The purpose of this study was to find out the mathematical communication skills of students during the scientific approach was applied using graphmatica software on function graph material in college. This research was an experimental study in the category of one group pretest posttest design involving 30 first semester students of mathematics education study program at STKIP Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. The results showed that students’ mathematical communication skills during the applied scientific approach using graphmatica software on function graph material were classified as very good. This means that the use of graphmatica software through the scientific approach can build students’ mathematical communication skills. Through the learning process based on a scientific approach consisting of observing, quetioning, associating, experimenting, and networking, students’ mathematical communication skills both verbally and in writing are classified as very good. For this reason, these activities have a positive influence on students. Beside building students’ mathematical communication this approach also influence students’ learning outcomes. Better the mathematical communication skills, better the learning outcomes. Therefore, building mathematical communication skills is very important in learning especially in learning through a scientific approach using graphmatica software. The use of graphmatica software can be used in other course such as calculus courses. So, graphmatica software can be used in other course so that it is not limited according to the design of the material to be implemented.

Mathematical communication skills are one of the abilities that students must have to make it easier to solve problems contained in mathematics itself and in everyday life. Because if students have mastered mathematical communication skills, it will make it easier for students to take deeper learning. This study aims to analyze the difficulty of students' mathematical communication skills using the Google Classroom Application in the Algebra course. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were tree semester students who took Algebra courses in the Mathematics Education study program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan, academic year 2020/2021 as many as 15 people. The instrument used in this study was Test and interview. The results showed that based on the test results obtained: difficulties in the ability to interpret mathematical ideas rationally in writing, difficulties in mathematical problems into mathematical models and difficulties in the ability to express mathematical ideas in the form of descriptions. Meanwhile, based on the results of the interview, namely: (1) technical difficulties, and (2) student adaptation difficulties. To overcome these difficulties, it is necessary which is a combination of Online and Offline learning or also called blended learning.

The purpose of this research is to improve mathematical communication skills through the Problem Posing learning model. The method used in this research is (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of the study were 11 students of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Bengkulu University 11 students in conference courses in odd semester 2019/2020. Stages of Study for Classroom Action are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results obtained after being given an action is an increase in student communication skills through the Problem Posing learning model compared to learning before that increase by 60.Keywords: Communication Ability, Problem Posing

This research was conducted at Mathematics Education Study Program at Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculties of IAIN Padangsidimpuan at the third semester 2018-2019 academic year. Research method used is quantitative method with bivariate comparative analysis approach aiming to find out the significant differences in students' mathematical communication skills in statistical subjects. The design of this research is a one short case study  comparing the result of two treatments after the post tests. The research was conducted in one classroom, in which one treatment preceding the other treatment with different materials yet contain similar components and difficulties. The result of the research shows that there is significant difference in ability of mathematical communication between problem based learning and project based learning with tcount > ttable: 3,673 > 2,042; in which PjBL is higher than PBL.  In conclusion, PjBL is significantly better than PBL in term of students’ ability in mathematical communication

This study aims to determine how students' mathematical communication skills apply blended learning in geometry courses. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills. The subjects research were second semester students of the Universitas Samudra, Mathematics Education study program. The results showed that blended learning was going well, it could be seen from the average percentage of communication skills students are on the writing indicator (written text) is 90% that belongs to the category very good,  drawing, is  80% which belongs to the category good and mathematical expressions is 65%  that also belongs to good category,. The conclusion of this research is that blended learning can develop mathematical communication skills.

This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Bandung Regency. This study aims to determine the comparison of the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Bandung regency between the learning usingmodels Think Talk Write. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design involving two groups and randomly selected classes, at the beginning and end of the study the two classes were given a test. The population in this study were junior high school students in the city of Bandung Regency, while the sample consisted of two randomly selected classes. Obtained class VII A (experimental class) given themodel Think Talk Write and class VII B (control class) is given a scientific approach. The instrument used was a 5-item mathematical communication ability description test, then theability scores mathematical communication students'were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the help of SPSS 21 software. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there were differences in the achievement of students' mathematical communication skills using models Think Talk Write with students who used a scientific approach.

This study was aimed to develop humanitarian project-based material for productive written language skills subject for English Education Study Program at UNIMED. Research and Development (R&D) was the design of this study with the subjects of the study were 25 students of first semester students of English Education Study Program at UNIMED. The research procedures were adapted from Borg and Gall’s research theory (1983) namely 1)gathering data and information, 2)need analysis, 3)designing course material, 4)validating and evaluating new course material by the Experts, 5)revising the course material and 6)final product. The instruments of collecting the data were questionnaire, interview and expert judgement questionnaire. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.. Based on the result of the expert judgement, the whole aspects of developed materials were in the range of 81-100% and were categorized as “very good”.

This study aims to determine learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study programs using virtual lab. This type of research is quantitative research. It uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential stattistics to illustrate data learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores using the virtual lab. Data collection techniques used in this study were test for learning outcomes and observatory techniques for the scientific attitude. From the results of descriptive analysis for learning outcomes, it shows that the average is 75,05 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,011 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the learning outcomes. For the scientific attitudes it shows that the average is 76,14 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,001 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores.Keywords: Virtual Lab, Learning Outcomes, Scientific AttitudePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores dengan menggunakan virtual laboratorium. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif , dengan analisis statistik deskfiptif dan statistik inferensial untuk menggambarkan hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores menggunakan Virtual Laboratorium. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar serta lembar observasi untuk mengukur sikap ilmiah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif untuk hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa adalah 75,05 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Karena nilai sig(2-tailed) 0,011 lebih kecil dari 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores. Untuk sikap ilmiah berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 76,14 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. This study aims to determine the students’ speaking skill before and after applying Guessing Game and find out the effect of Guessing Game on the students’ speaking skill at the first semester of English education study program of STAIN Bengkalis. This research is experimental research that involved 18 students at the first semester of English Education Study Program of STAIN Bengkalis. Speaking test was implemented in order to collect the students’ speaking performance, and the collected data were quantitatively analyzed. Guessing Game has a less significant effect in improving the students’ speaking skill at the first semester of English education study program of STAIN Bengkalis. This is evidenced by the results of t-o (1,3) smaller than t-table.

This research is a field experimental study that aims to find out the difference between the effects of non-ball smash exercises and silent ball smash exercises on the ability of volleyball smash on students of the FOK UNG Sports Coaching Education Study Program. The population and sample involved in this study were 60 students of the FOK UNG Sports Coaching Education Study Program. However, in accordance with the research design, two research groups were formed which consisted of ball-free smash exercises and silent ball smash exercises. The research was carried out for six weeks with frequency of exercise 3 times a week. Based on the results of data analysis using the paired t-test formula and the unpaired ttest at a significant level of 95%, it can be concluded as follows: There is a significant effect of smash training without the ball on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 8,869> tt = 2,045 ). There is a significant effect of the silent ball smash exercise on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 13,535> tt = 2,045). There is a significant difference in the effect between the smash ball practice without the ball and the silent ball smash exercise on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 8,259> tt = 2,000)
