The community service is training for Sociology’s teachers in Bantul. This activity is to equip teachers about learning media knowledge and application of instructional media. There are many activities which are conducted to be applied and practiced in sociology classes so that sociology learning becomes interesting and not boring for learners. Training is done through varied lecture methods, discussions, and frequently asked questions. Various lecture methods are used to convey concepts that are important to be understood and mastered by the participants. The material given is the type and characteristics of instructional media. Learning media is devoted to learning videos. Question and discussion methods to provide opportunities for participants to consult in understanding the making of learning media and video learning. Making learning videos using the Windows Movie Maker program. From the training process the teacher is able to produce the learning video of class X, XI, XII. Video learning can be used in learning. Activity is supported by several factors. These factors are First, the existence of adequate experts from the Department of Education Sociology FIS UNY, the two participants are enthusiastic, the three principals who support the activities, and the four fa. The obstacles faced were the different basic abilities of participants and time management participants due to the various tasks of the school that caused their focus not to total training materials. The third mission of a university is a community service. Based on this mission, this paper presents the activity of community service. The activity was training for senior high school students and teachers. The subjects of the training are actuators, IoT, and IP address. These components or subsystems are very important basic industrial instrumentation for further automation. These subsystems are very correlated with each other. Some actuators are electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic types. There are many applications of IoT and IP addresses, such as smart grids and communications.

Abstract There are still a few handouts created by the teachers. In fact, teachers feel lazy to make a handout to succeed their teaching and learning process, especially civic teachers who are still low in understanding how to make and design their own handout. A handout is an instrument that teachers supposed to writing it. By writing a handout, teacher can explore his material based on the problems faced in the class. That is way; the Team thought that we need to give them something to train them in writing their own teaching handout. This community service was given to civic teachers of senior high school who has the important role in tranfering knowledge about civic subject. This activity had some sessions, there were; lecturing, discussion, questions answer and feedback. It hopes that by understanding the way in designing a teaching handout, they will be encouraged to make their own handout to support their teaching learning process in the classroom. ?é?á Key words : a teaching handout, a civic subject ?é?á

This community service was a training in writing descriptive text for junior high school students in Joboan village, Probolinggo city. The method of this community service covered four stages: a) analyzing, b) planning and developing the content, c) implementing and d) training. In analyzing stage, the writer found problems faced by the students in writing descriptive text. In planning and developing the content stage, the writer developed method to write descriptive text by utilizing picture and guided question. With this pandemic situation, in implementing stage, the writer gathered 10 participants by applying health protocol suggested by the Government. Training stage was done for three days, 20-22 of July 2020. In the first day, the writer gave explanation related descriptive text. In the second day, the participants started to practice writing descriptive text by using picture and guided question. Feedback was given in the third day. The results of this training were shown by the presence of all participants three days in a row, they also gave responds and asked questions enthusiastically in the training process. The participants no longer faced difficulty in writing descriptive text since they knew that picture and guided question can help them write descriptive text better. Talented student is student who owns ability more than a student in general. Problem which often happens at school in Indonesia is minim of education to talented student. In accommodating fund channel potency to talented student, State Senior High School 1 of Semarang forms special class to talented student and has achievement. Based on background, this research aims to 1) to descripbe strategy construction of student in State Senior High School 1 of Semarang and to descripbe execution of construction of student in State Senior High School 1 of Semarang. This type of research is qualitative ethnography. This research is executed in State Senior High School 1 of Semarang. Subject research is the principal, teacher, and student. Method data collecting use circumstantial interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this research is ethnography analysis. Test authenticity of data by test credibility, transformabilitiy, and conformabilities of expendabilities. The results are 1) Strategy construction of student based on achievement and talent in State Senior High School 1 of Semarang is model study of subdividing of talented student in class of especially with pleasant study strategy and in construction of talented student and have achievement needed and 2) execution of construction of student based on achievement and talent in State Senior High School 1 of Semarang passes some developments with instruction strategy. Those are, first, study bases on problem. Second is exploiting student environment to obtain learning experience. Thirdly, is group activity. Fourth, is making autodidact activity. <p class="p0">This community service was held for students at Ora et Labora Senior High School in Tangerang, who needed education in using and making organic soap, especialy soap that does not pollute the environment and is also good for washing hands. This activity was completed by holding a training and doing an experiment to make soap using extracts of Nathopanax scultellarium and Piper betel leaves which contain secondary metaboliites compounds with anti-bacterial and antioxidant activities. The aim of this training was to introduce the students to soap ingridients and daily-life applications of medicinal natural products. The soap made is herbal soap with natural anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. This herbal soap is also easily degradble by natural microbes, so it is safer for environment. The training to make soap can increase student's knowledge at Ora et Labora Senior High School about soap with extras of natural ingredients, the use of soal as an easy way to live a healthy life through the washing-hands-with-soap initiative, and the awarness about the importance of preserving the environment. </p><p class="p0"><strong>Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: </strong></p><p>PkM ini dilaksanakan bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Ora et Labora yang memerlukan edukasi pemilihan/penggunaan dan pembuatan sabun yang ramah lingkungan untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS). Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan praktek membuat sabun menggunakan ekstrak daun mangkokan dan daun sirih yang banyak mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder yang berkhasiat sebagai antibakteri and antioksidan. Dalam pelatihan ini, muridmurid dapat mengenal bahan-bahan pembuatan sabun serta mengenal penggunaan bahan alam berkhasiat obat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sabun yang dibuat adalah sabun herbal yang berkhasiat antioksidan dan antimikroba alami. Sabun herbal ini juga mudah didegradasi oleh mikroba alami sehingga lebih aman bagi lingkungan. Pelatihan pembuatan sabun herbal dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa menengah atas Ora et Labora tentang sabun dari ekstrak bahan alam, penggunaannya melalui gerakan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) sebagai cara mudah hidup sehat, dan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.<br /><br /></p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Macromedia Flash untuk pembelajaran membaca dan menulis Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Kegiatan ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek uji cobanya siswa kelas X Semester 2 SMA Gama Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Maret-Juni 2013. Pelaksanaannya melalui 10 tahap, dari analisis kebutuhan hingga uji lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif. Data berupa saran digunakan untuk merevisi produk yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media Macromedia Flash yang berkualitas untuk pembelajaran membaca dan menulis Bahasa Indonesia SMA. Produk tersebut mencakup teks, gambar, warna, dan suara; bersifat interaktif. Isinya berupa materi pembelajaran membaca dan menulis Bahasa Indonesia SMA Kelas X Semester 2, khususnya berkenaan dengan kompetensi merangkum tabel dan menulis paragraf argumentatif berdasarkan tabel. Ketiga pakar media mengategorikan baik. Ketiga pakar pembelajaran mengategorikan sangat baik. Kedua guru mengategorikan baik. Siswa dalam uji coba kelompok besar (lapangan) mengategorikan baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini layak dipergunakan dalam pembelajaran di SMA.Kata Kunci: media Macromedia Flash, pembelajaran membaca dan menulis, Bahasa Indonesia Developing macromedia flash media for learning reading and writing indonesian in senior high scool AbstractThe purpose of this study is to develop Macromedia Flash media as media for learning to read and write Indonesian in senior high school. This is a research and development study. The subjects of the research were grade 10 students in the second semester of SMA Gama Yogyakarta. The research was conducted from March to June 2013. The implementation covered 10 stages, of analysis needs to field testing. Data were collected through questionnaires. Quantitative data was analyzed by applying descriptive statistics. Suggestions data are used to revise the product. The research is as a Macro-media Flash-quality which has a goal for learning to read and write Indonesian in senior high school. The developed product includes media components of text, images, colors, and sounds (music); they are interactive in nature. The content of the product are the materials of learning to read and write Indonesian subject for class X semester II Gama Senior High School Yogyakarta, especially in relation to summarizing tables and writing argumentative paragraph based on table. Three media experts categorize the product as good. Three teaching and learning experts categorize it as very good. Two teachers categorize it good. Students on the testing of a large group (field) to categorize good. The community service activity is conducted in the form ofa counselingabout the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in integral application learning.This activity aims to add knowledge about the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in mathematics learning especially integral application learning to mathematics teachers. The implementation method consists of four stages namely preparation, action, evaluation and report. This one day activity were attended by 26 mathematics teachers from elementary school, junior and senior high school and vocational school in Balikpapan at the 7th Floor G Building of Balikpapan University. The presented material consists of the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in integral application topic namely area of plane regions and volume of solids of revolution. This community service activity run well and smoothly and in accordance with the planning. Based on the carried activities, it is expected for mathematics teachers to create learning modules that appropriate with their students� conditions in the class and integrate various multimedia to support their mathematics learning process.Keywords: modul, geogebra, integral application

In order to achieve the expected training objectives and achievements, trainers should be aware that the increased performance of their athletes is related to the personal development of the athlete himself. Some people disagree that the coaching style has the influence of the athlete's training process. The style of coaching can affect athletes toward achievement.This study aims to determine whether there is influence of co-operative trainer pattern to the achievement motivation of female basketball athletes in 17 Agustus 1945 Senior High School Surabaya.In this study using pre-experimental design. The population is the extracurricular participants of basketball in 17 Agustus 1945 Senior High School Surabaya. Using stratified sampling technique with 15 people as sample. The 15 people are the core team of basketball team in 17 Agustus 1945 Senior High School Surabaya. The measurement test of each variable is by using a closed questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. While the value of b indicates that the co-operative coach's pattern of achievement motivation will be able to help increase as much as 0.622. And from the results of this study shows that 50.98% female basketball athletes in 17 Agustus 1945 Senior High School Surabaya achievement motivation influenced by the pattern of co-operative coach.The results of this study indicate that achievement motivation and cooperative pattern are in linear graphics. A strong and significant positive relationship of 0.714. 0.714> 0.433 Ha is accepted, it indicates that there is a relationship between co-operative coach pattern toward achievement motivation.ABSTRAKAgar dapat tercapainya tujuan pelatihan dan prestasi yang diharapkan, maka pelatih harus menyadari bahwa meningkatnya prestasi atlet  mereka berhubungan dengan  perkembangan diri pribadi atlet itu sendiri. Beberapa orang kurang sependapat bahwa gaya pembinaan mempunyai pengaruh proses pelatihan atlet. Gaya pembinaan dapat mempengaruhi atlet menuju prestasi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pola pelatih kooperatif terhadap motivasi berprestasi atlet bola basket putri di SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya.Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental. Populasinya adalah peserta ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Menggunakan teknik stratified sampling  dengan 15 orang sebagai sampelnya. 15 orang tersebut adalah tim inti dari tim basket SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Tes pengukuran masing-masing variabel adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi dan pola kooperatif berada dalam grafis yang linear. Adanya hubungan positif yang kuat dan signifikan sebesar 0,714. 0,714 > 0,433 Ha diterima, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pola pelatih koperatif terhadap motivasi berprestasi. Sementara nilai b menunjukkan bahwa pola pelatih koperatif terhadap motivasi berprestasi akan dapat membantu meningkatkan sebanyak 0,622. Dan dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 50,98 % atlet bola basket putri SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya motivasi berprestasinya dipengaruhi oleh pola pelatih kooperatif.

<p><em>Writing is often considered as a complicated skill to master. In order to be able to write effectively, there are several aspects to consider, which often make students face some problems in composing a written text. Thus, the use of the appropriate instructional media is necessary to help students overcome those problems, and enhance their writing ability. This classroom action research aims to investigate the improvement of students’ writ</em><em>ing</em><em> skill</em><em> </em><em>through the use of animation movie as the instructional media. The participants of this research were two observers and </em><em>38</em><em> second grade senior high school</em><em> students</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>This research used observation as the technique of collecting the qualitative data about the teaching and learning process, which then analyzed by using </em><em>thematic analysis. Meanwhile, writing tests were used to obtain the quantitative data about the students’ scores </em><em>o</em><em>n the test given at the end of the cycles. Descriptive statistics are used to analyse the quantitative data obtained in  this study. The research result showed that their average scores increased from the pre-test (75.68), to the post test in cycle 1 (78.71) and the post- test in cycle 2 (83.55). It indicated that their writing skill was also increased. Therefore, the use of animation movie in English class can improve the second grade senior high school students’ writing skill</em><em>.</em></p>
