Jawi script and Khat are a Malay heritage and cultural tradition with high artistic value. For centuries both were used as mediums of communication in everyday life in Nusantara especially in the Malay Peninsula before this role was replaced by the Roman script. The effort to revive the Jawi script and Khat by introducing them in Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) has given rise to issues and opinions from various parties. This study, therefore, was aimed at exploring the perception of undergraduates on the issue. This study was in the form of a survey and utilised the questionnaire method. A total of 326 first semester undergraduates of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) drawn from various faculties and ethnic backgrounds responded to 21 questions in the questionnaire regarding the implementation of Jawi and Khat in Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) Descriptive analysis of the findings showed eight questionnaire items generating 80% or more agreement which proved that the respondents viewed Jawi script and Khat as a unique artistic element capable of inculcating unity. Although both reflect Islamic and Malay history and identity, Jawi script and Khat are suitable to be introduced in schools since these develop various skills and at the same time enable students to produce and diversify creative works in written form.

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan ( R & D ) yang bertujuan : (1) Mendesain model pembelajaran Teaching Factory yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kecakapan vokasional Merencana dan Menginstalasi Sistem Audio. (2) Mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan kelayakan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory, (3) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory. Penelitian dilakukan dengan empat tahapan yaitu analisis pendahuluan, mendesain model, validasi dan evaluasi serta hasil produk akhir dengan menggunakan one group pretest postest control design. Subjek peneliti SMKN 1 Ampelgading Pemalang. Sumber data untuk kevalidan model dilakukan dengan metode angket. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen kevalidan yang terdiri dari desain model, silabus, RPP, bahan ajar dan instrumen evaluasi. Data untuk keefektifan diambil dari aspek soft skill hard skill dan environment skill selama proses pembelajaran. Metoda pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian soft skill hard skill dan environment skill. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabelitas, uji daya beda, uji tingkat kesukaran, uji t dan uji z. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskritif diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran Teaching Factory Merencana dan Menginstalasi sistem Audio telah dinyatakan valid dan layak oleh pakar ahli untuk digunakan. Peningkatan kemampuan soft skill pada Teaching Factory dilakukan dengan lembar observasi tahap I dan II dan dianalisis dengan N Gain, hasilnya terdapat peningkatan secara klasikal 28,21 % dengan N Gain 56,4 % kategori sedang. Dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Teaching Factory efektif untuk meningkatkan kecakapan vokasional Merencana dan Menginstalasi Sistem Audio. This research includes research development (R & D) that aims: (1) Designing Teaching Factory model that is valid and effective for improving vocational skills Planning and Installing Audio Systems. (2) To know the level of validity and feasibility of Teaching Factory learning model, (3) to know the effectiveness level of Teaching Factory learning model. The research was conducted with four stages: preliminary analysis, model design, validation and evaluation, and final product result by using one group pretest postest control design. Subject of researcher SMKN 1 Ampelgading Pemalang. The data source for the validity of the model is done by questionnaire method. The instrument used is a validation instrument consisting of model design, syllabus, RPP, teaching materials and evaluation instruments. The data for for effectiveness is taken from the aspects of hard skills skill and environmental skill during the learning process. The data collection methods used include hard skill soft skill and environmental skill score sheets. While the data analysis using validity test, reliability test, different power test, difficulty test, t test and z test. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, it is known that Teaching Factory Learning Model of Planning and Installing Audio

This qualitative study with a case study research scheme is aimed to find out the factors influencing accounting students’ understanding of the English terminology in accounting reports (balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement). The sample is the first semester students of the Accounting Department of Faculty Economics and Business, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya academic year 2020-2021. The understanding of English terminology in accounting reports can help the students in preparing themselves for Free Trade in a disruptive era. The analysis of this study is using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study are the description of the factors influencing accounting students’ understanding of the English terminology in accounting reports as for the first semester students this specific terminology may cause confusion which leads to misunderstanding.

This research is motivated by the development of children's language, especially in letter recognition. Language development requires more optimal guidance because as a child's capital to enter elementary school education. Therefore this study aims to improve the ability to recognize the language of letters applied using Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models assisted by letter card media in the TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja B3 group in 2018/2019. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, the subject of research was the TK Kartika Singaraja VII-3 Singaraja B3 group, which consisted of 27 children, consisting of 9 girls and 18 boys. The object of research is the child's language ability to recognize letters. Data collection in this study was conducted with observation media. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that an average increase in the percentage of language ability to recognize letters in the B3 group is 25.7%. This can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of the ability of the language to recognize child letters in the first cycle of 55.31% with low criteria being 81.01% in cycle II with high criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models assisted by letter card media can improve the ability of the language to recognize the letters of the children of B3 TK Kartika Singaraja group in the first semester of 2018/2019

SIKAP HIDUP WANITA JAWA DALAM NOVEL BEKISAR MERAH DAN NOVEL MIDAH SI MANIS BERGIGI EMAS    Arif Setiawan Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang [email protected]   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sikap hidup wanita Jawa dalam novel Bekisar Merah karya Ahmad Tohari dan Midah Si Manis Bergigi Emas Karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer yang dikaitkan dengan kehidupan sehar-hari, sehingga menjadi refleksi dalam bersikap dan bertindak terhadap Tuhan, dirinya, dan orang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra, jenis peneletian ini adalah kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis. Sumber data berupa novel Bekisar Merah Karya Ahmad Tohari dan novel Midah Si Manis Bergigi Emas karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa berupa satuan cerita dari kutipan-kutipan yang sesuai dengan tujuan dan fokus penelitian. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini beruapa; Pertama, sikap hidup wanita Jawa dalam kehidupan beragama. Kedua, sikap hidup wanita Jawa dengan dirinya sendiri. Ketiga, sikap hidup wanita Jawa dalam lingkup bermasyarakat.   Kata Kunci: Sikap hidup, wanita Jawa      Abstract: This study aims to describe the attitude of Javanese women living in the Bekisar Merah novel by Ahmad Tohari and Midah Si Manis Bergigi Emas Pramoedya Ananta Toer work associated with everyday life, so that it becomes a reflection of behaving and acting against God, themselves, and others. This study uses the approach of sociology of literature, this type of peneletian is qualitative. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Sources of data in the form of the novel Red Bekisar work Ahmad Tohari and Midah novel Midah Si Manis Bergigi Emas Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data in this research is a form of story units of quotations in accordance with the purpose and focus of the study. Results obtained from this study beruapa; First, attitudes Javanese women in religious life. Second, the attitude of Javanese women live with himself. Classroom action research which be done at VIII E class of SMP Negeri 1 Rendang for first semester in 2015/2016, aims to improve dance skill which a part of Art and Culture (Seni Budaya) subject, it used methods of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT). Data of this research were collected by giving dancing skill test. In analysing the collected data, researcher used descriptive analysis method. Data which resulted from this research consisted of first data, cycle I data and cycle II data. From first data, acquired average grade score is 66.6 and completeness learning is 52%. These data are far below expectation, because the minimum score (KKM) of Art and Culture subject is 70. On cycle I, the score has been increasing, the average score is 72 and completeness learning percentage is 76%. On cycle II, acquired average score has already reached 77 and completeness learning percentage is 100%. Data on cycle II has been as expected due to the use of its constructivist learning model. The conclusion is cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) can increase student dancing skills.

This research aims at finding out the students’ ability in writing an explanation at first semester students of English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang NTT.  The researcher focuses on evaluating the students’ writing ability in five aspects of writing namely content, organization, grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics.  The researcher applied the quantitative method and descriptive analysis design. The research was conducted in August 2019. This research was conducted at First semester students of the English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang.  The population of this research was First semester students of the English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang in the 2020/2021 academic year. The number population is 160 in four classes. The researcher took 5 students from each class as the sample of the research.  Therefore, there were 20 students as a sample. The test was used to find out the students’ ability in writing explanation text.  In collecting data, the researcher asked the students to write an argumentative essay by choosing one of the given topics. To analyze the data, the researcher focused on evaluating the students’ writing in five criteria. The result of the research shows that the mean score of the test is 6.86. It shows that the students have an average degree of capability in writing explanation text.   The biggest problem for the students in developing an explanation text is the organization (43%), it followed by the language use (37%), vocabulary (33%), content (30%), and the smallest problem is mechanics (30%).  Some factors that hamper the students in writing: 1) the students face difficulties in expressing ideas, choosing appropriate words, and arranging ideas in writing, 2) the students seldom practice their writing skill, 3) the students still find difficulty in using punctuation in writing from, 4) the students do not enrich themselves with knowledge.

The purpose of this study is to (1) To find out the importance of work motivation on vocational teacher job satisfaction in the supervision of the eastern part of Pemalang Regency, (2) to find out the effect of compensation on job satisfaction of private Vocational Teachers in the supervisory area of the eastern part of Pemalang Regency, (3) to determine the effect of work motivation and compensation on job satisfaction of private vocational school teachers in the supervisory region of the eastern part of Pemalang Regency. Data collection method used was a questionnaire method. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, test requirements and hypothesis testing which includes simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Factors that affect teacher job satisfaction include work motivation and compensation 54.4%, the remaining 45.6% is influenced by variables outside the study. Work motivation and compensation of teachers in private vocational supervisory regions in the eastern part of Pemalang Regency are categorized while the job satisfaction of teachers in private vocational supervisory areas in the eastern part of Pemalang district is categorized high.

The level of taxpayer compliance in Indonesia in the last five years is quite alarming, taxpayer compliance has not reached the point expected by the government and is verysmallpercentageoftaxpayerswhofulfilltheirobligationstopaytaxes.Toincrease participation in tax payments, the government launched a tax amnesty program. This studyaimstodeterminethedifferencesinperiodI,periodII,andperiodIIItaxamnesty in Malang City. This research includes quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire method. The population of this study is an individual taxpayer in the Malang Tax Service Office. The sampling technique using purposive sampling method is a taxpayer registered at the Malang Tax Office. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and independent T Test. The results of this study indicate that the period I tax amnesty is more influential on taxpayer compliance than the period II tax amnesty and the period I tax amnesty is more influential on taxpayer compliance than the period III tax amnesty. Based on the results of this study, it is recommendedtoexaminethedifferencesinperiodI,IIandIIItaxamnestyinotherTax Service Offices as a basis for knowing the effectiveness of inter-office tax amnesty in the same region.

This study aims to describe the prevailing sijon system in clove farming in Raanan Baru Village, West Motoling Subdistrict. This research was conducted for 3 (three) months starting from the preparation phase until the preparation of the report that is since December 2017 s / d February 2018. The data used in this study is primary data which is research data obtained directly from the farmers as respondents and data secondary data which is a research data obtained indirectly through agency information or documents relating to this research and village data. Sampling method in this study using purposive sampling method, meaning that researchers determine their own samples taken because there are certain considerations. Data Analysis Method in this research is processed by using descriptive analysis and then Analysis This data is processed / presented in written form and table. The process of bond transfers in Raanan Baru Village has been going on for generations and has even taken root in the village community itself. From the results of case studies encountered in the field stated that the transaction system of ijon that occurred in Raanan Baru Village, West Motoling Subdistrict of South Minahasa Regency is done on the basis of both parties have agreed and have good intention to do the transaction of debt by only having mutual trust with each other.
