Pondok Pesantren as an educational institution that develop spiritual and life skills. One of them Pondok Pesantren Hataska. The problem in this research is what is the program of empowering students of Pondok Pesantren Hataska Semurup Kerinci-Jambi. How the implementation of empowerment program students of boarding school Hataska Semurup Kerinci-Jambi regency. There are five basic concepts of da'wah and the development of Islamic society 1. Ukhuwah (the importance of unity to gain strength) 2. Ta'awun (the inter-team approach in community development) 3. 'Amilun (a group with enough skills) 4. Ma'rifah (cultural understanding of society) 5. Yaqin have the ability to be independent). Pesantren is an institution that combines formal and non formal education that prioritizes the practice of Islamic values that become the daily lifestyle, with the development of pesantren also preparing santri in the field of life skill so as to adapt well when returning to society. In the implementation of empowerment program students of Hataska Pondok Pesantren in the field of spiritual and life skill implemented three stages: first, the giving of material. Second, training. Third, the implementation.

Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) as islamic educational institution in general organizes and designs curriculum that able to avoid its students from sexual behavior that contrast to the islamic values, as well as in pesantren or after graduating from pesantren. One of the effort of pesntren to reach such goal among them are by organizing the relationship between sexs and to separate its students according to the sexs. Students are faced to the situation that different at all with the actual reality. Some aspects are regarded can direct to the social contact between sexs are controlled. The question appears about how the influence of the sexs separation (single sex-pesantren) to the student sexual development, as they coming out from that pesantren and must face the actual reality, which heterogenous, uncontrollabe and different at all with the relaity that experienced in pesantren.

The results of this study are first, the development of vision and mission adapted to the development of science and technology while continuing to prioritize Islamic values; second, curriculum development becomes a multi triple curriculum (Ministry of Religion curriculum, Ministry of National Education curriculum, and Islamic boarding school curriculum); third, the development of learning activities which include; night-time activities, tahfidz activities, tahsin activities, language development, religious moral formation, development of local and global insightful education; fourth, the development of community service in the form of village collaboration participation, care of janazah, distribution of zakat fitrah, distribution of zakat mal, and distribution of qurban animals; fifth, the development of madrasa governance internally between students, teachers, principals, and education personnel, externally between schools and foundations and school committees; sixth, developing networking with parents of students, alumni, government agencies, universities, and other agencies, seventh; MTS YAPIKA is an integrated madrasa, the madrasa students besides getting formal education, they also get pesantren education or are said to be MTS YAPIKA  students and al-Istiqomah Islamic boarding school students. Islamic boarding schools as a means of regeneration in the development of da'wah. Islamic boarding school is an educational institution that transforms the value of education and example every second and minute and every time from a kyai to his students. Researchers are interested in choosing this topic because no one has conducted research with the same title. It is hoped that the benefits of the research will be of assistance to the pesantren pindok caregivers as well as for prospective da'i who wish to further deepen various dakwah sciences. The reason other researchers are not interested in this title is that they consider Islamic boarding schools as a means of regeneration in the development of da'wah to be ineffective and not optimal. Apart from this research, the writer tries to find a formula for what is done by the Islamic boarding schools to regenerate candidates and those who have become da'i, forged to become qualified da'i. This research was conducted using field research (field research) and qualitative analysis. Therefore, the data collected in this study is in the form of information in the form of descriptions. Qualitative analysis is considered more appropriate in this study, because this analysis is expected to make it more possible to develop this research in order to gain a deeper understanding. Research findings of Islamic boarding schools have a function as a da'wah institution, have elements and systems that are ideal in producing da'i cadres who have broad knowledge and character. Conclusion of the study, Islamic boarding school as a means of regeneration that prepares the next generation of Islam, through the provision of knowledge (leadership, management and insight) in stages and careful planning. The implication of this research is that the cadre model in the development of da'wah in Islamic boarding schools which is deliberately designed in such a way, it is certain that the da'i cadres can develop the knowledge they have and are ready to preach Islamic values ​​wherever they are.

  This study aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic values to the local cultural values of Sasak Lombok community, and the role of pondok pesantern (Islamic boarding schools) in integrating both of them in building student character in educational practices. This is important because there is a phenomenon that certain religious group contradistinguish between Islam and local traditions. Even in many cases local traditions are considered to lead to heresy and novelty. Through field studies with a qualitative approach, and applying Thomas Lickona's theory as the theoretical framework, this study argues that substantively, Islam and local culture have relevance to the local traditions of Sasak society. In this context, pondok pesantren have a strategic role that successfully integrates the two. On the one hand, pondok pesantren grows from the community itself, and on the other hand, it is also an Islamic educational institution. This position makes it possible for pondok pesantren to maintain the character of the santri by integrating local culture and religion as the basis for character education. Practically, the pattern of character development based on the wisdom of Sasak culture is carried out through three stages: moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. These three stages succeeded in bringing together Islam and the local tradition of Sasak in educational practice.

As we know that many theories that explain citizenship education are seen from a wide range of perspectives, both about culture, economy, social, political, and religious stemming from the civility of the nation's cultural values. While pesantren is present as an educational institution that has a mission vision of moral presence (morality). These two entities have the same direction in shaping the personality of the nation. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze in-depth the optimization of pesantren in shaping the moral imperatives involved in citizenship education. Research methods using qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by observation, documentation, and interview studies. The results obtained in this research are very constructive, namely Islamic boarding schools strengthening through formal, informal and non-formal education so that students in carrying out their daily life always apply morals that reflect the values of Pancasila and Islamic values as a nation with a fresh and religious community.-------------Seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa banyak teori-teori yang menjelaskan mengenai Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dipandang dari berbagai macam perspektif, baik berkenaan dengan budaya, ekonomi, sosial, politik, dan religius yang bersumber dari keadaban nilai-nilai budaya bangsa. Sedangkan pesantren hadir sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mempunyai visi misi tentang keadaban moral (akhlak). Dua entitas ini punya arah yang sama dalam membentuk keperibadian bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam mengenai optimalisasi pesantren dalam membentuk keadaban moral yang terintgrasi dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian sangat kontruktif, yaitu pesantren melakukan penguatan melalui pendidikan formal, Informal dan nonformal, hingga santri dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari senantiasa menerapkan moral yang mencerminkan nilai Pancasila dan nilai Islam sebagai bangsa bernegaran dan ummat beragama.

Islamic boarding school is one of Islamic educational institution that plays an active role in the formation of human noble morals. Specifically in the development and fostering of student morals in order to form virtuous souls and understand Islamic values well. The Islamic Boarding School of Darul Abrar also plays a role in fostering the morals and mentality of the students, like boarding schools in general and also has a vision and mission to be achieved, one of which is become a person who a morality, this is in line with the ultimate goal of life. This study aims to determine the variety of morals efforts to foster student at the Islamic Boarding School of Darul Abrar, Bone. The research methodology in this study is qualitative, and the data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that efforts to develop moral character of female students can be done by increasing the reading of the Qur’an, applying disciplinary methods of discipline, applying the valuesof the five souls that are a reference to the boarding school, conducting through learning and moral guidance through extracurricular activities.

Madrasah as the oldest Islamic educational institution after boarding school has been recognized to have a very big contribution to the religious behavior of Islamic society in Indonesia. Madrasah Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah Cibeber is one of the madrassas that has been established since 1924, which contributed in the birth of alumni-alumni who are competent in the field of religion scattered in the region of Banten and surrounding areas. In this study the authors find out, whether there is the role of alumni madrasah Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah cibeber in shaping the character homogeneity of religious and cultural rural communities in the district area cebeber cilegon city. Based on the results of research that has been done in rural communities Cibeber District Cilegon City which consists of 6 villages, namely: Cibeber Village, Kedaleman, Karangasem, Kalitimbang, Bulakan and Cikerai Village, it can be concluded that alumni madrasah Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah Cibeber very instrumental in forming homogeneity Religious and cultural rural communities. The ways and methods used by alumni in shaping the homogeneity of the religious and cultural character of rural communities is to teach, preach and exemplify religious teachings /values ​​on the rural community

Covid-19 is a way for each educational institution to improve quality, processes, as well as facilities and infrastructure. The epidemic indirectly demands the education institution for adaptive and innovative new life accompanied by the development of information technology. The Ministry of Education and Culture has issued a curriculum policy for special conditions during the pandemic based on the circular regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 719 of 2020. In addition, the issue of freedom to study in primary and secondary education institutions has emerged since 2019. Through the locus of Senior High School al-Hikmah Boarding School Batu, the researchers explored the data regarding the design of an independent curriculum based on Islamic values implemented since 2019. The curriculum has relevance to the Covid-19 special conditions curriculum and can be used as a model for the Covid-19 curriculum based on Islamic values. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. While, the type of research is a case study with in-depth interview data collection, participatory observation, and documentation. It used an interactive data analysis through data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the independent curriculum of al-Hikmah Boarding School Batu has relevance to the link and match-based special conditions curriculum. In addition, the independent curriculum contributes to shaping the learners’ attitudes based on spiritual strength, nationalism, and mental leadership.

The leadership of the Kyai is special because it is not yet known in depth by the society. A Kyai has a very important role in providing religious education to the society. The leadership of the Kyai has another feature, which is to make the society more easily influenced and obedient to the matters conveyed by the Kyai. Likewise with the leadership of KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali. He has an important role in providing Islamic religious education to the society.                The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the type of leadership KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali, his efforts in empowering religion in society, as well as describing the implications of the leadership results of KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali in empowering the society. The method used in this study is a qualitative method and the research approach used is descriptive qualitative with the type of life-history research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation study. The research instrument was the researcher. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, peer checking, and member checking.                This research results indicates that: (1) the type of leadership KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali is charismatic and democratic. (2) KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali in empowering religion is by becoming a mosque stakeholder, mubaligh (preaching), teaching, being active in ORMAS activities (society organizations) to establishing a Islamic boarding school and formal education, (3) the implication of KH leadership. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali in empowering religion in society is the creation of a society that upholds Islamic values and is able to produce the younger generation to become an ulama’ (scholar).

Abstract The world of pesantren is an educational learning environment that effectively shapes the thinking and mentality of students effectively. Complete physical facilities such as buildings, learning environments, playgrounds or curricula and educational resources (asaatidz) that accompany 24 hours for the students intensively. The students are also protected from the temptation of contemporary social media which tends to have a negative impact during the education process on Pesantren, especially at an early age. The Madinatul Quran Islamic boarding school, which is located in Pecangaan, the South coast area in coastal Java, is interesting to be studied because the integration of this educational institution is the provision of Tahfidz Alquran for small children who are also study at formal education, Islamic primary school or state or primate primary school. This study applied the perspective of management of Islamic boarding schools by using qualitative approach. Some informants as primary data sources were the founders and administrators of Islamic boarding schools. The data was collected through in-depth interview observation methods and observations at the pesantren. Another method is the collection of documentation as a secondary data source in this Madinatul Quran Islamic boarding school. From various analyzes of the data in this study, it is found that the application of innovative methods from the teachers in the pattern of memorizing the Quran for primary school children. The two patterns of management of pesantren which are managed professionally and supported by various parties, especially on the pesantren facilities and the appreciation for human resources, the achievements of the students at the Madinatul Quran Pati Selatan pesantren.
