The use of wood as a construction material for simple bridges has begun to be abandoned and switch to concrete or steel bridges with considerations of durability and structural strength. However, from an ecological perspective, wood is still the most renewable material by nature itself. Returning to ecologic natural materials is an issue of the United Nation that needs to be supported by educational institutions. This community service begins with determining the span and height of the bridge, followed by planning and calculating the strength of the material. The parts of the bridge are manufactured in the workshop of the Civil Engineering Department, Samarinda State Polytechnic. The assembly and erection processes are carried out in the field. The uniqueness of this program is in the application of the wooden arc bridge model with a raft unloading system by presenting an attractive aesthetic, so that it is hoped that it can again become an option in determining the type of bridge for users.

Alternative solutions to joints of outer wooden solid log walls are based on the current situation on the construction market, which reflects general change in attitude towards the environment. Apart from the evaluation of materials and products in accordance with technological and economic aspects, attention is paid to the effect of individual elements on the environment. This trend is reflected in construction practice by a comeback to original materials and expanding designs of residential buildings on the basis of easily renewable material resources, e.g. wood, which is relatively easily available and renewable construction material. When designing and constructing wooden buildings, it is necessary to take into account specific properties of wood (particularly volume changes), which need to be considered for solutions of individual details. Bed joints of wooden solid log walls are still a problematic detail in terms of thermal technology. It is a contact of two horizontal construction elements – beams, where maximum weakening of the wall thickness occurs. This spot is a relatively frequent place of a recurring thermal bridge during the wall construction. Analysis and improvement of this critical place of wooden houses, which has been more and more frequently built in the Czech Republic, would lead to their better evaluation in terms of heat-technical properties. The aim of the project was to design and examine adjusted variants of shape solutions of joints in between individual solid wooden elements. The project particularly focused on monitoring of surface temperatures in the areas of critical details – bed joints.

Kesetaraan dan keadilan gender harus diwujudkan dalam segala aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam kegiatan pendidikan. Pendidikan responsif gender penting untuk diterapkan di seluruh lembaga pendidikan, sebab baik laki-laki maupun perempuan adalah sama dan berhak untuk memperoleh segala manfaat dalam pendidikan sesuai dengan minat dan bakatnya. SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo merupakan salah satu sekolah kejuruan di Ponorogo dengan jumlah siswa perempuan yang minoritas.Perempuan sering kali dianggap lebih banyak memiliki kelemahan di dalam kegiatan praktik dibandingkan laki-laki.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesetaraan dan keadilan gender pada pembelajaran program keahlian teknik di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sumber data berasal dari kata-kata, tindakan, sumber tertulis dan foto yang berkaitan dengan proses kegiatan pembelajaran jurusan teknik di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kesetaraan dan keadilan gender di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo telah terwujud. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, baik siswa perempuan maupun laki-laki, mendapatkan akses yang sama, kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi, memiliki kontrol dan dapat mengambil manfaat secara maksimal.Namun masih terjadi ketidaksetaraan gender, yakni pada kategori pelabelan, subordinasi dan pemiskinan. [Gender equality and justice are must be realized in all aspects of life, including educational activities. Gender responsive education is important to be implemented in all educational institutions, because both men and women are the same and are entitled to get all the benefits in education in accordance with their interests and talents. SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo is one of the vocational schools in Ponorogo with a number of minority female students. Women are often considered to have more weaknesses in practical activities than men. This study aims to analyze gender equality and justice in learning technical skills programs at SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. The approach that used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The source of the data comes from words, actions, written sources and photos that are all forms of data relating to the process of learning activities in the engineering department at SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. The results show that gender equality and justice in SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo have been realized. In learning activities, both female and male students get equal access, the opportunity to participate, have control and can take maximum advantage. However, there is still a gender inequality, namely in the categories of labelling, subordination and impoverishment.]

The article presents the findings of the research into loading on the carrying structure of an articulated flat car under combined transportation. The refined data of dynamic loads on the carrying structure of a flat car under train ferry transportation, as well as the main loading modes in rail track operation were determined by mathematical modeling. The adequacy of the models developed was checked with an F-test. The results of the calculation conducted made it possible to conclude that the hypothesis on adequacy of the models is not rejected. The peculiarities of the structural strength modeling for a flat car within operational loading diagrams are given. The graphics works were conducted in Solid Works. The capacity analysis was conducted by the finite element method in CosmosWorks. The 09G2S steel was used as a construction material. It is determined that the maximum equivalent loads in the flat car support structure do not exceed the admissible loads. Results of the research can be used in designing coupled flat cars to provide their capacity at mixed transportation.

ABSTRACT: Jakarta as the nation's capital and representative of a country that already has state relations with Indonesia, the placement of its representative offices is more in Jakarta, as well as the presence and development of more foreign schools in Jakarta. Based on the data of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia, the existence of foreign schools in Jakarta approximately fifty (50) fruit either managed by the embassy of the country concerned or from the private sector in cooperation with educational institutions in Indonesia and in franchise only from the curriculum only. As for foreign schools that develop education in Indonesia, one is the Francis LFJ school. Louis Charles Damais Jakarta who already has a curriculum about learning Western art. Community Service (P2M) is one of the Tri Darma of Higher Education as an opportunity for researchers to use constructivism approach as learning emphasizes the level of creativity of students to channel new ideas as self-development of students based on experience in Dance and Music Tradition training, so that children finally able to move the dance and play a simple instrument of Tradition.   ABSTRAK: Jakarta sebagai ibu kota negara dan perwakilan dari sebuah negara yang sudah memiliki hubungan negara dengan Indonesia, penempatan kantor perwakilannya lebih banyak di Jakarta, demikian dengan keberadaan dan perkembangan sekolah asing lebih banyak di Jakarta. Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (P2M) merupakan salah satu Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi sebagai peluang peneliti menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme sebagai pembelajaran menekankan tingkat kreativitas siswa untuk menyalurkan ide-ide baru sebagai pengembangan diri siswa didasarkan pada pengalaman pada pelatihan Tari dan Musik Tradisi, sehingga anak-anak pada akhirnya mampu menggerakkan Tari dan memainkan alat musik Tradisi yang sederhana. Lampung Province is the center of Robusta coffee production while Arabica coffee has begun to be developed in the area, including in Harapan Jaya Village, Way Ratai Subdistrict, District of Pesawaran. This village is an ecotourism destination and also has a potential of agrotourism, especially Arabica coffee farming. The objectives of the Community Service Activities are: 1) Increasing knowledge and skills of farmer group members in Arabica coffee agrotechnology; 2) increasing coffee plantation productivity through proper maintenance; and 3) Formulating a model of strengthening farmer group based on coffee agrotourism. This program was carried out at the Karya Subur Farmer Group, in Harapan Jaya Village in year 2018–2019. The methods used are discourse, training, demonstration plots, mentoring, and discussion. The results of this program conclude that: 1) Increasing the knowledge and skills of farmer group members in Arabica coffee agrotechnology; 2) Increasing productivity of coffee plantations plot belonging to the group members assisted; and 3) a model of strengthening of farmer groups based on coffee production and agrotourism is through increasing group capacity in tourism and tourism activities related to the coffee production process from upstream to downstream, increasing accessibility and facilities coordinated with village officials, and increasing agro tourism promotion especially to educational institutions, professionals, and communities.

State financial reformation, which was followed by the issuance of Accrual-based GovernmentAccounting Standards (SAP), and the Village Law that strongly influenced the teaching skill ofgovernment accounting in Indonesia. This development requires the availability of competent humanresources to participate directly and actively in managing government finances so that goodgovernance in government sector is achieved. Human Resources who are competent in managingstate finances are produced from educational institutions where the teacher is one of the factors thathas the most significant contribution. Therefore, in relation to the development of governmentaccounting today, it is necessary to conduct government accounting training for accounting teachers.The implementation of Community Service activities is carried out by using lecture methods, tutorials,and discussions. Activities have been carried out properly as expected. The training activities werecarried out with the number of 25 (twenty five) participants in accounting teachers in SMA and SMKin Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, and Keerom Regency. The training was carried out with tutorialand discussion methods as much as 60% of all training and problem training / practice activities asmuch as 40%. Participants feel they have benefited from the activities they have carried out.

This research is based on the phenomenon that community service activities carried out by Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (PTAI) from more or less the same year have not been linked to the results of research in the social religious field. As a result, the relevance, benefits, and contribution of PTAI to the community become less visible. This research is a field work research. Partisipatory Action Reseacrh analysis was used in this study. The results of this study are 1) Strategy to build public awareness about clean living in the environment is done by inviting them to work together to clean the environment starting from cleaning the mosque, TPA, Mushalla, and educational institutions around. 2) Strategies to develop a community mindset can realize the potential of nature and the surrounding human resources to be processed through socialization on the use of the natural environment, including household waste, training in making paving blocks from plastic waste, and processing waste into compost. 3) Strategy to build active communication between citizens and the government with assistance to citizens, and 4) Strategy to build a spirit of diversity in the community.

Updating ones professional skills, continuing education and the ability to work successfully in multidisciplinary environments have become increasingly critical to staying competitive in the face of rapid advances in technology and the current trends toward outsourcing of engineering jobs. Mechanical engineers, specifically, are continuously confronted with staying current with proficiency in CAD and FEA tools, evolving multiplicity of design materials and increased sophistication of design components, as are their capabilities in communicating with both engineers and non-engineers. A survey conducted of engineering alumni of the California State University, Fullerton indicates how its graduates pursue the complex task of staying current and the degree of successes achieved in this never ending endeavor. The survey evaluated ways and means of these efforts and the employers’ attitudes and support, or lack thereof, towards such efforts, experiences of working in multidisciplinary and multi national teams and attitudes towards community service. Relationships between continued education and career are examined. Implications of the findings to engineers, education and industry are discussed. Roles that educational institutions and professional societies play in this process are carefully examined and discussed.

Long-span deck-type beam-arch composite rigid frame (BACRF) bridge fully integrates the merits of arch bridges and beam bridges, and overcomes the cracking and deflection problems of continuous rigid frame bridges. As a perfect combination of beam bridges and arch bridges, the long-span deck-type BACRF bridge boasts a light structure, a strong bearing capacity, and a powerful spanning capability. From the perspective of mechanical system evolution, this paper theoretically analyzes the structural mechanics of the beam-arch composite system, establishes a half-bridge model for BACRF bridge, and derives the expressions of the internal force and displacement of the beam-arch composite system. Next, finite-element analysis was conducted to analyze how the variation of a single parameter, e.g., rise-span ratio, open web ratio, and side-to-middle span ratio, affects midspan displacement, arch-beam junction displacement, main beam bending moment, and main arch axial force. Finally, the calculation formula for deflection-span ratio of BACRF bridge was proposed based on the maximum hyperplane method. The research results provide a reference for the structural design of similar bridges.

[Bahasa]: Pendidikan adalah jembatan dalam pengembangan retorika dan konstruksi sosial. Pendidikan mempengaruhi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan manusia dan perkembangan peradaban ke arah yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan peran semua pihak termasuk institusi pendidikan perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan, meningkatkan pengalaman dan penguasaan teknologi informasi kepada sumber daya manusia di MTs Nurul Muhsinin. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan observasi, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman guru dalam merancang dan mendesain website sebagai bagian dari sistem informasi yang bermanfaat bagi pengembangan sekolah. Education influences human development and growth and the development of civilization in a better direction. Therefore, the role of all parties, including tertiary educational institutions, is needed in developing education. The purpose of this community service program is to provide knowledge, enhance the experience and mastery of information technology to human resources at MTs Nurul Muhsinin. This program is carried out through stages of observation, socialization, training, and mentoring. The results show that training and mentoring programs carried out can increase the knowledge and experience of teachers in designing and designing websites as part of an information system that is beneficial for school development.
