In our studies, we deal with the estimating of the optimal ranges of earnings – the optimal Gini indexes which are favourable to the maximisation of GDP growth in Poland. We suspect that the optimal Gini coefficients expressing the whole of society’s acceptance of earnings inequalities can increase. In the article, we formulated a hypothesis on society’s habituation to increasing earnings disparities. We verified the hypothesis on the basis of the model of economic growth using data from 1970 to 2007. We carried out econometric studies in two stages. In the first stage, we estimated the optimal Gini coefficients for short subsequent sub-periods. In the second stage, we studied the character of changes in the optimal Gini coefficients. In the studies, we proved the hypothesis on society’s habituation to increasing earnings disparities. The optimal Gini coefficients increase along with the increase of differences in earnings and the increase of the economic level per capita. The growth of the optimal Gini coefficients may be slowed down.

This study aims to make students have an independent character, discipline and responsibility in the digital era through the Monthly Bazaar. The method used in this research was Mixed Method with a sequential exploratory strategy. The sequential exploratory strategy involves collecting and analyzing quantitative data in the second stage based on the results of the first stage. Weights / priorities are more likely to be in the first stage, and the mixing process between these two methods occurs when the researcher makes a connection between qualitative data analysis and quantitative data collection. The results of the study were obtained from qualitative data analysis in the first stage and quantitative data in the second stage. The results of the first stage were obtained from educators' observations of students after completing the monthly bazaar. The results of the second stage are obtained through calculations using a Likert scale and it is obtained the data of 43.75% (ever) if it is categorized in interpretation of scores based on intervals. This data was obtained before the implementation of the monthly bazaar. After implementing the monthly bazaar for two times, the data is 72.75% (often). From the two stages, the relevant results obtained between qualitative and quantitative data analysis showed that there was an independent character, discipline and responsibility embedded in students after the implementation of the monthly bazaar activities.

AbstractVerification of avalanche forecasts depends on the spatial and temporal scale of the forecast, and the classes of informational entropy of data implicit in the forecast. First I present a classification system for avalanche forecasts based on these parameters. Verification of models in avalanche forecasting may consist of two stages. Often, the first stage is to ensure that the model matches the scales (space and time) and the classification of forecast and that redundant variables and parameters are eliminated. Once that is achieved, verification can proceed to the second stage, testing the model against relevant field data and situations. I provide an example based on the public-danger scale bulletin used for warnings in the back country in North America and Europe. Using data on deaths and accidents from Alpine Europe with Bayesian statistics, I conclude the danger scale has more classes than necessary for back-country applications. This could be a first stage prior to actual verification of this experience-based model.

This study aims to determinethe effect of Job Satisfaction in Mediating the Relationship between Compensation, Tasks Competence and Commitment of Teachers of SMA Don Bosco Padang as many as 64 people. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the entire population that could be used for analysis purposes. Hypothesis testing was carried out by using data analysis techniques through Path Analysis. The results of the data analysis show that of the (two) independent variables, Compensation has no significant effect. Menawhile, task competence has a significant effect on the Task Commitment variable (the dependent variable). Furthermore, the Compensation and Task CompetencyVariables have a significant effect on the Job Satisfaction variable as an intervening variable. Likewise, the Job Satisfaction variable also has a significant effect on performance. Both of the Independent Variables are eligible for the Mediation test. Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable has no influence between Compensation and Task Commitment. While Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable influences the Task Competence and the Task Commitment of Teachers of SMA Don Bosco Padang. The effect of compensation variable and career development to the commitment of the task in the first phase amounted described by value R2is 0.783 or 78.3%, when compared to the effect test of variable compensation and competency tasks to task commitment in the second stage by inserting a mediating variable work motivation where the effect described by the value R2is 0.783 or 84.6% or the increase of effect by incorporating variable job satisfaction as an intervening variable is 84.6% - 78.3%, or 6.3%

Information in agriculture has an important role for farmers in efforts to improve their farming activities. Some empirical research on the use of WhatsApp as a medium for disseminating information among farmers is still limited even though farmers have used it. This study explores the use of WhatsApp in strengthening agricultural information for mango farmers in Pasuruan Regency. The data analysis method used consists of two stages, the first is Crosstab, the second stage is measuring the association is Chi-Square using IBM SPSS Ver software. 23. The results of the analysis show that the age of the respondent is the only factor that is stated to have no relationship with agricultural information via WhatsApp. While other factors forming individual characteristics, namely education, length of time using HP, and length of farming have a relationship with agricultural information via WhatsApp. The four factors that make up the accessibility of information consist of completeness of features, icons/images that are easy to remember & find, ease of navigation and attractive appearance/interface, all of which are stated to have a relationship with agricultural information via WhatsApp. In addition, the research findings provide an interesting picture, namely sending and downloading agricultural info videos is the only media literacy factor that is stated to have no relationship with agricultural information via WhatsApp. Meanwhile, other factors forming Media Literacy, namely Sending messages/chats and calls, Time to find Information and Discussions on WA Group have a relationship with agricultural information via WhatsApp.

Problems that occur CV. Mustika Rajawali, which deals with laptop sales ranking and forecasting, is how to predict future laptop sales based on previous sales data. Forecasting is very influential in determining the sales target that must be achieved by CV. Mustika Rajawali. The method has not been used in predicting laptop sales at CV. Mustika Rajawali so that consumers' needs can be seen, whether it has met the sales target or not. The products to be developed in this study are laptop sales ranking and forecasting using the TOPSIS method and double exponential smoothing. To calculate the potential sales as accurately as possible, it can be done using data mining techniques using double exponential smoothing, while the TOPSIS method is used for ranking. Ranking of laptop sales using the TOPSIS method obtained the sales order of Asus A490JA laptops, Asus A409JP, Asus A409MA, Asus E402YA, Asus TP203NAH. Prediction of laptop sales at CV. Mustika Rajawali with a value of α = 0.1 to α = 0.9 obtained the smallest MAE value using α = 0.9, which is 178,237,067 so that the prediction of CV sales. Mustika Rajawali with the exponential smoothing method using a value of α = 0.9.

This paper describes a research method called two-stage design consisting of the determination of the efficiency for each quick-service restaurant of chained enterprise at the first stage by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), and then proposes an approach of Recruitment and Allocation (RA) plan for supporting the everlasting running of the enterprise in the second stage. The technical efficiency, the scale efficiency, the production efficiency, and the return to scale are conducted in the first stage of this two-stage research design. In addition, this study also proposes the potentially improved value to promote the relative efficiency of each chained restaurant through the improvement of inputs or outputs items. Besides, the RA plan is proposed in the second stage of the two-stage design. The RA plan is an efficiency-based quantitative approach to recruit employees as well as to determine the allocation of those recruited employees. This study indeed provides a constructive and quantitative approach of solving the dilemma issue “how to reasonably recruit and allocate employees” for decision makers with profound insight in the quick-service enterprise.
