Kids’ future and development will really depend on the experience they obtained, included education and various parenting patterns consisting of democratic parenting, permissive parenting, and authoritarian parenting. The purpose of this research is to find out the description of parenting pattern which causes temper tantrum at Pembina Kindegarten Pekanbaru City. The method of this research was descriptive study to find out the description of parenting pattern which causes temper tantrum in pre school age with total samples were 109 respondents. The research results show that democratic parenting is 41 (37,6%), permissive parenting is 63 (57,8%), while authoritarian parenting is 5 (4,6%) and the result of temper tantrum obtains heavy temper tantrum in the amount of 2 children (1,8%), medium temper tantrum in the amount of 33 people (30,3%), and light temper tantrum in the amount of 74 people (67,9%). These results show that the majority of parenting pattern at Pembina Kindegarten Pekanbaru City is permissive and the majority occurance is light temper tantrum.

Pola asuh adalah karakteristik yang dimiliki orang tua dalam pengasuhan pada anak yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Ada tiga jenis pola asuh yang biasa diterapkan oleh orang tua yaitu demokratis, permisif dan otoriter (Baumrind, 2010). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua tunggal pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik perekrutan partisipan secara purposive sampling. Kriteria perekrutan partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah orangtua tunggal yang memiliki anak usia dini dan ada 60 partisipan, 9 laki-laki dan 51 perempuan, yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form kepada para partisipan tesebut selama enam bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 51,4% partisipan penelitian yang menerapkan pola asuh demokratis, 27,9% menerapkan pola asuh otoriter dan 20,7% menerapkan pola asuh permisif pada anak usia dini. Parenting is a set of characteristic that parents have in caring for their children on a sustainable manner. There are three types of parenting styles that are usually applied by parents, namely democratic, permissive and authoritarian (Baumrind, 2010). This research aims to determine the parenting styles that applied by single parents in early childhood. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach and purposive sampling technique. The inclusion criteria for participants recruitment was single parent who has early age children and there were 9 male and 51 female participants who met this criteria. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to those participants for six months. The results of this study indicate that there are 51,4% of study participants who apply democratic parenting, 27.9% apply authoritarian parenting and 20.7% apply permissive parenting in early childhood.

This study aims to analyze parenting patterns and their impact on the development of early childhood social attitudes. This research is qualitative research using a case study design in class B Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan, on Jl. Karya Jaya, North Sumatra. This study's primary informants are the parents of students who carry out their family environment care. Data collection techniques were using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was through stages developed by Miles and Huberman. Checking the validity of the user data was through the triangulation of sources and techniques. This study indicated that the parenting patterns of early childhood parents of Class B RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan consist of three styles, i.e., permissive, authoritarian, and democratic parenting. The most dominant style of parenting parents as permissive parenting. Permissive parenting pattern has implications for the tendency of children to have poor social attitudes. Authoritarian parenting pattern has consequences for the tendency of children to have anti-social attitudes. The style of democratic parenting has implications for the tendency of children to have prosocial attitudes.

This article discusses Parenting Patterns for Cadets and all things tied to parenting in the New Normal Period of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The new normal parenting pattern for Barombong Maritime Polytrvhnic cadets is the cadets' perception of parenting patterns based on three kinds of parenting patterns, namely authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting and permissive parenting, which have been adapted to Permanent Daily Activity (KHST) and Cadet Rules and Regulations (PERTIBTAR) the New Normal rules given to Barombong Maritime Polytechnic cadets. The cadet parenting pattern is the cadet's perception of the parenting pattern given to the cadets in the Barombong dormitory Polytechnic, based on the measurement of three kinds of parenting patterns, namely authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting and permissive parenting. cadets to be able to enter campus must be adjusted to the requirements of the Covid-19 Task Force and the Barombong Maritime Polytechnic. The cadets who meet the requirements according to the provisions can enter the dormitory and take part in permanent daily activities (KHST). The daily activities of the cadets during this pandemic are arranged according to the health protocol so that a new Permanent Daily Activity (KHST) schedule is made that has been adapted to the conditions of the Pandemic, as well as Cadet Rules and Regulations (PERTIBTAR) with the current pandemic conditions, there have been additional rules for Cadet Rules And Regulations (PERTIBTAR) that existed previously.

This study discusses the decision of French tourists on their planned visit to Bali in the new normal era in 2021. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data was obtained by means of online interviews and questions and answers via email to 35 potential tourists. Based on the results of research that has been done, it was found that two decisions of French tourists regarding their vacation plans to Bali, namely: (1) Cancellation of tour trips with the consideration of (a) changes in tourist budgets and financial plans, (b) health reasons for tourists, (c) difficulty in managing time, and (d) the uncertainty of the global situation. (2) Delay or reschedule Tour trips. The factors that influence tourists to continue their travel agenda to Bali with a note of rescheduling, namely: (a) Advances that have been paid to travel agents, (b) the need for post-lockdown holidays during 2020, and ( c) vaccination as an effort to protect the tourists from Covid-19. The hope is that the exposure of the research results can be a reference for researchers, tourism service business actors, and tourists to work together to implement health protocols in all tourism activities for a better Indonesian tourism. The purpose of this research is to measure the percentage of management readiness of PKBM in following accreditation. This research was a quantitative descriptive study using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The sample in this study was 8 respondents who were PKBM managers in Rejang Lebong Regency. The finding obtained from the results of the PKBM readiness in registering institutions in SISPENA showed a percentage of 84.28571% so that it was included in the category of very ready to register their institutions at SISPENA. For the readiness of 8 standard documents, the research results obtained show a percentage of 71.25673% so that it was included in the quite ready category. For performance readiness/ implementation of activities, the results of the study showed a percentage of 62.32039% so that it was included in the category of not ready. Based on research findings, it was known that the obstacles in preparing the accreditation process were cost and human resources. The conclusion from this study was that PKBM managers in Rejang Lebong Regency were very prepared to register their institutions in SISPENA because all PKBM already have an NPSN as the main requirements for admission to SISPENA. In addition, it was also known that PKBM managers are quite prepared in preparing 8 standard documents because on average PKBM managers already have 8 standard documents. The manager of PKBM was not ready to prepare the performance/implementation of activities because the data found was not in accordance with 8 standard documents.

Dental caries is one of the most common oral health problems that mainly affects children and young people of school age, altering the general health and quality of life of people, thus becoming a public health problem. Objective: The aim of this study was to obtain the incidence of bad oral hygiene related to mood in 12-year-old school children in the parish of San Sebastián, Cuenca-Ecuador. Methods: For this study, a quantitative approach was used, from a descriptive study, where 281 twelve-year-old school children were analyzed. Results: By means of the Kendall analysis method applied to the CPOD and mood limitation variables, the results were 0.987 in the female gender and 0.304 in the male gender. Conclusion: No relation between CPOD level and mood was found

Childhood is a golden period to maximize personality formation. In the potential for social development of children's characters, the environment is very decisive in its formation, including what children read. The lack of social character possessed by children today presents its own challenges for parents. Researchers examine the story book Stilts Loans and Proud published by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This study is a qualitative descriptive study with the type of library research. This research results that the reading books published by the KPK contain integrity values, including; value of care and responsibility.

Aim: The present study aimed to evaluate the association between parenting styles, child's behavior in dental setting and dental caries status. Study design: Children aged 3–7 years on their first dental visit were included in the study. Their parents were asked to complete Parenting Style Dimension Questionnaire (PSDQ) to assess their parenting style. Oral prophylaxis was performed for the children and their behavior was assessed using Frankl behavior rating scale. Their caries status was recorded using DMFT/deft index. Results: Out of 315 parents, 240 parents exhibited authoritative parenting style, 45 exhibited permissive and 30 exhibited authoritarian parenting style. Permissive parenting was associated with four-fold increase in the child's negative dental behavior and authoritarian parenting showed two-fold increase in the negative behavior of children compared to authoritative parenting. Children of both authoritative and authoritarian parents showed less caries status and the permissive parenting depicted threefold increase in the caries status compared to authoritative parenting. Conclusion: Children of both the permissive and authoritarian parents showed more negative dental behavior than children of authoritative parents. Children of permissive parents showed increased caries status compared to the children of authoritative parents.

  Parenting style are all forms of interaction process between parent and child that will give effect to the personality development of children. The growth of self-efficacy in adolescents is evolve regularly. Beginning of the growth of self-efficacy focused on the elderly, then influenced by siblings, peers, and other adults. In this case the parents and family members have an important role in the formation of adolescent self-efficacy. Patterns of parenting and good interaction with family members is a contributing factor to form a positive self-efficacy in adolescents. Different dynamics of parenting style will also form a different self efficacy in adolescents. The aim of this research is to investigate the difference of self-efficacy based on parenting style of middle adolescents in Denpasar. This research is quantitative comparison. The subjects were middle adolescents in Denpasar as many as 380 people to the criteria of Grade X and XI Senior High School in Denpasar. The sample were selected using Area Probability Random Sampling Method. Method of data collection using the Parenting Scale has tested its validity, the reliability of 0.952 as well as Self-Efficacy Scale also has reliability 0.962. Distribution of the data obtained indicates normal data and homogeneous. Statistical analysis methods with techniques of comparative One Way Anova. Results obtained F = 22.275, p = 0.000 and analysis of Post Hoc get results indicate that the authoritative parenting has a significance of 0.000 Authoritarian, authoritative parenting with 0,000 Permissive, Authoritarian parenting Permissive amounted to 0.163. It means that the difference in self-efficacy based on the type of authoritative parenting with authoritarian, self-efficacy differences with Permissive parenting authoritative, and there is no difference in self-efficacy on the Authoritarian Permissive parenting adolescents in the middle of Denpasar.
