The purpose of this research are: 1) to describe the learning activities of learners with the application of Learning Strategy of Improving Thinking Ability (SPPKB) at class VII SMPN 28 Padang academic year 2017/2018, and 2) to know the ability of mathematical connections of learners who were taught by Learning Strategy Improvement Thinking Ability (SPPKB) in class VII SMPN 28 Padang academic year 2017/2018. This type of research was a quasy-experiment with a Randomized Control only Group Design study. Data collection techniques were using observation sheets to see learners' activities and written tests to see the mathematical connections of learners. Based on the results showed that 1) the learning activities of the students increased with the average percentage (75%), (65%), (28%), (45%) and (77%). 2) the ability of mathematical connections of learners who were taught with SPPKB was higher than the ability of mathematical connections of learners who were not taught with SPPKB on class VII SMPN 28 Padang Lesson Year 2017/2018. <p>The purpose of the research to improve student learning activities in teaching and learnig activities with the implementation of Biology learning strategy <em>Think Talk Write </em>on Environmental Pollution material. This research is a classroom action research. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle  consisting of the  planning, observation, evaluation, analysis,  and reflection. Subjects  were  students  of class  XI  SMA  Al  Islam  1 Surakarta  academic  year 2009/2010. Source  of data  derived from  teacher  and  student  information,  observation,  and documentation. Techniques and tools of data collection is a questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Validate  data  using  triangulation techniques  of data  sources. Data  analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis. Research procedure is a spiral model of inter-related. The results showed that the application of learning strategies can improve  student  activities  in biology  learning  in class  X-1 SMA  Al  Islam  1 Surakarta 2009/2010 academic  year. Improved student  learning  activities  can be  viewed through a questionnaire and observation sheet. The average percentage based on observation of student activity  sheets  for 41.90% of pre  cycle, a  cycle  of 73.07% and 87.23%  for  cycle  2.Questionnaire  pre-cycle  calculation results  indicate  student  activity  at  70.49%, a  cycle  of 73.83%, and the second cycle result indicate that student activity of 77.96%.</p><p> </p><p class="0jTULISANKATAKUNCIKEYWORDS">Key Words: Think talk write learning strategy, student activity, biology learning.</p>

This research is done because the number of students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses semester II and IV academic year 2017 - 2018 have low nationalism.. This was seen from the results of tests that showed that there were still many students of the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017-2018 academic year who did not memorize the Pancasila and Indonesian Raya, and did not understand the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of the low sense of nationalism of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018 academic year and to find out the role of lecturers of PPKn courses in increasing the nationalism feeling of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018. This study uses a descriptive method of qualitative approach with data collection techniques using test techniques, observation and interviews. Subjects of this study are lecturers of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses and students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in second and fourth semester of academic year 2017 - 2018. The results of this study indicate that the role of the PPKn lecturer can increase the sense of nationalism of students in the PPKn UNBAJA courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017 - 2018 academic year, such as before the teaching and learning activities are conducted in class, the lecturer always instructed everyone to pray.

AbstrakKemampuan pemecahan masalah tidak lepas dari kegiatan belajar mengajar pada umumnya karena keberhasilan seseorang terhadap sesuatu yang dihadapi tidak lepas dari matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas IX di SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. Sampel pada penelitian ini di ambil secara acak yaitu peserta didik kelas IX.1 berjumlah 31 peserta didik yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 15 Palembang tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes berbentuk uraian materi bangun ruang (kubus dan balok). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dikategorikan rendah.  Analysis of Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability on Cubes and Blocks in Junior High SchoolAbstractThe ability to solve problems cannot be separated from teaching and learning activities in general because one's success in something that is faced cannot be separated from mathematics. This study aims to determine the mathematical Problem-solving abilities of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. The sample in this study was taken randomly. namely students of class IX.1, totaling 31 students which were conducted at SMP Negeri 15 Palembang for the 2019/2020 academic year. The data collection technique used test questions in the form of a description of the material (cubes and cuboids). The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. From the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the students' mathematical Problem-solving ability is categorized as low.

This study is based on the existence of learning activities that are less responsive to various individual characteristics. To meet these demands, teachers need to understand students' characteristic. If the teacher in delivering the lesson material less attention to the characteristics of the students and the personality traits of students is not used as a foothold in learning, students will have difficulty understanding the subject matter. Whatever efforts are chosen and performed by the teacher and the lesson designer if they are not based on individual characteristics of the student as subject of learning, then the developed learning will not be meaningful for the students. Characteristics of students is very important to know by educators, because it is very important to be a reference in formulating learning strategies. Learning strategy is developed by teachers and implemented through learning methods to the students so that the learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation in SDN Cikokol 2.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model in mathematics learning for VII grade students of SMP Negeri Selangit. This research is in the form of quasi-experimental. The population is all grade VII students of SMP Negeri Selangit in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 98 students and as a sample are class VII.3 students, amounting to 24 students. Data collection is done by test and non-test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the study showed the effectiveness of the Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model in mathematics learning with an average score of 74.44 with the percentage of students completing 79.17% of students' responses to learning in the good category with a percentage of 72.44 %, and student learning activities in the quite active category with a percentage of 28.45%.

The type of this research is Classroom Action Research aimed to improve students’ Motivation of Learning of Grade X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Bantul Academic Year of 2013/2014. The research is done in two cycles uses two kinds of data collection techniques, i.e. observation and questionnaire. The data collected was analyzed by qualitative analysis using three steps, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion formulation. The analysis is completed with descriptive quantitative analysis to calculate the score of Accounting Learning Motivation. Based on the research result, the implementation of Blended Learning Strategy facilitated with VARK Learning Style Model is able to improve students’ Accounting Motivation of Learning of the grade X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Bantl accounting academic year of 2013/2014. It is proven by the improvements of X AK 1’s  average score of Learning Motivation from 76,71% on the first cycle and reaches to 84,18% on the implementation of the second cycle. This improvement shows that using Blended Learning Strategy facilitated with VARK Learning Style Model, the students’ Motivation of Learning is increasing classically, without any domination from a few of students of the class. The purpose of this research was to know the improvement of students’ learning outcomes of Indonesian subject in class IIB SD Undiksha Laboratory academic year 2017/2018 after applying model picture and picture assisted with audio visual media. The present research was a classroom action research held in 2 cycles. Every cycle consisted of the planning stages, the implementation, observation and evaluation and reflection. Methods used in collecting the data in this research was administering observation and test. In the first cycle, the average percentage of learning outcomes obtained was 82.67% and the average score of learning activities was 73.50 in which categorized as active, and teacher’s activity was categorized good with a score of 73.50. In second cycle data of learning result and activity of student and teacher had increased with 90,11% of average percentage of learning result and categorized very high, and students’ activity average score was 81,00 in which categorized active, teacher’s activity was categorized good with score equal to 81.00. Thus, it could be concluded that the application of picture and picture model assisted with audio-visual media could improve the students’ learning outcomes of Indonesian subject in class IIB SD Undiksha Laboratory academic year 2017/2018.

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning modelof exampling type toward learning achievement for the fourth graders of SD N 1 Tinggarjaya in Civic EducationThe subject on the topic of Globalization. This is an experimental design with Randomized control group pretest-posttest research design. The subject of the research was the student off for the Fourth Graders of SD N 1Tinggarjaya academic year 2014/2015 consisting of 32 students of class IVA as control, class and 33 students ofclass IVB as an experimental class. The technique of the data collection was by posttest in the form of filling short answer and statement with 10 items., while for the student’s responsibility technique, it used the questionnaire technique. The data had been gained were then analyzed to test a hypothesis by using the formula of the t-test. Based on the result of the research, it was found that the application of VCT learning model exampling type affected on learning achievement for the fourth graders of SD N 1 Tinggarjaya in Civics Education Subject on the topic of Globalization.

The low level of activeness of class X science students in the study of moral code in MA Ibnul Qoyyim Putra, because the learning activities carried out by the teacher has not been fully student-centered, ie do not apply various strategies in learning or monotonous so that students are less active in learning, therefore, it is necessary to improve the learning of the Morals by using learning strategies that make students active and enthusiastic in learning by implementing the Jigsaw strategy on the Morals so that student activity can be improved for the better. This research is a Classroom Action Research, aimed to find out how the application of the Jigsaw strategy in increasing the activeness of Class X science students in the subjects of Islamic Morals. This research method uses the Jigsaw strategy in the study of the Morals to increase the activeness of students in class X science. The subjects of this study were the 23rd-grade students of MA Natural Science Ibnul Qoyyim Putra in the academic year 2017/2018. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Then the validity of the data is tested by using triangulation. The results obtained were that the Pre Cycle Percentage was 31.98%, then the Cycle I Percentage was 49.98% and the Cycle II percentage was 78.17%, so the conclusion of this study was based on data obtained that the application of the Jigsaw strategy could increase student activity. Abstrak Rendahnya keaktifan siswa kelas X IPA dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MA Ibnul Qoyyim Putra, dikarenakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru belum sepenuhnya berpusat pada siswa, yakni tidak menerapkan berbagai strategi dalam pembelajaran atau monoton sehingga siswa kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran tersebut, oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang menjadikan siswa aktif dan antusias didalam pembelajaran yaitu dengan menerapkan strategi Jigsaw pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak sehingga keaktifan siswa  dapat meningkat menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas, bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan strategi Jigsaw dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas X IPA pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan strategi Jigsaw dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak untuk meingkatkan keaktifan siswa di kelas X IPA. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA MA Ibnul Qoyyim Putra tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 23 siswa. Teknik  pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian diuji keabsahan datanya dengan menggunakan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah bahwa prosentase Pra Siklus 31,98%, kemudian Prosentase Siklus I 49,98% dan prosentase Siklus II 78,17%, sehingga kesimpulan penelitian ini berdasarkan data yang didapatkan bahwa penerapan strategi Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Kata kunci: Akidah Akhlak, Jigsaw, Keaktifan Siswa.

The background this research is the low learning activity of students, especially in questioning skills in the learning process. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in the learning activities of students after applying the question student have method. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The sample of this research was the fourth grade students of the 2018/2019 academic year with 20 students. This research was completed in 2 cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collection instruments used were observation and documentation. The results showed that using the question student have method can improve the learning activities of students in mathematics in fourth grade of Elementary School Pahlawan. The activity level of students before the question student have method was applied was 54.28% in the low category. After applying the question student have method in Cycle I, there was an increase of 61.07% in the middle category, and in Cycle II there was an increase of 80.72% in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the question student have method can improve the learning activities of students in mathematics.
