The interdisciplinary approach has risen in the modern curricula as it is considered an important and challenging technique. Physical education is a prime content area for interdisciplinary learning. In order to integrate different subject areas into Physical Education lessons, the specialist needs to learn more about the academic curriculum. Integrating core subjects with physical activity can easily be done and can be very beneficial to student learners in all levels of Education. A great effort is done in addition to be integrated with other subjects. Over the last twenty years there have been frequent internal changes at international level, which also affect pre-school curricula. This trend has been intensified in recent years, with unprecedented mobility being observed, to the point of demanding a fundamental reform of the educational mission of the kindergarten.  An interdisciplinary approach has been at the core of attention in primary and secondary school education recently.In this approach, teachers collaborate to invent and apply more effective means of teaching by associating the subjects and activities of a school subject in the curriculum with other subjects. The basic aim and purpose is to cultivate skills and values such as cooperatives, flexibility, adaptability, solidarity, but above all to provide basic knowledge, exploration, classification, selection, evaluation, resolution, and observation.

<p class="resumoabstract">Acidentes e fatalidades podem acontecer desde simples contusões até as mais urgentes hemorragias e parada cardiorrespiratória. Os primeiros socorros realizados de forma adequada podem minimizar os agravos e até mesmo salvar vidas. No âmbito escolar, situações de emergência fazem parte do cotidiano e é essencial que Professores de Educação Física tenham um conhecimento básico para atender as necessidades escolares. O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar o conhecimento dos Professores de Educação Física (EF) da rede pública de Ensino da Cidade de Santa Cecilia-SC com relação aos Primeiros Socorros (PS). Caracterizou-se em natureza descritiva, transversal, com análise quanti-qualitativa dos dados. Participaram do estudo 11 Professores de EF. Para a coleta de dados, foi desenvolvido um questionário abordando aspectos conceituais, procedimentos e atitudes referentes ao cotidiano profissional. Do total, apenas um professor não teve a disciplina de PS na graduação. Os professores na sua minoria se sentem aptos a prestar os PS e inclusive assumir as situações, demonstrando conhecimento satisfatório na teoria, mas na prática sentem-se inseguros para agir diante de situações mais graves. Destaca-se que mais de 80% sabem como agir em atendimentos menos agravantes. Já nas situações de parada cardiorrespiratória (RCP) e hemorragias, os mesmos relataram que necessitam de um treinamento mais atualizado. Em crianças principalmente eles não sentem muito seguros em prover o auxílio. Foi possível concluir que os professores de EF apresentaram um nível de conhecimento satisfatório na teoria, mas sugerem atualizações periódicas em forma de cursos.</p><p class="resumoabstract"><strong>Palavras-chave</strong>: Primeiros Socorros. Educação Física e Treinamento.</p><h3>ABSTRACT</h3><p class="resumoabstract">Accidents and fatalities can occur from simple bruises to the most urgent hemorrhages and cardiopulmonary arrest. First aid performed properly can minimize the aggravations and even save lives. In the school context, emergency situations are part of the daily life and it is essential that Physical Education Teachers have a basic knowledge to carry out the school needs. This study verified the Physical Education (PE) Teachers knowledge from Santa Cecilia-SC public teaching related to first aid. It featured in descriptive nature, transversal, with quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data. Eleven PE teachers participated of the study. For the data collection, it was developed a questionnaire addressing conceptual aspects, procedures and attitudes concerning professional daily life. From the total, only one teacher did not have the first aid subject at the college. Teachers in their minority feel able to provide the first aid and even take on the situations, showing satisfactory theory knowledge, however in real life they feel insecure to act on before serious situations. It points out that more than 80% know how to act before less aggravating calls. Nonetheless, during cardiopulmonary arrest (CPR) and hemorrhages, they reported the need of an updated training. Mainly in children, they do not feel safe to provide the aid. It was possible to conclude that Physical Education Teachers showed a satisfactory level of knowledge in theory, however it suggest courses periodic updates.</p><p class="resumoabstract"><strong>Keywords</strong>: First Aid. The purpose of this study was to illuminate the experiences and understandings of adaptive physical education (APE) teachers in their implementation of the newly introduced K-13 curriculum in special needs schools (SLB) in Indonesia. This research is a replication of previous research (Sigid XXABSTRACT Setiawan, 2018) conducted with primary school physical education (PE) teachers. Twenty-six APE teachers aged 28-39 years (X = 34.04, SD = 3.46) who worked with various disabilities in SLB were involved as participants. Data collected were observations, interviews, and documentation working within a phenomenological framework. Results indicated that teachers’ experiences of the K-13 implementation were focused on (1) the acquisition of basic knowledge and competence, (2) the adoption of the scientific approach, (3) the use of authentic assessment, and (4) awareness of the supporting and inhibiting factors. The understandings arising from these experiences were that: (1) the required knowledge of APE SLB teachers could be found within the supporting government publications; (2) the scientific approach placed systematic student problem solving at its core, and; (3) authentic assessment involves a comprehensive focus on the learning and development of skills, attitudes and knowledge. A comparison of these findings with those of the primary teacher study showed that some of the additional understandings revealed by the Adapted PE teachers reflected some of the specific demands and challenges facing teachers in the context of special needs education. This research should serve as a reference for novice teachers in emphasizing that good K-13 curriculum learning at all levels must involve preparation for its implementation and its assessment. Recommendations for the value of ongoing research of this nature with a broader cohort of teachers are made.

Traditionally, the problem of muscle spasticity was considered by experts as a kind of local problem associated with the inhibition or traumatisation of the central motor neuron in a certain part of its path. According to this approach, only the first stage of the causal relationship of the two systems was reflected: the nervous and the muscular systems. In the following, intrasystem relations of the muscle and muscle complex appeared according to the type of harmonization or destructivization of the activity of this system. To resolve this problematic situation, the article examines the original theory of Thomas V. Myers about “anatomical trains” or “myofascial meridians” as an integral musculoskeletal system of the human body, which forms the basis of its anatomy and motor activity. Key ideas of tensegrity as a structure of balanced compression-tension of the musculoskeletal system are identified, and it is necessary to rush to the targets, carrying out the correction of motor disorders of the tender age children with paresis of central type by means of physical education. For deeper understanding of the activities of these mechanisms of children myofascial status harmonization, the main myofascial lines were briefly characterized: surface back line, surface frontal line, lateral line, spiral line, arm lines. On this basis, working hypothesis was formulated as for using the holistic myofascial system capabilities of the child’s body to correct both the tonic state of individual spastic muscles and to improve the general children motor status. To check the formulated hypothesis, the directions of the implementation of correctively directed physical education of tender age children with central paresis of different localization levels were indicated. An attempt was made to use the basic knowledge of the myofascial meridians functioning to increase the efficiency of diagnosing the state of musculoskeletal formations of children with spastic paresis, developing strategies and tactics for correcting their tonic state, methods and techniques for adjusting the balance of compression and tension of these structures to improve children motor activity and to improve the efficiency of their basic motor regimes mastering. There was made a fundamental conclusion that the correctional work by means of physical education should be preceded by preparatory work aimed at normalization of the whole myofascial system of a child with a spastic type of movement disorders, which can be carried out using purely medical techniques and the techniques based on the means of children physical education. Prospects of the scientific and practical development of the problem indicated in this article are highlighted separately.

Sports games are one of the most effective means for involvement of student youth in exercises and sports, increase their physical activity, which contributes to strengthening their health and motivation to engage in physical education and sports. Sports games contribute to the intensification of the process of development of motor skills of students and improve their psycho-emotional state. The article examines the influence of sports games on the psychophysical state of students. The study was conducted at the National Dragomanov Pedagogical University. The test involved 72 students, including 36 students engaged in various sport games (football, basketball, volleyball), and 36 students who attended scheduled physical education classes and did not additionally play sports. The psychophysical state of students was assessed according to the SAN method and indicators of body mass index, vital index, strength index, Robinson index. It was confirmed that sports games have a positive effect on physical development, functional and psycho-emotional states of students: students who were engaged in sport games at the end of the study had better indicators than students who attended scheduled physical education classes. The high level of indicators of psychophysical state of students will help to improve the success of mastering academic disciplines in the educational process, will provide preparation for active life and will improve their future professional activity.

Abstract The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (crc) is the most ratified human rights treaty. In this article, three intimately connected concepts will be explored in relation to the framework of the State Party reporting mechanism related to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child: physical education, physical activity and sport (pepas). A documentary analysis of three key document types from the Treaty Body reporting mechanisms was undertaken, including State Parties Reports (n = 104), List of Issues (n = 126) and Concerns/Observations and Recommendations (n = 797). There was a very low prevalence of the concepts of physical education, physical activity and, to a greater extent, sport, in these three reports. Seven themes emerged after the qualitative analysis: sport programmes, school-based sport, legislation and policies, key agents, interdisciplinary approach, enablers of sport and miscellaneous. Increased questioning of States with regards to their implementation of the right to sport, the issuance of pepas-based recommendations and guidance on how to achieve these rights from the Treaty Bodies would assist in solidifying understanding of sport as a human right and increase the impetus on States to act for pepas provision.

The base of the quality improvement of higher education in the Russian Federation is in modern approaches to the education and upbringing of student youth. This provision also applies to physical education and sports. The modern requirements of the federal standard for the training process in the discipline “Physical Education and Sports” do not specify the means and methods of their implementation. This poses the problem for the teacher of a higher school to find accessible and effective means and methods of physical education of student youth, as well as to improve the elective environment of physical education. Purpose . Consideration and identification of distinctive features of elective disciplines in the field of physical education and sports, mechanisms for their organization and implementation at the modern stage of the development of higher education. Materials and methods . We analyzed the mandatory requirements for the implementation of educational programs of higher education, presented in the federal state educational standard of the third generation. Main results . We presented the pedagogical model of sports-oriented physical education in the organization of higher education and indicated the basic vectors of implementation of elective disciplines and the process of monitoring and accounting of student performance in elective disciplines. Conclusions . The elective environment of physical education is a set of subject-spatial, information-technological and socio-interactive conditions and opportunities created by the organization of higher education for the implementation of the student's individual educational route and its self-realization through physical education and sports. A necessary part of the process of physical training in the organization of higher education is the monitoring and accounting of student performance in elective disciplines.

AbstractSince the first years of high school instruction in the Principality of Serbia, various Ministers of Education, principals and first gymnastics teachers had been thinking about physical education instruction. Better political, economic and cultural situation in Serbia together with the influences and ideas arriving from culturally developed European countries gave rise to several initiatives related to physical education instruction which were introduced into high school curricula.Persons with different qualification levels were engaged as physical education teachers (gymnastics teachers) and they remained at that position for a few years. The aim of the paper was to establish who the PE teachers were in High School of Užice since its establishment until the beginning of the First World War (1839-1914). Historical method was used in this paper.From 1839 until 1878 there were no organized physical education classes (physical exercise and gymnastics) because the first teachers in this school were not interested, or experienced about this type of instruction. By the written approval, the Minister of Education appointed in September 1878 the first gymnastics teacher Steva Trifunović, teacher of painting and calligraphy. In the next period the classes used to be realized by teachers of Serbian language, geometry and algebra, geography or officers and sometimes even all other homeroom teachers.Regardless the fact that those were all people who had acquired basic knowledge on physical exercising in military schools or in gymnastic societies, it was still not enough for professional work in PE education and its further promotion.The solution to the problem was initiated only in 1910. when Josef Jehlička came, at the invitation of the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Serbia, together with a group of Czeck Sokol leaders who had been sent to work in High School of Užice and improved quality of physical education classes in that school thanks to his professional competence. That led to the conditions for the PE classes in High School of Užice to become more significant in the system of general education of students.

The quality of training of medical specialists is laid down during training at a medical university, where basic knowledge and the ability to manipulate them are laid, and, on the basis of the acquired competencies, to form practical skills. The issues of tuberculosis infection occupy a significant part in the work of a pediatrician. First of all, these are the issues of screening the child population for tuberculosis, early detection and specific prevention of tuberculosis. For the effective preparation of students of the pediatric faculty, it is necessary to lay theoretical knowledge in the program, to form practical skills and abilities. Since the detection of tuberculosis patients is carried out in medical institutions of the general pediatric network, it is necessary to master professional competencies. The preparation of students within the framework of the basic specialty "phthisiology" has its own nuances due to the specifics of medical education, the diversity of tuberculosis infection, the peculiarities of the organization and provision of anti-tuberculosis care to the child population. Training in the specialty "phthisiology" requires a large amount of special knowledge, skills, improvement of the interdisciplinary approach, in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standard. The article provides an analysis of the ongoing training system for students of the pediatric institute in the online system, presents the experience of the department in teaching students during the period of distance education during the spread of a new coronavirus infection. The assessment of the results of practical training among 6th year students of the pediatric faculty (n = 123). It was revealed that it is not always possible to predict in advance the degree of understanding of the educational material, and even the depth of understanding the questions in the test problems. The use of scientific evidence-based statistical methods for evaluating test items helps in optimizing and objectifying knowledge control and understanding the educational material.

O objetivo do estudo foi investigar informações de profissionais de Educação Física sobre a prescrição de exercício físico para portadores de condromalácia patelar. Trata-se de um estudo transversal. A amostra foi composta por 50 profissionais de Educação Física, atuantes em salas de musculação de academias no município Maringá - PR. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de um questionário semiestruturado pelos próprios autores, composto por questões referentes a dados sociodemográficos, conhecimento clínico sobre condromalácia patelar e sobre exercícios físicos para portadores da doença. A análise foi realizada mediante uma abordagem de estatística descritiva. Para a apresentação dos resultados, foi utilizado frequência e percentual para as variáveis categóricas e, média e desvio-padrão para as variáveis numéricas. Dos profissionais participantes, prevaleceu egressos de instituição privada do sexo feminino (64%) com idade de 26 a 30 anos (46%). A maioria dos profissionais tinha se formado há 5 anos (86%), não cursou outra graduação (86%) ou especialização (74%), tiveram algum conteúdo sobre condromalácia patelar durante a graduação (54%), foi apontada como uma patologia do joelho (82%), sendo o músculo quadríceps femoral o principal músculo envolvido na patologia (78%), e 80% dos participantes reconheceram as fibras oblíquas do músculo vasto medial têm como medializadora da patela. Grande parte dos profissionais de Educação Física que atuam nas salas de musculação das academias do município de Maringá, relataram ter tido na graduação informações sobre condromalácia patelar, possuem conhecimento básico da patologia e dos cuidados que ela exige.ABSTRACT. Information of professionals of physical education in program of physical exercises for individuals with patelar condromalácia. The aim of this study was to investigate information from Physical Education professionals about the prescription of physical exercise for patients with patellar chondromalacia. This is a cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 50 Physical Education professionals, who worked in gym rooms in Maringá - PR. Data collection was performed through a questionnaire semi-structured by the authors, consisting of questions regarding sociodemographic data, clinical knowledge about patellar chondromalacia and about physical exercises for patients with the disease. The analysis was performed using a descriptive statistics approach. For the presentation of the results, frequency and percentage were used for the categorical variables and, mean and standard deviation for the numerical variables. Of the professionals participating, there was a prevalence of female students (64%) aged 26 to 30 years (46%). Most of the professionals had graduated 5 years (86%), did not attend another undergraduate (86%) or specialization (74%), had some content on patellar chondromalacia during graduation (54%), was knee (82%), the quadriceps femoris muscle being the main muscle involved in the pathology (78%), and 80% of the participants recognized the oblique fibers of the vastus medialis muscle as mediating the patella. Most of the Physical Education professionals who work in the gymnasium rooms of the municipalities of Maringá, reported having undergraduate information about chondromalacia patelar, have basic knowledge of the pathology and the care it requires.
