Insubstantial debates in varied media are counter-productive to the efforts of various partiesin educating the society to avoid misinformation. Based on this, it is important to know the media that are referencesand that gain public trust in seeking information. This study examines the level of public trust in information aboutCOVID-19 in the mass media, both old and new media, using an online questionnaire methodology on May 3, 2020,which was given to 60 respondents. It is argued that media have great impact on human beings. Mass communication was able to persuade the public from cognitive (knowledge) and affective aspects (emotional and feeling) to changes in behavior. These effects are related to each other. This is due to the fact that when people receive messages, they do not immediately accept it, but the messages are filtered with careful consideration. And there are still personal and social factors which determine the extent to which mass media have impacts on changes in human attitudes and behavior. Indeed, humans live in a world that is filled with a variety of needs and interests, in which the  media has a  big role. The people’s  actions may not directly result from the influence of the media. However, it cannot be denied that the global community will increasingly depend on the media.

This research was a study conducted on transgender as one of the media spotlight. This study aimed to describe how the media portrays the existence of transgender in Indonesia through media. In this case the researchers looked at the cases of Dena Rachman. Results showed that there was particular justification of media in portraying negatively the behavior of people who become transgender or the like. The portrayal makes people against for the decision and behavior taken by Dena Rachman. Changing the male identity to be a female is very unusual. Especially for those who think that identity is inherent and unchangeable. Yet this identity is socially constructed and liquid. Dena Rachman’a changing reinforces the notion that gender is only two, namely men and women.  Keywords: Transgender, Mass Media, Social Construction.

Abstract Recently, conversation on diversity and inclusion has been at the forefront in the media as well as the workplace. Though research has examined how diversity impacts organizational culture and decision-making, little attention has been given to how corporate diversity impacts consumers’ responses to the firm. This article establishes a link between diversity and the perceived morality of market actors. A series of studies demonstrate that greater diversity (racial, gender, or national) in a corporate team leads to perceptions of greater morality of the firm and its representatives and, as a consequence, results in more favorable consumer attitudes and behavior towards the firm. This positive effect arises because consumers perceive diverse teams as possessing higher perspective-taking abilities. Since marketplace morality is concerned with the greater good, we argue that higher perceptions of perspective-taking signal that the team will safeguard the broad interests of the community rather than serve narrow interest groups. The findings have broad implications since consumers are increasingly concerned with moral consumption. Our research suggests that diversity in the workforce is not only important for team performance and social equity but can shape consumers’ sentiments and behaviors towards the firm.

This study sets forth the post-1945 development and present status of Japanese constitutional and procedural law on court-mass media relations, while analyzing aspects of the interaction between law and sociopolitical thought and behavior. A recent and dramatic illustration of the issues is provided by the Hakata Station Film Case: A Fukuoka court'ssubpoena(August 29, 1969) for newsfilm taken during a student-police encounter occasioned conflict between Japan's mass media and courts; the dispute was resolved by a film seizure (March 4, 1970) three months after the Supreme Court had upheld thesubpoena'sconstitutionality. The media maintain that Article 21 of the Constitution (freedom of expression) gives them the right to determine when their used or unused television film or still photographs may be employed as court evidence, even in the absence of privileged communications. This and other court cases considered, arising from Japan's perennial demonstrations, illustrate a strong tendency toward in-group unanimity, new problems in news and evidence gathering, and the operation of a non-Western legal system influenced by Japanese, European, and American traditions.

ABSTRACT Pruritus vulvae is a disorder characterized by itching in the external genitals of women. Pruritus vulvae can be caused by bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge and behavior about menstrual vulva hygiene with the incidence of pruritus vulvae in adolescent girls. This research uses an observational research method with a cross-sectional approach. The population is all seventh-grade female teenagers at SMP Negeri 1 Sepulu Bangkalan with 98 people. Samples were obtained by 79 people who were determined by a simple random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Statistical tests using Lambda ρ ≤ 0.05. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge about vulva hygiene (p = 0.028 <α = 0.05) and behavior about vulva hygiene (p = 0.006 <α = 0.05) when menstruating with the incidence of vulvar pruritus in young women. For this reason, vulva hygiene behavior in young women must be improved because good vulva hygiene behavior will reduce the incidence of pruritus vulvae. keyword: Knowledge, Behavior, Hygiene Vulva, Menstruation, Pruritus vulvae
