Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pondok pesantren At Taubah di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas II B Cianjur mengenai pembinaan Akhlak Narapidana. Dengan memahami perencanaan program dan pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak narapidana. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Peran pesantren At Taubah yang berada di LAPAS Klas II B Cianjur dalam membina akhlak narapidana yaitu memberikan sumbangsih besar terhadap pembinaan yang secara umum merupakan tugas dari Lembaga Pemasyarakatan. Hal ini terlihat dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh pesantren yang begitu terorganisir.   This study aims to determine the role of the At Taubah Islamic boarding school in Cianjur Class II B Correctional Institution regarding the Moral Guidance of Prisoners. By understanding program planning and the implementation of moral guidance for prisoners. This research uses a descriptive method. The results showed that the role of the At Taubah Islamic Boarding School in the Class II B Classroom in Cianjur in building up the morals of prisoners is to contribute greatly to coaching which is generally the task of the Penitentiary. This can be seen from the activities carried out by pesantren that are so organized.

The objective of the study was to analyze the role of islamic boarding school in preventing radicalism in Rejang Lebong regency. The study used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection was done though interview, documentation and observation. The result showed that in playing the role, islamic boarding school recently became the target of people's distrust: this was the place of radicalism and terrorism. According to the analysis, there was no school found as the place of radicalism and terrorism. Some schools even actively prevent radicalism and terrorism effectively. In conclusion, the role of islamic boarding schools in Rejang Lebong to prevent radicalism and terrorism through the tight control was effective. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran (Wilayah pengaruh), peran pimpinan dalam mengarahkan program, serta peran pimpinan dalam mengawasi program kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dakwah santri di Pondok Pesantren Cipari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode deskriptif, melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Peran pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Cipari dalam mengarahkan proses pendidikan guna meningkatkan kualitas dakwah santri terus dikembangkan, hal tersebut terlihat dari terus berjalannya kegiatan-kegiatan para santri untuk menunjang kemampuan dalam berdakwah dan hal tersebut tercermin dalam salah-satu kegiatan pondok pesantren yaitu muhadharah yang rutin dijalankan setiap minggunya. Peran pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Cipari dalam mengarahkan program terlihat pada proses pengorganisasian yang menghasilkan sebuah rumusan struktur organisasi dan pendelegasian wewenang dan tanggung jawab, pola yang dibangun sangat khas, musyawarah untuk mufakat selain pemimpin pun menjalankan fungsinya sebagai penentu kebijakan. Proses pengawasan yang biasa dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Cipari dengan mengambil jalannya pelaksanaan kegiatan, mengukur keberhasilan dan kegagalannya dengan standar sebagaimana yang telah di tetapkan. The role of the leadership of Pondok Pesantren Cipari in directing the program is seen in the organizing process which resulted in a formulation of organizational structure and delegation of authority and responsibility, a pattern that is built very distinctive, deliberation to consensus other than the leader also performs its function as a policy maker. The usual surveillance process at Pondok Pesantren Cipari by taking the course of the implementation of the activity, measuring its success and failure with the standard as it has been set.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode yang digunakan pimpinan pesantren, untuk mengetahui program-program dan bentuk peran pimpinan pesantren dalam pengembangan dakwah di Pesantren. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada sebuah teori hasibuan bahwa kepemimpinan merupakan intisari manajemen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode deskriftip karena metode ini dipandang relevan untuk menggali dan menganalisis fenomena empiris yang terjadi dijaman sekarang. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dalam analisis datanya menggunakan jenis analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa dalam mengembangkan dakwah di Pondok Pesantren KH Muhammad Ridwan mengambil keputusan dengan metode yang tidak lepas dari standar dakwah, memperhatikan lingkungan dan kemampuan dewan kiai atau dewan guru, menjalankan program-program yang telah direncanakan dengan objek yang menyeluruh.  Bentuk peran yang di gunakan sebagai pimpinan semuanya sesuai dengan kondisi para santri guru dan masyarakat. Hal demikian di pandang mampu dalam pengembangan dakwah dipesantren dengan peran pemimpin sebagai individu terbaik bagi kelompoknya, sebagai tauladan bagi anggota dalam oraganisasinya dan sebagai pemimpin imformal di Pesantren dan di lingkungan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Peran; Kepemimpinan; Pesantren ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine how the methods used by leaders of pesantren, to find out the programs and forms of role of leaders of pesantren in developing da'wah in Pesantren. This research is based on a theory of fate that leadership is the essence of management. The method used in this study is to use a descriptive method because this method is considered relevant to explore and analyze empirical phenomena that occur today. The research technique used is observations, interviews, documentation, in the analysis of data using qualitative data analysis types. The results of research conducted show that in developing da'wah at the Islamic Boarding School KH Muhammad Ridwan took decisions with methods that can not be separated from the standards of preaching, pay attention to the environment and the ability of the kiai council or teacher council, run programs that have been planned with a comprehensive object. The forms of roles used as leaders are all in accordance with the conditions of the students, teachers and the community. This is seen as being able to develop da'wah in the pesantren with the role of the leader as the best individual for the group, as a role model for members in their organizations and as an informal leader in the pesantren and in the community. This study aims to determine the physical fitness condition of students in the Darul Huda Mayak Islamic boarding school, Ponorogo. This research uses descriptive method with survey research. The selected sample was 150 students with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) instrument. Analysis of the data used is in the form of descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate: the 50m run value in the Excellent category is 62.67% with frequency of 94 students. The hanging up value in the Less category is 20.67% with frequency of 31 students. The Sit up value in the Moderate category is 36.67% with frequency of 55 students. The vertical jump value in the Less category is 62.00% with frequency of 93 students. The 1000 m run value in the Less category is 53.33% with frequency of 80 students. The TKJI score in the Medium category is 67.33% with frequency of 101 students.

Prisons in Indonesia are often described as a very terrible place and even there is no good side to be proud of. The case occurred recently has worsen the image of prison,where the head of Kalianda Prison was arrested by the Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP) for his involvement in illegal drugs that were traded in prison. This condition is very contrary to the condition at the Semarang Class II Women's Correctional Institution. The success of Semarang Class II Women's Correctional Institution in suppressing illegal levies cannot be separated from the leadership role of the head of the prison. The presence of a leader greatly affects the integrity of employees in his ranks. The Semarang Class II Women's Correctional Institution is the only one of the 611 Correctional Institutions (Technical Implementation Unit) which bears the title of Corruption-Free Area in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to describe how the leadership of  the Head of Semarang Class II Women's Correctional Institution as a role model in achieving zero illegal levies using qualitative descriptive methods through field observations and in-depth interviews with structural officials, officials and inmates as informants.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebijakan pemimpin pondok pesantren Nurul Amanah dalam upaya meningkatkan life skill santri, untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan life skill santri yang ada di pondok pesantren Nurul Amanah. Ketia, untuk mengetahui pengawasan pemimpin pondok pesantren Nurul Amanah tehadap pelaksanaan kegiatan life skill santri. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif karena tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan atau memaparkan penjelasan tentang peran pemimpin pondok pesantren Nurul Amanah dalam upaya meningkatkan life skill santri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan proses megumpulkan data, diklasifikasikan menurut jenisnya masing-masing serta hubungkan data satu dengan data yang lain, di analisis dan terakhir menarik kesimpulan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif karena tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan atau memaparkan penjelasan tentang peran pemimpin pondok pesantren Nurul Amanah dalam upaya meningkatkan life skill santri. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of Islamic boarding schools and boarding houses in the moral formation of a student, efforts to instill good character towards students, and to supervise students in social interaction and social interaction. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation as supporting data. The analysis technique is performed by data reduction, data presentation, data validity by triangulation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study 1) the pattern of moral development of students at the Al-Mustajib Madarijul 'Ulum Islamic boarding school, namely by various methods including: Uswah method (exemplary), moral habituation method, ethical method, bandungan method, and language method, 2) strategic role of Islamic boarding schools Al-Mustajib madarijul in an effort to form morals, including through effective programs such as: carrying out muhadoroh activities where students learn to give speeches or preach, carry out prayers five times in congregation, carry out night prayers, and memorize the Al-Qur'an and read the yellow book, 3 ) The experience gained at the Al Mustajib Madarijul 'Ulum Islamic boarding school is the basis for how they practice moral knowledge in their daily life, both in terms of speaking, dressing and socializing. The experience gained at the boarding house wisma jaya is implemented with social skills such as dressing with covering your genitals and socializing in an Islamic manner by paying attention to the ethics and norms that apply in society.

Character education in Islam has existed since Prophet Muhammad’s period. “Pesantren” or Islamic boarding school is a place of character building in obedience to “Kaffah” Islamic teachings. The character education in schools here means, a process of building good character or Akhlakul Karimah by presenting education model of pesantren but realized in formal institutions. It is deemed as solution for children who do hesitate to have boarding school education because of several reasons. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education management in senior high schools around boarding schools environment located in Banyumas, Central Java. The approach used in this research is a qualitative with descriptive method. The character education in Banyumas has implemented four modern management functions in a proportional way by upholding the tutor role of Pesantren.. The cooperation has been running simultaneously and run conventionally, while still adhering the management principles even need a various ongoing renewal efforts.

The development of the economic potential of Islamic boarding schools can have a positive impact on improving the national economy. As an educational institution, Islamic boarding schools have the potential of human resources which are also large for high fighting ability, which supports accompanied by capabilities that become a great potential that can become the basis of Indonesia's new economic flows through strengthening boarding schools (kopontren). This paper aims to examine the ecosystems in Islamic boarding schools which have to do with changes in the lifestyle of its members to apply halal values. The research using this qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the analysis, the role of kopontren as the driving force of the boarding school is an important diversion as a determinant of how to turn on the halal value chain in every part of the environment in the Islamic boarding school ecosystem with halal values in production, distribution for consumption needs goods or services.
