One of the problems in every learning process is the lack of life values for students, especially in science learning. The values of life or living values education are very important to be given to students so that the school can produce graduates who are not only superior in academia and cognitive, but in rustakter education and living values education (LVE). In this context, it is very important to review efforts to integrate living values education in the learning process of science grade IV at MI Tunas Cendekia Cirebon. In order to get the results of the research, the method carried out by researchers is a descriptive qualitative method. The resulting data source is the result of observation, interview, and documentation analysis. The entire data is processed and processed to be presented as a result of the research. The results showed that efforts to integrate living values education (LVE) in the learning process of science students in grade IV at MI Tunas Cendekia Cirebon are students able to understand the values of life and will affect the development of student character. Integration of Islamic education through living values education can also be done so that students can learn Islamic values in the process of science learning through living values education. [Salah satu permasalahan pada setiap proses pembelajaran adalah kurangnya pemberian nilai-nilai kehidupan bagi siswa, khususnya pada pembelajaran IPA. Nilai-nilai kehidupan atau living values education sangat penting untuk diberikan kepada siswa agar sekolah dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya unggul di bidang akademisi dan kognitif, tetapi dalam pendidikan karatakter dan living values education (LVE). Dalam konteks inilah, sangat penting untuk mengkaji upaya pengintegrasian living values education dalam proses pembelajaran IPA kelas IV di MI Tunas Cendekia Cirebon. Agar mendapatkan hasil penelitian, metode yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang dihasilkan adalah hasil pengamatan, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Keseluruhan data diolah dan diredukasi untuk dipaparkan sebagai hasil dari penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, upaya pengintegrasian living values education (LVE) dalam proses pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV di MI Tunas Cendekia Cirebon adalah siswa mampu memahami nilai-nilai kehidupan dan akan berpengaruh pada perkembangan karakter siswa. Pengintegrasian pendidikan keislaman melalui living values education juga dapat dilakukan sehingga siswa dapat mempelajari nilai-nilai keislaman dalam proses pembelajaran IPA melalui living values education]

Islamic multicultural education in formal education can be implemented since elementary school. The purpose of this article is to describe the application of multicultural education with moderate Islamic values through the learning process in elementary schools to shape the character of nationalism in Indonesia. The qualitative method was used in this study to see the phenomena that occur in the field. The data analysis used was the source and technique triangulation method. There were 8 respondents from three elementary schools, namely Sekolah Dasar Negeri 7 Kota Metro, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Kota Metro, and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kota Metro. The research instruments used were interviews, observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed through inductive thinking. The development of multicultural education and moderate Islamic values in shaping the character of nationalism was done through the integration of moderate Islam by instilling tawassuth, tassamuh, tawazun, and amar ma'ruf nahimunkar attitudes by introducing the surrounding environment as a cultural plurality (contextual approach) and instilling an attitude of tolerance and able to coexist with other people. These three steps were developed by the teachers in structured lesson planning by formulating goals, setting essential material, carrying out the learning process, and carrying out attitude assessments.

This article discusses the importance of vision and mission of the Islamic Education Lecturers (IELs) in teaching and learning (TnL). This study was fully conducted through qualitative method via case study. Six IELs were selected as participants and willing to be interviewed, and the data from the interview were supported by three Heads of Islamic Education Unit, 12 lecturers and 12 students. The data were triangulated with the data obtained through observation and document analysis. The data were analysed through N’Vivo software to generate a pattern of themes and characteristics of the vision and mission in TnL. The result found that there were six elements of vision and mission emphasized by the IELs in TnL. Five of them had formed a pattern. That five elements were; students receiving and appreciating, TnL objective achieved, spreading da’wah, moulding students attidtude and thinking, and achieving success in the world and the hereafter. Therefore, a model which is named as Model of the Vision and Mission Practice for the Excellent Islamic Education Lecturers was deloped. From the overall view, the emphasis on achieving mission and vision helps the IELs to successfully conduct TnL inside and outside classroom.

Textbook is one of learning components that plays an important role in determining the success of learning. Textbook as a media and one of main resources in the learning process has a strategic role to be developed to improve the quality of learning and cultivate religiosity of the students. The cultivation of religious characters will be effective, efficient, and interesting if the available textbooks are combined with the Islamic education and characters contents. Those contents will create religious atmosphere and familiarize the students in practising their religiosity in everyday life. In this way, the competency of Islamic education and characters are combined with the competency of other subjects that are packaged in a learning experience. Thus the Islamic values will be formed in students characters.

Mainstreaming the issue of Islamic education in the Philippines will be a major avenue in providing the overall educational requirements for every Filipino Muslims. A qualitative method is applied in this study, which mainly involved analyzing contents. The findings of the study show that Islamic education plays a vital role in peace and development for Muslims-Christians relationship. The study finds out that due to the achievement of peace and development for the country, the government implements Arabic Language and Islamic Values Program (ALIVE) that lead to National Public Holiday, provide equal education, provide opportunity for Muslims scholars and give some advantage to Muslim society in the Philippines. Focus on the issue of Islamic education in the country will create a garden of peace that may lead to respect and harmony.

<p class="15cKeywordsBInggris">Textbooks are a medium of instruction that is often used today and has a broad impact and role because they are used in almost every educational institution. Science teaching materials in the form of textbooks containing western philosophy and religious neutrality pose a challenge to Islamic education. Therefore, there is a need for research on how to package science textbooks to become agents of planting Islamic values. This research is intended to explain the Islamic approach that comes from the Al-Quran and hadith to natural science (animals and plants), the results of which can be applied to the inclusion of Islamic values in the content of science in integrated thematic books for grade 2 Elementary School (SD) or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. (MI). This research is descriptive qualitative with the results of the research that the concept of science teaching materials based on Islamic values must see how the Islamic approach to nature. The author found that there are at least 3 (three) Al-Quran approaches to nature, namely; first, the Koran makes nature an agent for calming faith. Second, the Qur'an provides direction and guidance in managing nature. Third, the Koran describes the laws relating to nature. Thus science learning can be used as an agent for planting Islamic values, both faith, syari`at and manners.</p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak   </strong>                               </p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Buku teks merupakan media pembajaran yang sering digunakan sampai saat ini dan memiliki dampak dan peran yang luas karena digunakan hampir di setiap lembaga pendidikan. Bahan ajar sains dalam bentuk buku teks yang mengandung muatan filsafat barat dan netral agama menjadi tantangan pendidikan agama Islam. oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penelitian tentang bagaimana mengemas buku teks sains agar menjadi agen penanaman nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan pendekatan Islam yang bersumber dari Al-Quran dan hadits terhadap sains alam (hewan dan tumbuhan) yang hasilnya dapat diterapkan untuk penenaman nilai-nilai Islam pada muatan sains pada buku tematik terpadu kelas 2 Sekolah Dasar (SD) atau Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Penelitain ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan hasil penelitian bahwa Konsep bahan ajar sains berbasis nilai-nilai Islami harus melihat bagaimana pendekatan Agama Islam terhadap alam. Penulis menemukan bahwa setidaknya ada 3 (tiga) pendekatan Al-Quran terhadap alam, yaitu; <em>pertama</em>, Al-Quran menjadikan alam sebagai agen penenaman akidah. <em>Kedua</em>, Al-Qurān memberikan arahan dan petunjuk dalam pengelolaan alam. <em>Ketiga</em>, Al-Quran menjelaskan hukum-hukum yang berkaitan dengan alam. Dengan demikian pembelajaran sains dapat dijadikan agen penanaman nilai-nilai Islam baik akidah, syari`at dan adab.</p>

The aims of the research are to find out what contribution Abdur Rozak Fachruddin has made in Islamic education. This study used a qualitative method. The approach is a historical one. Meanwhile, the search of data source uses two methods, namely documentation and literature. There are two sources of data, primary and secondary. In this research, Primary data is referenced through books written by him and books written by others that discussing the figure. Meanwhile, secondary data is supporting data. The results of the study concluded that Abdur Rozak Fachruddin has contributed to Islamic education, especially to Muhamamdiyah School of Education in Indonesia. The efforts were made such as revoking the ban on veiling for Islamic students in public schools, being Muhammadiyah teachers, providing courses for Hizbul Wathon development, and helping establishment of Muhammadiyah University in Yogyakarta.

This research is motivated by the low process and learning outcomes of elementary school students in grade IV SD Negeri No. 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh. So it is necessary to do research with the aim of improving the process and learning outcomes of science after using the cooperative model of the snowball throwing type. The research was carried out using classroom action research (CAR) which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri No. 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh as many as 28 people. Data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets and learning outcomes test questions. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. The results showed that (1) an increase in the learning process carried out by teachers from the first cycle reached 83% and an increase in the second cycle reached 94.04%. In addition, the student learning process also experienced a very good increase, where in the first cycle it reached 71.4% and increased in the second cycle it reached 89.3%. (2) there is an increase in students' science learning outcomes with the achievement of learning outcomes test scores in the first cycle reaching 76.6% and experiencing a very good increase in the second cycle reaching 88.6%. Thus, the use of the cooperative model of the snowball throwing type can improve the process and learning outcomes of fourth grade science students.

Bahasa Indonesia both orally and in writing that have rules of order in order to be used effectively. Foreign speakers are part of the Indonesian language learners because Indonesian becomes a foreign language for the learner. In the learning process found various errors. The purpose of this research is to explain and describe Indonesian language by foreign speaker, youtuber from Brazil. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with approach. The data source used video from youtube. Technique of data completion using note note. Then, the data is compiled by mistake. The results of the study indicate the existence of language errors at the level of phonology and morphology.

Issues regarding intention in learning are fundamental in Islamic Education tradition of Malay Archipelago, however, remain unsettled among the community. The misconception about intention, selection of teachers and knowledge are exacerbated by the emergence of various thoughts that aiming for material, usefulness and pridefulness in learning. Therefore, this article will discuss the issues regarding intention, selection of teachers and knowledge in learning according to Malay manuscripts, the MSS 2906(B) Tibyān al-Marām Ṭalibah al-Ṭalabah. This manuscript is selected because it was the only manuscript that specifically and comprehensively discussing about Islamic education in Malay Archipelago. This research applied qualitative method and content analysis of Malay manuscript MSS 2906(B). Based on the analysis of this manuscript, it can be concluded that the most important intention in learning is solely to seek the pleasure of Allah on top of other ukhrawi and duniawi related purposes. This book also emphasizes the importance of correct selection of teachers, knowledge and books in learning process. There are several teacher attributes and four categories of knowledge needed in learning process. This study is expected to provide solution to the issues and confusion among the community including students regarding the concept of intention in Islamic education as well as selection of teachers and knowledge in learning. This study also will explore the other research related to Islamic education in the heritage of the Malay-Muslim community.  Keywords: Rules of conduct in learning; Islamic education curriculum, Teacher, Tibyān al-Marām, Manuscript studies Abstrak  Persoalan niat dalam belajar merupakan perkara paling asas dalam tradisi Pendidikan Islam Alam Melayu. Namun begitu, ia masih lagi mengundang kekeliruan dalam kalangan masyarakat tentang tujuan seseorang itu belajar. Kekeliruan ini bertambah serius dengan kemunculan beberapa faham asing yang menyempitkan tujuan belajar dan menjelaskan usaha tersebut adalah untuk tujuan material, gunaan dan kebanggaan. Begitu juga kekeliruan berlaku dalam aspek pemilihan guru dan ilmu. Walhal semua aspek ini amat penting dan ia banyak mempengaruhi kejayaan seseorang pelajar. Justeru, artikel ini akan membincangkan persoalan niat dan ketepatan pemilihan guru dan ilmu dalam belajar menurut salah satu manuskrip Melayu, iaitu MSS 2906(B) Tibyān al-Marām Ṭalibah al-Ṭalabah. Pemilihan manuskrip ini disebabkan ia merupakan satu-satunya manuskrip khusus dan ekstensif yang membicara pendidikan Islam Alam Melayu. Kajian ini mengaplikasi metode kualitatif dengan melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap kandungan teks manuskrip Melayu MSS 2906(B). Berdasarkan analisis kandungan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahawa niat yang paling utama dalam belajar ialah memperoleh reda Allah SWT di samping tujuan berkaitan ukhrawi dan duniawi yang lain. Begitu juga, kitab Tibyān al-Marām menegaskan bahawa para pelajar perlu memberi perhatian dan membuat pemilihan guru, ilmu dan kitab yang tepat dalam mengikuti proses belajar. Terdapat beberapa atribut guru yang perlu diperhatikan oleh para pelajar dan empat kategori ilmu yang perlu dijadikan asas semasa memilih ilmu yang ingin dipelajari. Dengan adanya kajian ini diharapkan dapat menyumbang kepada penyelesaian masalah dan kekeliruan dalam kalangan masyarakat dan pelajar tentang tujuan sebenar pendidikan Islam serta pemilihan guru dan ilmu semasa pengajian. Artikel ini juga selanjutnya akan meneroka pelbagai kajian lanjutan berkaitan pendidikan Islam dalam khazanah warisan masyarakat Melayu-Islam. Folklore is part of the community. So that there is no extinction then done as documentation such as folklore Candung Kawik who came from Lampung. Folklore is currently less desirable and does not have a place from the community; therefore, the research is done so that the story still exists. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of Islamic teachings contained in Candung Kawik folklore. The method used to find the values of Islamic teachings is a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis. The primary data source in this study is Lampung folklore. The technique of data collection is done by literature study and recording. The result showed that there were eight values of Islamic teachings, namely faith, Islam, ihsan, taqwa, sincerity, trust, gratitude, and patience. All the values of Islamic education are obtained from the learning and actions of the characters in the story and can be used as learning material.Cerita rakyat merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan masyarakat. Agar kebudayaan tidak punah maka dilakuakn suatu pendokumentasian seperti cerita rakyat Candung Kawik yang berasal dari Lampung. Cerita rakyat sekarang ini kurang diminati dan tidak mendapatkan tempat dari masyarakat, oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian agar ceritanya masih ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Candung Kawik. Metode yang digunakan untuk menemukan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis isi. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah cerita rakyat Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka dan pencatatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada delapan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam yaitu iman, islam, ihsan, taqwa, ikhlas, tawakal, syukur, dan sabar. Semua nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam didapat dari perilaku dan perbuatan para tokoh di dalam cerita dan dapat dijadikan bahan pembelajaran.
