<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><strong>Latar belakang: </strong>Trombositopenia merupakan suatu keadaan jumlah trombosit di bawah 150.000/mm<sup>3</sup>, hal ini dapat menyebabkan perdarahan yang apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat berujung pada kematian. Beberapa tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi  trombositopenia, salah satunya adalah dengan tanaman daun pepaya.</p><p><strong>Tujuan:</strong> untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun pepaya terhadap <em>bleeding time</em> (waktu perdarahan).</p><p><strong>Metode : </strong>Desain penelitian ini menggunakan <em>true experimental</em> dengan rancangan <em>post test only control group design</em>. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 30 ekor mencit jantan (<em>Mus musculus</em>) yang dibagi menjadi lima kelompok. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengukuran <em>bleeding time</em>, yang dianalisa dengan uji ANOVA.</p><p><strong>Hasil: </strong>Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan nilai <em>p</em>&lt;0.0001 dengan rerata waktu paling cepat antara kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok perlakuan dengan dosis 2g/kgBB (2.74±0.14). Some actions that can be done to overcome thrombocytopenia, one of which is with papaya leaf.</p><p><strong>Objectives:</strong> This study aims to analyze the effect of giving papaya leaf extract to bleeding time.</p><p><strong><em>Methods:</em></strong><strong> </strong>This research design uses true experimental with design of post-test only control group design. The sample in this study were 30 male mice (<em>Mus musculus</em>) divided into five groups. The first group as the negative control group (CMC Na 0.5%), the second group as the positive control (CMC Na 0.5%), the third group was given ethanol 96% extract papaya leaf dose 0.5g/kgBW, the fourth group was given ethanol 96% extract papaya leaf dose 1g/kgBW, the fifth group was given ethanol 96% extract papaya leaf dose 2g/kgBW. Data collection using measurement sheet of  bleeding time which were analyzed by ANOVA test.</p><p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong><strong> </strong>The results of this study showed that p&lt;0.0001 the fastest mean time occur between treatment groups that is treatment group with dose 2g/kgBW (2.74±0.14). In the bleeding time variables p&lt;0.0001 the fastest mean time occur between treatment groups that is treatment group with dose 2g/kgBW (2.74±0.14). This result shows that there are significant differences between every groups.</p><p><strong><em>Conclusion:</em></strong><strong> </strong>The conclusion of this research is giving papaya leaf extract can increase bleeding time.</p><p> </p><p><strong>KEYWORDS: </strong>leaf of papaya, bleeding time, thrombocytopenia.</p><p> </p>

Father’s role strongly proved in increasing the success of breastfeeding process, but in realitymany fathers are still not implementing its role in the process of breastfeeding (breastfeeding father’srole) because of father’s education and the assumption of breastfeeding is mother’s responsibilities. Thepurpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the father prenatal education toward breastfeedingfather’s role. This study used post test only control group design. 30 samples were taken by purposivesampling which further divided into control and treatment groups by simple random. Breastfeedingfather’s role was measured by a questionnaire and the data were analyzed by independent t test. Theresults showed breastfeeding father’s role rate and standard deviation in the treatment group was 15.40± 2.558, while in the control group 9.80 ± 4.212. Different test treatment and control group obtained thevalue p = 0,000 which means there was a significant effect of education toward breastfeeding father’srole between the treatment group and the control group. The nurse recommended to educate pregnantwomen prenatal classes which was devoted to the father (husband) as an alternative solution to improvethe success of exclusive breastfeeding program.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan three corner drill terhadap kelincahan dan power otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Data post-test kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t independent didapatkan hasil : (1) untuk variabel kelincahan, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = -2,948 , dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009, (2) untuk variabel power, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = 3,176, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005. Nilai signifikansi hitung lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05), dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian “pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan” diterima. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan (2) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan. Kata Kunci : kelincahan, daya ledak, three corner drill The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of three corner drill training toward the increased agility and power muscle of legs. The type of research was a quasi-experimental and the design of research was the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were man’s student football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Agility and muscle power of legs posttest to the treatment group and the control group were analyzed by independent t-test at significance 0,05 with SPSS 16.0. Based on independent t-test results were showed : (1) to the agility variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = -2,948, with a significance value of 0,009, (2) to muscle power of legs variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = 3,176, with a significance value of 0,005. Calculated significance value smaller than the value of 0,05 (Sig < 0.05), thus the research hypothesis "three corner drill training affect the increased agility and muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan " was received. From the analyzed and discussion were concluded that : (1) three corner drill training effect the increased agility in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan, (2) three corner drill training effect the increased muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. keyword : Agility, power, three corner drill

This study aimed to determine the effects of red fruit (Pandanus conoideus Lam) oil on MDA levels and spermatozoa quality in mice (Mus musculus) exposed to MSG. The quality includes motility, viability, concentration, and morphology of spermatozoa. This experimental study used randomized post-test only control group design. The subjects of this study were 25 mice (Mus musculus), divided into 5 groups (5 mice per group). K- group received distilled water for 35 days. K+ group received 4 mg/g BW MSG for 21 days. P1, P2, and P3 treatment groups received 4 mg/g BW MSG for 21 days and 0.02; 0.04; 0.08 ml/g BW red fruit oil, respectively, from day 22 to 35. The results showed that mean spermatozoa morphology in K-, K+, P1, P2, P3 groups were as follows: 0.86; 0.56; 0.67; 0.61; and 0.87 (%). The spermatozoa concentrations were sequentially as follows: 21; 10; 15; 32,8,19 (107 cells/ml). The spermatozoa's vitalities were as follows: 0,64; 0,14; 0,24; P2: 0.36; 0.68 (%). MDA levels were respectively: 0.29; 0.60; 0.35; 0.23; and 0.19 (nm). As a conclusion, testicular MDA levels in mice exposed to MSG and given with red fruit oil were lower than those in mice exposed to MSG without receiving red fruit oil. The quality of spermatozoa in mice exposed to MSG and receiving red fruit oil was higher than that of mice exposed to MSG without being given with red fruit oil.

Boxing is the basic gesture for all martial arts, because all of them definitely use the shadow shot and common shot. These two types of shots are related each other because anaerobic capacity must go along with aerobic capacity.To attain the proper knowledge about the method of shadow shot and common shot in increasing VO2max for the endurance of arm muscles for boxer athletes in Central Lombok Regency. Research was experimental with pre-test and post-test control group design, this research wasconducted in Pertina Lombok Tengah Regency. The research subjects involved 15 people divided into two groups, 7 and 8 samples respectively. The control group given only shadow shot while treatment group given common shot. This training held 3 times a week in six weeks for both groups. In every stage of long and complex chemotherapy procedure, of course, it could confuse patients. The purpose of this queasy experimental research was to analyze the effect of education from nurses about chemotherapy procedure on patient's knowledge level toward the use of new card at one-stop oncology poly (POSA (Poli Onkologi Satu Atap)) of Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, by using "pre-test post-test with control group design". The subjects were divided into two groups: treatment group that was given the education in using new cards and control group that was given the education in using old cards. The treatment group underwent the increase knowledge of general chemotherapy procedures, meanwhile, the control group did not undergo any increase. AbstrakMinyak kelapa sawit banyak mengandung asam lemak jenuh yang diduga dapat menyebabkan kolesterol dan trigliserida meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efek suplemen bawang putih terhadap kadar kolesterol dan trigliserida tikus galur wistar yang diberi diet tinggi minyak sawit. Ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan randomized post test control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 ekor tikus Wistar jantan yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu kelompok diet standar ad libitum, kelompok diet tinggi minyak sawit dan kelompok perlakuan (diet tinggi minyak sawit+suplemen bawang putih). Masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari lima ekor tikus. Pemberian minyak sawit dengan kadar 3 ml/15 gram pakan standar diberikan kepada kelompok diet tinggi minyak sawit dan kelompok perlakuan selama empat minggu. Pemberian suplemen bawang putih (dosis 3,6 mg/200 mgBB tikus) diberikan kepada kelompok perlakuan selama empat minggu. Kadar kolesterol pada kelompok diet tinggi minyak sawit adalah 109 ± 2,76 mg/dl dan pada kelompok perlakuan adalah 107 ± 3,09 mg/dl. Kadar trigliserida pada kelompok diet tinggi minyak sawit adalah 84 ± 4,27 mg/dl, pada kelompok perlakuan adalah 83 ± 6,02 mg/dl. Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna kadar kolesterol dan trigliserida antara kelompok diet tinggi minyak sawit dengan kelompok perlakuan. Pada kelompok diet standar ad libitum dengan kelompok diet tinggi minyak sawit maupun antara kelompok diet standar ad libitum dengan kelompok perlakuan terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada kadar kolesterol dan trigliserida.Kata kunci: minyak sawit, suplemen bawang putih, kolesterol, trigliseridaAbstractPalm oil contains a lot of saturated fatty acids and it is supposed to cause increased cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of garlic supplements on cholesterol levels and triglyceride at wistar strain rats which were fed in high diet palm oil. This study is a randomized experimental study with post-test control group design. The subjects were 15 male wistar rats were divided into three groups, standard ad libitum diet group, high diet palm oil group and the treatment group (high diet palm oil+ garlic supplement). Each group consists of five rats. Provision of palm oil with high levels of standard 3 ml/15 grams of feeding given to the high diet palm oil group and the treatment group during the four weeks. Garlic supplement (dose 3.6 mg/200 mgweight rat) was given to the treatment group for four weeks. Cholesterol levels in the high diet palm oil group was 109 ± 2,76 mg/dl in the treatment group was 107 ± 3,09 mg/dl. The levels of triglycerides in the high diet palm oil group was 84 ± 4,27 mg/dl and in the treatment group was 83 ± 6,02 mg/dl. There was no significant difference the levels of cholesterol and triglycerides between the high diet palm oil group with the treatment group. <p><em>The study was aimed to analyze the effect of nutritional education on attitude changes and increased of macronutrients and water intake in scout teenagers. The study was quasi-experimental with pre- and post-test control group design. The treatment group was given nutritional education four times during one month. Pre-test was conducted a week before intervention and post-test was conducted a week after intervention. Subjects were all members of Saka Bhayangkara and Saka Wira Kartika Scout. The result showed that nutritional education was significant improved median value of attitude score and increased (p &lt;0,05). macronutrients intake in treatment group. The average of macronutrients intake in treatment group, before and after intervention were 1137,8±178,7 Kcal and 1490,4± 206,6 Kcal/day for energy; 40,4 ± 9,8 g/day and 60,8 ± 9,3g/day for protein; 38,5 ± 12,6 g/day and 59,3 ± 9,4 g/day for fat; 155,6 ± 29,5 g/day and 177,6 ± 33,5 g/day for carbohydrates; 782,4±347,7 mL and 834,6±383,2 mL for water. Nutritional education improved nutrition attitudes and increased macro-nutrient intake among scout.</em></p>

This study aims to determine the morphology of Leydig cells in hyperlipidemic wistar rats after having administered with sembung (Blumea balsamifera) extract orally. This study utilised a randomized post-test only control group design. The sample in this study were 16 adult male wistar rats (Rattus novergicus) aged 3-4 months with a body weight of 150-200 grams, which were equally and randomly divided into two groups, namely control group (hyperlipidaemia and sterile aquadest) and treatment group (hyperlipidaemia and sembung leaf extract). Hyperlipidaemia was induced with lard administration for 50 days. Data were analysed statistically using the Independent t-test. The results showed that the number of Leydig cells in the treatment group was higher than the control group with 68.13 ± 1.89 and 55.63 ± 1.92 cells respectively (P <0.05). In addition, the mean Leydig cell core diameter of the control group, 5.00 ± 0.34 µm, was smaller compared to the treatment group which was 5.80 ± 0.20 µm (P <0.05). It can be inferred that sembung leaf extract provides a protective effect against damage to Leydig cells due to hyperlipidaemia.

Background: Accumulation of denture plaque can lead to pathological changes in oral mucosa, such as denture stomatitis, halitosis, and caries. Plaque matrix is mostly formed by protein (30%) and polysaccharide complexes. Thus, an alternative enzyme solution as denture cleanser is required for hydrolysis of denture plaque. Papain is a proteolytic enzyme hydrolyzing proteins, while β-1,3-glucanase is a hydrolase enzyme hydrolyzing polysaccharides. Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the differences of effectiveness of ß-1,3- glucanase Vigna unguiculata enzyme and papain Carica papaya enzyme in hydrolysis of denture plaque. Method: This research was a laboratory experimental research with post test only control group design. After using denture for 24 hours, the denture was soaked in a solution of 100 ml PBS, papain enzyme, and β 1-3 glucanase enzyme at a concentration of 0.5 mg/ml, 1 mg/ml, and 2 mg/ml for 10 minutes. The solution from plaque hydrolysis was soaked in PBS and vortex enzyme for 2 minutes, then soaked in ice water for 15 minutes, and centrifuged at 3000 rpm 5-10º for 10 minutes. The supernatant was separated and analyzed. Turbidity readings then were performed in spectrofotometer with a wavelength of 480 nm. Result: 2 mg/ml of ß-1,3 glucanase enzyme generated the highest values of hydrolysis with a mean percentage of 68.77% compared to papain enzyme (44.86 %). The lowest values of hydrolysis weregenerated by PBS with a mean percentage of 3.24%. Conclusion: ß-1,3-glucanase enzyme is more effective in hydrolysis of denture plaque than papain enzyme.

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><strong>Latar Belakang.  </strong>Di Indonesia angka kejadian penyakit kardiovaskuler menunjukkan peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun dan salah satu faktor resikonya adalah hiperlipidemia terutama hiperkolesterolemia. Penelitian menyatakan bahwa kandungan biji pepaya yang berpotensi menyebabkan efek hiperkolesterolemik adalah flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin. Pada skrining fitokimia untuk daun pepaya menunjukkan adanya alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, dan glukosida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pemberian ekstrak biji pepaya dan ekstrak daun pepaya terhadap kadar kolesterol total dan trigliserida tikus putih jantan galur wistar yang diberi diet tinggi lemak.</p><p><strong>Metode.</strong>  Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Post Test Only Control Group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah 32 ekor tikus Rattus norvegicus putih jantan yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok, yaitu kelompok control negative, kelompok hewan coba yang diberi diet tinggi lemak, kelompok hewan coba yang diberi diet tinggi lemak dan ekstrak daun papaya, dan kelompok hewan coba yang diberi diet tinggi lemak dan ekstrak biji papaya. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Biokimia Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya.</p><p><strong>Hasil. </strong> Hasil analisis Kruskal – Wallis dan One Way Anova test menunjukkan penurunan kadar trigliserida dan kolesterol total yang tidak signifikan pada kelompok yang diberi diet ekstrak daun pepaya dan kelompok yang diberi ekstrak biji pepaya (p &gt;0,05).</p><p><strong>Kesimpulan.</strong>  Pemberian ekstrak biji papaya dan ekstrak daun tidak menurunkan kadar kolesterol total dan trigliserida.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci :</strong> Trigliserida, Kolesterol Total, Diet Tinggi Lemak, Ekstrak Biji Pepaya, Ekstrak Daun Pepaya.</p>
