An increasing of  Small Micro Enterprises and Medium (SMEs) in Indonesia as much as 2,41 percent from 2012 to 2013 is a benchmark for the government to pay attention to the type of business that contributes to the commercial sector for economic growth in this country. National Craft Council (Dekranasda) is one of concern for the government to establish a handicraft product's marketing communication activities of SMEs from each region. The exhibition is a promotion tool Dekranasda mainstay performed by considering the characteristics of the products sold and the buyer targets to be achieved. The method of respondent selection is accidental sampling technique a number of 90 respondents. This research was did at Botani Square Bogor Mal by using quantitative method and supported by qualitative approach. The component of effectiveness is attraction, comprehension, acceptance, and persuation. Pameran ini adalah alat promosi Dekranasda andalan dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik dari produk yang dijual dan target pembeli yang ingin dicapai. Metode pemilihan responden adalah teknik accidental sampling sejumlah 90 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Botani Square Bogor Mal dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan didukung oleh pendekatan kualitatif. Komponen efektivitas adalah daya tarik, pemahaman, penerimaan, dan persuasi. Komponen tersebut cukup baik, tetapi perlu mendapatkan perbaikan untuk membuat pameran lebih efektif.Kata kunci: daya tarik, pemahaman, penerimaan, persuasi

In this era, a lot of activities that can not be separated from the practice of cheating or fraud , no exception In the government . Inspektorat Sumenep is the leading institution of internal Local Government in preventing and detecting fraud in the Local Government appropiate Perbup Sumenep No. 29 of 2008 . Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep need attention on the issue . This is due to Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep an agency with the largest number of assets and managing large budgets . These conditions led to the formulation of the problem is How Inspektorat Sumenep role in preventing and detecting fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep. This study used a qualitative approach in which the focus of this study is Inspektorat role in preventing and detecting fraud at Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . Primary data obtained by direct interviews with the parties directly related to the determination of the source of research data in a qualitative study using nonprobability sampling . The sampling technique used was purposive sampling . The conclusion of this study, role of the Inspektorat Sumenep in the prevention of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep still not maximal . This is due to Inspektorat Sumenep not supervise from the planning / budgeting and not optimal in overseeing and assisting the implementation of the SPIP as an instrument of fraud prevention in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . The role of Inspektorat Sumenep in the detection of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep done by conducting an audit of financial and asset management in each financial year.Keywords: fraud, government, inspektorat.

SMEs contribute to economic growth, employment and thereby reduce poverty. Hence, they are considered as an engine of growth, especially in the developing countries like Namibia. The other reason is they aid promotion of entrepreneurship, innovative activities enhance competition, productivity and economic growth. Adopting a qualitative approach, this study investigated the influence of innovation on SME performance and how enhancing innovation adoption will boost SMEs performance in the Khomas Region, Namibia. Primary data was collected through open and closed-ended questionnaire, distributed to 20 SME owners by means of purposive sampling method and content analysis done. Findings reflect that innovation is an important element of every organization as it had major influence on performance. Besides, innovative enterprises showed better growth. The recommendations include that the Government of Namibia consider strong financial and mentor-ship support through strategic measures, like business incubators so as to augment and sustain SMEs positive performance.

One of the government's efforts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic which has affected several sectors, one of which is the economic sector, is by launching the Government Assistance for Micro Enterprises (BPUM) program. This BPUM aims to support and maintain the sustainability of micro-enterprises as well as a form of saving the national economy during the COVID-19 pandemic that threatens the national economy. This program was only issued during the 2019 covid pandemic, so it is still very new and there is still not much research on this program. The problem in this research is how the effectiveness of achieving the objectives, integration, and adaptation of the Government Assistance for Micro Enterprises (BPUM) program is. This research program uses a field method using a qualitative approach and uses a descriptive type of research. The results of the research are, firstly, the measure of achieving the goals has not been effective because the targets have not been fully accurate and the management of aid funds is still not in accordance with the objectives. Second, the integration measure has not been effective because there is no socialization from related parties to the prospective recipients of the BPUM program. And third, the adaptation measure has not been effective either because the implementing party did not conduct monitoring before or after receiving this assistance program. Salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam mengatasi pendemi covid-19 yang mengakibatkan beberapa sektor terdampak, salah satunya sektor perekonomian yaitu dengan mencanangkan program Bantuan Pemerintah bagi Usaha Mikro (BPUM). BPUM ini bertujuan untuk mendukung dan menjaga keberlangsungan usaha mikro serta sebagai bentuk penyelamatan ekonomi Nasional pada masa pandemi covid-19 yang mengancam perekonomian Nasional. Program ini baru dikeluarkan pada saat pandemi covid tahun 2019, sehingga masih sangat baru dan masih belum banyak penelitan tentang program ini. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana efektivitas pencapaian tujuan, integrasi, dan adaptasi program Bantuan Pemerintah bagi Usaha Mikro (BPUM). Program Penelitian ini menggunakan metode lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yaitu, pertama pada ukuran pencapaian tujuan belum efektif dikarenakan target sasaran belum sepenuhnya tepat serta pengelolaan dana bantuan yang masih belum sesuai dengan tujuan. Kedua, pada ukuran integrasi belum efektif karena tidak adanya sosialisasi dari pihak terkait terhadap calon penerima program BPUM. Dan ketiga, pada ukuran adaptasi juga belum efektif karena pihak pelaksana tidak melakukan pemantauan sebelum maupun sesudah menerima program bantuan ini.

Poverty in rural areas is now reaching an alarming condition, according to the Central Statistics Agency at this time the poor in rural areas dominate the percentage of poverty in Indonesia by 60%. Efforts to improve the welfare of rural communities will not be separated from how people use and maximize their potential, especially in networking relevant to the issue of social capital. Based on the concept of social capital, there is currently a type of social capital linking, which means emphasizing how the community is able to build relationships with parties who have authority, especially in making policy. This is considered to be important to support the development of welfare for the community, especially in the Dago Creative Tourism Village. Based on this, the purpose of this study is how the community initiated the development of social capital linking in the community in Dago Creative Tourism Village. Therefore, based on these objectives, this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data collection is done by observation, study of documentation of relevant documents and interviews. In addition interviews were conducted on 15 informants obtained using purposive sampling technique to determine informants. The results of this study indicate that there are several ways in which people initiate government involvement in developing social capital linking, such as community legalizing organizations, people participating in activities organized by the government, and the community providing government opportunities to participate in every activity organized by the government

This study aims to identify barriers and prospects for Small Micro Enterprises (SMEs) based on sex in the District of Singingi. The data collected by observation, interview and questionnaire. The result showed that the owners of SMEs in Singingi Regency dominated by men but not apart from the contribution of the woman (wife). The major obstacle is the lack of capital to develop the business. Other barriers such as availability of raw materials, equipment, technology, and skills possessed by SMEs. Although there are some obstacles, but they still want to maintain the business as their main motivation is to increase family income. Future prospects of SMEs will be better when it get serious attention from the government, especially when viewed from the economic growth rate reached 6 percent in that year provide the opportunity for absorption of industrial goods produced by SMEs.

One of the ways in which the government in Central Kalimantan Province moves the regional economy is to develop an expansionary region which is expected to be able to further improve the economy of the community with the potential to support the pace of economic growth in the region for the welfare of its people. The aim of this study was to analyze The Economic Performance of Community Welfare in the Development District of Central Kalimantan in 2010-2017. This study uses a quantitative method and panel data. Proxy Economic Performance is a variable of Economic Growth, Unemployment Rate and Poverty Level as an independent variable, Community Welfare is proxied to be the Human Development Index as the dependent variable. The results of the study show that partially Economic Growth and Unemployment Rate do not significantly influence Community Welfare while the Poverty Level affects the Welfare of the Community. Simultaneously Economic Growth, Unemployment Rate,and Poverty Level have a significant effect on communityWelfare.   Keywords: Economic Performance; Economic Growth; Unemployment Rate; Poverty Level; Community Welfare

Purpose of the study: The purpose of the study was to critically evaluate the components of the strategic planning process of construction companies in Oman; to investigate the factors that led to the success of strategic planning in construction companies in Oman; to identify the challenges in the implementation of strategic planning among different construction companies’ categories in Oman and to make recommendations in enhancing the strategic planning process for construction companies in Oman as well as in minimizing challenges. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research adopted a mixed approach, quantitative and qualitative approach where it used the quantitative technique to investigate the companies and identify the problem while the qualitative approach was used to explain the challenges and uncover the best practices followed by the companies. The research used the cross-section time horizon data. Out of 940 companies registered as local companies in the category of construction and maintenance, the study tested90 companies using the survey questionnaire and interviews with senior employees/the owners of the companies. Findings: The study has shown that most of the companies have a clear understanding of the strategic planning components. Companies have realistic strategic plans but improvements need to be done to ensure success during implementation. It was also revealed that the motivation is not at the best level and the lack of creating a sense of urgency to implement the strategic plans which need to be enhanced. Research Implications: Some recommendations are given also to enhance the work environment and the manager’s skills and motivation system in the companies to achieve efficient strategic planning. Some recommendations are regulatory. This is a proposal to the government to do special legislation to regulate and protect private companies from unfair competition. Social Implications: The success of the strategic plans of the construction companies will lead to the socio-economic growth of the country. The recommendation will enhance the work environment and the strict implementation of strategic planning processes in construction companies in Oman. It was suggested that the Government need to amend the legislation curbing the unfair competition created by illegal contractors and small companies. Originality/value: There were no earlier studies discussed more in detail about strategic planning in construction companies in Oman. This study will help the companies’ owners and the decision-makers to adopt more successful strategic plans which will lead to greater success of the construction companies to have huge economic growth. The study assessed the causes of inefficiencies in the WASH programme at the Demonstration Basic Schools in the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly; examined the effects of the inefficiencies on the learners at the schools, and suggested appropriate strategies to improve the WASH programme. The researcher employed a qualitative approach to achieve these objectives. The population included headteachers, teachers and learners for the study. The study used purposive sampling technique to select 8 participants. This comprised three head teachers, two teachers and three learners from the school. The findings of the study showed that challenges that confront the WASH programme at the schools were inadequate water supply, poor sanitation and hygiene systems, lack of adequate handwashing points, unclean and not properly maintained toilets, lack of quality toilet facilities, lack of menstrual hygiene management (MHM), inadequate sanitary materials, and unhygienic toilet conditions. It is recommended that the government and authorities should improve the WASH system in the school. Moreover, adequate WASH facilities should be provided considering the various guidelines for WASH to ensure that facilities are adequate, sufficient, accessible, and safe for use by learners. Also, the Ghana Education Service should infuse sanitation education into the new or existing curriculum.

Currently villages in Indonesia are required to be able to give birth to quality economic growth and sustainable. Quality economic growth is a concept of strengthening and contribution contributed by the real economy sector in the village. Therefore, the development and empowerment of rural communities through the management of the Village Fund or Village Fund Allocation Fund must be balanced. Because to empower the potential of the village optimally and sustainably, funding for the village needs to be focused not only to build village, but more empowered to become a self-constructing village. This study aims to develop local economic independence through optimizing the management of Village Funds in Siak Subdistrict Siak District and any factors that influence the development of local economic independence. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with sampling technique used is snowball sampling. The research informant is the apparatus involved in the implementation of the Village Fund program and the community leaders who know the program. Data collection was done by interview and observation technique, after the data collected and then analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of research indicate that the development of village economy can be done by strengthening the performance of local economic institutions such as BUMDes through various aspects. To achieve this, an integrated movement between the community, BUMDes and the government is realized in the form of partnership. Activities that can be done is to optimize the function of central and local entrepreneurial institutions to support various efforts to inventory the potential of local economic resources. With the development of household industry activities, it will facilitate efforts to establish cooperation between local economic development institutions that exist and thus create a process of sustainable community empowerment of villages.

ABSTRACT Teachers’ performance determines the quality of educational system. Education will be qualified when teachers are referred to the organized vision, mission, purpose, and goal in order to respond to various changes by generating all potential resources in educational institution. Teachers’ work satisfaction is one of the important aspects which have to be heeded by management in order to increase teachers’ quality of performance. When work satisfaction is fulfilled, teachers will tend to have high morale in doing their job. The research used descriptive explanatory quantitative method which was aimed to measure the correlation between two or more variables. The data were gathered by conducting interviews, questionnaires, and documentary study. The population was 39 teachers as the government employees at all public junior high schools in Meureubo Subdistrict who had received certification allowance, and all of them were used as the samples, taken by using census sampling technique. The gathered data were analyzed by using interval scale, and multiple regression. The result of the research showed that certification allowance had positive and significant influence on teachers’ performance. Keywords: Certification Allowance, Teachers’ Performance
