The implementation plan begins with asking questions, thinking together and answering; 2) Application of the approach to improving learning outcomes and increasing character in TK PGRI Standard Corawali to apply the character of children. The goals and objectives of education held in schools are formal and informal channels. The main target of education can be achieved well, it needs to be initiated in the concept of integration through a character approach to TK PGRI Standard Corawali.

Mobile devices as learning tools enrich mobile computer supported collaborative learning (mCSCL). Engaging in metacognitive interaction promotes students’ regulatory learning and this can provide a positive influence to learning outcomes. However, despite insightful empirical studies, there is no research into the actual processes of new knowledge creation in this context. This leads to the question of how mobile learning experiences can support the co-creation of new knowledge. Two classroom action research studies were carried out using a qualitative research approach. The analysis of the mobile messages using conversation analysis indicates that self-regulated learning in mCSCL is non-linear, defying existing theory. The findings also show that learners find ways to self-regulate learning activities in socially stimulated learning environments. Through knowledge sharing, students seek new insights into the learning instead of mere transfer of existing content. The Strategic Co-creation of New Knowledge in mCSCL Model has been developed providing innovative ways to approach mobile learning. The findings also comprise improved descriptive models in cross-boundary learning. This research is significant as emerging elements encourage instructors to rethink and design better mobile learning activities to optimize learning. Three recommendations are made and if implemented, will enable learning facilitators to achieve enhanced learning outcomes, engage learners better and improve learning experiences.

AbstractThis research is a comparative study of Finnish and Australian science curricula in early childhood education (EC). The study aims to figure out the constructivist components of the science curriculum in two countries as well as locate the similarities and differences in the rationale and aims, contents, learning outcomes, learning activities, teacher’s role and assessment. The curriculum analysis framework developed by Van den Akker (2003) was used as a methodological framework for the curricula analysis. Based on the theory-driven content analyses, findings show that both countries have several components of constructivist curriculum, but not always clearly focused on science education. The Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) integrates children’s science learning within their five specific learning outcomes, whereas the Finnish national core curriculum for early childhood education and care has no defined learning outcomes in general. The Finnish curriculum more clearly than EYLF encompasses science and environmental education as a learning domain, within which children participate in targeted scientific activities to gain procedural knowledge in specific environmental-related concepts. More focus should be turned to the teachers’ role and assessment, which are not determined in science context in both countries. This international comparative study calls for the need of a considered EC curriculum framework that more explicitly has science domains with specifically defined rationale, aims, content areas, learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The implications lie in providing early childhood educators with tangible and theoretically solid curriculum framework and resources in order to foster scientific thinking in young children.

In Gorontalo, some teenagers are not confident in their local languages, andchildren who are unable to communicate with Gorontalo language even in very simple contexts, especiallypeople in urban areas. Learning local languages of Gorontalo at the level of Early Childhood Education isconsidered to be one solution, considering the early age is a potential moment to develop various potentials, including the potential for language. Conditions encountered in early childhood education institutions showthat learning / language activities in Gorontalo are not structured, resulting in the development of Gorontalolanguage ability in children is very low. For that reason, learning language of Gorontalo in early childhoodneeds to be organized in a systematic and structured based on clear guidelines. These guidelines include:(a) learning programs that are appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood development, (b) learningmaterials appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood development, and (c) evaluation guidelinesthat can clearly measure the development of local language skills in children aged early.
