This study was conducted to determine the level of acceptance among the Bangsamoro mujahidin on the proposed Bangsamoro federal state. Convenient and quota sampling were used among the 120 respondents identified for this study. It is found that most of the participants accepted the proposed federalism of the current government, though having some conditions. The regression analysis result showed that age was negatively correlated with their level of acceptance on the proposed federal state while educational attainment on both secular and Islamic schools was positively correlated with their response to the same provision statement. This study concluded that Bangsamoro mujahidin are now more welcoming to various alternative solutions to the Mindanao conflict within the framework of Philippine territorial integrity.

Background: We have previously shown that multiple prior percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures adversely affect outcome after subsequent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). We were now interested to investigate this effect on a multicentric basis. Methods: Eight cardiac surgical centers from the German Federal State of North-Rhine-Westphalia provided outcome data of 37140 consecutive patients having undergone isolated first-time CABG between 01/2000 and 12/2005. Twenty-two patient characteristics and outcome variables, which are part of a collection of data claimed by the national medical quality-control commission, were retrieved from the individual databases. Three groups of patients were analyzed for overall in-hospital mortality and major adverse cardiac events (MACE): Patients without a previous PCI procedure, patients with 1 previous PCI procedure and patients with ≥2 previous PCI procedures before surgery. Unadjusted univariable and risk-adjusted multivariable logistic regression analysis were applied. Computed propensity-score matching was performed based on 15 patient major risk factors to correct for and minimize selection bias. Results: A total of 10.3% of patients had 1 previous PCI procedure, and 3.7% of patients had ≥2 previous PCI procedures. Risk-adjusted multivariable logistic regression analysis of ≥2 previous PCI significantly correlated with in-hospital mortality (odds ratio [OR], 2.0; confidence interval [CI], 1.4–3.0; P <0.0005) and MACE (OR, 1.5; CI, 1.2–1.9; P <0.0013). After propensity score matching, conditional logistic regression analysis confirmed the results of adjusted analysis. A history of ≥2 previous PCI procedures was significantly associated with in-hospital mortality (OR, 1.9; CI, 1.3–2.7; P =0.0016) and MACE (OR, 1.5; CI, 1.2–1.9; P =0.0019). Conclusions: This large multicentric trial supports earlier results of our single-center analysis, multiple previous PCI procedures significantly increased the event of in-hospital mortality and MACE after subsequent CABG.

This study examined the effects of demographic factors on coping responses among police officers. A sample of 233 police officers completed the Ways of Coping Questionnaire (Folkman & Lazarus, 1988). The regression analysis showed that the higher the reported educational attainment, the more police officers reported coping which was emotion-focused and seeking social support. The rank of the officer was directly related to reported emotion-focused coping. These results are discussed relative to research on the relations of demographic factors and coping responses among police officers.

With the use of regression analysis, we calculated the elasticity of labor efficiency by education level of the employed population. The analysis included regional data from the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia. The implemented methodology is based on econometric models of labour productivity in the regions of the Siberian Federal District of Russia. It is shown that the level of education of the working population is a significant factor in determining the productivity of labour in the regions of the Siberian Federal District of Russia.

This article analyzes the impact of immigrants' educational attainment on employment in agricultural, industrial, and services sectors. The research compares data of OECD-20 countries in the period of 1980–2010. The goal of the paper is to analyze the theoretical interpretations of immigration and employment; to measure the impact of immigrants' educational attainment on employment by carrying out an empirical research in selected countries. Empirical analysis has been performed using the methods of descriptive statistics, correlation, regression analysis and System Generalized Method of Moments (GMMs). The results of the empirical research regarding the impact showed that high-skilled immigration has a positive and statistically significant impact on employment in industrial and services sectors, but the impact on employment in the agricultural sector is statistically insignificant. Medium-skilled immigration has a positive and statistically significant effect on employment in all three sectors. However, low-skilled immigration has no effect on employment in either agricultural, industrial or services sectors.

This study aims to research determine the effect of job stress against job satisfaction employees in the branch offices of PT. Pegadaian (Persero). Variabel studied were job stress as the independent variable (X) and variable job satisfaction as the dependent variable (Y). The method used in this study is quantitative research. The sample in this study amounted to 31 respondents. Techniques used in the purposive sampling and quota sampling. The data analysis technique are used to test the hypothesis is a simple regression analysis using SPSS version 17.00. Based on the calculations, the p value for the correlation of job stress and job satisfaction of 0.001 (p < 0,05). Regression equation, Y = 116,144 – 0,656X and the level of influence (R Square) of job stress on job satisfaction is 0.284, which means that job stress affects job satisfaction by 28,4% and the remaining 71,6% is influenced by factors other than job stress. Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted so it can be concluded that there was a significant influence between job stress on job satisfaction of employees in branch offices PT.
