Abstract- Graphic design is a form of work produced by art workers, with the development of increasingly advanced technology now can also be done by everyone, as long as they want to learn, because there are so many applications that can help someone to produce an interesting work. one of them is by using the photoshop application. Photoshop itself is one of the most popular applications today. So that the community service team provides training in the use of Photoshop applications. This service was carried out by providing video tutorials for the participants to practice directly. After this training was able to increase students' understanding by 53.72%, and students are able to express their creative ideas in editing images and text. Keywords — Photoshop, Student, Creatifity   Abstrak- Desain grafis adalah satu bentuk hasil karya yang dihasilkan oleh para pekerja seni, dengan perkembangan zaman teknologi yang maju saat ini, hal itupun juga bisa dilakukan oleh setiap orang, selama mau belajar, karena sudah banyak aplikasi yang bisa membantu seseorang untuk menghasilkan sebuah karya yang menarik salah satunya menggunakan aplikasi photoshop. Photoshop sendiri adalah salah satu aplikasi yang populer saat ini. Sehingga tima pengabdian memberikan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi photoshop. pada pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan video tutorial untuk bisa di praktekkan langsung oleh peserta.Setelah dilakukan pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahanaman siswa sebesar 53,72%, dan siswa mampu menuangkan ide-ide kreatif nya dalam editing gambar dan text. This community service aims to improve the quality of Toman Fish Shredded and Honey products that have competitiveness, differentiation and strong and aesthetic packaging through training in design of packaging and label. The community service was held in the Lati Petangis Grand Forest Park (Tahura) area, Paser Regency. The objects of this community service are the Forest Farmers Group (KTH) and the Women Farmers Group (KWT). The problems faced by KTH and KWT are: (1) the flagship product has not been packaged in a good and attractive packaging; and (2) lack of skills in making packaging and label designs. This training requires several graphic design applications, so that KTH and KWT's flagship products have the attractive packaging and labels. The output produced is an increase in skills in packaging design and innovative product labels which are expected to increase sales of superior products.

The availability of information and communication technology (ICT) has made it a lot of convenience in everything. An example is the existence of online trading transactions, for we can market these products online both through marketplaces and social media, we must-have products that are slightly different from the others. One way is to design your own product packaging that we will sell, and for example it can be started by making a product logo. This is the basis of community service activities, and this activity utilizes the creative side of partners so that they can create a design that will be packaged in the next stage in the form of merchandise. In this design training phase, partner participants were given the understanding to use vector-based graphic design applications, from creating product logos to digital advertising posters

Many studies have made claims for the positive effects of multimedia in education; however, there is a lack of systematic and comparable research, especially when it comes to video tutorials. This study evaluates the use and benefits of short screencast video tutorials, produced with Camtasia and published on YouTube, in preparing students for research-based writing assignments. The study employs a multi-method research design, comprising an analysis of video-tutorial viewership data from YouTube and a student questionnaire on the perceived benefits of these video tutorials. The data on how the tutorials are used, as well as the questionnaire responses, enable us to highlight which aspects of these tutorials positively affect the learning process, and importantly, how such tutorials should be adapted to be more useful. Findings indicate that the use of such tutorials is more dependent on the type of information included (e.g., theory, instructions or examples), than their length (within the range of three to six minutes). Additionally, novice, introductory-level students appear to have received greater benefit from the tutorials than students with some previous academic writing experience.

The problem faced by students is at the production stage, namely the problem of product labeling. Until now labeling was done simply or without labeling. If students can design their own product labels, of course this will add to the selling value of the product. The existence of labels and brochures also add value to the promotion of student products. The aim of this mentoring activity is to provide training and graphic design assistance to students of SMK. The steps of this community service activities are observations, socialization, graphic design training, assistance in making labels and brochures for student entrepreneurial products, as well as evaluating and reflecting on service activities. The result of this service activity was in the form of training and graphic design assistance for students. All of the activities was well done . This can be seen from the number of students who participated in training and mentoring for three days. In addition, there are positive responses from teachers and students that have an impact on the success of this graphic design training and assistance. This can be seen from the results of student designs that are attractive and can be used as a commercial tool.

Video tutorials are a form of learning through some sort of videos with the help of graphical and audio representations used in it. Video tutorials have a wide history of learning whether it is curricular or any extracurricular activities. It is less expensive and easy to access comparative to other learning mediums. Students can easily access, learn or solve their problems without going anywhere. It generates affection towards learning easily. If learning becomes attractive for learners, then innovation and mind mapping for new trends became easy and joy able (Dempsey ;2005). This study examined the role of video tutorials in increasing the learning trends among Pakistani youth. To conduct this research population was selected from Lahore, city of Pakistan. Sample based on 10 Universities of Lahore and totals 507(males and females) students of different universities included in sample size. The methodology of this study based on survey where as this method used to obtain the data was quantitative in nature. The result showed that video tutorials plays crucial role in increasing the learning trends among Pakistani youth. The new learning trends convert the older once in modern and learning become more easy as well as more interested.30% respondents strongly agree with the statement, 35.3% were agree whereas 20.7% were neutral and 8.5% disagreed. The findings of this research shows that the youth of Pakistan is more intended towards video tutorials as learning medium instead of traditional ways. The results also reveal that, the time spent on video tutorial is relatively high in contrast to the older trends of learning.

Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengalaman menggunakan video tutorial untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran daring di masa pendemi virus corona dan respons mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan video tutorial. Metode penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Instrumennya adalah angket yang dikembangkan dari teori difusi inovasi Rogers. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses penggunaan video tutorial sebagai media pembelajaran terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: persiapan, perekaman, penyelesaian akhir, dan implementasi. Respons mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan video tutorial telah memperoleh skor 4,09 yang berarti baik. Penilaian respons tersebut meliputi: keuntungan relatif yang bernilai 4,29 (sangat baik), kesesuaian yang bernilai 4,20 (baik), kerumitan yang bernilai 3,83 (baik), ketercobaan yang bernilai 3,84 (baik), dan keteramatan yang bernilai 4,28 (sangat baik). THE USE OF TUTORIAL VIDEO TO SUPPORT ONLINE LEARNING IN PANDEMIC VIRUS CORONA Abstract: This article aims to explain the experience of using tutorial videos to support online learning activities during the coronavirus epidemic and student responses to the use of tutorial video. This research method applies a descriptive quantitative approach. The instrument is a questionnaire developed from Rogers' diffusion innovation theory. The results of this study indicate that the process of using tutorial video as a learning medium consists of four stages, namely: preparation, recording, completion, and implementation. Student responses to the use of video tutorials have obtained a score of 4.09, which means good. The response assessment included aspects of relative advantage valued at 4.29 (very good), compatibility valued at 4.20 (good), complexity valued at 3.83 (good), trialability valued at 3.84 (good), and observability valued 4.28 (very good).

Abstract: The theme of community service activities carried out in Pinanggripan village, Air Batu Subdistrict, Asahan Regency is "Implementation of Corel Draw X4 Application for Graphic Design for Pinanggripan Village Devices, Air Batu District, Asahan Regency". The purpose of the activity is to provide knowledge and skills of village officials in designing graphics using the Corel Draw X4 application. With these knowledge and skills the village device can be creative in designing using the Corel Draw X4 application. The skills of the village apparatus in designing will help balaidesa in making activity banners, brochures, and other designs. Keywords: Graphic Design, Corel Draw X4  Abstrak: Tema kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan pada desa Pinanggripan, Kecamatan Air Batu, Kabupaten Asahan adalah “Implementasi Aplikasi Corel Draw X4 Untuk Desain Grafis Bagi Perangkat Desa Pinanggripan Kecamatan Air Batu Babupaten Asahan”. Background: Effective intern training is essential for safe delivery of anaesthesia during community service. Interns are trained using both tutorials and clinical exposure. E-learning platforms using video tutorials may address millennial learner needs better, but feasibility is unknown in a particular local setting. This study aimed to explore the feasibility of using a video tutorial to facilitate intern training. Perceptions of the value of tutorials were also assessed. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted amongst interns who rotated through anaesthesia at a regional hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The interns had been exposed to face-to-face tutorials previously and provided with a video-based tutorial. Results: Thirty-seven of the interns consented (88%), watched the video and answered the questionnaire. All interns indicated a need for tutorials during internship. A majority of respondents (71%) felt underprepared by undergraduate training programmes. Most interns were prepared to watch the video tutorial outside of working hours; however, they were divided over the fairness of using internet access for tutorials. There was a preference for video tutorials over reading a textbook or lecture notes. A total of 88% watched the video from the Internet. One intern did not have Internet access or a computer but the video was watched using a free Wi-Fi hotspot. Conclusion: A video-based tutorial system is feasible but current infrastructure needs to be considered. Interns continue to feel underprepared for internship and request that tutorials continue in internship.

Abstrak:Tujuan pengembangan video tutorial peningkatan kompetensi guru PAUD ini adalah memberikan masukan bagi para guru PAUD tentang cara menentukan tema dan sub tema untuk materi pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip pemilihan tema. Seorang guru menentukan tema dan sub tema kegiatan berdasarkan prinsip pemilihan tema yaitu: kedekatan tema dengan kehidupan anak, kesederhanaan tema, kemenarikan dan kemungkinan pertanyaan peserta didik yang tidak sesuai dengan tema yang dibahas. Program ini diawali dengan seorang presenter membuka program sekaligus mengingatkan kembali kepada rekan-rekan guru tentang prinsip pemilihan tema. Dengan format naratif (presenter dan visualisasi) diharapkan program ini bermanfaat untuk peningkatan kompetensi guru PAUD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan video tutorial peningkatan kompetensi guru PAUD berdasarkan model Dick dan Carey. Video tutorial peningkatan kompetensi guru PAUD secara umum dinilai bermanfaat untuk membantu guru PAUD untuk menentukan tema dan sub tema. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, ahli materi, ahli media, dan sasaran guru PAUD menyatakan secara umum bahan bahwa video tutorial peningkatan kompetensi guru PAUD yang sedang dikembangkan layak digunakan.Kata kunci: video tutorial, peningkatan kompetensi, guru PAUD. Abstract:The purpose of this article is to advise the early childhood teachers on how to determine theme and sub-theme for learning materials based on the principles of theme selection. A teacher determines the theme and sub-theme activities based on the principles of theme selection, namely: the possibility of questions asked by students which might not suitable with the themes currently discussed. The program begins with a presenter opening a program as well as advising teachers on the principles theme selection. With a narrative format (presenter and vvisualization), this program is expected to improve early childhood teachers’ competence. The type of research is development research that is developing a video tutorial to improve early childhood teacher’s competence based on Dick and Carey model. In general, the video tutorial is considered beneficial to help early childhood teachers to improve their competence. Overall, based on the results in the trial phase, subject matter expert, media experts, and targeted respondents of early childhood teachers stating that the video tutorials being developed as feasible to utilize.Keyword: video tutorials, improving competence, early childhood teachers.

ABSTRAKPandemi covid-19 sekarang ini sangat berdampak besar disegala aspek kehidupan, tidak terkecuali bidang pendidikan, pelajaran secara keseluruhan dengan cara tatap muka dikehidupan normal, dituntut merubah metode pembelajaran, yaitu pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ), perubahan ini menuntut pengajaran (guru) untuk mempu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengajaran yang lebih menarik  dan dinamis. SMK 7 Muhammadiyah Jakarta membutuhkan metode pembelajaran tersebut, oleh karena itu tim pengabdian masyarakat dari fakultas teknik uhamka mengadakan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi canva desaign grafis untuk mendesai beberapa hal secara mudah.  Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu pelatihan pengunaan aplikasi canva berbagai materi pembelajaran dengan visualisasi yang mewakili isi pembelajaran itu sendiri, serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam berkreasi. Hasil pelatihan diadakan selama dua hari, metode praktik dengan media daring, kemudian kuesioner bermetode skala likert dilakukan untuk didapatkan timbal balik atau tanggapan mengenai pelatihan ini, dan ternyata didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan bertambah dengan adanya kegiatan ini sebesar 78,57% dengan total kepuasaan secara keseluruhan 85,71%. Kata kunci: pelatihan jarak jauh; pelatihan canva; guru SMK Muhammadiyah ABSTRACTThe current covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on all aspects of life, including the field of education, the whole lesson is face-to-face in normal life, it is required to change the learning method, namely distance learning (PJJ), this change requires teaching (teachers) to be able to adapt to the needs of a more interesting and dynamic teaching. SMK 7 Muhammadiyah Jakarta requires this learning method, therefore the community service team from the Uhamka Faculty of Engineering held training on using the Canva Graphic Design application to design several things easily. The purpose of this service is to train the use of the Canva application for various learning materials with visualizations that represent the content of the learning itself, and to improve teacher skills in being creative. The results of the training were held for two days, the practical method with online media, then a questionnaire using the Likert scale method was carried out to obtain feedback or responses about this training, and it was found that knowledge increased by this activity by 78.57% with a total overall satisfaction of 85 ,71%. Keywords: canva training; distance training; muhammadiyah vocational school teacher
