Interpersonal communication is one of the main asset of a person to succeed in daily life including in the school. Good interpersonal communication skills will support students' success in the school, but not all students have interpersonal communication skills, especially those who are active in social media. Thus, the aim of this research is to reveal the interpersonal communication of students who use social media. This research used a descriptive quantitative method with the number of respondents were 31 students of seventh grade at State Junior High School of 24 Kerinci which was taken by using the purposive sampling technique. Data were revealed by using the scale of inter-private communication and then, the data collected were analyzed by using the percentage formula.  Afterwards, the interpretation of the acquisition score of research results done by using the ideal score. The results reveal that in general, the students who use social media in the school have  poor interpersonal communication

The aim of this study is to determine the difference in interpersonal communication skills between  advanced students and regular students in Shafta Junior High School Surabaya. 196 students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade were involved in this research. These students were divided into two groups of 66 advanced students in one group and 130 regular students in another group. Random Sampling technique was used to recruit subjects of this study. Data collected using a Likert model scale of interpersonal communication scale. Furthermore, Independent Sample Test (t-test) was used to analyse the data. The results shows that the p value is 0.027 (< 0.05), indicating that there is difference in interpersonal communication skills between advanced students and regular students. It can be found from the result that  the highest mean value was obtained by advanced students, which means they have higher interpersonal communication skills compared to regular students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa unggulan dengan reguler di SMP Shafta Surabaya. 196 siswa dari kelas satu, dua dan tiga terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Subyek dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelompok, 66 siswa unggulan dalam satu kelompok dan 130 siswa reguler dikelompok lainnya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan peneliti adalah Simple Random Sampling untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dari dua kelompok tersebut. Penggalian data menggunakan Skala Komunikasi Interpersonal dengan model Likert yang di susun peneliti berdasarkan teori dari Joseph Devito. Analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample Test (uji-t). Hasil nilai p sebesar 0,027<0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa kelas unggulan dengan siswa reguler. Nilai mean tertinggi diperoleh siswa kelas unggulan yang berarti siswa unggulan memiliki kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan siswa reguler.

Mathematical communication skills are one of the competencies that students must have in the 21st century.  This study aims to anylize and describe students’ mathematical communication skills in terms of self efficacy on the polyhedrons material. The research used descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects were 9 grade students of An nashichah private junior high school selected purposively.  Data was collected through online test, questionnaires and interviews using WhatsApp. The data analyzed through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the students’ mathematical communication skills were low. When viewed from students’ self efficacy, high self efficacy students have high mathematical communication. Meanwhile, low and moderate self efficacy students have low mathematical communication skills. The use of Whatsapp media is not able to support students mathematical communication skill and self efficacy. The tachers need to design learning media to help students improve their mathematical communication skills and self efiicacy.

In this study, there are four variables, namely Social Media (X1), Word Of Mouth Marketing (X2), Trust (X3) and Purchasing Decision (Y) variables at Mutimuv Store Samarinda Distro. The purpose of this study was to determine and test the effect of the use of social media, word of mouth marketing and trust on purchasing decisions at the Mutimuv Store Samarinda distribution, either partially or simultaneously. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression with the help of statistical software SPSS version 25.0. The sampling technique in this study is an accidental sampling technique based on who was found when the author conducted the research and the sample used was 75 consumers at the Mutimuv Store Samarinda Distro. This research is a survey research, in which the information collected from respondents using a questionnaire. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The results showed that Social Media, Word of Mouth Marketing and Trust together had a significant influence on purchasing decisions at Mutimuv Samarinda Distro. These results mean that variations in purchasing decisions are jointly influenced by Social Media, Word of Mouth Marketing and Trust. Partially, individual Word of Mouth Marketing has no significant effect on purchasing decisions at Mutimuv Samarinda Distro. Of the three independent variables that have a dominant influence on purchasing decisions are social media variables.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between leaders’ interpersonal communication skills and nurses’ innovative behaviour. Moreover, innovative behaviour is essential for nurses in today’s dynamic healthcare systems whereby, the interpersonal communication skill has become an increasingly important factor in enhancing innovative behaviour. This study is based on the conceptual framework of interpersonal communication skills, innovative behaviour, and perceived trustworthiness. Using stratified sampling technique, questionnaires were distributed to 246 nurses’ grade U29 in three public state hospitals in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. Since this is a correlational study, a quantitative research method is employed to determine the existing relationship between the variables. Findings indicated that the head nurses implemented moderately all the five components of interpersonal communication skills. The existence of perceived trustworthiness was found to improve the interaction between both parties to transform nurses to generate innovation in their work. The study concluded that interpersonal communication skills are required to be implemented by leaders in enhancing nurses’ innovative behaviour.

The success of the teacher in the teaching and learning process is determined by the teacher's performance as an educator. This performance plays an important role in achieving optimal teaching goals. However, in the reality of the teacher's performance shows less encouraging symptoms that many teaching teachers seem to have the lack mastery in teaching materials, media and methods used in the teaching and learning process. They have a tendency to teach the same materials in the following year while some of teachers arestill not being placed in accordance with their educational background. There is also the lack of encouragement from teachers to excel and compete among others. This research is conducted to reveal the contribution of teachers’ motivation and characteristic toward their performance in SMP Ma’arif Metro. The research method used in this research is the quantitative method using Ex Post Facto. The population of this study was all of teacheras many as 38 people and the sampling technique was done by total sampling. The result of the research shows that the teachers’ Motivation is 79.4 % of the ideal maximum score and can be categorized as medium category.Teachers’ motivation contributes significantly towardTeacher’s performance by 41.2 %. While the Teachers’ Characteristics score is 85.30 % of the ideal maximum score and can be categorized as good category.Teachers’ Characteristics contribute significantly towardthe Teachers’ Performance by 28.1 %, while Teachers’ Motivation and Characteristics together contribute significantly toward Teachers’ Performance by 32.7 %. This study found out that the two predictor variables which are the Motivation and Characteristics of Teachers both individually and jointly made a meaningful contribution toward the Teachers’ Performance.

<div><div><p class="1eAbstract-text"><em>This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing through instagram on purchasing decisions on clothing linkswear products. </em><em>The result of the study found that all research, namely social media marketing through instagram and purchase decision, were declared valid and reliable. To test for normality that the value of all variables is declared to be normally distributes.</em> <em>The research method used is a quantitative method with explanatory research techniques using a questionnaire. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The sample used is 100 consumers of clothing linkswear products. The data collected was then analyzed using a simple regression technique with SPSS version 25. The results showed that social media marketing through instagram had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This finding implies that to improve online purchasing decisions, companies need to pay more attention to instagram account quality indicators so that consumers can be more interested in seeing instagram social media accounts which ultimately increase good sales for the company.</em><em></em></p></div><p class="1eAbstract-text"><em><br /></em><em></em></p></div>

The research aims to investigate whether Students’ Readiness toward National Examination (A Case Study in SMPN 2 Palopo). The problem statement of the research was, “How are their readiness in facing national examination”? This research used the Descriptive Quantitative Method. The population of this research was 167 students from the ninth grade students of Junior High School Number 2 Palopo. The total numbers of the students are ten students. The researcher took five students from each class as the sample. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The researcher used this technique based on their consideration. The result of the analysis can explain that the researcher analyzed the result to measure the students’ readiness in facing national examination. The researcher has conducted the result of the test showed their readiness to face the national examination. The result categorized into average classification. The highest score is 74, the middle score is 66, the lowest score is 60, and the mean score is 67.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-disclosure through social media with interpersonal communication in terms of gender in adolescents. This research is a quantitative research. The research population was 150 students with a sample of 108 students. The data collection technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used interpersonal communication scale (31 valid items, = 0.874 ) and self-disclosure through social media (23 valid items, = 0.911 ). The results of data analysis using Pearson's product moment and obtained a p significance value of 0.008 (p < 0.05). These results indicate that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a relationship between self-disclosure through social media and interpersonal communication in MTS Al-Hidayah Purwokerto students. And the Pearson correlation value of -0.254 which produces a negative correlation. And it can be concluded that there is a significant but negative relationship where the higher the self-disclosure through social media, the lower the interpersonal communication, and conversely the lower the self-disclosure made through social media, the higher the interpersonal communication. Based on the results of the independent samples test, the significance of 0.319 (sig < 0.05) indicates that there is no significant difference between self-disclosure in boys and girls. as well as interpersonal communication with a significance of 0.109 (sig < 0.05) indicates that there is no significant difference in interpersonal communication between men and women.

This study aims to determine the existence of meaningful contributions both partially and collectively from the interpersonal communication skills of Christian Education (CE) teachers and parental guidance to the motivation of students' CE learning. The research was conducted at Junior High School GKPI Padang Bulan. The population in this study is all Grade VII Christian students who number 61 people. The results concluded that there is a significant contribution from variable X1 (interpersonal communication skills of CE teachers) to variable Y (motivation to learn CE students). There is a significant contribution from variable X2 (parental guidance) to variable Y (student CE learning motivation). Rhitung value (0.553) (Rtabel value (0.361). The R2 determination value of the correlation calculation is 30.58%, and is meaningful, where things > ttabel (3.51 (1.701). There are contributions together from variable X1 (interpersonal communication skills of PAK teachers) and variable X2 (parental guidance) to variable Y (student PAK learning motivation). Christian education teachers need to encourage communication skills for students and fellow Teachers in various forms of formal and non-formal training in daily practice. Likewise, parents keep an eye on the frame of love in guiding the children god-given to them

<p>The purposes of this research were: (1) to understand does Cycle Learning 5E and Brainstorming Methods learning method produce the better mathematics communication capability rather than direct learning method, (2) to understand are students with high motivation have better mathematic communication skills than students with average motivation, are students with average motivation have better mathematic communication skills than students with low motivation, (3) to understand for students with high and average motivation does Cycle Learning 5E and Brainstorming method produce mathematic communication skills better than direct learning and for low motivation students does it produce the same mathematic skills with direct learning. (4) to compare on high with average motivation students, also both the average with low motivation students and high with low motivation students about how Cycle Learning 5E and Brainstorming methods gives them the better mathematic communication skills. This is a quantitative research with pseudo-experiment methods. The population of this research was all the VII grade students of Batang State 1 Junior High School. Sampling method was by Cluster Random Sampling technique. The data collection was using test method and questionnaire method. Data was analyzed by two ways Annova.</p>Result shows that: (1) Cycle Learning 5E and Brainstorming method gives better mathematic communication skills for students rather than direct learning; (2) students with high motivation have better mathematics communication skills than low motivation students, while high and average motivation students have the equal level of mathematic communication skills, and same goes to students with average and low motivation; (3) for all students with high, average and low motivation, the Cycle Learning 5E and Brainstorming method gives better mathematics communication skills than direct learning; (4) on teaching with Cycle Learning 5E and Brainstorming method, high motivation students have better mathematic communication skills rather than low motivation students, while they have equal communication skills with average motivation students. This condition happens also to the average and low motivation students.
