POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF WOMAN FARMING GROUP IN THE UTILIZATION OF THE YARD FOR DRUG AND COSMETICS PLANTS USING VERTICAL GARDEN METHOD IN CIBIRU WETAN VILLAGE, BANDUNG REGENCY. The village of Cibiru Wetan is largely a rice field and swidden area with hilly contours and insufficient water availability. One of the utilization of fields with a lack of water is by growing plants that require minimal water, including medicinal plants and cosmetics. The initiation of this activity has a high prospect of success due to the high initiative and participation of the population in the form of women's farmer groups and the family welfare team as evidenced by the many achievements, awards, and skills gained by the Cibiru Wetan Village through the participation of its citizens. Therefore, the purpose of the project activity was socialization and practice at women’s farmer group of Cibiru Wetan Village through the use of medicinal plants and cosmetics with simple appropriate technology through vertical gardening. The method of implementation used in the training program for planting medicinal plants was divided two stage, that was providing information about family medicinal plants ranging from understanding to the benefits of the plants, and the last step was explaining or training and direct practice of planting medicinal plants and cosmetics using vertical planting. The results showed a positive understanding of the two groups of women’s farmer group I and II and the family welfare team, both for the stage of socialization and counseling as well as for the practice phase of planting medicinal plants and cosmetics vertically. The conclusion was the use of medicinal plants and cosmetics could increase the understanding of the target group and the compost produced by residents could be utilized through this activity.

<em>Family planning is an increase in community awareness and participation through maturing the age of marriage, birth control, fostering family resilience, increasing family welfare to create a small, happy and prosperous family. Belawan II Village, Medan Belawan District, where most of the population lives as fishermen and laborers with a medium economic level, very dense population settlements, surrounded by wide beaches and lack of public awareness and knowledge about family planning to make family planning coverage in the village. This is still low, namely 40% of the total couples of childbearing age. From the results of the observations of the puskesmas in accordance with the indicators of healthy families, it was found that the family index value based on families participating in the family planning program was 33%. The intervention carried out to overcome this problem was to provide counseling about family planning, distribution of posters and installation of banners as a form of family planning campaign. Counseling was carried out to 73 heads of families. All the families who attended were very enthusiastic about participating in the counseling. The distribution of posters and banners is done to serve as a reminder to the public about the importance of family planning. The results of the evaluation of this activity indicate a change in public knowledge about family planning.</em>

Social inequality remains a crucial problem in Indonesia. This paper intends to describe the implementation of the Family Hope Program as social protection and its impact on improving family welfare in West Lombok. This qualitative research used an analytic descriptive approach, with a case study in the village of Terong Tawah. The results of the study show that the program beneficiaries can experience welfare, manage family finances well, and meet what they need, not what they want. In addition to guaranteed health services, they are kept safe from a school dropout, especially for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as toddlers and children.

The purpose of this service is to provide training and assistance on the processing and packaging of medicinal plants to develop an economically independent community. Business partners in this program Family Welfare Movement, Kemesu village, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The problem faced by a partner is the lack of knowledge about how to process medicinal plants so that they can be of added value and can be sold so that they can increase income for the family. The method used to solve the problem is by Providing counseling about the use of medicinal plants, Providing training in the manufacture of herbal drink bag product, Providing training and assistance on how to pack herbal drink bag product, and providing training and assistance on how to marketing herbal drink bag product. The final results showed an increase in knowledge after being given education and training, namely the manufacture of herbal products to be packaged and branded, product marketing, obtaining PIRT from the Health Office of the Kulon Progo Regency until printed and distributed by the Family Medicinal Plant Guidebook.

<p><em><strong>Utilization of Eggshell Waste As Liquid Organic Fertilizer in Rumbai Bukit District.</strong> Eggshell waste can be used for the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer. Eggshells can come from laying hens farm waste and household kitchen waste. The utilization of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from eggshell waste is done to minimize environmental pollution. In addition, eggshell waste recycling has economic value. The activity of making liquid organic fertilizer was carried out by 10 Kukerta students, Riau University. The location for making liquid organic fertilizer is in the yard of Mr. Masdi's house, the chairman of RW 7, Rumbai Bukit District. The method of making liquid organic fertilizer is by fermentation for 10 days at a temperature of around 40<sup>o</sup>C. The materials used are eggshells, EM4 solution, brown sugar, and water, while the tools needed are a basin, a bottle, a grinder, and a thermometer. The purpose of this program is to increase the knowledge of the residents of Rumbai Bukit on the benefits of eggshell waste in making POC. So far, eggshell waste has only been piled up on vacant land belonging to the village and as a source of air pollution. Making POC from 1 kg of eggshell powder produced 500 ml. During the practice, 7 bottles of POC were produced containing 500 mL per bottle with a capital of Rp. 5,000 per bottle. POC testing on chili and papaya plants planted in people's yards was carried out with qualitative observations of the leaves which showed wider leaves than plants that were not given POC. The results of the participation questionnaire to increase the knowledge and skills of the RW 7 Rumbai Bukit community in participating in activities and developing POC manufacturing increased by 87.5%. This outreach activity adds to the value of eggshell waste every 1 kg after it becomes a POC, which is sold for a profit of Rp. 10,000. Utilization of eggshell waste as POC can increase the economy of the Family Welfare Development (PKK) women's group by 50%.</em></p>

This study aims to determine the extent of the role of the family welfare empowerment program (PKK) in increasing women's empowerment in Telaga District. This research is a qualitative research with data collection method through interviews and documentation. The research results obtained that the implementation of the PKK program has provided many benefits in empowering women, especially in the village. The success was obtained thanks to government support at the sub-district level and also for direct coaching by the Gorontalo Regency PKK management to sub-district and village PKK. The PKK program is also not fully implemented. The main obstacles faced are the low capacity of the community, especially women, and the lack of mastery of technology. For this reason, active participation and full support from the government are needed in the development and maximization of the PKK program. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sejauhmana peran program pemberdayaan kesejahteraan keluarga (PKK) dalam meningkatkan pemberdayaan perempuan di Kecamatan Telaga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa pelaksanaan program PKK telah banyak memberikan manfaat dalam pemberdayaan perempuan khususnya di Desa. Keberhasilan diperoleh berkat adanya dukungan pemerintah di tingkat kecamatan dan juga atas pembinaan langsung oleh pengurus PKK Kabupaten Gorontalo kepada PKK kecamatan hingga desa. Program PKK juga belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Hambatan utama yang dihadapi adalah masih rendahnya kapasitas masyarakat khususnya perempuan serta masih minimnya penguasaan terhadap teknologi. Untuk itu diperlukan partisipasi aktif dan dukungan penuh dari pemerintah dalam pengembangan dan maksimalisasi program PKK.

This service activity aims to provide independent care for the use of medicinal plants and traditional medicines as a promotional and preventive effort, which is beneficial for the efficiency and effectiveness of families in maintaining the family health. Independent care is built in the form of a cadre of TAMAWA (Tanam-Manfaat-Waspada/Grow-Use-Alert) frameworks of medicinal plants and traditional medicines, the participants of which are PKK in the village of Pucung Kranggan II. The TAMAWA cadres were formed in each neighbourhood association /RT, with four members per RT. The TAMAWA framework was formed and guided by a community service team, in collaboration with the Center for Herbal Medicine Study (PSOH UII) of the Department of Pharmacy, Universitas Islam Indonesia through several activities, including training in traditional medicinal/medicinal plants, training in traditional medicinal recipes, and the built of a family medicinal plant garden (TOGA). The output of this service is the production of a smartbook for TAMAWA cadres containing the types, benefits, usage preparations, drug interactions and side effects of medicinal plants/traditional medicines and the built of  TOGA gardens in each RT in the village. Other outputs have also been produced, such as information media in the form of videos and brochures. It is hoped that this service program will increase public knowledge of medicinal plants/traditional medicines. Also, it is hoped that the community will be more independent and empowered to manage daily health

The purpose in this research are knowing the role of the coordinator of the familf welfare empowerment (PKK) in an effort to improve nutrition family in the village Kanjilo Kabupaten Gowa. This Study adopted qualitative approaches with the descriptive. Data collected by using observation, interview, and documentation. Data analyze by data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verifying. The role of the coordinator of the family welfare empowerment (PKK) in a effort to improve nutrition family in the village Kanjilo district Gowa, was implemented through the:  Information about the importance of health services post nutritional supplements; monitoring of families that experienced the malnutrition; Concern the family against  the clean and healthy living as well as food consumption pattern are all in good health and nutritional balanced; Reduction disorder due to lack of salt iodine (GAKY); Suplementasi the nutrient; The breastfeeding  exclusive for 6 (six) months; Food a companion milk mother (MP-ASI).

Maternal mortality) is one of the important indicators of the degree of public health. In the Strategic plan of Ministry of Health 2015-2019 which confirms the Indonesian healthy Program through the family approach is a Program that supports the movement of healthy Living Community (GERMAS) Puskesmas Banyuputih follow up the program To make the innovation Program you want to maintain health should be able. Referring to the program then researchers make the development of the care module pregnant mothers consisting of family standby, healthy souls and recognize the signs of early pregnancy danger in the village Sumberejo Banyuputih Situbondo compiled in the form of modules. This research uses research and development methods or better known as Research and Development. The research subject used by researchers is all II and III trimester pregnant mothers who meet the criteria of inclusion and exclusion and are willing to be the subject of research. The results showed that the majority of respondents amounting to 83.3% (25 people) experienced increased knowledge and no declining knowledge. After research, there is an impact on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women because of the many advantages of the pregnant women care module that can improve the knowledge of mothers and increase the insight of pregnant women around pregnancy information

The results of the study found that the responsibility of religious education of children in the family of Tablighi Jama'ah differed in terms of several conditions, namely first, when parents were not going to khuruj where both parents were responsible for children's education; secondly, when the father goes khuruj, then the mother is responsible for everything including children's education; third, when both parents go khuruj, then the responsibility of the child is left to other family members such as grandparents or their first adult children; and fourth, when the child goes to khuruj, where parents are responsible for children's religious education both mother and father. The pattern of the religious education in the Tablighi Jama'ah family in the village of Bolang is formed from several similarities held in the implementation of religious education, one of which is the daily activity that is carried out by the Tablighi Jama'at family. Al-Qur'an becomes one of the material given to children in the ta'lim. Children are taught how to read the Qur'an and memorize short letters such as Surat al-Falaq, al-Ikhlas, and so on. In addition to al-Qur'an, in this ta'lim there is a special study in the Tablighi Jama'ah, which is reading the book of fadhilah ‘amal, and the last is mudzakarah six characteristics.

The Handicraft of embroidery “palaminan” in Nareh Pariaman is an old culture product which is used for social purposes. As the time goes, now, the “palaminan” is not only used by the king or noblesse. Right now, it has been used in mostly wedding parties of Minangkabau tradition. It is used as the seat of the bride groom and bride who are called king and queen for a day. Regarding this theme, when we see the several various of palaminan, it looks like been influenced by the Chinese and Hindi/Gujarat Custom. Such as phoenix 9(bird) and lion decorated at the “palaminan”, or for the Gujarat custom, there are embroidery with mirrors that decorate the palaminan. The mirror embroidered for the people of Nareh Pariaman has the meaning “suluah bendang” in the village. The art of embroidery palaminan Nareh Pariaman has many structures which are connected to each other. They can not be separated in each use. The structures are decorated by the many kinds of Minangkabau decoration. Most of the decorating comes from application of the Minangkabau’sphilosophy known as “alam takambang Jadi Guru”. The philosophy has symbolic meaning that contains some lessons about managing humans life, especially for people of Nareh Pariaman.Keywords: beyond culture, motif, pelaminan
