This work aims to confirm the Ukrainian variant of the Gender Bias Quiz at a linguistic level. Thе questionnaire consists of 20 questions, which allows the psychologist to determine the individual's gender bias. Respondents (university students, 20-26 years old) completed the Ukrainian translated version of the Gender Bias Quiz questionnaire, and then two weeks later, students completed the original one. Statistical analysis of the data included the use of the Wilcoxon test and the Spearman correlation test. The Wilcoxon test results showed no significant differences between the original (English) and the translated questionnaire. Instead, the Spearman test showed a positive correlation at a high level of statistical significance between respondents' scores in the first and second tests. The obtained data proved the successful linguistic validation of this questionnaire.

Introduction: Hyperglycemia on neuron cell culture occurs when the cells are induced by 25 mM of glucose. Hyperglycemia state will increase intracellular Ca2+ that leads to increased of oxidative stress in the cell. This causes the activation of antioxidant enzymes by Nrf2 protein. Amlodipine act on nerve cells through bounding with L-Type Calcium Channel (LTCC). 5 µM of amlodipine has neuroprotective effect on cell culture of neuron by inhibiting cell death. Aim: The purpose of this research is to know the effect of treating amlodipine dose 5 μM towards expression of the protein Nrf2 in SH-SY5Y cell culture induced by 25 mM glucose. Methods: In this research on neuron cell culture induced 25 mM glucose within 6 days and treated with amlodipine and without amlodipine 5 µM. Results: Based on research results obtained test results independent t test (p = 0,324) that there is no change of the Nrf2 expression significant between a given neuron cell culture with amlodipine without amlodipine. Spearman correlation test showed (r = 0.290; p = 0.361) that treating by amlodipine 5 µM not significantly increasing Nrf2 expression. Conclusion: Based on this study it can be concluded that treating by amlodipine 5 µM not give effect against Nrf2 expression on neuron cell culture induced 25 mM glucose.

Introduction: Exposure to organic dust in the agricultural industry can cause pulmonary function problems for workers. This study aims to know the determinant of pulmonary function impairment on rice mill workers in Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, East Java. Method: This study was an analytical observational study using a cross-sectional design. This study’s population were all rice mill workers in Ketapang and Glatik Villages, Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, East Java there were 25 people. The sample of this study was 16 people. The independent variable in this study was the sex, working period, smoking, and using a mask, while the dependent variable was the pulmonary function status of workers. The data respondent obtained a questionnaire, observations, and measurement of workers’ pulmonary function using a spirometer. Data analysis was performed in analytic descriptive with the Spearman correlation test. Result and Discussion: The Spearman test results are known that the working period (r = -0.022) and smoking (r = -0.160) were very weak and an inverse correlation with pulmonary function status. In comparison, the use of masks (r = 0.462) was adequate and directly correlated with pulmonary function status. Smoking and working period will describe the length of exposure to rice dust, affecting the pulmonary function status. The obedience of using masks to workers will reduce the risk of pulmonary function impairment. Conclusion: Working period, smoking, and using mask are determinants of pulmonary function impairment on rice mill workers in Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, East Java.

Background: In spite of the increasing degree of automation in industry, manual material handling (MMH) is still performed in many occupational settings. The aim of the current study was to determine the maximum acceptable weight of lift using psychophysical and electromyography indices. Methods: This experimental study was conducted among 15 male students recruited from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Each participant performed 18 different lifting tasks which involved three lifting frequencies, three lifting heights and two box sizes. Each set of experiments was conducted during the 20 min work period using free-style lifting technique and subjective as well as objective assessment methodologies. SPSS version 18 software was used for descriptive and analytical analyses by Friedman, Wilcoxon and Spearman correlation techniques. Results: The results demonstrated that muscle activity increased with increasing frequency, height of lift and box size (P<0.05). Meanwhile, MAWLs obtained in this study are lower than those in Snook table (P<0.05). In this study, the level of muscle activity in percent MVC in relation to the erector spine muscles in L3 and T9 regions as well as left and right abdominal external oblique muscles were at 38.89%, 27.78%, 11.11% and 5.55% in terms of muscle activity is more than 70% MVC, respectively. The results of Wilcoxon test revealed that for both small and large boxes under all conditions, significant differences were detected between the beginning and end of the test values for MPF of erector spine in L3 and T9 regions, and left and right abdominal external oblique muscles (P<0.05). The results of Spearman correlation test showed that there was a significant relation between the MAWL, RMS and MPF of the muscles in all test conditions (P<0.05).Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it was concluded if muscle activity is more than 70% of MVC, the values of Snook tables should be revisited. Furthermore, the biomechanical perspective should receive special attention in determining the standards for MMH

In case of oil and natural gas production, a restricted zone within 500-meter-wide around offshore platform was established. The restricted zone was established to protect all activities in the sea, including fishing. Socialization on law, safety, and security, and the existence of oil and gas operational facility platform has been held. Yet, it hasn’t stopped the fishers’ effort to do fishing in the restricted zone. Therefore, this study tries to analyze communication model in the socialization and components that affect communication as well as correlation among the factors that influence the effectiveness of communication and fishers' obedience toward prohibition of entering the restricted zone. The study was conducted in one of the coastal villages in Karawang Regency, West Java. Data were collected by using questionnaire, which was supported by conducting qualitative method. The data, which were analyzed by rank Spearman Correlation Test. Results showed that communication model on socialization is not a convergent model but a linear and interactional model. There was a difference between a facilitator of socialization and fishing communities in terms of education level, social class, and language that becomes an obstacle for fishers to communicate. The message materials have not been complete yet, and there is no emotional and fear approachesin the message content of socialization. The use of radio as a communication channel has been ineffective because most fishers do not have a radio. Experience as fishers is significantly related to the fishers’ obedience and their view is very significant to their obedience. Meanwhile, the age, educational level, use of fishing tools, attendance at faceto-face socialization, exposure on advertising spots in radio and posters at Fish Auction Site (TPI), and the frequency of communication among the fishers are not significantly related to fishers’ obedience toward the prohibition of entering the restricted zone. Keywords: socialization, restricted zone, and fishers’ obedience

Background: Although China began implementing medical reforms in 2009 aimed at fair allocation of the regional distribution of doctors, little is known of their impact. This study analyzed the geographic distribution of doctors from 2002 to 2017. Methods: This study calculated the Gini coefficient and Theil index among doctors in the eastern, central, and western regions (Category 1) of China, and in urban and rural areas (Category 2). The statistical significance of fairness changes was analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test. Results: The annual growth rates of the number of doctors for the periods from 2002 to 2009 and 2010 to 2017 were 2.38% and 4.44%. The Gini coefficients among Category 1 were lower than those in Category 2, and statistically decreased after the medical reforms (P < 0.01) but continued to increase in Category 2 (P = 0.463). In 2017, the Theil decomposition result of Category 1 was 74.33% for the between-group, and in Category 2, it was 95.22% for the within-group. Conclusions: The fairness among the regional distribution of doctors in Category 1 is now at a high level and is better than that before the reforms. While the fairness in Category 2 is worse than that before the reforms, it causes moderate inequality and is continually decreasing. Overall unfairness was found to be derived from the between-group.

Aim: This study aimed at determining the profiles of progesterone and bovine interferon-τ (bIFN-τ) and the correlation between the two in repeat breeding (RB) Aceh cattle and non-RB Aceh cattle. Materials and Methods: The study was performed on five RB and five non-RB Aceh cows. These cows were subjected to estrous synchronization using the prostaglandin F2 alpha hormone, which was followed by artificial insemination (AI). Serum samples were collected on days 5, 6, 7, 15, 16, and 17 after AI to measure the concentration of progesterone at the beginning and end of the luteal phase and from days 14 to 18 after AI to measure the concentration of bIFN-τ. The concentrations of progesterone and bIFN-τ were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Pregnancy examinations were performed by ultrasonography on days 25, 35, 45, and 55 after AI. Data for progesterone and bIFN-τ concentrations were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney and t-tests, and the correlation between progesterone and bIFN-τ was analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. Results: The average concentration of progesterone in RB Aceh cows tended to be lower than non-RB Aceh cows, but it was not significantly different (p>0.05). Similar results also found in the concentration of bIFN-τ which RB Aceh cows tended to have lower bIFN-τ concentrations compared to non-RB Aceh cows, but it was also not significantly different (p>0.05). Moreover, the concentrations of progesterone and bIFN-τ in RB and non-RB Aceh cows did not show a significant correlation (p>0.05). These results of the ultrasonography showed that non-RB Aceh cows were pregnant from day 25 to day 55 after AI, whereas RB Aceh cows were not pregnant and had early embryonic death. Conclusion: The concentrations of progesterone and bIFN-τ in non-RB Aceh cows tended to be higher than those in RB Aceh cows, although, it was not significantly different. Non-RB Aceh cows were able to maintain pregnancy until day 55, whereas RB Aceh cows were diagnosed with early embryonic death before day 25 after AI.
