The article discusses the feasibility of using computer test technologies to monitor student learning in a technical college. The main purpose of the federal state educational standards is the result of the educational process. The effectiveness of education is considered not as a set of knowledge and skills acquired by students from different academic disciplines, but as the ability of a learner to apply knowledge and skills in practical professional activities, as the formation by students of certain competencies. In assessing educational results, it is necessary to analyze the levels of education that have been achieved by students at a certain stage of study. Along with the traditional methods of assessing students learning of educational material for current and mid-term monitoring of academic achievement, it is advisable to use test technologies to form students' knowledge component of competences. The article discusses the advantages, place and limitations of test methods in the system of control and assessment of the formation of students' competencies. The use of test tasks for technical disciplines in order to assess the formation of basic concepts of the discipline among students, assimilation by students of educational material is very effective and useful. But to evaluate the student's ability to concretize his answer with examples, the ability to logically and convincingly express his thoughts, analyze the depth of knowledge and practical skills of solving the student's problems using test techniques are unlikely to work. Despite these shortcomings of testing as a method of pedagogical control, its positive aspects (efficiency, objectivity, systematic conducting, teaching testing function, computer implementation of testing) make this form of knowledge diagnostics a promising direction for the development of pedagogical measurements in the system of training qualified personnel of various levels in the construction industry.

The article deals with one of the directions of educational practice — practice-oriented training. In the implementation of practice-oriented training in modern education can help institutions of additional education, because they have a high adaptation to changes in society, quickly respond to individual educational and other needs of children, and most importantly, unlike regulated school education, offer the freedom to choose programs, directions of training, education and development. New requirements for the organization of the educational process in the system of additional education was a prerequisite for the development of a model of formation of universal educational actions on the basis of Children’s Ecological and Biological Center of Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai. When creating the model, we took into account that the educational activity of the Children’s Ecological and Biological Center is based on a system-activity approach, which will ensure: the formation of readiness for self-development and continuous education, design and construction of the social environment of students in the education system, active educational and cognitive activity of students, construction of the educational process taking into account the individual age, psychological and physiological characteristics of students. The proposed model can be implemented in all institutions of additional education of natural Sciences.

The implementation of the requirements of the federal state educational standards of primary general, basic general and secondary general education makes its ownadjustments to the educational process. Today, the formation of metasubject skills, universal educational actions that allow modern schoolchildren to quickly adapt to changing conditions, is becoming valuable. One of these skills is to find, interpret, and evaluate information. An analysis of international studies such as PISA shows that the formation of reading competence among Russian fifteen-year-olds is low. This is due to the fact that schools have weak systematic work with information (for example, there is no work with electronic texts or there is work only with solid texts). To this can be added the disunity of school subjects: each teacher in their professional activities uses their own set of methods and techniques to form the reading literacy of students. The search for technologies and teaching methods aimed at consolidating the efforts of teachers of different academic subjects led to the development of the «Single Text Day» technology and to the «Single Text Day» campaign, the features of which are described in this article. The main goal of the Campaign is the formation and development of schoolchildren’s reading literacy. The article consistently reveals the stages of preparation for the Day of a single Text: from the list of planned results, the description of the subtleties in the selection of the text to the features of the final work to the ways of adapting ready-made materials. It also analyzes the perception of the Day of a single Text by students and teachers who participated in the Campaign.

Due to the introduction and implementation of the requirements of the third-generation Federal State Educational Standards, the importance of students' involvement in research activities during their studies has increased. Currently, special importance in the higher education system is given to the issues related to the organization of such work with students. Having mastered the principal educational program, graduates should be ready to carry out professional activities in the field of applied research, as well as to solve various research tasks. To do this, the graduates must have a certain set of competencies, formed in various ways and methods in the course of professional training. One of the best ways to form competencies both in the field of future profession and research activities is professionally-oriented tasks. As a rule, such tasks are offered to students starting from the first year. Gradually, the level of complexity of the tasks increases, and to solve such tasks, senior-year students need knowledge across multiple disciplines. The article presents a list of academic disciplines, whose study using various forms can train and develop various competencies, including research ones. Universities regularly involve students in research work. However, at present, an appropriate pedagogically sound system of continuous involvement of students in this work is required.

The latest changes made by the state to the content of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher and Secondary Education reflect the increased attention paid to the educational component of the unified educational and training process implemented by all educational organizations in the territory of the Russian Federation. Planning and implementation of educational impact on students has now become an independent element of the educational process. We believe that a purposeful process of educational activity is unthinkable without such a basic element as patriotic education. This study is devoted to the peculiarities of the processes of organization and practical implementation of patriotic education of persons studying at universities and educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Today, Russia is actively working to introduce the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3++ (FSES HO 3++) into the educational process. At the same time, it is assumed that these higher education standards will contribute to improving the quality of training students of domestic universities for professional activities in domestic organizations. However, as practice shows, the continuous improvement of FSES HO, according to the Bachelor-Master system, does not solve the key problems associated with the training of professionals demanded by domestic organizations, who should be trained by the universities. This paper shows the problems associated with the formation of professional competencies among students of domestic universities in the implementation of FSES HO 3++, as well as possible ways to solve them and to improve the quality of training students as future professionals for domestic organizations. At the same time, all proposals are based on the practical experience of the authors and scientific analysis of existing problems, as well as feedback from employers justifying their requirements for graduates of domestic universities from the standpoint of the needs of organizations in the young professional staff they need, which allows them to successfully solve the issues of timely provision of the required level of competitiveness.

The problems of control and evaluation of higher education quality (training of highly qualified staff) are under consideration. Quality in the training of post graduate students, certainly, depends upon curriculum quality. Thereupon there are considered systems of indices and criteria with the aid of which one can define the degree of results achieved in this field in an educational institution. Such a circuit provides 7 indic-es and 37 criteria. For each criterion there is shown the totality of documents and materials confirming their fulfillment. The subjects of curricula control and assessment are, in particular: the curriculum structure, the results of its mastering by students; the conditions of curricula realization in an educational institution, their regulatory, procedural, resource, personnel and financial support. That is, the degree of curricula correspondence to the requirements of Federal State Educational Standards is defined and also to the requirements of a physical and legal person in the interests of which the educational activity is carried out. In this connection the introduction in practice of regulatory-documentation support of curricula state accreditation (a list of essential documents is shown) is significant. The educational process organization in accor-dance with the principles under consideration, no doubt, will allow improving highly qualified staff train-ing.

The article examines the problems of approaches to teaching humanitarian subjects at school. We also consider the history of creating a systematic approach to learning and activity. In connection with the social introduction of the new Federal State Educational Standard (GEF), the system-activity approach aimed at the development of the individual, on the formation of a particular identity, philosophically based on the provision of correspondence of the educational activity of students of their age category. The task – the formation of knowledge in accordance with the new standards stands before the teachers. The very system-activity approach is the formation of the educational process, in which an important place is given to active and versatile employment of the student.
