elizabeth cultivar passed a competitive test in 2009-2014 at the stations collection site. The article presents experimental data of an additional comparative study of the Elizaveta cultivar in winter culture for 2017-2019 in changing climatic conditions at the collection site of the DESVVG. The soils are light brown. It contains 4,2-5,6 mg of mobile forms of nitrogen, 6,2 8,6 mg of phosphorus (phosphate), and 45 50 mg of exchange potassium per 100 g of soil. The capacity of the arable layer is 30-35 cm, the soil is developed. Planting scheme 70 30 cm. The article contains agrobiological and economic-technological characteristics of promising cultivars of winter white cabbage bred at DESVVG as well as the basic elements of agrotechnology of its growing in the dry subtropics of southern Dagestan. The new cultivar of winter white cabbage surpasses the control cultivars in a number of valuable economic characteristics, while it has greater resistance to biotic and abiotic stressors. The Elizaveta variety will be transferred to the State cultivars testing in 2020 and is recommended for introduction into field growing not only in Dagestan, but also in all southern regions of Russia.

Приведены экспериментальные данные оценки по хозяйственно полезным признакам одиннадцати новых партенокарпических гетерозисных гибридов огурца в условиях весенне-летнего оборота Кировской области. Проблема возделывания теплолюбивых культур в северных регионах страны формирует цели селекционных исследований. Выращивание культуры огурца в Кировской области усугубляется неблагоприятными климатическими условиями второй световой зоны (короткая продолжительность вегетационного периода, низкие положительные температуры, заморозки в третьей декаде июля и в первой декаде августа). Цель научной работы – оценка и выявление перспективных партенокарпических гетерозисных гибридов огурца для выращивания в условиях необогреваемых теплиц в весенне-летнем обороте второй световой зоны. Исследования проводили в лаборатории северного овощеводства Кировской области во Всероссийском научно – исследовательском институте овощеводства – филиале ФГБНУ «Федеральный научный центр овощеводства» в условиях поликарбонатных необогреваемых грунтовых теплиц в течение 2018-2019 годах. В результате фенологических наблюдений и оценки биометрических показателей определены раннеспелость, скороспелость и товарность испытуемых партенокарпических гетерозисных гибридов огурца селекции Агрохолдинга «Поиск» и ВНИИО – филиала ФГБНУ «Федеральный научный центр овощеводства»: F1Авоська, F1 Атос, F1 Букет для мамы, F1Малахитовая шкатулка, F1 Мультифрут, F1 Новатор, F1Пилигрим, F1 Спринтер, F1 Реванш, F1 Тонус, F1Экспресс в сравнении с районированным гибридом огурца F1 Каролина. Определено сильное негативное влияние климатических условий второй световой зоны на продолжительность периода «всходы-плодоношение», который в среднем за годы исследований в зависимости от гибрида варьировал от 47 до 55 суток. Установлено, что для получения ранней продукции огурца в условиях поликарбонатных необогреваемых грунтовых теплиц Кировской области следует выращивать гетерозисные партенокарпические гибриды огурца F1Спринтер (3,6 кг/м2), F1 Авоська (2,1 кг/м2) и F1 Атос (2,5 кг/м2). Отмечены партенокарпические гибриды огурца F1 Спринтер и F1 Атос, которые имеют наиболее высокий выход товарной продукции 95,7 и 94,0%, соответственно. Выделен самый урожайный партенокарпический гибрид огурца F1 Новатор (16,1 кг/м2). В результате исследовательской работы рекомендовано выращивать в условиях необогреваемых теплиц весенне-летнего оборота Кировской области партенокарпические гибриды огурца F1 Новатор, F1 Спринтер, F1 Атос и F1 Авоська. The article presents the experimental data on the assessment of economically useful traits of eleven new parthenocarpic heterotic cucumber hybrids under the conditions of the spring-summer turnover of the Kirov region. The problem of cultivation of thermophilic crops, which arises in the northern regions of the country, is one of the stages of breeding research. The cultivation of cucumber in the Kirov region is aggravated by unfavorable climatic conditions of the second light zone (short duration of the growing season, low positive temperatures, frosts in the third decade of July and in the first decade of August). The purpose of the scientific work is to evaluate and identify promising parthenocarpic heterotic hybrids of cucumber for growing in unheated greenhouses in the spring-summer turnover of the second light zone. The research was carried out in the laboratory of northern vegetable growing of the Kirov region at the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Growing - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Federal Scientific Vegetable Centre in the conditions of polycarbonate unheated ground greenhouses during 2018-2019. As a result of phenological observations and assessment of biometric indicators, the early maturity, early maturity and marketability of the tested parthenocarpic heterotic cucumber hybrids of the selection of Agroholding Poisk and ARRIVG – a branch of the Federal Scientific Vegetable Centre were determined: F1 Avoska, F1 Atos, F1 Buket dlya mamy, F1 Multifrut, F1 Novator, F1 Piligrim, F1Sprinter, F1 Revansh, F1 Tonus, F1 Express in comparison with the zoned hybrid of cucumber F1 Carolina. A strong negative influence of climatic conditions of the second light zone on the duration of the seedling-fruiting period was determined, which on average over the years of research, depending on the hybrid, varied from 47 to 55 days. It has been established that to obtain early production of cucumber in polycarbonate unheated ground greenhouses of the Kirov region, heterotic parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1 Sprinter (3.6 kg/m2), F1 Avoska (2.1 kg/m2) and F1 Atos (2.5 kg/m2). Parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1 Sprinter and F1 Atos were noted, which have the highest yield of marketable products, 95.7 and 94.0%, respectively. The most productive parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid F1Novator (16.1 kg/m2) has been identified. As a result of the research work, it was recommended to grow parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1Novator, F1 Sprinter, F1 Atos and F1 Avoska under conditions of unheated greenhouses of spring-summer turnover of the Kirov region.

The experience of cultivation of soybeans in SC "Agricultural machinery" of the Kaluga region on an area of 190 hectares shows that the soybean variety Alaska is sufficiently adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of this region, provides a high seed yield (up to 32 c / ha) and a high yield (up to 1344 kg / ha) relatively inexpensive protein. However, this variety has a long growing season (95-105 days) and therefore desiccation of crops is required for harvesting for seeds.

The article presents the results of the analysis of the biochemical composition of selected in the competitive variety testing of new varieties and promising lines of spring barley, studied on the experimental field ISA-branch of FGBNU FNAC VIM in 2016-2018. Result of research in different years of water availability among the rooms was allocated a group of high-protein barley with improved feed value: 4 varieties, 2 of which are on the state variety testing, and 2 promising lines. The range of variation of protein content in the grain of the selected samples varied from 13.1 to 14.5 %, lysine – from 0.48 to 0.52 %, weight of 1000 grains-from 48.0 to 53.5 g. According to the data obtained the highest value of protein in grain was observed in krupnosortnogo varieties Zlatoyar (GSI), amounting on average for 14.5 %. The increase was equal to 1.1% in relation to the control variety Yaromir. With an average yield of 6.52 t/ha in the years of research grade Accounting have provided protein per hectare in the amount of 0,94 t/ha. A new variety Sudar´ (GSI) and breeding line 149/4-12 h 788 and 129/1-14 h 907 this indicator has been less productive, however, exceeded the grade Yaromir 0.10 to 0.16 t/ha. Given the higher productivity of new promising varieties and breeding lines, the collection of lysine per unit area they have 12.7, 30.8 per cent was higher than that of the Promej class and 10.6-23.6% more than in the variety Yaromir, which indicates their high biological value. Selected hulless line 1137 h is also an encouraging source of protein and other nutrients of plant origin. The selected lines and new varieties, regardless of weather conditions, were able to ensure the production of high-protein and sources' grain for feed purposes, while maintaining productivity.
