The analysis of the sample by sex, length of service and number is illustrated. The procedure for conducting the research is shown, the stages of research, indicators of a complex psychological test are described. Analysis of variance results are also shown. The results of the analysis of motivational, intellectual and personal characteristics of municipal employees holding various leadership positions are presented. Having studied all the results of several stages of the study, it was revealed that significant differences between the motivational, intellectual and personal indicators of managers with different levels of reputation still exist. Executives with a high reputation score are more creative-oriented and forward-looking. Executives with an average reputation score tend to have either average or high scores on various characteristics. Leaders with a low reputation index are more likely to be result-oriented and successful in their activities. Perhaps in the future, with a more detailed and detailed study of these indicators, it will be possible to predict the reputation of this or that leader and identify reputational risks.

Background.Question about the quality and format of postgraduate education of doctors raises increasingly in recent years. Development of professional standards and transition to a system of continuing professional education have allowed professional communities to raise issues of the quality of modern education but there is no clear evidence of the dependence of the level of education and the quality of medical care in the accessible literature. Experts of Research and Practical Center of Medical Radiology carried out the identification of dependence of post-graduate education length for radiologists and the quality of their work that can serve as a rationale for amending the system of doctors training.Patients and methods. The data on education and actual work of 85 radiologists of out-patient and in-patient units of medical organizations of the Moscow Healthcare Department have been analyzed. According to the results of the audit of diagnostic studies, carried out in the “Unified Radiological Information Service” system by the specialists of the Research and Practical Center of Medical Radiology, the final assessment of the work of each radiologist was formed, which reflects the presence or absence of diagnostic discrepancies.Results.Parameters of diagnostic errors depending on the age of doctors, the general length of service and the length of service as radiologist, the duration of postgraduate education in the clinical specialty and the specialty “radiology” have been compared. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the increase in the proportion of diagnostic differences is directly related to the increase in the age of the doctor and does not depend on either the length of service or the time of work in the specialty. Differences between the groups of physicians with the largest (professional retraining after clinical residency) and the smallest (clinical education + radiology) percentage of clinically significant discrepancies are statistically significant (p = 0.05, at the normative value of the Student's test score of 2.16).Conclusion.The inverse relationship between the duration of training of the radiologist in the specialty and the proportion of diagnostic errors, which can serve as a significant justification for making proposals for the exclusion of professional retraining within 576 hours for admission to professional activities of radiologists.

Problem and purpose. The relevance of the study is due to the specifics of military education, which is characterized by increased requirements for the training of future officers. A special place among these requirements is occupied by professional thinking, the formation of which presupposes both intellectual and certain personal characteristics. The purpose is to determine the prognostic capabilities of personal characteristics for the differentiation of types of professional thinking of cadets of a military educational institution of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. Research methodology and methods. According to the diagnostic results, all cadets (N = 150) were divided into three groups according to the prevalence of a certain level of professional thinking in them; 1) oversituational type of thinking, 2) situational type of thinking, and 3) mixed type of thinking. This variable acted as a response in discriminative analysis, and personality traits of cadets, measured by the 16 PF method, and a number of other questionnaires were chosen as predictors. Research results. The results of direct discriminative analysis indicate a high statistical significance of the empirical model (p = 0.000), having good discrimination (λ = 0.04), consisting of two discriminative functions and 16 predictors. All respondents were absolutely correctly assigned to their «own» groups (100%). At the same time, the highest probability of getting into «their» group is for servicemen with a oversituational type level of professional thinking (82%). Discussion of results and conclusion. The predictive influence of personal qualities on the dominance of cadets of a certain type of professional thinking does not have a separate effect of each quality, but has the character of structural interaction. This research contributes to the psychology of work, contributing to the expansion of scientific knowledge about the professional activities of the military.

Many leaders today do not rise through the ranks but are recruited directly out of graduate programs into leadership positions. We use a quasi-experiment and instrumental-variable regression to understand the link between students’ graduate school social networks and placement into leadership positions of varying levels of authority. Our data measure students’ personal characteristics and academic performance, as well as their social network information drawn from 4.5 million email correspondences among hundreds of students who were placed directly into leadership positions. After controlling for students’ personal characteristics, work experience, and academic performance, we find that students’ social networks strongly predict placement into leadership positions. For males, the higher a male student’s centrality in the school-wide network, the higher his leadership-job placement will be. Men with network centrality in the top quartile have an expected job placement level that is 1.5 times greater than men in the bottom quartile of centrality. While centrality also predicts women’s placement, high-placing women students have one thing more: an inner circle of predominantly female contacts who are connected to many nonoverlapping third-party contacts. Women with a network centrality in the top quartile and a female-dominated inner circle have an expected job placement level that is 2.5 times greater than women with low centrality and a male-dominated inner circle. Women who have networks that resemble those of high-placing men are low-placing, despite having leadership qualifications comparable to high-placing women.

There is need to change the psychological training in internship of future primary school teachers. Changes in the content, forms and methods of work with intern student have regulatory grounds. New requirements for the development of the bachelor professional competencies determine the need for university and school networking. We established cooperation areas between the supervisor, university teacher and intern student and described reflexive reports on the results of students’ internship at school. Job satisfaction among pharmacists affects the quality of pharmaceutical care and patient health. Our study targeted the evaluation of job and salary satisfaction levels in pharmacists and the factors affecting these levels. Methods — We conducted the survey of 407 pharmacists working at community pharmacies in Saratov Oblast (Russia). Results — The proportions of pharmacists satisfied with their jobs and their salaries were 77.1±0.4% and 52.8±0.4%, respectively. We discovered that salary satisfaction was influenced primarily by the household composition (p=0.004) and professional commitment (p<0.001). Pharmacists who were more satisfied with their jobs belonged to the age category ‘up to 44 years’ (p=0.002). They were less likely to change their employment (p<0.001) and more likely to experience positive emotions when performing their professional activities (p<0.001). Also, they were more satisfied with their salaries (p<0.001), committed to their profession (p<0.001), and more likely to perceive the social importance of their profession (p<0.001). Conclusion — Our findings suggested that formal traits of pharmaceutical professionals had a smaller impact on their job satisfaction, while the greatest impact was caused by the personal characteristics (perception of the social importance of their profession, professional commitment), salary satisfaction, age and frequency of changing jobs.
