This research was aimed to develop a Student Activity Sheet (SAS) based on local potency for biology grade XII which is feasible empirically. Eligibility Worksheet was obtained through validation of subject matter experts to assess the feasibility of the content and presentation of the feasibility of worksheets, design expert to assess the feasibility of the design worksheets to SAS developed. Exploiting local potency in accordance with a curriculum that gives freedom to each school consider the potency of the school and the surrounding area. This can be done by incorporating elements of local potency in learning activities through the creation of learning media in the form of worksheets. Examples of local potencies have been integrated into the SAS are distilled palm wine processing (integrated into cell metabolism, fermentation alcohol), the activity of the material have been incorporated in a biotechnology are activities of coconut extraction to produce edible oil. This research and development using 4-D model of development research which comprises the step of define, design, develop and disseminate, however the disseminate stage of this study was not done. The procedure starts from the development stages: (1) problem analyze; (2) design of SAS; (3) validation and field trials SAS. The instruments used were sheets covering the aspects of feasibility validation of content, presentation feasibility, feasibility of the design and questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Data validation and the questionnaire responses of teachers and students were analyzed descriptively qualitative. Feasibility content and feasibility contents presentation SAS based on local potency at biology grade XII has been developed by subject matter experts is very good, in which the feasibility of the content had an average percentage score of 88.10% and feasibility aspects of the presentation of SAS has an average percentage score of 91.35 %. Feasibility design SAS based on local potency at biology grade XII has been developed according to the expert design is very good with a percentage score of 97.00%.

This research is motivated by the still limited teaching materials or learning tools that facilitate students in enriching experiences, developing knowledge and activeness of students, and supporting students to formulate their own discoveries. The limitations of these learning tools will certainly affect the quality of learning, especially in chemistry learning. The purpose of this study is to develop a guided inquiry-based chemical handout on a valid buffer solution based on aspects of content suitability, language worthiness, presentation worthiness and graphic worthiness. The research design used research and development design with a 4-D development model. The 4-D development model has four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was carried out until the development stage and followed by limited trials. Data collection techniques was in the form of validation sheets and questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results show an average percentage rating of three experts at 93% with a valid category. The results of trials to teachers and students each obtained an average percentage score of 94% and 86%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based chemical handout on buffer solution material for SMA is valid and good for a learning handout.

The purpose of the development of this mathematics module is to produce products in the form of mathematical modules based on Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) material that is valid and practical. The type of research that is used is research and development (R&D). The model that is used is the R&D model developed by Sugiyono who has been modified. The stages which are used in this development research only stage 1 through 7. The instruments which are used were expert validation questionnaire and questionnaire response of students. Based on the results of expert validation obtained the results of the validation of material expert 78,84% (decent categories), linguists expert 85% (category of very feasible) and design expert 83,6% (a very feasible category), so that the overall percentage of the validator obtained a total percentage of 82,48% (very feasible category). The results of the small group trial were obtained from the response of students of the mathematics module was 84% (a very practical category). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the SSCS-based mathematics module material for students’ questions in SMA Negeri 1 Metro is very feasible and very practical to be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially circle material.

Abstract In Brazil, there is no consensus on the concept of hospital-based health technology assessment (HB-HTA). There is great variability in the existing models and difficulty in evaluating their results—whether in respect of clinical decisions, quality of care, and hospital policy and management or in respect of optimizing the use of resources. This study aims to discuss the experiences of HB-HTA, its integration into the regulatory system for the adoption of new technologies into the Brazilian public (SUS) (Unified Health System), and its main challenges. During a workshop, a panel of specialists in HTA and/or HB-HTA was formed, representative of four different perspectives: (i) Health services and health technology assessment units, (ii) Academia, (iii) Secretary of State for Health, and (iv) the Federal SUS sector. This was followed by discussion, a preliminary consensus, contributions from the audience, a plenary session, and a final consensus. HB-HTA is not institutionalized, nor is it part of the regulation system for the adoption of new technologies in the SUS. The main challenges are the difficulties in creating qualified teams, financial support, and sustainability. The work of these bodies in respect of the evaluation of new technologies deserves further studies analyzing the relationship between the pressure for adoption from the hospital team and industry professionals and legal rulings. It is necessary to strengthen HB-HTA culture and implement this policy in hospital management, making assessment bodies a part of managerial and decision-making processes in hospitals, and develop regional collaborative networks and a national network of HTA.

This study analyzes the current regulatory system for genetic engineering in Russia in terms of expected amendments related to genome editing technology, given that its products - genome-edited crops - have already appeared on the international market. A list of corresponding concepts that require legal rethinking and definition has been compiled. Changes in the model of state regulation of genetic technologies in Russia are proposed: the transition from a process-oriented regulation system to a risk-based system. To assess the risk of public rejection of the products of genetic technology and new biotechnologies, 931 participants of the opinion poll have been selected who underwent an online sociological survey using purposive sample techniques. The obtained results revealed the innovation potential of the Russian society and experts in the novel genetic and digital technologies in agriculture, their attitude to the threat of global hunger and the application of biodegradable materials and biofuels in relation to the circular economy. genetic technologies, GMOs, regulations, opinion poll, Russia The authors thank the staff of Technological platform Biotech2030, Moscow, Russia This paper is part a study that was partially supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) (project no. 18-29-14067/18).

Practicum guides are printed teaching materials that students can use in the learning process. This development research aims to determine the feasibility of an acid base-based practicum guide for environmental materials with a 3-D model and to improve student learning outcomes through practicum activities and the application of guided inquiry methods. The subject of this research was class XI IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Tenga. The feasibility test for large groups has an average percentage of 88.24% which means that this practical guide is suitable for use with valid qualifications. Student learning outcomes using post test scores with the technique of statistical analysis of one sample t-test (one sample t-test). The results of the one-sample t-test hypothesis at a level of α = 5% were obtained tcount = 4.604> ttable = 1.708. The results of this study indicate that the guidelines for acid-base-based practicum for environmental materials are appropriate to be used in chemistry learning, and the use of acid-based practicum guides for environmental materials with the application of guided inquiry methods can improve student learning outcomes in acid-base material
