Online marketing was one of the newest ways in business. This was inseparable from the importance of the awareness of business people. Jampang Village, Kemang District, Bogor Regency is a focus of Community Service in collaboration with LPPM University Pamulang. Limited educational background considering that low HR makes this business run slowly. The purpose of this social media marketing training is to increase the sales of catfish and ornamental fish with a wider area. The methods used are lectures, discussions, questions and answers and tutorials so that they can immediately practice ways to sell online. The result of this training is that fish farmers can advertise on Facebook in the hope that their fish farming will be more effective.

Jampang Bogor village was one of the areas of fish farming and one of the livelihoods of its people. By utilizing situ in the village, various kinds of fish were produced. Koi ornamental fish and catfish were the hallmarks of these fish farming. Marketing was carried out by fish farmer groups directly to consumers and using online media such as Facebook, Instagram, and other social media, but still found obstacles in marketing. Community Service was conducted on 28-30 October 2018 with participants representing several groups of fish farmers in Jampang Bogor Village. The method used in the form of expository was the delivery of verbal and inquiry material, namely learning that emphasized the process of critical thinking and analytical related marketing management knowledge with an in-depth understanding of the material on how to market the results of online fish farming. Community Service activities produced an increase in knowledge for fish farmers in Jampang Village Bogor, how to manage a fish farming business to be better, able to compete and could be an example for other farmers. The Community Service activities were expected to provide inspiration and motivation for the lecturers/researchers who would carry out the same activities, the knowledge provided could benefit the community, academics, and families.


Social media marketing has become an inseparable part of human life. It allows customers and prospects to communicate directly about various products/services with their friends. This is just a replacement of word of mouth, which place a vital role and cheapest way of promoting product in traditional marketing. The other important and unique feature of social media marketing is immediacy, which allows the customers to approach directly with the business people. Indeed it is helpful to both business people and customers as they can get the solutions with in no time unless it is a big damage. With the process, business people can maintain a sound relationship with the customers very easily as they are responding to their queries instantly. It is nothing but customer relationship management. It is another pivotal element in marketing. All these features will influence the customers a lot in making their purchase or buying decisions. Customer behavior is the study of when, why, how, and where people do or do not buy product. It blends elements from psychology, sociology, social anthropology and economics. It attempts to understand the buyer decision making process, both individually and in groups. The customer purchase intention is an evergreen marketing concept despite ample research has been done on the topic over last few decades. It would be an exaggeration, if we say without covering this concept no marketing text book will complete, that’s the significance of this particular concept. One cannot imagine a marketing book without finding a concept of customer purchase intention. Usually a customer purchase intention will be influenced by a set of internal and external factors like social, economical or financial, cultural, demographic, psychological and of course personal factors. In this day and age, online marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing are buzz words and strongly influencing the customer behavior and in making purchase decisions subsequently.

AbstrakKeberadaan teknologi informasi  memberikan pengaruh positif untuk pelaku usaha. Seperti yang terjadi beberapa tahun belakangan ini, media sosial seperti twitter, facebook, whats app,istagram yang semula digunakan sebagai alat penyampai pesan kini menjadi media memasarkan produk. Alasannya sederhana selain jangkauan internet yang luas, aksesnya mudah, serta biayanya murah. Selain itu media sosial memfasilitasi komunikasi dua arah dengan mengizinkan setiap orang dapat berinteraksi dan berkontribusi melalui percakapan online. Inilah yang menyebabkan media sosial menjadi paradigm baru dalam hal pemasaran produk. Namun demikian kenyataannya masih banyak juga pelaku usaha melakukan pemasaran secara tradisional sehingga  cakupan peluang untuk mendapat omzet yang besar terbatas. Seperti halnya yang dilakukan kaum ibu pelaku usaha ikan asin di Samadikun Cirebon. Mereka masih menggunakan cara tradisional dalam memasarkan produknya. Belum lagi banyak ditemukan kardus bekas  di sekitar rumah warga yang tidak dikelola. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian merancang suatu pelatihan dan pendampingan membuat mini studio dari kardus bekas untuk digunakan sebagai media foto produk ikan asin. Pelaku usaha juga dibekali dengan pelatihan teknik foto produk melalui smartphone. Tujuannya meningkatkan keterampilan membuat mini studio, foto produk dan meningkatkan pengetahuan market acces pelaku usaha. Adapun metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi. Tahapan yang dilakukan mulai dari observasi lapangan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Melalui kegiatan PKM ini pelaku usaha ikan asin dapat meningkatkan omzet penjualan dengan memanfaatkan media social. AbstractThe existence of information technology has a positive influence on business actors. As has happened in recent years, social media such as Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, which were originally used as a means of conveying messages, have now become media to market products. The reason is simple apart from wide internet coverage, easy access, and low cost. In addition, social media facilitates two-way communication by allowing everyone to interact and contribute through online conversations. This is what causes social media to become a new paradigm in product marketing. However, in reality there are still many business actors doing traditional marketing so that the scope of opportunities to get large turnover is limited. As has been done by the women who run salted fish business in Samadikun Cirebon. They still use traditional methods in marketing their products. Not to mention that many used cardboard boxes were found around residents' houses that were not managed.Therefore, the community service team designed a training and assistance in making a mini studio from used cardboard to be used as a media for photos of salted fish products. Business actors are also provided with training on product photo techniques via smartphones. The goal is to improve skills in making mini studios, product photos and increase market access knowledge of business people. The method of community service activities is carried out by lectures, questions and answers, and simulations. The stages are carried out starting from field observations, socialization, training, and evaluation. Through this PKM activity, salted fish business actors can increase sales turnover by utilizing social media.

Instagram is a social media application that is currently very popular in the community, especially among artist, politicians, and business people. Companies or advanced business must quicly adapt to the advancement of information technology in the form of social media as a marketing tool. Instagram social media also necessary to developing educational institutions. One of the educational institution that ae currently developing is the newly established Faculty of Economics and Business Islam (FEBI) at the Kediri State Islamic Institute (IAIN Kediri). This writing aims to examine the importance of Instagram as social media marketing to building FEBI IAIN Kediri Brand Awareness. Instagram social media is considered more effectives to embrace students and the community, so it is expected to facilitate marketing and communication between FEBI IAIN Kediri with the students or other agencies. Desa Betokan merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi besar, mengingat desa Betokan adalah desa penghasil buah jambu dan belimbing terbesar di Kabupaten Demak. Buah jambu dan belimbing sendiri merupakan buah khas kota Demak. Meskipun demikian, sebagian besar pelaku usaha penjual jambu dan belimbing yang ada di Desa Betokan tersebut masih terkendala dalam hal manajemen usaha terutama dalam hal pemasaran dan pengembangan produk. Sehingga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan guna meningkatkan Ekonomi kreatif� berbasis Digital masyarakat di Desa Betokan dari usaha yang telah dimiliki sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan warga desa Betokan. Metode dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain penyampaian materi penyuluhan, tanya jawab dan diskusi, dilanjutkan dengan praktik. Dari pelaksanaan pengabdian masysrakat dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat antusias dalam pelaksanaan penyuluhan yang dilakukan, terlebih pada saat penyampaian materi dan praktik pembuatan akun media sosial dan juga akun E-commerce seperti akun facebook, instagram, dan juga shopee. Terlebih pada masa pandemi Covid-19 seperti sekarang ini, masyarakat selaku konsumen banyak yang beralih dari pembelian secara langsung (offline) ke pembelian online. Dari adanya akun media sosial dan e-commerce ini juga pelaku usaha dapat lebih mengembangkan pasar yang ada.Betokan is one of the villages that has great potential, considering that Betokan is the largest producer of guava and star fruit in Demak Regency. Guava and star fruit are the typical fruits of Demak city. Even so, most of the guava and starfruit selling business actors in Betokan are still constrained in terms of business management, especially in terms of marketing and product development. So that community service activities were carried out to improve the community-based digital creative economy in Betokan, Demak from the business that has been owned so that it can increase the income and welfare of Betokan villagers. Methods used in this community service included the delivery of extension materials, questions and answers and discussions, followed by practice. From the implementation of community service, it can be concluded that the public is enthusiastic about the implementation of the counseling carried out, especially when delivering material and practices for creating social media accounts and also e-commerce accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and shopee accounts. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic like now, many people as consumers have switched from direct (offline) purchases to online purchases. From the existence of social media and e-commerce accounts, business actors can further develop existing markets.

The increasing prominence of social media marketing in advancing the global reach and visibility of products and services is ideal for the South African tourism industry, which depends on local and international visitors for leveraging its business activities and competitiveness. However, what remains under-explored in tourism literature is the depth of integration of social media marketing into the competitive strategies of emerging tourism small, micro and medium enterprises (SMMEs). To address this grey area, this study explored the extent to which tourism SMMEs utilize social media technologies (SMTs) to extend their market share and the implications thereof for the competitiveness of their business operations. Drawing on a quantitative approach, a survey was conducted on 234 tourism SMMEs’ owner/managers in the Free State province of South Africa to establish the impact of social media marketing on the competitiveness of their businesses. Evidence suggests that tourism SMMEs employed social media marketing predominantly for online marketing of their products/services, promoting their products/services, attracting existing customers, and sometimes, for integrating it into their marketing strategies. Results of correlation analysis revealed that social media marketing is positively and significantly related to the competitiveness of tourism SMMEs. The recommendations for leveraging the integration of social media marketing into the competitive strategy of the small business are provided.

Small and medium-sized businesses must begin to understand social media marketing so that products sold can sell quickly. A problem that is often faced by small and medium business people is the limited capital to advertise. Through social media marketing, small and medium businesses will save the cost of promoting their products. Modern marketing requires more than developing good products, setting competitive prices and making it easy for customers to reach. The younger generation will be very happy if business people know what they want automatically. In addition, they will also be open to a product if they are involved not as consumers but become friends. The advantage is that customers can easily submit responses or comments through social media, be it praise, criticism, or even suggestions.

AbstrakCovid-19 yang saat ini mewabah di seluruh belahan dunia memberikan dampak yang cukup besar untuk perekonomian di Indonesia, khususnya bagi para pengusaha kecil. Keterbatasan modal yang dimiliki, ditambah tingkat penjualan yang menurun drastis, membuat para pengusaha harus berimprovisasi berbagai cara agar produk mereka tetap dapat terjual. Salah satu cara paling efektif untuk meningkatkan penjualan bagi mereka pengusaha kecil yang memiliki modal terbatas, yaitu beralih dari pemasaran dan penjualan secara luring menjadi pemasaran dan penjualan daring. Pemasaran dan penjualan daring dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan media marketplace maupun sosial media.  Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pendampingan kepada UD. Evario Mandiri Jaya untuk mengembangkan saluran pemasaran dan penjualan dari luring ke saluran pemasaran dan penjualan secara daring, lalu dapat meningkatkan kesadaran merek lebih luas dari para calon konsumennya Setelah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan, UD. Blitar city has the potential of a superior product, which isnamely Koi fish farming. Koi fish are commodities have a potential market share with a relatively expensive sale value. This potential requires development and assistance activities because this business sector has its own problems. This article aims to analyze the potential development of the Koi ornamental fish business in Blitar district as a form of community service. The analysis was carried out with a literature-based review of research publications and community service. The results of the study were used as a reference for designing community service activities to develop the potential of Koi fish farming in the city of Blitar. The results of the analysis show that the results of research on hatchery and enlargement of Koi fish can be done by utilizing the surrounding natural resources. Community service activities are generally carried out for the technical aspects of cultivation, business management and marketing management. Development of Blitar Koi fish culture can be designed in the form of sustainable activities in accordance with the results of the analysis.
