PENDEKATAN NEO VERNAKULAR PADA PENGOLAHAN BENTUK ATAP PASAR WISATA KOTA BATU SEBAGAI EFISISENSI PELESTARIAN

Bentuk atap ciri neo-vernakular menjadi karakter utama bangunan di wilayah pulau jawa dan sekitarnya. Bentuk atap merupakan penyesuian dari lingkungan sekitar dan perkembagannya. Perancangan bangunan pasar wisata perlu menampilkan karakter lokal tersebut dengan pendekatan neo-vernakular melalui pengolahan bentuk atapnya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk atap pada perancangan Pasar Wisata Kota Batu. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode berupa studi literatur serta membuat alternatif desain bentuk atap bangunan dengan prinsip Arsitektur Neo-Vernakular. Hasil eksplorasi ini menghasilkan desain bentuk atap kota batu berdasarkan modifikasi bentuk atap pelana dengan atap silang.The shape of the neo-vernacular roof is the main character of the building in the area of Java Island and its surroundings. The shape of the roof is an adjustment of the surrounding environment and development. The design of the tourist market building needs to display the local character with a neo-vernacular approach through the processing of the roof shape. This paper aims to explore the shape of the roof in the design of the Batu City Tourism Market. To achieve this goal, this research uses a method in the form of a literature study as well as an alternative design of the building roof shape with the principles of Neo-Vernacular Architecture. The results of this exploration resulted in the design of the shape of the stone city roof based on the modification of the shape of the gable roof with a cross roof.

ABSTRAK Tulisan ini membahas mengenai gender yang terdapat pada film Salah Bodi melalui semiotika Metz. Pengamatan gender pada tokoh utama yaitu Farhan (Andien) dan Inong (Indra). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu telaah dokumen, studi pustaka, dan wawancara. Hasil dari tulisan ini adalah (a). Menghasilkan pemaparan dari analisis menggunakan semiotika Christian Metz pada film Salah Bodi. Delapan grand sintagmatiknya yaitu Autonomous Shot, Parallel Syntagma, Descriptive Syntagma, Alternating Syntagma, Scene, Episodic Sequence, dan Ordinary Sequence terkandung dalam film Salah Bodi kecuali sintagma kurung (Bracket Syntagma). Rangkaian sintagmatik Metz mengungkap adegan-adegan yang berdasarkan atas gender dan bertujuan untuk menunjukkan kepada penonton identitas gender dari tokoh film (b). gender yang ditampilkan dalam film Salah Bodi memiliki kecenderungan berprilaku tersendiri seperti penampilan fisik, orientasi seksual, kebiasaannya, dan respon sosial dari masyarakat. Meskipun di akhir film ditunjukkan tokoh utama kembali ke kodrat aslinya. Dalam pembahasan ini juga didukung oleh argumen dari pelaku di luar film. Kata kunci: Gender, Film Salah Bodi, Semiotika Christian Metz. ABSTRACT This paper discusses about gender contained in film Salah Bodi through Metz semiotics. The observation of gender is focused on the main characters, Farhan (Andien) and Inong (Indra). The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques namely document review, literature study, and interview. The re-sults of this paper are (a). A presentation of the analysis using Christian Metz’s semiotics on the film Salah Bodi. The eight grand syntagmatic namely Autonomous Shot, Parallel Syntagma, Descriptive Syntagma, Alternating Syntagma, Scene, Episodic Sequence, and Ordinary Sequence are contained in the film Salah Bodi except Brackets Syntagm (Bracket Syntagma). The Metz’s syntagmatic sequence reveals the scenes based on gender and aims to show the audience the gender identity of the film character (b). the gender shown in the film Salah Bodi has a tendency to behave in isolation such as physical appearance, sexual orientation, habits, and social responses from the community, even though at the end of the film, the main character is shown back to his original nature. <div class="WordSection1">The skills that must be mastered in the 21st century were creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. This was in line with Bloom's theory that creativity was the highest ability in aspects of cognitive development. Therefore important creativity was given to Early Childhood Education. Early childhood learning to stimulate creativity was done through various approaches. The approach applied didn’t yet refer to the needed analysis that was in accordance with the standards of early childhood learning. The approach to stimulating the creativity of early childhood needed to be refined by referring to the stages of the child, namely learning through play. Playing must be able to stimulate the goals to be achieved. The application of playing based on reggio emilia’s approach to stimulate the development of early childhood creativity. The method used was literature study by conducting a study of books and journals. The results of the analysis of theoretical studies state that playing based on reggio emillia’s approach could help stimulated children's creativity after an early age. This was because the aplication of playing based on reggio emillia’s approach prioritizes children's freedom in exploring the surrounding environment. This exploration activity will actively foster children's imagination. Playing based on reggio emilia’s approach involves an active role in early childhood. Creativity requires space to move and playing based on the reggio emillia approach as the right link to help stimulated early childhood creativity.</div>

Geographic information systems (GIS) provide accurate maps of terrain, roads, waterways, and building footprints and heights. Aircraft, particularly small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), can exploit this and additional information such as building roof structure to improve navigation accuracy and safely perform contingency landings particularly in urban regions. However, building roof structure is not fully provided in maps. This paper proposes a method to automatically label building roof shape from publicly available GIS data. Satellite imagery and airborne LiDAR data are processed and manually labeled to create a diverse annotated roof image dataset for small to large urban cities. Multiple convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures are trained and tested, with the best performing networks providing a condensed feature set for support vector machine and decision tree classifiers. Satellite image and LiDAR data fusion is shown to provide greater classification accuracy than using either data type alone. Model confidence thresholds are adjusted leading to significant increases in models precision. Networks trained from roof data in Witten, Germany and Manhattan (New York City) are evaluated on independent data from these cities and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

(Title: Representation of Hero’s Journey on Main Character Chihiro in Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away Anime) This paper is the result of a qualitative descriptive type of literature study. The purpose of this study was to reveal the heroic journey process of main character of Spirited Away anime named Chihiro, based on the Hero’s Journey theory proposed by Vogler. Data about Chihiro's heroic journey are obtained from anime with note taking techniques. The method used in the analysis is the method of content analysis based on the theory of Hero's Journey. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the main character Chihiro has undergone a total of the twelve stages of the hero’s journey. Chihiro's adventure has succeeded in changing her personality which was initially timid, spoiled, and whiny to be brave, independent, calm and confident, and full of compassion. Chihiro's heroic journey proves the true definition of a hero according to Vogler, while also proving that to win a fight does not always use physical strength. There are times when thinking intelligence and emotional intelligence are much more needed. In addition, this anime also features a lot of kamisama which was once believed by the Japanese. Miyazaki might want to remind again about the existence of Japanese gods by displaying them in this anime, either those actually found in Japanese mythology or Miyazaki's own creations. Thus, the story of Spirited Away which has a mythical structure as stated by Vogler becomes much more alive and interesting.

Abstrak:Sikap peduli lingkungan merupakan suatu sikap dan tindakan yang selalu berupaya mencegah kerusakan pada lingkungan di sekitar dan mengembangkan upaya-upaya untuk memperbaiki kerusakan yang terjadi. Melalui sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar tidak sekedar mengetahui pentingnya menjaga lingkungan tetapi juga menguatkan rasa keingintahuan bagaimana cara menjaga lingkungan. Karenanya perlu sebuah model pembelajaran guna mewujudkan terbentuknya sikap peduli lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Adapun tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep model pembelajaran discovery learning guna membentuk sikap peduli lingkungan pada siswa di sekolah dasar. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode studi literatur. Melalui model pembelajaran discovery learning membuat siswa mampu menggunakan kemampuan intelektualnya guna memecahkan cara menjaga lingkungan sekitarnya.Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning; Model Pembelajaran; Sikap Peduli Lingkungan. Abstract:Environmental care is an attitude and action that always seeks to prevent damage to the surrounding environment and develop efforts to repair the damage. Through a caring attitude for the environment, elementary school students do not only know the importance of protecting the environment but also strengthen their curiosity about how to protect the environment. Therefore we need a learning model in order to realize the formation of environmental care attitudes in elementary school students, namely using discovery learning learning model. The purpose of this paper is to describe the concept of discovery learning learning model in order to form a caring attitude towards students in elementary schools. This paper uses a literature study method. Through the discovery learning model, students are able to use their intellectual abilities to solve ways of protecting their surroundings..Keywords: Discovery Learning; Learning Model; Environmental Care Attitude.

This study aims to examine social justice and human rights from the government’s perspective to promote Sustainable Development as well as from an agricultural perspective. This research method is qualitative research with literature study. literature study is carried out to find out various distances or findings that have not been found in previous research as a comparison in conducting current research. The literature findings show that some of the main topics appear most frequently based on data from Scopus, vosviewer and Nvivo12 plus. The results of this study of Global Governance of Human Rights with a total of 78 documents, but it is not comparable to the reality on the ground; namely, there are still many cases of human rights, racism and conflicts between black and white groups. Second, Global Human Rights Governance has an important role in the methodology of human rights analysis. From the perspective of global governance, the concept of sustainability is correlated with the idea of human rights such as the emergence of development in rural communities’ agricultural land which causes changes in their livelihoods as farmers which affect the economy and the surrounding environment. The result of the research shows that the idea of pesantren modernization should be able to develop a proper appreciation of all the developments that occur in the present and future, so that it can produce a broad-minded scholar, but must retain the main character of producing ulama and tafaqquh fiddien center without carrying the flow of globalization Abstrak Eksistensi pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang memiliki keunggulan baik dari aspek tradisi keilmuannya maupun sisi transmisi dan intensitas umat Islam terancam oleh adanya arus globaisasi. Berdasar studi pustaka, tulisan ini bermaksud untuk menuliskan gagasan Azyumardi Azra tentang modernisasi pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan modernsasi pesantren harus bisa menumbuhkan apresiasi yang sepatutnya terhadap semua perkembangan yang terjadi di masa kini dan mendatang, sehingga dapat memproduksi ulama yang berwawasan luas, namun harus tetap mempertahankan ciri utamanya yaitu memproduksi ulama dan pusat tafaqquh fiddien tanpa terbawa arus globalisasi.

Children today are more fun to play with friends with the internet through the gadget and computer media than playing and interacting directly. The purpose of this study is to remind children who are the nation's next generation not to forget their culture, especially traditional games and so that they are more familiar with their surroundings so they know each other with their peers. This research was written using a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach and with data and with literature study techniques. The results that will be made from this study are describing the situation that is happening in the surrounding environment, especially in the cultural aspect, namely about traditional children's games. In addition, this study includes suggestions for how to overcome so that the traditional games of children are not lost or extinct. The implication of this research is that children have started to change their attitude, which previously played only by using the gadget media, now they can play face to face with their peers

AbstractSurface morphology evolution of epitaxially grown CeO2(110) layers on Si(100) substrates is studied using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED). The surface has a faceted structure; a stripe-appearance and triangular-shape in plan- and cross-sectional views, respectively. AFM measurements clarify that as the layer thickness increases, the cross-sectional shape changes from a gable roof shape toward trapezoidal, which is consistent with RHEED analyses. The width of the facet monotonically increases with the layer thickness, while its height saturates at ∼5 nm above 600 nm in thickness, which means that the surface approaches smooth morphology. Ion channeling analyses indicate that the thicker the layer, the better the crystalline quality at the surface.
