The results of the study and the data of Ukrainian and foreign scientists showed that children are passively involved in physical activity. School lessons of physical culture lose their priority among the preferences of students. The interests of younger students in physical education contradict with the curriculum. Physical development has a declarative and situational nature, since only about 20% of children engage in motor activity in the morning. In view of this, the author developed a method of forming a sustainable interest in physical education and sports during the extracurricular institution, which has been introduced from 2017 to the present at the University of Gifted Child (UGC), which operates at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine). Here, they have created a special educational, development and leisure environment of health-conscious content. The study confirmed the hypothesis that the effectiveness of this process is provided by a number of conditions: students have knowledge of physical culture and sports, health, well-known fellow countrymen; practical activity of children; valuable attitude of younger students to physical education, motivation for healthy lifestyle, emotional satisfaction from exercise, physical activity, sports, active rest; highly professional teaching staff who are well-known athletes, creative students; innovative methods and forms of learning, etc. It is proved that if significant attention is paid to the cognitive and value components, then it is possible to generate more intense interest in physical culture in children

Purpose: on the basis of a review of modern special literature, develop a questionnaire and analyze the attitude of students to physical education. Material and Methods: the study was conducted on the basis of the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Human Health, Mariupol State University. The study involved 78 students of the 1st year of study, of which 38 students (Gr. 1) and 40 students (Gr. 2). Everyone was asked to answer the question of the developed questionnaire. Results: despite the fact that only 39% of girls and 52% of boys tolerate physical activity, according to the answers, only 21% of female students and 30% of students attend sports sections 2-3 times a week, the rest consider it sufficient to attend physical education classes at the University. At the same time, 44% of female students and 35% of students suffer from colds 3-4 times a year, which in the future, against the background of a decrease in immunity, can lead to chronic diseases. There is also a tendency towards the abuse of low alcohol drinks. Only 31% of female students and 25% of students are fully satisfied with physical culture at the University. According to many students, physical culture should take into account the interests of the students themselves in the form of sectional classes. According to our survey, 63% of girls want to go in for fitness, 37% - power sports, 2 times a week instead of physical education lessons. Conclusions: there is a problem in the current system of physical education, it is necessary to develop and implement innovative directions for improving the process of physical education.

The article consider the issues of organizing the process of physical education in the context of lifelong education, the continuity of programs, methods and approaches in physical education, providing the relationship between the learning process at school and university. It is noted that continuity is the most important component of the educational process, a necessary condition for the unity and consistency of training. Achievement of continuity is possible only on condition of humanization and democratization of the educational process, competence-based and personal approach, as well as the integrity of physical education curricula. It is noted that the effective solution of these problems is impossible without providing a scientific approach to the organization of physical education classes, both at school and at the university, as well as without the formation of a physical educated personality, which is a problem within the framework of the traditional system of physical education. The main contradictions in the existing system of physical education and the components that negatively affect its development are analyzed. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of continuity are indicated. The article summarizes the experience of teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Kharkiv Humanitarian University "People's Ukrainian Academy", describes the distinctive features and positive aspects of the system of physical education formed at the academy, as well as possible directions for further improvement of the system of physical education in the context of continuous education. It is noted that on the basis of 20 years of work at the academy, the "Author's integrated program of continuous training in physical education and the implementation of health-forming technologies at the Kharkiv Humanitarian University" People's Ukrainian Academy" has been developed and implemented.

The differences between the results of the study of the motivational-value attitude of students to learning, physical education and a healthy lifestyle were determined by comparative analysis of indicators with an interval of five years. The issues of increasing the level of students' motivation and their value attitude to learning (obtaining knowledge, skills, and necessary competencies) indicate the relevance of the work. Special attention should be paid to issues related to the attitude of student youth to their own health, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, getting involved in regular physical education classes, in sports and fitness sections. The study (May 2014) involved 208 students of the first (n = 102) and second (n = 106) courses (115 boys and 93 girls) of three faculties of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The survey (May 2019) involved 206 students of the first (n = 108) and second (n = 98) courses (101 boys and 105 girls) from similar faculties of the University. The conditions of the questionnaire, the representativeness of the sample, the direction and programs of training of students corresponded to the previous ones. As a result of a comparative analysis, it was revealed that the indicators with an interval of five years from the first block of questions (students' attitude to university studies) differ insignificantly, but in 2019 they are better. The second block of questions (students' attitude to physical education and a healthy lifestyle), some results differ significantly (got worse) and show a negative trend. Attitude towards a healthy lifestyle (positive): adhere to it - 8.7%, the presence of bad habits - 17.5%, alcohol consumption and smoking - 18.6%; attitude to physical culture (at school - 20.8%, at the university - 20.2%); the purpose of attending physical education classes - by 17.8%, to get credit - 17.8%, desire to go in for sports and sports and recreation activities - 14.9%. The results of the study confirmed the statement that today there is a weak or insufficient level of motivation and value attitude of students to physical education and a healthy lifestyle.
