The postpartum period is the period that begins after the placenta comes out and ends when the uterine organs return to their original state (before pregnancy). One of the complications that can occur during the puerperium is uterine subinvolution, where the uterus fails to follow the normal pattern of involution as it should. So that the process of uterine shrinkage is hampered. Based on data obtained at Polindes BugihII in 2014 out of 10 postpartum mothers at 2-6 weeks, 7 (70%) postpartum mothers had uterine subinvolution and 3 (30%) did not. The purpose of this study was to describe the incidence of uterine subinvolution in postpartum mothers at Polindes Bugih II. This research design is descriptive. The total population in this study were 30 postpartum mothers, while the sampling used probability sampling with saturated sampling technique. The variable in this study was the incidence of uterine subinvolution in postpartum mothers. The research instrument used the MCH handbook, then analyzed using univariate analysis. The results of the study were almost entirely (76.67%) mothers did not experience uterine subinvolution, namely as many as 23 people. The solution that can be done to overcome this incident is to encourage the mother to move and breastfeed her baby as often as possible, because this will affect the hypothalamus and cause contractions. So that from these contractions will result in uterine involution and expenditure of Lochea running normally. It is also recommended for multiparous mothers to participate in family planning programs.

The study examined radio family planning messages with particular reference to the nature of the audience influence on communication content by using a chat program on radio in a developing society. The study adopted content analysis research method with a purposive sampling technique and used a radio script having six items for analyses. Results showed that there were more family planning segments for women than for men and, there were more family planning for drugs/pills and materials/implantation than for injection. In addition, there were side effects in the use of family planning just as there were quite a number of frequently asked questions except for condoms-fiesta/kiss. This paper concludes that radio scripts/messages for family planning programs should accommodate more topics/segments of family planning for men and women, specifically, natural methods should be included. Furthermore, radio family planning messages should focus more on the benefits of family planning and specifically the benefits of contraceptive pill and post pill emergency should be examined. Other formats of programs should be employed in the campaign for family planning messages on radio, and development communicators and content developers of radio family planning scripts should explore more areas to make radio messages more robust.

During labor, women experience many reproductive changes, one of which is uterine involution. If the uterine involution is late to return to normal, it will cause subinvolution, puerperal gymnastic techniques and kegel exercises are the easiest techniques to use and are very effective. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of puerperal gymnastic and kegel exercises on uterine involution in postpartum mothers day 1-3 at BPM Hj. Nengah Mardani Tenggarang Bondowoso. This type of research uses a pre-experimental research methodology using a two-group interpretation-posttest design, with a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling. Data analysis used paired sample t test and independent t test. The independent t test results showed that there was no significant difference between puerperal gymnastic and kegel exercises in overcoming uterine involution in postpartum mothers with a p value of 0.039 (p value> α 0.05). Of the two techniques, Kegel exercises were more effective in reducing involution. uterus with a mean difference of 6.7333> than the mean puerperal gymnastic of 5.8000.
