Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk memahami tentang bentuk musik ritmik Gong Timor dalam upacara ritual Tfua Ton berdasarkan elemen-elemen irama yang terkandung didalamnya serta memahami lebih dalam tentang makna simbolik Gong Timor dalam upacara ritual Tfua Ton. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui proses reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, bentuk musik Gong Timor terdiri dari beberapa elemen irama yaitu ketukan, aksen dan pola irama. Makna simbolik yang terkandung pada Gong Timor dalam upacara ritual Tfua Ton yaitu sebagai simbol komunikasi, keperkasaan, karakter dan identitas masyarakat Desa Napan. Simbol tersebut dimaknai dengan adanya perjuangan masyarakat dalam memperjuangkan kehidupan dan kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Dalam ritual tersebut Gong timor dimaknai sebagai penghubung antara masyarakat dengan para leluhur dan alam yang mendiami tempat tersebut. Gong Timor tersebut mamiliki makna simbolik yang hanya bisa dipahami oleh masyarakat setempat. Gong Timor dalam upacara ritual Tfua Ton telah menjadi satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. The purpose of this research is to understand the rhythmic musical form of Timor Gong in the Tfua Ton ritual based on the rhythm elements contained therein and to understand more deeply the symbolic meaning of Gong Timor in the Tfua Ton ritual. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research design with phenomenology. Research data were collected using observation, interview and document study techniques. Data analysis technique is done through the process of reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that, the Timor Gong music form consists of several elements of rhythm namely beats, accents and rhythm patterns. The symbolic meaning contained in the Gong Timor in the Tfua Ton ritual ceremony is as a symbol of communication, might, character and identity of the people of Napan Village. The symbol is interpreted by the struggle of the community in fighting for the lives and economic needs of the local community. In the ritual Gong timor is interpreted as a liaison between the community and the ancestors and nature who inhabit the place. The Timor Gong has a symbolic meaning that can only be understood by the local community. This study aims to explain, describe and analyze patterns of partnership between government, the private sector and civil society in the development of oil palm plantations as well as factors inhibiting and supporting factors. The research method using descriptive qualitative research. Data analysis technique is done through data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that a partnership with a core pattern of plasma and partnership schemes MSA (Management One-Stop), KKPA (Primary Cooperatives Members), IGA (Income Generating Activity).There is a limiting factor and driving force in the partnership. Obstacle factor is lack of knowlegde about partnership and obligations in the course of partnerships at every actor partnership, conflict, limited land, in-consistency of each actor in the partnership, the decline in palm oil prices. The push factor is the regulatory and price.

Abstract The responsibility of religious education is the most important responsibility for parents and educators, because it is the center of all resources. However, in practice there are still many educators who do not pay attention to the religious education of their students, they prioritize education that is only worldly. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic education in Kuttab students is going well. Opportunities for the application of Islamic education to Kuttab students starting from the education system, curriculum, and teachers are extraordinary in maximizing education for children. However, it also has challenges that greatly affect children's education, namely gadgets, games and shows that are not beneficial to children, so it greatly influences the education of their faith. The advantages of the implementation of Islamic education in Kuttab, namely that children have begun to form creeds according to their age. While the drawbacks are that the application and understanding of Islamic education in Kuttab are not comprehensive and agree on all teachers and the environment that does not support the concepts that have been implanted in Kuttab. Abstrak Tanggung jawab pendidikan akidah merupakan tanggung jawab terpenting bagi para orang tua dan pendidik, karena ia merupakan pusat segala sumber. Namun dalam prakteknya masih banyak pendidik yang kurang memperhatikan pendidikan akidah peserta didiknya, mereka lebih mengutamakan pendidikan yang hanya bersifat duniawi saja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah thematic analysis. Hasil penelitian dalam kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan akidah pada santri Kuttab berjalan dengan baik. Peluang penerapan pendidikan akidah pada santri Kuttab mulai dari sistem pendidikan, kurikulum, dan guru-gurunya sangatlah luar biasa dalam memaksimalkan pendidikan pada anak-anak. Namun, juga memiliki tantangannya yang sangat mempengaruhi pendidikan anak yaitu gadget, game dan tontonan-tontonan yang tidak bermanfaat bagi anak sehingga sangat mempengaruhi pendidikan imannya. Adapun kelebihan implementasi pendidikan akidah di Kuttab yaitu anak-anak sudah mulai terbentuk akidah sesuai dengan usianya. Sedangkan kekurangannya yaitu penerapan serta pemahaman pendidikan akidah di Kuttab belum menyeluruh dan sependapat pada semua guru serta lingkungan yang tidak mendukung dengan  konsep-konsep yang telah ditanamkan di Kuttab.

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of local government leadership based on the wisdom of Sundanese culture in Purwakarta Regency in the period 2008-2018. This study uses a qualitative research design, research data collection techniques using documentation studies, interviews and observations. The results of this study found that the leadership of the Purwakarta Regent in the period 2008-2018 based on Sundanese culture local wisdom with the concept of Sunda Dasa Prasanta's leadership could be accepted and supported by the majority of the people of Purwakarta Regency. In his leadership, there are dynamics that cause polemics and pros and cons in the community, but the dynamics that arise can be resolved properly by communicating and holding communication forums. The "Sundanese Style Harmony" leadership model is an ideal formula as an alternative to the existing leadership model that emphasizes harmony and balance between Sundanese Religion and Culture, where the position of Religion and Culture is balanced, none are relatively higher or lower.

Research on religion and socio-economic changes in the community around the Gunung Padang site, Karyamukti Village, Campaka District, Cianjur Regency originated from the emergence of a local community in carrying out its religion and culture in the form of socio-economic changes. The focus of the research reveals how religious the people around the Gunung Padang site are. How is the socio-economic culture of the community around Mount Padang with the Gunung Padang site, as well as how the religious and socio-economic changes of the community after the restoration (excapation) of the Gunung Padang site. This study uses a qualitative research method, to analyze the religious relationship between the community and the socio-economic culture of the community around ancient sites using a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that the religion of the people around the site is greatly influenced by the process of combining religious understanding and local culture that has been hereditary. The form is through religious expressions, namely belief (theology), ritual (rites) and community (community).

This study aims to revealed the beliefs and ideological contradictions in the short story “Cerita Lama Negara Suka dan Negara Neka” creation Jelsyah Dauleng. This research is based on fictional thoughts and ideas (short story) is a reflection of the writer's thoughts to the world of reality of the people being referred. Language and symbols in the short story, meaningful that needs to be expressed. The object of this research material is short story “Cerita Lama Negara Suka dan Negara Neka” published by Harian Haluan, 10 February 2019. This study uses a sociological approach, to reveal issue and social aspects contained in the short story, specifically enter the realm of Gramsci's hegemony. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Research data obtained from the short story text (words, phrases, sentences) that are relevant to Gramsci's ideology, beliefs, social aspects and hegemony. The research data is then interpreted according to the approach used, then presented descriptively. The results of the research on this short story showed that there was a conflict between group members then each group separated and created their respective countries. Conflict and the separation of the two countries Successfully muted because of group members Negara Neka trust belief Negara Suka, namely a life full of peace, kindness, and other realms. Trust Negara Neka to Negara Suka finally fade after a disaster. Group Negara Neka returned to the ideology it believed.

This toponymy study discusses the origin names of beaches in Tanjungsari Subdistrict, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta which are spread in three villages, namely Kemadang, Ngestirejo, and Banjarejo. This research aims to documents the naming of beaches in the area and classifies the naming into three presuppositions meaning based on Nyström’s theory, which are categorical, associative, and emotive meaning. This study used a qualitative research method. Research data were collected by means of observation and interviews with Village Hall officials and the community. The results of this study can be used to add information that can be conveyed to tourists. The results showed that categorical meaning on the beaches in Tanjungsari District is dominated by geographical condition, while the least is people’s name category. Associative presupposition meaning is dominated by neutral associative meaning, which are sea and conditions geographical. Meanwhile, the least dominant meaning of the associative presupposition is positive associative meaning. The dominant meaning of the emotive presupposition is the emotive meaning positive, which is happy. The least dominating out of the emotive presupposition meaning is the neutral emotive presupposition. Most beach naming comes from Javanese. This is influenced by the language spoken by most local community

This study aims at describing how the teachers teach reading comprehension of narrative text to the tenth grade students in Sibolangit and revealing the underlying reasons of why do they do that way. This study was conducted by using qualitative research design. The subject of this study were two english teachers who taught at tenth grade students of two SMA in Sibolangit they are : SMA Negeri  1 Sibolangit  and SMA RK Deli Murni Bandar Baru in academic year 2016/ 2017. The data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The  technique of collecting the data was recorded from the classroom process in teaching reading comprehension of narrative text. The findings of the study show that most of teachers’ ways are not yet focusing on teaching reading comprehension but rather focusing teaching the knowledge of genre. The underlying reason of the teachers’ ways in teaching reading comprehension did not facilitate reading comprehension. It was due to the misperception of the concept of teaching reading comprehension.  Keywords : Teaching,Reading Comprehension,Narrative Text.

This article discusses the poem "Sajak Pertemuan Mahasiswa" by W.S. Rendra. The discussion of this poem is motivated by efforts and efforts to apply the concept of poetry structure put forward by Lévi-Strauss. The description of the structure of this poem aims to display the structure of the poem consisting of the outer structure (surface structure) and the inner structure (deep structure). The outer structures that will be discussed are forms of text, diction, and sound, while the inner structures that will be discussed are imagery, compounds, and themes. The method used in this study is descriptive of analytics with a type of qualitative research, namely placing the text of poetry as the object and research data. Data collection techniques are done by identifying, classifying, and recording. Data anlysis is done by meaning direct and directed content. Analysis is done by discussing the structure of poetry consisting of text, diction, and sound, imagery, compounds, and themes. The results showed that the structure of Lévi-Strauss poetry can determine the overall meaning and message of poetry. The use of blank verse, simple diction, dominance of vocal sounds /a/, thought imagery, and metaphorical-rhetorical majas refers to the theme of "openness". This theme can be interpreted very broadly, namely openness to justice, education, employment, income, and livelihood. This openness is tried by students as agents of change and a bridge between the government and the people.

This research was going to described the role of Banyumas Democracy Volunteer ( Relawan Demokrasi Banyumas) in increasing political public partitipation in Banyumas’s legislative election 2014 and its implication to Banyumas’s political resilience. This research used qualitative research design as a research method. Data were collected by in depth review, observation and documentation. This research used purpossive sampling technique with stakeholder sampling variant to pick informants. The research showed that Banyumas Democracy Volunteer had a positive role in developing political resilience in Banyumas. Their role was gave political education and election education to voters in Banyumas. In the other words, Banyumas Democracy Volunteer had a vital role in developing ideal political resilience in Banyumas.Keywords: Banyumas Democracy Volunteer, Democracy, Election, Political Resilience of Region.
