Abstract; in the growth of Islamic Boarding School, Islamic Boarding School leadership shall no longer apply single leadership pattern. Islamic Boarding School organization developed in the legal form of institution. Islamic Boarding School Organizational toward impersonal without lessening role of kyai as highest leader, with leadership like that, Islamic Boarding School become one of the modern education institute. Islamic Boarding School leadership shall no longer apply single leadership pattern but in the form of legal form of institution. With leadership like that, Islamic Boarding School become one of the modern education institute. Learning Organization is appliance to develop quality institution or organization. Every organizational member require to develop its ability continually for future. Applying of study organization conducted because organization have core value to improve strategic ability for the process of action repair, improve knowledge and skilled its member. Thereby, Continuity of Islamic Boarding School exist finally shall no longer depend on someone as single leader a kyai, but have rounded into a working team. This matter represent good growth for continuity of Islamic Boarding School. ملخص: طبقا لنموّ المعاهد (البسانترين) فإن الرئاسة فيها ليست رئاسة واحدة. تنظّم منظمة المعهد في شكل المؤسسة ، واتجه إلى الرئاسة الجماعية  لكن دون أن يقلل دور كياهي فيه كالرئيس الأول فيه، فبهذا يصبح المعهد مؤسسة تربوية متقدّمة. و  Learning organization   هو الوسيلة لبناء المنظمة أو المؤسسة المتقدمة. وكل من أعضاء هذه المنظمة لابد أن تنمّى كفاءاته لأجل الإصلاح في المستقبل. ويطبق تنسيق التعليم لأن المنظمة لها القيمة لتنمية الكفاءات الاستيراتيجية لعملية إصلاح العمل، وترقية المعلومات والكفاءات لكل أعضاء المنظمة. بهذا لا يكون وجود المعهد معلق بوجود الرئيس الوحيد (كياهي) لكنه أصبح فرقة العمل. وهذا واقع جميل ومقنع لبقاء المعهد في المستقبل.Keyword: Pembelajaran, organisasi, pesantren dan era global.

Santri leadership patterns (people studying the teachings of Islam in Islamic boarding schools) in organizing are essential. The effectiveness of the activities of a pesantren related to santri is very much determined from the leadership pattern of the santri in the existing organization at the pesantren. So this study aims to determine the leadership style of students in a good pattern. Leadership is an attempt by someone to recognize and motivate their members to carry out a process to achieve the goals carried in a group or organization. The leader is functioned to formulate structural objectives and processes, ensure the integrity of the members, solve joint problems and follow up on the results of the evaluation. The organization itself is a unity of several people formed to achieve certain goals together. Organizational success depends on 4 things: (1) Planning, (2) Arrangement, (3) Reporting and (4) Supervision. This study uses a qualitative method that is collecting data in the form of words and understanding of the observations. This type of research is descriptive, the research serves to describe the pattern of leadership of students in organizing in the Islamic Union Islamic School (PERSIS) Bangil. From the results of the study, the santri leadership pattern in organizing in the PERSIS pesantren is a democratic leadership pattern, namely leadership that makes members as a team, deliberates on decisions and conveys work tasks in control and supervision. And this democratic leadership is oriented to faith and piety, good character and role models from the Prophet Muhammad.

<p class="MMTopic1" style="text-align: justify;"><em>Abstract</em>— Pesantren is an institution or organization that is engaged in Islamic religious education-based community education diniyah or integrated with other types of education. As a boarding school organization requires good management information systems by implementing an integrated boarding school. The information system is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that covers all business processes in a boarding school and focused on planning and documentation of transactions. ERP is the application used by the manufacturing company in operation. There is therefore a fundamental conceptual differences between the manufacturing process with the process of education at boarding school, so as to generate the appropriate ERP and can be used by the boarding school, the system needs to be modeled. Modelling done by creating a process diagram and diagram data.</p>

The applicative theory used as a supporting statement is the concept of Henry Mintzberg's interpersonal managerial role. It is undeniable to see the gap between management theory and the concept of social interaction in Islam. The term defined by some experts is bounded value, individual, and nonexclusive. The theory emphasizes more on the system through management functions, whereas in Islam, the leadership figures are more desirable. This study answers, how is the application of interpersonal managerial roles in the Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School from Henry Mintzberg's perspective? The method used in this study is qualitative research with observation and interview instruments as tools of data collection. From the results of data collection, researchers conducted descriptive analysis steps namely categorization, reduction, and interpretation. The results show that Kiai's interpersonal managerial role forms as: first, Kiai al-Ishlah figure, and the ceremonial stage of the leadership. Second, the pattern of the al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school organization, personal improvement, independence, productivity, and special training. Third, educational cooperation and equality cooperation. The implication is that it is understandable that management theory is not the main theory used in an Islamic boarding school because the managerial role of Kiai managerial firmly determines the pace of Islamic boarding school management

This study was conducted based on the problem of kyai leadership pattern in Islamic boarding school in Jambi which is considered as paternalistic and centralistic.  The study was aimed at exploring the effectiveness of kyai leadership at Islamic boarding schools in Jambi dealing with the following questions: 1) What kind of system is applied in the election of Islamic boarding school leader? 2) What kind of leadership model used in Islamic boarding school Jambi? 3) What is the effectiveness of the kyai leadership in relation with the vision, mission, management, and policy maker of that school? 4) What were the roles of kyai as the leader of Islamic boarding school among the society?  Qualitative design was used in this study and purposive sampling was employed to determine the respondents. Observation, interview and documentation were used to collect the data. It was found that: 1) The Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Iman applied deliberation and consensus system leader in which teachers, board of trustees and coordinator of Pecinan are participating in when electing the leader and the model of leadership in this school is charismatic.  The As’ad School leader’s election was based on family-tree system and the model of leadership in this school was paternalistic. In PKP Al-Hidayah, the leader is elected directly by the government of Jambi province as the owner of the school. 2) In general, the model of leadership applied in Islamic boarding school in Jambi was collective-passive model because generally Islamic boarding school at Jambi are under the management of particular foundation.3) The leadership of kyai is not effective because the management system applied was not effective. 4) The role of kyai among the society ran harmoniously. Based on the research findings, democratic and open election system are recommended in Islamic boarding school leader election to respect individual right to consider leader’s credibility, quality and acceptability.  Copyright © 2015 by Al-Ta'lim All right reserved

<p><em>The research aims to: 1.) determine the role of pesantren in the millennial perspective, and 2.) determine the pattern of leadership in Islamic boarding schools in the millennial perspective. It is interesting to study the development of Islamic boarding schools in the millennial era as a legacy of education during the Islamic era, particularly its role in the millennial perspective and its leadership pattern. The qualitative research method was used in this study. All leaders, caregivers, teachers, residents near the Islamic boarding school, and students at Pondok Pesantren Assalam Jambewangi Selopuro Blitar comprise the research population. Purposive random sampling was used to select the research sample. Interviews, observations, and documentation are used to collect research data. Data triangulation is used to verify the accuracy of the data. This research yielded the following findings is Islamic boarding schools, in their role in the millennial era, can keep up with the times. still exist and are improving. This Islamic Boarding School is a salafiyah that can keep up with the times as well as Science and Technology without departing from the existing guidelines. Without departing from the rules enshrined in Islam's teachings.</em></p>

This research was carried out because of the anxiety of researchers seeing islamic boarding school as indigenous increasingly excluded from the competitive arena of modern education. Islamic boarding schools are increasingly not in demand by students because they do not issue diplomas such as formal schools. And the most important thing seen from the islamic boarding school at this time, the fact that students are less interested in Islamic scholarship, especially the yellow book, the legacy of salaf scholars, the students are more interested in science. For researchers, this problem must be studied and find a solution so that the islamic boarding school can return to its line of printing Ulama, ulama who are knowledgeable in Islamic science and science. The Raudlatul Iman Islamic Boarding School in Sumenep which was used as the object of this study experienced the things described above, where there was an imbalance in applying scientific integration of Islamic sciences and science. student are more interested in learning science than Islamic science, especially the yellow book. While the findings of the data of researchers in the field show, to anticipate and prevent the negative implications of the failure of scientific integration at the Raudlatul Iman islamic boarding school, the kiai made a breakthrough by reforming the islamic boarding school curriculum and organizing the islamic boarding school organization. This was done so that the islamic boarding school he managed would become a future islamic boarding school.

Many students from the Salafiyah Islamic boarding school cannot continue their education to a higher level because of constraints in formal diplomas. Basic education program is one of the programs of the Ministry of Religion to overcome this. However, in its implementation it depends on the pesantren's own stakeholders, such as the role of the pesantren caregivers, pesantren head and pesantren instructors. Like in PP. Darutta'lim Wadda'wah Malang, which is one of the pesantren in Malang that has implemented a fair education program. In this case, the role of the head of the pesantren is very influential. Therefore, researchers are interested in carrying out research related to how the leadership of the pesantren head in implementing the fair education program. The focus of this research is about (1) How is the leadership of the pesantren head (2) how is the implementation of this program and also (3) what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the program.The results of this study found that (1) Leadership characteristics of Darutta'lim Wadda'wah Islamic boarding school leadership in the implementation of the Elementary Education Program included in a democratic leadership style, including: Prioritizing deliberation in decision making, involving pesantren stakeholders in making policy, and providing opportunities to all pesantren stakeholders to give their opinions for the achievement of the success of the Elementary Education Program at the Darutta'lim Wadda'wah boarding school. (2) Implementation of the Basic Education Fair Program in PP. Darutta'lim Wadda'wah started with the socialization of the Ministry of Education, after the socialization activities, the City Ministry of Education also provided guidance to pesantren who wanted to implement the Elementary Education Program in their pesantren. Guidance includes how the licensing process to how the evaluation later. (3) Supporting factors for the implementation of the Basic Education Program at the Darutta'lim Wadda'wah boarding school include: the support of pesantren caregivers, the availability of educational infrastructure, experienced teaching staff, and the availability of supporting books. While the inhibiting factors include: the lack of time for learning activities, the tutor has not been able to get an educator certificate, the problem of funding, although getting assistance from BOS funds, the size depends on the number of students, learning facilities are still lacking, and limited teaching time for teachers.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the boarding school leadership in improving the quality of human resources as a whole. The contribution of human resources is very important in the progress of this boarding school. The method used is through a phenomenological approach, in which the researcher is directly involved in the struggle of society and the students directly. Researchers observe and analyze and interview the parties who are directly related. The success of building a nation, starting from the development of human resources, HCL (Human Capital Index) plays a very important role in the development of civilization towards SGDs. The HCL component, which includes education, health and social security, has been implemented in the Idrisyah Islamic boarding school, as a Tarekat. The application of the HCL principles greatly impacts on sustainable human development. Tarekat in Indonesia that apply it because they still apply spirituality of worship vertically, the majority do not have an impact on socio-culture, economy, development and others and as a result unemployment, poverty is not significantly reduced. This tarekat is a new trend in socio-societal change and as a Sufistic movement in Indonesia.

Islamic Boarding school is an islamic education institution which has an identical tradition in indonesian muslim societuy. This institution has emerged long before the colonialism era in Indonesia. In its long history since years to pursue the concept of modernism, islamic boarding school, sometimes ,has also been perceived negatively because of transnasionalism ideology which is adopted in recent years. In that case, this paper aimed to describe the existence of islamic boarding school in indonesian social life. By argumenting and comparing some previous studies in this case to gain an accurate result. Moreover, this paper is intended to answer some western perception about islamic boarding school in Indonesia, and finally emphasize the role of islamic boarding school as a government partner and its function in creating democracy.  Keyword: Islamic Boarding School, Tradition, Modernization.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pondok pesantren At Taubah di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas II B Cianjur mengenai pembinaan Akhlak Narapidana. Dengan memahami perencanaan program dan pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak narapidana. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Peran pesantren At Taubah yang berada di LAPAS Klas II B Cianjur dalam membina akhlak narapidana yaitu memberikan sumbangsih besar terhadap pembinaan yang secara umum merupakan tugas dari Lembaga Pemasyarakatan. Hal ini terlihat dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh pesantren yang begitu terorganisir.   This study aims to determine the role of the At Taubah Islamic boarding school in Cianjur Class II B Correctional Institution regarding the Moral Guidance of Prisoners. By understanding program planning and the implementation of moral guidance for prisoners. This research uses a descriptive method. The results showed that the role of the At Taubah Islamic Boarding School in the Class II B Classroom in Cianjur in building up the morals of prisoners is to contribute greatly to coaching which is generally the task of the Penitentiary. This can be seen from the activities carried out by pesantren that are so organized.
