Abstrak Alat Permainan Edukatif adalah jenis permainan yang mengandung nilai pendidikan yang berfungsi untuk merangsang daya imajinasi anak dalam proses perkembangan kongnitif, proses kegiatannya yaitu pemberian stimulasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan aspek perkembangan dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak yang dinilai dari perkembangan motorik kasar, motorik halus, kemampuan bicara dan bahasa serta kemampuan sosisalisasi dan kemandirian. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh alat permainan edukatif terhadap aspek perkembangan anak pra sekolah. Metode penelitian one group pre-post test dimana peneliti mengobservasi sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Sampel yang digunakan purposive sampeling, besar sampel 17 responden. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa dengan uji wilcoxon signed ranks test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (p=0,000 < α=0,05) artinya ada pengaruh alat permainan  edukatif  terhadap aspek perkembangan anak pra sekolah. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada orang tua dan pemimbing lebih memperhatikan masa perkembangan anak pra sekolah khususnya kemampuan berbicara dan berbahasa serta sosialisasi dan kemandirian. Kata kunci: Anak pra sekolah, Aspek perkembangan, Permainan  edukatif.     Abstract: Educated gane tool is a kind of gane which consists of educational value it is functioned to stimuli children’s imagination cognitively. The process is to give stimulus so it can increase the development skill and socializing a independency. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of educated game tool to preschool children development. The method of this research is one pre-post test group which the researcher observed before and after treatment. The sample is purposive sampling, total of the sampling is 17 respondent. Data which was gotten then analyzed by using wilcoxon signed ranks. The result of the research shows (p=0,000 < α=0,05), it means that there is effect from educated game tool to pre school childreen. From these result, it is suggested to parents a school to pay more attention to pre school children’s development especially speaking, language, socializing a independence ability. The purpose of the research was to improve neuropsychological maturity in preschool children; to achieve this; a program of strategies that reinforced the levels of neuropsychological maturity was carried out. The research had a quantitative approach, hypothetical-deductive method and quasi-experimental design; a pre-test and post-test of the Cumanin questionnaire, a valid and reliable instrument, was applied to a sample of 450 students of the initial level. The research found differences between the levels of neuropsychological maturity in pre-school children before and after the application of the program. In this sense, it should be pointed out that before the application of the program, 13.1% were at the beginning level, 72.2% were in process and 14.7% were at the achieved level; after the application of the program, 6.2% of the children were at the beginning level, 72.2% were in process and 21.6% were at the achieved level, which means that the children were at the beginning level, 72.2% were in process and 21.6% were at the achieved level. Therefore, it was concluded that the program generates a positive effect on psychomotor skills in preschool children, since highly significant differences were evidenced (z= -16.065; p<0.000).

ABSTRAKPerkembangan (development) adalah bertambahnya kemampuan atau fungsi semua sistem organ tubuh sebagai akibat bertambahnya kematangan atau maturitas fungsi sistem organ tubuh (Dewi, 2013). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas pemberian origami dan playdough terhadap perkembangan pada anak prasekolah kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal tahun 2018.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pre eksperiment dengan pendekatan pre-test and post-test Design. Populasi yang diteliti adalah seluruh anak kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal berjumlah 56 anak dengan teknik purposive sampling diperoleh sampel 36 responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar KPSP. Hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan wilcoxon signed rank.Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa perkembangan anak sebelum pelaksanaan pemberian Origami didapatkan setengahnya perkembangan anak meragukan, setelah pelaksanaan didapatkan hampir seluruhnya perkembangan anak sesuai. Perkembangan anak sebelum pelaksanaan pemberian Playdough didapatkan sebagian besar perkembangan anak meragukan, setelah pelaksanaan didapatkan sebagian besar perkembangan anak sesuai. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada pengaruh pemberian permainan origami dan permainan Playdough terhadap perkembangan anak kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Tahun 2018 dengan hasil ρ-value = 0,001 ɑ = 0,05 dari kelompok origami dan ρ-value = 0,007 ɑ = 0,05 dari kelompok playdough, sedangkan hasil analisis perbedaan adanya perbedaan efektivitas pengaruh pemberian permainan origami dan playdough terhadap perkembangan anak pada kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Tahun 2018 dengan hasil ρ-value = 0,043 ɑ = 0,05.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh permainan origami dan playdough terhadap perkembangan anak pada kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Tahun 2018. Diharapkan kepada orang tua maupun guru untuk lebih meningkatkan frekuensi dalam memberi stimulus permainan terutama permainan origami yang diberikan kepada anak. Kata Kunci : Perkembangan , Anak Prasekolah,  Origami, Playdough ABSTRACTDevelopment is increasing ability or function of all organ systems of the body as a result of increasing maturity or maturity function of the organ system of the body (Dewi, 2013). The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness difference of origami and playdough on development in preschoolers group A in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten in 2018.The research design used is research pre eksperiment with approach pre-test dan post-test. The population studied was all group A children in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal amounted to 56 children with purposive sampling technique obtained sample 36 respondents. The research instrument used is KPSP sheet. The results were then analyzed by using wilcoxon signed rank.The results of the research show that the development of children before the implementation of giving Origami found half of child development doubt, after the implementation is obtained almost entirely the child's development accordingly. Child development prior to the implementation of Playdough gift obtained most of the development of children doubt, after the implementation is obtained most of the child's development accordingly.  The results of the analysis show that there is an effect of giving origami game and Playdough game to the child development group A in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten Year 2018 with the result ρ-value = 0.001 ɑ = 0.05 from the origami group and ρ-value = 0.007 ɑ = 0.05 of the playdough group, while the result of difference analysis that is difference between origami and playdough influence to children development in group A diiyah Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Year 2018 with result of ρ-value = 0,043 ɑ = 0,05.Based on the research results can be concluded there is influence of origami and playdough on the development of children in group A in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten Year 2018.  Pre-school education period is the foundation for children development. Teachers must reinforce students’ knowledge in this stage since all the contents covered will impact throughout their lives. Due to its educational value and influence on the different aspects of children development, music should be regarded as an essential resource in these early learning stages. In this regard, this work aims to analyze if the activities including music, hearing, and sound have a positive influence on the unfolding of literacy skills on five-year-old children. To accomplish such objectives, qualitative, quantitative, and triangulation methodologies have been used by taking the content analysis from the literature review related to the topic of this investigation and then after, by using the experimental design technique (pre-test/experiment/post-test) with two design types (experimental and controlled class) from the research-action paradigm. Considering the results of this research, it can be asserted that audio-musical activities significantly influence reading and writing skills acquisition without noteworthy differences between boys and girls.

Pendidikan kesehatan merupakan cara penyampaian informasi kesehatan yang mudah diterima oleh ibu hamil dengan berbagai media yang digunakan. Masalah emosional yang terjadi pada kehamilan trimester III adalah perasaan cemas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan metode cemarah dan leaflet terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III. Penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan pre-test dan post-test group sebanyak 48 responden dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur skala kecemasan Taylor Manifest Anxiety  Scale (TMAS). Analisis data menggunakan Paired T test dan Independen T test. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan leaflet dengan nilai p =0,000. Pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan pada ibu hamil saat melakukan pelayanan antenatal terbukti mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil terhadap kehamilannya. Leaflet sangat efektif untuk menyampaikan pesan singkat dan padat media ini juga mudah dibawa dan disebarluaskan karena ukurannya lebih ringkas dan jumlah yang dibawa lebih banyak dari pada poster.

Urine incontinence is the loss of bladder control, or leaking urine. The current study aimed at providing a physiotherapy intervention such as adding neuromuscular taping to Kegel exercises for increasing the pelvic floor muscles. The study was conducted at the Wredha Khusnul Khotimah house in Pekanbaru. The study is an experimental research with a randomized pre- and post-test group design, and made a comparison between the two groups. The study compared the RUIS (Revised Urinary Incontinence Scale) scale value before and after the intervention. The study sample comprised of 20 middle-aged people with urine incontinence condition who were recommended neuromuscular taping in addition to their Kegel exercises for six weeks. Mann Whitney test found p-value < 0.05, so it could be concluded that there was a difference between the RUIS value before and after the intervention in both groups. The addition of neuromuscular taping to Kegel exercises is more effective than Kegel exercise alone for urine incontinence condition in middle-aged individuals. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran 5E terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik kemampuan literasi sains berdasarkan kategori daya nalar siswa yaitu nominal, fungsional, konseptual/prosedural dan multidimensional. Penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu dengan pola Pre-Test dan Post-Test Group Design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Kuripan tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel kelas dipilih dengan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan kelas IX-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX-B sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan sampel berjumlah 50 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan literasi sains berupa soal uraian. Data kemampuan literasi sains dianalisis secara kualitatif dan dikatagorikan menjadi 4 yaitu katagori nominal, fungsional, konseptual/prosedural dan multidiminsional. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran 5E terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik berada pada 4 kategori  yaitu katagori nominal sebanyak  7,6%, fungsional sebanyak 26,9,  konceptual/prosedural sebanyak 53,8%  dan  multidiminsional  sebanyak 11,5% sedangkan pada kelas yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran 5E terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik berada pada 2  kategori yaitu katagori nominal sebanyak 70,8% dan katagori fungsional sebanyak 29,1%..Kata-kata Kunci: 5E, pendekatan saintifik, kemampuan literasi sains Abstract: The aim of this research is to know the effect of the 5E teaching model integrated scientific approach towards ability of science literacy based on category of nominal, functional, conceptual/procedural and multidimensional. This research is classified as quasi-experimental, with Pre-Test dan Post-Test Group Design. The population of this research were all the nine grade students of junior high school 1 Kuripan academic year 2016/2017. The class sample was taken by using purposive sampling in which IX-A became the experimental class and IX-B became the control class, with number of sample 50 students. The instruments that is used the data was ability of literacy science in form of essay. The date ability of literacy science was analyzed by using kualitative and  was category became 4 on on category of nominal, functional, conceptual/procedural and multidimensional. The result of research  showed the ability of literacy scince data showed that percentage of student implemetation  the 5E teaching model integrated scientific approach in the nominal 0f 7,6%, fungsional of 26,9%,  konceptual/prosedural of 53,8%  dan  multidiminsional  of ,5%, while the class not implemetation  the 5E teaching model integrated scientific approach in the nominal  category of 70,8% dan fungsional catagory of 29,1%.Keywords: 5E, scientific approach, ability of science literacy

PENGARUH AKTIFITAS FISIK AEROBIK SESAAT TERHADAP KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PUASA PADA MAHASISWA ILMU KEOLAHRAGAAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN   Novita Sari Harahap1   1Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Medan.     Abstrak.Aktifitas fisik memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengendalikan kadar gula dalam darah, dimana saat melakukan aktifitas fisik terjadi peningkatan pemakaian glukosa oleh otot yang aktif sehingga secara langsung dapat menyebabkan penurunan glukosa darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh aktifitas aerobik sesaat  terhadap kadar glukosa darah puasa. Penelitian ini merupakan Kuasi-eksperimental dengan rancangan pre-post-test group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 10 orang diambil dengan menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling.  Kadar glukosa darah diukur sebelum dan setelah aktifitas fisik aerobik. Analisis data menggunakan uji t- berpasangan untuk mengetahui perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah aktifitas fisik aerobik sesaat terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah puasa (82,5±11,58 vs 70,0±7,05; p=0,023). Kesimpulannya yaitu aktivitas fisik aerobik memiliki pengaruh terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah puasa. Kata Kunci : Aktifitas fisik aerobik, Glukosa darah

Culture and context are important for children's development, affecting, inter alia, resilience. The main aim of our research was to find out if resilience among schoolaged children aged 10-12 differs between three countries – Croatia, Sweden and Portugal. The participants were 750 pupils from Croatian, Swedish and Portuguese schools, 54.5% boys and 45.5% girls. The instrument used was the Child and Youth Resilience Measure-28 (CYRM-28). Descriptive statistics were computed, and one-way between- -groups ANOVAs were performed. The CYRM total score, as well as the item scores, were high. Both differences and similarities between the three countries were found. Sweden and Portugal share the highest number of non-significant comparisons, followed by Croatia and Sweden. Croatia and Portugal have the least between-pair similarities. The results are discussed in the context of countries' needs for education for resilience and application of the resilience curriculum (RESCUR).

Background: Communication in the intensive care setting (ICS) is critical for both the patient and the medical staff to provide efficient care and thus alleviate possible patient adverse effects. Persons with complex communication needs are particularly vulnerable in ICSs and therefore require additional communication support.Aim: This study focused on the perspectives of nurses about communication with patients with communication needs in ICSs using paper-based communication boards, namely the translated Vidatak EZ Board, before and after a training session.Setting: A 1650-bed public hospital with a 26-bed ICS in a semi-urban, low socio-economic area in South Africa served as the research setting.Methods: A quasi-experimental pre-test post-test group design with withdrawal and a control group was used. Data were gathered using a custom-designed questionnaire completed by ICS nurse participants recruited from a public hospital.Results: Responses of some nurses did not change in post-test 1, but their responses did change in post-test 2. Some of the nurses’ perspectives changed, as expected from the pre-test to post-test 1. Nurses recommended specific adaptations to the communication board.Conclusions: Most nurses agreed that communication is crucial in ICSs and that a communication board can be implemented; however, limited success was observed implementing the board following a short training. The inter-professional collaboration between nurses and speech-language therapists to provide optimal health care to patients in ICS is emphasised.

Industrial activities developed from households to large-scale industries, including the development of industries in the field of canning fish. Worker health is one of the important things in a company, can be achieved by choosing the right work method. This study was conducted to determine whether ergonomic oriented working methods in the process of wiping canned sardines can reduce musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue in workers. The study design was two period cross over pre and post-test group desig). The research was conducted at PT. BMP Negara. It was held in December 2016. Total sample were 18 workers who wiping cans of sardines. The difference in conditions between before and after activities using ergonomic un-oriented working methods and ergonomic oriented working methods are compared and tested statistically. Comparison tests were carried out on scores of musculoskeletal complaints and worker fatigue. The results showed that ergonomic oriented working methods decreased of musculoskeletal complaints 17.82% (p<0.05) and fatigue score of 11.86% (p<0.05). The conclusion of this study is that ergonomic oriented working methods in the process of wiping sardine cans reduce musculoskeletal complaints and work fatigue of workers in PT. BMP Negara.
