The current industrial development is getting more advanced and developing every year. The business world, including the industry, is increasingly competitive and is making the best of efforts to optimally utilize all resources, including utilizing human resources. However, efforts to optimize and utilize resources have an impact on humans or workers, namely job stress. Work stress on workers that occurs when daily data in the work environment exceeds the worker's ability to cope with or control work stress so that it will improve mental and physical workers. The general objective of this research is to analyze the effect of stress on the incidence of work accidents in one of the plywood industries in the rotary section in Jember Regency. This research is a quantitative study using an analytic observational research design with a cross sectional method. The population includes all the plywood industry workers in PT. X, Jember district, rotary part of 339 workers, with a sample size of 76 people. The sampling technique used in this study was quota random sampling with a multivariate analysis process. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained from the P value that there was no significant effect between work stress and the incidence of work accidents that occurred in the rotary section at PT. X in Jember. This is possible because the workers’ stress level is still in the medium category, and they can still cope with the stress they experience. The research objective was to analyze the environmental sanitation and behavior of food handlers with the vector density of cockroaches in the Dumai Port canteen. It is an observational research with cross sectional method and quantitative data type. The research location was at the Port of Dumai canteen with the first population, namely 24 canteens, total sampling technique, the second 48 food handlers and the third population of 78 buyers with purposive sampling. Relationship analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. With the results of environmental sanitation that meet the health requirements of 20.83% and do not meet the health requirements of 79.17% and the behavior of food handlers as many as 8 (16.67%) have bad behavior, 17 (35.42%) have good enough behavior and 23 (47.91%) good behavior, 6 canteens in medium category and 18 high category canteens. The results of the analysis showed a strong (r = 0.799) and significant (p value = 0.000) relationship between environmental sanitation and cockroach density and a very weak correlation (r = 0.015) between food handler behavior and cockroach density in the Dumai Port canteen (pvalue = 0.946) greater than 0.05 means that there is no relationship between food handler behavior and cockroach density. The economic factor of the price and location purchasing decisions becomes the consumer decision-making process in buying at the Dumai Port Canteen. The suggestion in this research is the need to improve environmental sanitation and increase the supervision of port health workers to reduce the cockroach population in the Dumai Port Canteen.

Work stress due to excessive demands on the workplace is a problem of human resource management in the hospital. The high workload is one of the factors that cause work stress for nurses. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and work stress on nurses in the Intensive Care Unit at Bangil Hospital. The design of this study was an analytic survey using cross-sectional study. The population of all nurses working in the Intensive Care Installation with a sample of 40 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Workload instruments use work sampling observation sheets, while work stress instruments use questionnaires based on Sulsky and Smith's theory of Jusnimar, (2012) modified. The results of the study using Spearman rho showed a relationship between workload and work stress on nurses with p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) and an r-value of 0.551. The level of dependency of the client and the amount of labor that is not appropriate is a factor of high workload so that nurses experience work stress. There needs to be an evaluation of the number of nurse needs or the provision of rewards and stress management training for nurses to adapt and control work stress.

Noise sources can be found in the work environment. Physical stressors such as noise can cause various health problems. One of the psychological disorders found as a result of noise is work stress. PT. Bintang Intipersada has a fairly high noise intensity. So the researchers wanted to find the relationship of noise intensity with work stress levels in workers. This research method was observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach conducted at PT. Bintang Intipersada Shipyard Batam. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a population of 100 workers in 2019 and obtained the results of 61 workers determined by the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study were analyzed using the Spearman test. The results of this study found that workers who were exposed to noise intensity ≤85 dBA and experienced mild work stress by 15 (68.2%) people, workers who were exposed to noise intensity ≤85 dBA and experienced moderate work stress by 5 (22.7% ) people, then workers who are exposed to noise intensity ≤85 dBA and experience heavy work stress as much as 2 (9.1%) people. Whereas workers who were exposed to noise intensity> 85 dBA and experienced light work stress by 3 (7.7%) people, workers who were exposed to noise intensity> 85 dBA and experienced moderate work stress by 9 (23.1%) people, then workers exposed to noise intensity> 85 dBA and experiencing heavy work stress as many as 27 (69.2%) workers. Spearman analysis results obtained significance value p = 0,000. This figure is significant because the p-value is smaller than the significance level (α) = 5% (0.05). Correlation value (r) is 0.667 which means strong correlations. So it can be concluded that there is a strong and meaningful relationship between noise intensity with work stress levels. Based on this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between noise intensity with the level of work stress on workers.
