"The Austrian Bregenzerwald (Bregenz Forest) is a region dear to Bernardo Bader because of both personal and cultural reasons, often used as reference in his work. His familiarity with the region creates an understanding of and a commitment to the needs of the local population and the requirements of everyday life, to which his office provides architectural answers. The Bregenzerwald is well known for its craftsmanship: tried and trusted methods are held in high regard – they convey a sense of tradition, combined with a spirit of experimentation and innovation. In his architecture, Bernardo Bader transforms the impulse to achieve perfect craftsmanship through a methodological and conceptual openness towards workmanship. His is a true “stance”, i.e., an attitude towards people and things. Bernardo Bader’s stance is sincere and authentic. It relates to the regional and personal context – the context of the village, the neighbourhood, the living conditions of the users, the surroundings, – and the underlying cultural, political and economic conditions. At the same time, his stance goes beyond, it dares to take a broader perspective in order to create buildings that are meant to last. The aim of his architectural study is to produce elements for everyday use that are long-lasting, thereby unpretentiously replacing the term “sustainability”, eventually creating an atmosphere, a mood, a form of echo. The aim of Bernardo Bader’s architecture is to produce spaces that create an echo, that inspire our senses – and through our senses, our minds and behaviour. Each decision matches a gesture. These individual decisions are considerate and careful in producing a coherent unity with a lightness that shows in its single elements and as a whole. Working together means that high quality standards are expected, but also that the effort, knowledge and responsibility of many individuals is needed. However, cooperation is also the basis for further development and the establishment of a culture of criticism that is constructive rather than self-serving. Better solutions are created when colleagues exchange ideas: this makes them invaluable and a source of joy for all participants, including clients, users and the overall building culture."

AbstractThis paper considers whether Tory in Buryatia can survive as a community. It is argued that Tory came to be a unified community under the Soviet regime from the 1930s onwards. As Soviet institutions strengthened, the earlier Buryat society lost its integrity and came to consists of familial groups isolated from and opposed to public life, yet economically dependent on the collective farm. With the 1990s outside support was withdrawn from the collective farm. There is a real possibility that if it collapses altogether, the household economies will collapse with it. It is argued that a large proportion of people in the village have become psychologically accustomed to dependency on the state and may be incapable of self-reliance. Meanwhile, the young generation is oriented to urban and outside culture and may drop out of any process of village adaptation to the new economic conditions.

The article considers the main stages in formation of the method for the comparative historical typology the first steps of which were made by A.N. Veselovsky in the second half of the 19 th century. For example, the point elaborated upon in “Historical Poetics” concerning consequential evolution of genres and poetic forms that reflect social reality became the starting point for the further development of that method. Work in this direction was continued later on by V.M. Zhirmunsky. At the beginning of his career in academia he dwelled upon the issues of literary theory and – while keeping “Historical Poetics” in high regard – continued Veselovsky’s work in the field of literary studies. However, turning to folklore material, he managed to develop the basic principles of the comparative historical method: first of all, he had analysed and systematised the extensive epic material, what allowed him to reveal in the folklore work the national and the general, for the successful search and analysis of which the method was necessary. The author analysis of the works of Zhirmunsky, that contain his main ideas, and considers not only his suggestions on how to work with folk material, and also the features of the comparative typological method, as well as the development of Zhirmunsky’s ideas in the works of his students, followers and scientists who came to a similar result on their own (for example, V.Ya. Propp) and influenced further refinement of the methods of comparative typology.

The study considered the main approaches to the concept of diversification. It was determined that there are different types of diversification depending on the sources of its origin, but the main groups of classification are: functional (by processes), commercial and resource. In general, the economic system can have four typical situations when a process of diversification (specialization) occurs: 1) specialization is more profitable than the possible option of diversification; 2) specialization is the only possible way of further development and existence for this economic system in specific economic conditions; 3) diversification is more profitable than specialization; 4) diversification is the only possible way of further existence and development. Diversification is especially important in conditions of uncertainty in the development of the external environment. In such situations, diversification is the only way to avoid collapse and achieve sustainable development. The firm makes several bets in the hope that at least one of them will win. Offensive motives include aggressive growth policies; financial opportunities; overcoming the limits of growth; achieving synergistic effects. Here it is necessary to determine the presence of defense motives for the use of diversification: the distribution of business risk; reduction of cyclical instability; replacement of the declining activity. In accordance with the objectives of the study for the trucking company, it is possible to propose the use of such diversification strategies as industrial diversification, which is realized through changes in the production capacity of the trucking company; marketing diversification, which will promote the positioning of the relocation service in different market segments, and competitive diversification, which should be carried out using the methods of portfolio analysis of the company's positioning in the market.

The main contribution of this paper is an analysis of the nature of the link between internal coherence and risk aversion. Both variables play an important role in individual decisions concerning risk behaviors. We compare the levels of internal consistency and risk aversion among smokers and non-smokers. To measure the individual internal coherence and risk aversion; we use a survey that includes lottery questions. Our results confirm that smokers are consistent in their decisions and they behave as risk averse. These results should be treated with circumspection as lottery questions are based on monetary expectations that depend on socio-economic conditions and they obviate other dimensions such as social recognition.

ABSTRACTThis dedication aims to provide knowledge and teaching about making mocaf flour and its use as a substitute of wheat flour in making noodles so it can help mothers in Jaya Sakti Village in fulfilling their need to make noodles from mocaf flour in the hope that the product can be sold so that can increase income for their families.Target audiences are PKK mothers and residents around Jaya Sakti Village. Trainingthis was held in one meeting, the meeting was held at the Village Head's houseJaya Sakti Muaragembong BekasiThe meeting begins with the opening then gives the material and practice of making mocaf flour, and making noodles from mocaf flour. For basic materials used mocaf flour noodles that have been ready to use.Mocaf Flour (Modified Cassava Flour), is a flour product of cassava / cassava that is processed using the principle of modifying cassava cells by fermentation. Increased microbes cause characteristic changes in the resulting flour, namely increased viscosity, gelability, rehydration, and ease of dissolution. Microbes also produce organic acids, especially lactic acid which will be added to the flour, and when the flour is processed it will produce a distinctive flavor and taste image, which can mask the flavor and taste of cassava that tend to discomfort the consumer. The texture and color of the mocaf flour is finer and whiter than wheat flour. For further development, then the mocaf flour is applied tomaking noodles, in addition to the selling price is better because it produces other products and can directly in consumption. From the results of this devotional activity look enthusiastic from the participants, because they love to get new knowledge that they can practice in their homes.

This article is focused on attitudes of the local population within the border municipalities in the Euroregion “Drina-Sava-Majevica,” on the further development of sport-event tourism. The survey research obtained a sample of 238 respondents. Collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS (21.0). Analysis of categorical variables (Chi-square test) and coefficients of correlation, together with descriptive statistics, indicated that the local community has reliable attitudes on potentials for development of sport-events, as well as the most popular “Drinska regatta.” However, members of the local community still do not recognize possibilities of using tourism resources for gaining personal and community-wide benefits. Therefore, efforts aimed at further tourism development within the researched border municipalities should be valorized and adequately represented in the tourism market in cooperation with the local population.

Opening ParagraphIn 1971–2 I undertook research in part of the very densely populated farming zone around Kano city (often called the Kano close-settled zone) in order to compare it with a Hausa village, Batagarawa, some 100 miles further north in Katsina Emirate, where I had lived and worked in 1967. At Batagarawa farmland is not scarce and members of the community are free to establish farms on uncultivated (bush) land, some of which is no further than a mile or so from the village. For some 30 to 40 miles or more around Kano city, on the other hand, there is little or no uncultivated bush and farmers with insufficient land are obliged to buy or to ‘borrow’ (aro) farmland from others. My purpose was to compare and contrast the socio-economic organization and economic conditions of farmers in the two localities, with special reference, in so far as this variable could be isolated, to population density.

In the Civil Code regulates agreement, one type of agreement is an auction, however the object of this auction agreement is not an object or animal, but a river. In areas that have natural resources in the form of rivers, these agreements are often carried out, in practice adapted to local local wisdom. The river auction tradition in Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province has been going on for a long time and has become a tradition for the local population. However, in practice there are often defaults committed by the parties. The purpose of this study is to determine the settlement of disputes in case of default by the parties. The research method is to look at direct facts that happen in real terms but still by using legal materials in the form of existing regulations and other sources. From the research results it is known that if one of the parties (the village administration and the winner of the auction) defaults, a deliberation between both parties but if it cannot be resolved then legal action can be taken. Meanwhile, if there is a default between the auction winner and the fisherman, the settlement will only be in the form of a warning and loss of trust without any sanctions.
