Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk : (i) mengkaji karakteristik vegetasi dan  kerusakan ekosistem hutan mangrove, dan (ii) mengkaji kondisi fisik-kimia ekosistem hutan mangrove. Metode perolehan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data karakteristik vegetasi diperoleh melalui metode transek dan petak contoh. Data ini dijadikan acuan dalam menentukan tingkat kerusakan ekosistem mangrove. Kondisi fisik-kimia diperoleh melalui pengukuran lapangan dan analisis laboratorium.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan INP paling tinggi untuk tingkat pohon terdapat pada  Xylocarpus rumphii (133,8%), yang dijumpai di Stasiun I. Spesies yang umumnya mendominasi pada tingkat pancang yaitu Sonneratia caseolaris, dengan INP 46,19% pada Stasiun III, sedangkan mayoritas spesies pada tingkat semai dan tumbuhan bawah yaitu Rhizophora mucronata, dengan INP 66,32% pada Stasiun II. Ekosistem mangrove untuk tingkat pohon termasuk dalam kategori rusak, dengan penutupan < 50% dan kerapatan < 1000 pohon/ha. Sementara, pada tingkat pancang, semai dan tumbuhan bawah, termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan kerapatan individu >1500 pohon/ha. Kondisi pH perairan dan suhu udara kurang mendukung untuk perkembangan dan pertumbuhan vegetasi mangrove, sedangkan parameter lain memiliki kondisi yang sudah sesuai.Kata kunci: ekosistem mangrove, fisik-kimia, INP, karakteristik vegetasiThis study aims to : (i) examined vegetation characteristic and the damage degree of mangrove ecosystems, (ii) examined the physical-chemical condition of mangrove ecosystems, and (iii) analyse the used of mangrove for environment and communities. This research is conducted in the surroundings mouth of Batang Manggung River, Pariaman Utara Subdistrict, Pariaman City. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Vegetation characteristic data obtained trough line transect and plot sampling. This data is used to be reference in determine the damage degree of mangrove ecosystems. Physical-chemical data obtained trough field measured and laboratorium analysis. The results show that the value of INP at highest rate for tree level was Xylocarpus rumphii (133,8%) at Stasiun I. The most dominated species for sapling is Sonneratia caseolaris, which 46,19% of INP at Stasiun III. The seedling and herbs dominate with  Rhizhophora mucronata, which 66,32% of INP at Stasiun II. The tree level include in damage category, which < 50% covered area and the density <1000 tree/ha. For sapling, seedling and herbs include in good category, which density was >1500 tree/ha. The water pH and air temperature had less support in extent and growth of mangrove, while the other parameter had suitable. Pesisir merupakan kawasan yang rentan mengalami penurunan kualitas perairan akibat masuknya bahan-bahan pencemar hasil aktivitas antropogenik dari daratan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengkaji kualitas perairan berdasarkan keanekaragaman meiofauna dan parameter fisika-kimia di pesisir Losari, Makassar. Selain itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh parameter fisika-kimia terhadap keanekaragaman meiofauna di dasar perairan. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data secara purposive sampling. Status kualitas perairan di pesisir Losari dikategorikan sebagai perairan yang tercemar berat, hal ini didasarkan pada tingkat keanekaragaman spesies meiofauna yang sangat rendah dan sebagian besar parameter fisika-kimia perairan yang tidak memenuhi baku mutu yang telah ditentukan oleh pemerintah RI melalui Kep. MLH. No. 51 Tahun 2004. Kecerahan, DO, Suhu, kedalaman, salinitas, dan nitrat sedimen merupakan parameter fisika-kimia yang berkorelasi positif atau berpengaruh terhadap tingkat keanekaragaman meiofauna. Adapun parameter lingkungan perairan yang berkorelasi negatif terhadap tingkat keanekaragaman meiofauna di pesisir Losari, diartikan sebagai hubungan yang tidak menguntungkan. Kondisi ini terjadi akibat meiofauna merasa terganggu atas sebaran fosfat sedimen, nitrat air laut, fosfat air laut, dan pH yang tidak memenuhi baku mutu air laut.ABSTRACTThe Coastal zone are susceptible to decreasing water quality due entry of pollutants from anthropogenic activities in the mainland. This study assessed water quality based on meiofauna diversity and physical-chemical parameters in the Losari coast, Makassar. Furthermore, this study was to analyze the physical-chemical parameters effect on the diversity of meiofauna at the seabed. It employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique. Water quality status on the Losari coast categorized as heavily polluted waters, this based on low level of meiofauna species diversity and most of the physical-chemical parameters does not meet the quality standards determined by Indonesian government through Kep. MLH. No. 51 of 2004. Brightness, DO, temperature, depth, salinity, and sediment nitrate are physical-chemical parameters positively correlated or influenced of meiofauna diversity level. The aquatic environmental parameters negatively correlated with meiofauna diversity level in the Losari coast are interpreted as an unfavorable relationship. This condition occurs because the meiofauna feel disturbed by distribution of sedimentary phosphate, seawater nitrate, seawater phosphate, and pH that does not meet seawater quality regulations.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biodiversitas burung pada habitat perkebunan kelapa di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan dari bulan Desember 2017 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2018 di perkebunan kelapa di Desa Maumbi, Desa Tatelu dan Desa Pinili  Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara.  Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei. Teknik penentuan petak contoh menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Petak contoh ditentukan sebanyak 3 transek berbentuk garis transek (line transect) dengan panjang masing-masing transek 2000 m dan lebar 20 m dengan pengambilan data sebanyak 5 kali. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil sebanyak 23 jenis burung dengan indeks biodiversitas sebesar 2.76, dari 23 jenis burung tersebut diketahui jumlah jenis burung yang dianggap kurang mengkhawatirkan (LC) terdapat 21 jenis burung, sedangkan status rentan (VU) terdapat 1 jenis yaitu Penelopides exarhatus dan status hampir punah (NT) terdapat satu jenis yaitu Accipiter nanus.Kata kunci: biodiversitas, burung, perkebunan kelapa, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Abstract Birds buy places or spaces that are used to find food, drink, shelter, play, and breed. This study aims to analyze biodiversity in coconut plantation habitat in North Minahasa Regency. Data collection was carried out from December 2017 to March 2018 in coconut plantations, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province in Maumbi Village, Tatelu Village, Pinili Village. Data retrieval is done using the survey method. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method which is a sample selection technique with certain considerations. Sample plots are determined by 3 transects, forming line transects (line transects) with the length of each transect of 2000 m and width of 20 m by taking data 5 times. Based on research conducted in plantation habitats, North Minahasa Regency obtained research on species of birds on plantations in North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, which consisted of 23 species of birds with a biodiversity index of 2.76, of 23 species of birds there are according to the type of bird that is considered less alarming (LC) there are 21 species of birds, while the vulnerable status (VU) there is 1 type, Penelopides exarhatus and the status is almost extinct (NT) there is 1 type, Accipiter nanus. Keywords: biodiversity, birds, coconut plantations, North Minahasa Regency.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2012 di Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling artinya sesuai dengan namanya, sampel diambil dengan maksud atau tujuan tertentu. Kuadran transek berukuran 1 x 1 m diletakkan jarak 10 meter dari satu plot ke plot berikutnya dengan arah tegak lurus garis pantai sampai ke tubir atau daerah yang pertumbuhan makroalganya sangat jarang, kemudian dengan menggunakan line transek sepanjang 100 meter ditarik tegak lurus dari garis pantai ke arah tubir. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah kelimpahan Lambis yang didapatkan pada Pulau Pramuka selama penelitian seluruhnya ada 21 individu, dengan jumlah total pada Stasiun 1 yaitu 11 individu, pada Stasiun 2 dengan jumlah 2 individu dan Stasiun yang ke 3 dengan jumlah 8 individu. Spesies Lambis spp. yang ditemukan saat penelitian yaitu Lambis crocata, Lambis lambis, Lambis scorpius, dan Lambis chiragra dengan komposisi Lambis crocata 52 %, Lambis lambis 29 %, Lambis scorpius 14 % dan yang paling rendah yaitu Lambis chiragra dengan 5 %. Jenis-jenis makroalga yang ditemukan adalah spesies Sargassum sp, Halimeda sp, Padina sp, Caulerpa sp dan Euchema sp.Kata kunci : Gastropoda (Lambis spp.), Makroalga, Pulau PramukaAbstractThe study was conducted on April 2012 at Pramuka Island, Seribu Island, Jakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method means that as the name suggests, the samples were taken with the intent or purpose. Transect quadrant 1 x 1 m placed a distance of 10 meters from one plot to the next plot in the direction perpendicular to the shoreline or the edge of a growth area macroalgae very rarely, and then using the line transect along the 100 meter perpendicular drawn from the shoreline to the edge. The results obtained are found in abundance Lambis the Pramuka Island during the study a total of 21 individuals, with the total at Station 1 is 11 individuals, at Station 2 with 2 individuals and the number of stations 3 were 8 individuals. Species of Lambis spp. found during the study are Lambis crocata, Lambis lambis, Lambis scorpius, and Lambis chiragra with the composition Lambis crocata 52%, Lambis lambis 29%, Lambis scorpius 14% and the lowest is Lambis chiragra by 5%. The species of macroalgae found are Sargassum sp, Halimeda sp, Padina sp, Caulerpa sp and Euchema sp.Keywords : Gastropods (Lambis spp.), Macroalgae, Pramuka Island

Abstract Vitex sp and Peronema canescens Jack have long been known by local people in East Kalimantan Province as traditional medicines for fever, cold, diarrhea, hypertension and malaria. Now it is widely used as an alternative medicine for Covid 19 whose symptoms are fever and colds. Although the use of anti-Covid-19 drugs should be studied further, it is very important to know information on the potential and distribution of Vitex sp and Peronema canescens Jack in East Kalimantan. This research was conducted by collecting vegetation data from the seedling level to the tree level, using inventory method on research plots that were established scattered on secondary dryland forest cover in East Kalimantan with purposive sampling technique measuring 20 x 100 meters. The results showed there were 54 individuals of Vitex sp with 36 individuals at the tree level, 16 individuals at the pole level and 2 individuals at the sapling level. Based on density, the distribution of Vitex sp commonly found at the pole vegetation level. Peronema canescens Jack totaled 66 individuals with details of 29 individuals at the tree level, 25 individuals at the pole level, 7 individuals at the sapling level and there were 5 individuals at the seedling level. Based on density, the distribution of Peronema canescens Jack was found at the seedling and sapling levels. The stand volume of Vitex sp is 19.66 m3, with the average of potential volume of 3.61 m3 ha−1 and the highest potential is at the pole level. The stand volume of Peronema canescens Jack is 8.99 m3, with an average of potential volume of 3.22 m3 ha−1, and the highest potential is at the pole level at 5.26 m3 ha−1. The presence of Vitex sp and Peronema canescens Jack trees in secondary dryland forest in East Kalimantan can be a genetic resource for the cultivation of Vitex sp and Peronema canescens Jack trees as anti-COVID 19 plants in East Kalimantan.

Fires that often occur on peatlands in Jawai District can result in a reduction in various vegetation, one of which is fern. This study aims to obtain data on the diversity of terrestrial ferns (Pteridophyta) in open peatland in Sarang Burung Kolam Village, Jawai District, Sambas Regency. The study was conducted using a survey method with double plot sampling technique. Plots were placed on each open peat land that was burned and unburned. Laying of plots was carried out by purposive sampling in areas where many types of ferns were found. The plot area used is 5 m x 5 m divided into 25 sample sub-plots with a size of 1 m x 1 m. The results showed that in the burned and unburned land found 3 species of the same fern, Paku resam (Gleichenia linearis), Paku lemiding (Stenochlena palustris), Paku ceceran (Nephrolepis falcata). The diversity of fern species on open peatland in the Sarang Burung Kolam Village of Jawai District, Sambas Regency is relatively low.Keywords: Dominance, Diversity, Ferns, Peatlands

Studi memperkirakan emesis gravidarum terjadi pada 50-90% kehamilan. Mual muntah pada kehamilan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi tubuh dimana ibu menjadi lemah, pucat dan cairan tubuh berkurang sehingga darah menjadi kental (hemokonsentrasi). Keadaan ini dapat memperlambat peredaran darah dan berakibat pada kurangnya suplay oksigen serta makanan ke jaringan sehingga dapat membahayakan kesehatan ibu dan janin. Salah satu terapi yang aman dan dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi keluahan mual muntah pada ibu hamil adalah pemberian aromaterapi lemon. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas aroma terapi lemon untuk menangani emesis gravidarum. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi experiment  dengan  one group pre-post test design. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil yang mengalami emesis gravidarum di Kecamatan Berbah, Sleman. Jumlah sampel 20 ibu hamil trimester pertama yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran mual muntah dilakukan debelum dan setelah  pemberian aromaterapi lemon menggunakan Indeks Rhodes. Analisa data menggunakan uji Paired t-test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata skor mual muntah sebelum pemberian aromaterapi lemon berdasarkan Indeks Rhodes pada Ibu Hamil dengan emesis gravidarum yaitu 22,1 dan terjadi penurunan skor setelah pemberian aromaterapi lemon menjadi 19,8. Ada pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi lemon dengan pengurangan mual muntah pada ibu hamil (p-value = 0.017). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan pemberian aromaterapi lemon efektif untuk mengurangi emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester pertama.  Kata kunci: aromaterapi lemon, emesis gravidarum THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LEMON AROMATHERAPY FOR HANDLING EMESIS GRAVIDARUM   ABSTRACT Studies estimate that nausea and vomiting (emesis gravidarum) occur in 50 – 90% of pregnancies. Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy have a significant impact on the body in which it makes a mother becomes weak, pale, and decreasing body fluid so that the blood becomes thick (hemoconcentration). This situation can slow down blood circulation and inflict the lack of oxygen and food supplies to the body tissues so that it can endanger the health of the mother and fetus. One of the therapies that is safe and can be conducted to reduce nausea and vomiting of pregnancy is by giving the lemon aromatherapy treatment. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the aroma of lemon therapy to deal with emesis gravidarum. This study applied quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was pregnant women who experienced emesis gravidarum. Furthermore, samples were 20 mothers from Berbah, Sleman taken by using a purposive sampling technique. Nausea and vomiting were assessed between before and after giving lemon aromatherapy using the Rhodes Index. The data were analyzed using the paired t-test. The mean score of nausea and vomiting before giving lemon aromatherapy on mother with emesis gravidarum based on the Rhodes Index was 22.1. However, it decreased after given lemon aromatherapy treatment to 19.8. Therefore, there was an effect on giving lemon aromatherapy treatment toward the decrease of nausea and vomiting for pregnant women (p-value = 0.017). Lemon aromatherapy is effective to reduce emesis gravidarum.  Keywords: lemon aromatherapy, emesis gravidarum

The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship among Narcissism, personality traits and conspicuous consumption of brands in youth. This used quantitative research design with a sample consisting of 50 Men and 50 Women. The age ranged between 18 – 22 years. A purposive sampling technique was used to select participants. The findings revealed that there was a relationship among conspicuous consumption and traits of personality. It was also uncovered that there are gender differences in conspicuous consumption of brands, narcissism and personality traits. Further it was concluded that narcissism is positively associated with conspicuous consumption of brands. Narcissism was likely to be a positive predictor of conspicuous consumption of brands and personality traits are likely to be a predictor of conspicuous consumption of brands.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran logo halal dan iklan media sosial Instagram terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kosmetik.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen wanita yang menggunakan kosmetik Wardah di Bandar Lampung, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran logo halal, dan iklan media sosial Instagram berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial maupun silmultan terhadap keputusan pembelian kosmetik. Kehalalan dapat menjadi branding yang semakin kuat, jika didukung dengan promosi melalui media sosial, yang mampu menjangkau segmentasi pasar yang lebih luas terhadap produk lokal.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of Awareness of the Halal Logo and Instagram Social Media Ads on Wardah Cosmetics Purchasing Decisions. This type of research used in this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is female consumers who use Wardah cosmetics in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. The data was obtained from a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of this study explain that Awareness of the Halal Logo, and Instagram Social Media Ads significantly influence Wardah Cosmetics Purchasing Decisions. Simultaneous testing results showed that Halal Logo Awareness and Instagram Social Media Ads had a significant effect on Wardah Cosmetics Purchasing Decisions.

The present study is aimed at developing effective guidance program for increasing student’s learning motivation. The present study applies quantitative research approach with nonequivalent pre-posttest control group quasi-experimental design, and nonrandom-purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using inventory, interview, and documentary study. The study comes up with the main finding that the tested guidance program is proven to be effective for increasing learning motivation students of 11th grade at SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung.

Kejadian dismenorea primer di Indonesia sekitar 54,89%, sisanya 45,11% dismenorea sekunder. Dismenorea primer  pada siswi SMP X dari 35 siswi 25 siswi mengalami disminor bila haid. Salah satu pengobatan dismenorea secara non-farmakologis yaitu hipnoterapi. Hipnoterapi merupakan salah satu cara yang mudah, cepat, efektif, dan efisien dalam menjangkau pikiran bawah sadar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea pada siswi SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test-post-test. Jumlah populasi yang didapat 117 orang dan jumlah sampel yang diambil 20 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari responden dengan menggunakan alat ukur Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS). Analisis data melalui dua tahapan, yaitu univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji t-dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata skala dismenorea sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 6,50 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah diberikan intervensi adalah 1,35, terdapat pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea (t=17,596, p-value= 0,001). Hipnoterapi dapat disarankan untuk diterapkan sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk mengatasi dismenorea.Kata kunci: Dismenorea primer, hipnoterapi, SMP.Effect of Hypnotherapy on Alleviating Primary Dysmenorrhea in Junior High School StudentsAbstractThe incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia amounts to approximately 54.89%, while another 45.11% is secondary dysmenorrhea. 25 out of 35 female students at SMP Patriot Bangsa (Patriot Bangsa Junior High School) experience primary dysmenorrhea when menstruating. One of nonpharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is an easy, fast, effective, and efficient way to treat dysmenorrhea by reaching the subconcious. This research aimed to identify the effect of hypnotherapy on dysmenorrhea in junior high school students. This research used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest- posttest design. The population of this research was 117 students and 20 students were chosen as sample with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from respondents using Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS) instrument. Data were analyzed in two steps, univariate and bivariate with t-dependent test. The results showed that the average value of dysmenorrhea before intervention is 6.5 and after intervention is 1.35. Hypnotherapy was found to have an effect on dysmenorrhea (t=17,596, p-value 0,001). It was suggested to the school that they should conduct nonpharmacological interventions such as hypnotherapy as treatment of dysmennorhea.Key words: Dysmenorrhea primer, hypnotherapy, SMP.
