The prevalence of hypertension has increased throughout the year. Hypertension spreads widely because of the lack of knowledge and a healthy lifestyle. People's lifestyle which is more practical has an impact on the implementation of inappropriate hypertension diets and triggers various diseases. Based on this phenomenon, it is necessary to increase public knowledge about hypertension diets. The purpose of this activity was to provide counseling about a low-salt diet as an effort to increase knowledge of hypertension patients. The method was done by giving counseling about low salt diet through lectures to 30 hypertension patients who were routinely monitored at the Panti Rahayu Clinic. The pre test showed that almost all of the hypertension patients (80%) were in the poor category of knowledge. The post test showed that after being given counseling the knowledge of hypertension patients increased almost half (46%) were in the good category. Knowledge of hypertension patients increased after getting information through counseling activities about a low salt diet. Suggestions for clinics are expected to hold regular and periodic health education or promotion programs to provide information so as to increase the knowledge of hypertension patients.

Background: WHO has officially decided Covid-19 as a pandemic. The Indonesian government has designated Covid-19 as a non-natural disaster in the form of a disease outbreak that needs to be addressed systematically in various ways, including involving all community members. In terms of the transmission pattern of Covid-19, which has spread in almost all regions of the province of Indonesia, the number of cases and the number of deaths is increasing every day and has an impact on health, political, social, economic, cultural and other aspects. Preventive action is a strategy to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The aim of this  community service  is that  after  receiving  health  education, people are aware the most important strategy is to use a mask, wash your hands and / or use a portable hand sanitizer (handsanitazier). Avoid touching their face and mouth after interacting with a potentially contaminated environment and keeping a distance from other people. Methods: Health education is carried out through lectures and discussions with the community using LCD media as well as leaflet distribution and distribution of masks by complying with health protocols such as participants using masks, maintaining distance and providing outdoor hand washing stations. The implementation of the activity begins with a pre-test, and ends with post-test measurements.The activity was carried out on January 2, 2021 with the target of all members of the community in Ngaglik District, Batu City, East Java. Results: As many as 20 participants were involved in the implementation of health education activities for the prevention of covid-19 transmission with the 3M movement. The activity can be carried out smoothly, the participants are enthusiastic and understand the material that has been delivered, it is proven when the presenter carries out the evaluation that the participants are able to answer the questions given well. Conclusion: health education activities for the prevention of covid-19 transmission with the 3M movement are effective in increasing public health insights and knowledge, creating public awareness to implement the 3M movement and self-awareness to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle.

There were some students that spit their saliva out of the windows and  spit their saliva out when they were in the classroom. There were also some teachers who were smoking in inappropriate place and some students who were throwing rubbish, such as candies wrap, anywhere. Teachers and students were still having low concern in maintaining the toilet and shower, hence the toilet and shower were still smelly and dirty. This activity was intended to implement “tri dharma perguruan tinggi” and to share the knowledge to other people, especially for students of SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran, Wonosobo.  Hopefully, at the end of this activity, the students would realize the importance of implementing clean and healthy living. This service activity was carried out in one day in July 2016, in SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran, Wonosobo, Central Java. The activities of clean and healthy behavior were not pre-tested but had been observed for two months. From two-months observation, there were still lots of food packages scattered everywhere. Therefore, it could be stated that the students of SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran were still lacking of clean and healthy behavior. The method of health education was performed through mass counseling. The students were collected in the hall, given material using Microsoft PowerPoint with lectures as well as discussion. Then, followed by post-test to find out whether the material provided was useful in increasing knowledge and applying clean and healthy lifestyle for students. The service was attended by 159 students. The results of observations on knowledge were still lacking, judging from the post-test results showed an increase in knowledge that was good at 81.8%. The result of clean and healthy behavior that observed within two months after counseling was good, there were not a lot of garbage scattered on the yard.

Background:Cervical cancer is a type of malignancy disease that is often found among women in  Indonesia. It has a relatively high frequency until 25.6%. According to the Ministry of Health, there are about 100 cases per 100 thousand population or 200 thousand cases annually, and the cases of cervical cancer in Central Java increase year to year. The high mortality rate of cervical cancer in Indosnesia due to the lack of general knowledge about the dangers of cancer, the early signs of cancer, the risks factors for cancer, the ways to overcome it correctly, as well as to familiarize themselves with a healthy lifestyle. The treatment as early as possible is an important thing by giving counseling and information about Cervical Cancer. It is one of promoted action to prevent and reduce the cervical cancer. The long-term goal of this research is to analyze and explore health issues within the scope of midwifery. Objectif This study has the specific purpose of analyzing the effect of health education on maternal knowledge about Cervical Cancer In the village of Tambakrejo, Tempel, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study is a part of an effort to deepen the understanding of health knowledge among the community, especially in the obstetrics field. Result : This study is a quasi-experimental approach to one group pre-test to post-test design. The populations in this study are all couples of reproductive age in the village of Tambakrejo, Tempel, Sleman Yogyakarta. Conclusion The statistical test used is paired samples test. The research results show that there are differences in knowledge before and after giving health education about cervical cancer (p = 0.0001 <0.05). The knowledge of cervical cancer when pre-test with a category is 3% increased to 37% at post-test. Health education provides increase the knowledge of cervical cancer among the fertile age couples. The prevalence of hypertension is still high, despite various treatments have been done. The success of hypertension treatment depends on the behavior of people with hypertension during treatment. This study aimed to understand the behavior of hypertensive sufferers at X Hospital which supported or unsupported the health. The qualitative study with phenomenology method was involved six informants. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews, observation, and analysis based on Miles Huberman principals. This research found the behaviors that support the health of hypertension sufferer's are the application of a low salt diet, cessation of cigarette and alcohol consumption, increase in activity and exercise, regulation of sleep and rest needs, application of stress control methods, and hypertension treatment and care. Overall, the informants have implementesd that six behaviors, but in the aspects of treatment and care of hypertension it has not been implemented properly. It is hoped that the nurses in the hospital need to provide education about healthy lifestyle independently that able to lower hypertension and emphasize on the importance of undergoing regular treatment and care to health services

AbstractCorona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is a global health problem because it has spread in more than 200 countries in the world, including Indonesia. COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which is transmitted via droplets from infected people. The implementation of optimal health protocols is considered as one of the effective way to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission in Indonesia. Currently, Islamic boarding schools are starting to return their activities by implementing health protocols in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, healthy lifestyle behaviors such as physical activity and balanced nutritional intake related to body immunity are also important in preventing COVID 19. Information on this is still limited, including for boarding school residents as an effort to prevent COVID 19. Teachers and students as an active components in Islamic boarding schools have a big role in preventing the risk of COVID-19 transmission. The purpose of this community service activity is optimize the role of teachers and students in increasing knowledge of healthy lifestyles and immunity related to COVID-19. The method used is online health education and training on making e-posters to teachers. Then there is a transfer of knowledge from teachers to students regarding the material provided is followed by offline discussions. Students were asked to make health promotion media or e-posters for the public and competed. The results of the e-posters competition were disseminated to the pesantren environment. Pre-test and post-test activities were carried out to assess teacher knowledge before and after receiving health education. As a result, there is an increase in knowledge and changes in teacher behavior related to the material provided, namely health protocols, healthy living behavior, balanced nutritional intake and physical activity.Keywords: COVID-19, Islamic boarding school, healthy lifestyle, public health, teacher training.AbstrakCorona Virus Disease (COVID-19) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan global karena telah menyebar di lebih dari 200 negara di dunia termasuk Indonesia. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh virus SARS-CoV-2 yang menular via droplet individu yang terinfeksi. Penerapan protokol kesehatan yang optimal dianggap sebagai salah satu cara efektif memutus rantai penularan COVID-19 di Indonesia. Saat ini pondok pesantren mulai beraktivitas kembali dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan di tengah pandemi COVID 19. Selain itu perilaku hidup sehat seperti aktivitas fisik dan asupan gizi seimbang yang terkait dengan imunitas tubuh juga penting dalam pencegahan COVID 19. Informasi mengenai hal ini masih terbatas termasuk juga untuk warga pesantren sebagai upaya pencegahan COVID 19. Guru dan santri sebagai komponen aktif di pesantren memiliki peranan besar dalam mencegah risiko penularan COVID-19.  Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengoptimalisasi peran guru dan santri dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pola hidup sehat dan imunitas terkait COVID-19 melalui. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan kesehatan dan pelatihan pembuatan e-poster kepada guru secara daring. Kemudian dilakukan transfer of knowledgedari guru ke santri mengenai materi yang diberikan diikuti diskusi secara luring. Santri diminta untuk membuat media promosi kesehatan berupa e-poster untuk masyarakat awam dan dikompetisikan serta hasil e-poster di diseminasi ke lingkungan pesantren. Dilakukan kegiatan pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai pengetahuan guru sebelum dan setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan. Hasilnya, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan perubahan perilaku guru terkait materi yang diberikan yaitu protokol kesehatan, perilaku hidup sehat, asupan gizi seimbang dan aktivitas fisik.Kata Kunci: COVID-19, pesantren, gaya hidup sehat, kesehatan masyarakat, pelatihan guru.

Background: The level of knowledge of hypertensive people can influence obedience in running a low-salt diet. Low levels of public awareness about low-salt diets can be at risk of complications due to hypertension and death. Health education activities in this community aim to increase the understanding of patients with hypertension on the importance of low-salt diets to improve adherence to the exercise of the dietMethods: Educational methods used in the form of teaches and demonstrations in groups of people with hypertension in Drono village, Ngawen Sub-District, Klaten Regency.Results: Knowledge of the hypertension diet increased between before and after educational activities. Success demonstrated with increased knowledge scores before educational activities of 3.46 and after education score rose to 85.02.Conclusions: Devotion to the community in health education provides increased knowledge in the group of hypertension sufferers. This activity is expected to continue, programmatic, and developed with specialized training in cadres to improve the degree of public health.

Stunting is one of the national health problems caused by multidimensional factors. Stunting children have an increased risk of suffering from repeated infections that can lead to death such as diarrhea, pneumonia, smallpox, and an increased risk of chronic heart disease in childhood. The purpose of the activity was to increase the knowledge or behavior of the community about stunting in Betteng village, Pamboang sub-district. The target of the activity was the community in the working area of ​​the Pamboang Public Health Center. This counseling emphasized more on the method of delivering information about stunting, especially in the causes, prevention, and control which were carried out in the form of explanations for families who have stunting children. In conclusion, health education affects changes in knowledge about stunting. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out health education activities if public knowledge is to be increased. ABSTRAK  Kejadian Stunting merupakan salah satu permasalah kesehatan secara nasional yang diakibatkan oleh faktor multidimensi. Anak stunting meningkat resiko untuk menderita infeksi berulang yang dapat mengakibatkan kematian seperti diare, pneumonia dan cacar serta meningkatkan resiko mengalami penyakit jantung kronik di usia anak. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap stunting. Untuk itu perlu  diperlukan pengetahuan yang baik oleh semua pihak. Metode kegiatan pengabdian  kepada masyarakat Metode kuantitatif dengan pre-eksperimental dengan menggunakan suatu rancangan One Group Pre test and Post test design dengan memberikan penyuluhan  kepada para  petugas kesehatan  tentang stunting  terkait penyebab dan upaya  penanggulangannya. Hasil pengukurannya menunjukkan bahwa pada pengukuran sebelum dengan pengukuran setelah intervensi memiliki  nilai p = 0,084. Dengan nilai α ( 0,05 ) > nilai p value ( 0,084 ) sehingga ada perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi atau ada pengaruh intervensi penyuluhan penguatan keluarga dalam pengendalian stunting. Kesimpulannya bahwa penyuluhan kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap perubahan pengetahuan tetang stunting. Sehingga direkomendasikan melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan jika ingin meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat.

This study aims to analyze the effect of pre-school age children's health education on stunting in the Setia Bakti Kediri Kindergarten. The design of this study used a pre-experimental pre-post test. Subjects were parents who had pre-school children with 49 respondents in the Setia Bakti Kediri Kindergarten. Retrieval of data from 29 - 31 May 2019. Randomization technique with purposive sampling. The variable of this study is parental knowledge. Measurement of knowledge with a questionnaire. Health education is carried out for 60 minutes using lecture methods, audio media, visual aids, and booklets. Research analysis technique with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistic test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of health education about stunting on the knowledge of parents of pre-school children in Setia Bakti Kediri Kindergarten. Health education about stunting increases parental knowledge
