This research deals with the morphosyntax of Tonsea Language verb. The analysis of morphosyntax verb in Tonsea Language is based on the theory developed by Nida (1970) who described that the study of morphosyntax is a structural analysis in which one cannot treat the morphology without at the same time analyzing the syntax. The contact point of these two areas lies in the analysis of inflectional affixation of verbs in sentence structure. It is a qualitative research applying structural linguistic method. The result indicates that the inflectional affixation of verbs in Tonsea Language shows the category of tense, aspect, mood, and voice.Keywords: morphosyntax, inflectional affixes

The background of this research is because of the reality in the field, that the Friday sermon delivered by the khatib has yet to have a good appeal in the sermon. The purpose of this study First is to know how the style of the khatib in the delivery of the Friday sermon, Secondly, to know how the choice of the word of the khatib in the delivery of the Friday sermon, Third, to know how the tone of the khatib in the delivery of Friday sermon, and Fourth, to learn how the sentence structure of the khatib in the delivery of the sermon of Friday. This study uses a qualitative research methodology with observation data collection techniques, and interviews. This study found that the application of rhetoric by the Friday khutib in the sermon had not fully progressed as most khatib had not yet understood rhetoric. This is evident from the diction applied by the khatib not in accordance with the condition of the congregation, the application of repetition of the word does not conform to the rules of repetition. And there's also a lot of words. The relationship between sentence one with another sentence still does not use the correct word. And the emphasis on what matters is still not seen. The intonation conveyed by the khatib has not produced the appropriate variation, then the presentation is still monotonous and creates the jema'ah friday.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui representasi kearifan lokal masyarakat Bangka melalui cerita rakyat Bandar Akek Antak. Pendekatan peneltian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deangan menggunakan kajian struktural. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif karena data yang dikumpulkan berbentuk kata atau gambar. Data dalam penelitian kualitatif berupa teks cerita rakyat Bandar Akek Antak. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan agar dapat mengungkap kearifan lokal masyarakat Bangka yang tersurat maupun tersirat dari cerita rakyat Bandar Akek Antak. Hasil analisis meliputi dua tingkat yakni analisis struktural cerita rakyat dan analisis representasi kearifan lokal. Terdapat struktur plot, sudut pandang, latar, serta penokohan. Representasi kearifan lokal masyarakat Bangka dalam cerita Bandar Akek Antak digambarkan dengan sikap pekerja keras dalam berkebun, melakukan musyawarah mufakat dalam menyelesaikan masalah melalui karakter tokoh Antak sebagai tokoh utama dan karakter tokoh lainnya. Nilai pendidikan karakter terdapat dalam cerita Bandar Akek Antak yakni karakter religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, serta tanggung jawab.Kata kunci: kearifan lokal, cerita rakyat, struktural AbstractThe research objective is to study the representation of local wisdom of the Bangkanese people through the folklore of Bandar Akek Antak. The research assessment used is a qualitative review using structural structure studies. This study describes descriptive, presented thus because the data collected in the form of words or images. The data in this qualitative research are in the form of Bandar Akek Antak folklore text. Qualitative guidelines are used with the aim of expressing the local wisdom of the Bangka people expressed or implied by the Bandar Akek Antak folklore with structural studies. The results of the analysis include two levels of analysis namely structural analysis of folklore and analysis of representation of local wisdom. There is a plot structure, point of view, setting, and characterization. Representation of local wisdom of the Bangka people in the Bandar Akek Antakutih story with the attitude of hard workers in gardening, holding consensus in solving problems through Antak's character as the main character and other characters. The value of character education contained in the Bandar Akek Antak story is religious, honest, disciplined, hard working, creative, independent, and responsible.Keywords: local wisdom, folklore, structural

Abstract: This research paper aims to describe the intrinsic elements in “Aṭfāl al-Gābah”, a story for kids written by Muhammad ‘Athiyyah al-Ibrasyi (2013). The story is analyzed using Robert Stanton’s structural theory, which includes (1) theme, (2) story facts, (3) literary devices, and (4) relationship between intrinsic elements. This descriptive qualitative research focuses on the three main elements contained in “Aṭfāl al-Gābah”. The data was collected by means of documentation. The findings indicate that (1) the major theme in the story is affection and the minor themes are jealousy and patience. (2) The analysis of the story facts shows that (a) the story flows chronologically; (b) with the King, Queens, and the aunt being the main characters, while the angels, the deer, and the bird being the supporting characters; (c) it also shows that the story took place in various settings such as the palace, the garden and the mountain peak. (3) The analysis of the literary devices reveals that (a) the story is told from a third-person point of view and (b) uses hyperbole and personification. (4) All of these intrinsic elements are related to one another. Uraian pembahasan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah unsur intrinsik dalam cerita anak tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan peneliti dan tabel sebagai instrumennya dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tema mayor dalam cerita adalah kasih sayang, sedangkan tema minor berupa kecemburuan dan kesabaran. (2) Fakta cerita menunjukkan: (a) cerita menggunakan alur maju; (b) tokoh utama adalah Raja, Pangeran I, Pangeran II, Puteri, dan Bibi, sedangkan tokoh tambahannya adalah tiga Bidadari, Rusa, dua Petapa, dan Burung; (c) latar tempat berada di istana, taman istana, hutan, rumah, gubuk Petapa, puncak gunung, dan kebun indah, latar waktunya pagi, siang, sore, dan malam hari, latar sosialnya adalah status sosial kelas tinggi yang dimiliki semua tokoh utamanya, (3) Sarana cerita menunjukkan: (a) sudut pandang cerita menggunakan persona orang ketiga, serta (b) gaya bahasa dalam cerita meliputi hiperbola dan personifikasi. Multilayering hardrock/heavymetal music in „Only Rock” resources This article is composed of two parts. The first discusses the role of metal hardrock music (broadly understood) in the structure of the most opinion-making music magazine after 1989, ie „Only Rock”, and in the second study focused on analyzing the content of the monthly magazine in terms of title genres, but in the optics of genology. The text uses existing statistical data, studies and, of course, source materials. Methodologically and substantively – in a narrower sense, the publication encompasses two new streams: Metal Music Studies (humanistic) and Journalism and Music Media (social sciences, media studies), and in broader terms quantitative and qualitative research (including structural analysis). The research showed that metal music was a constitutive aspect of the subject matter in a strictly formal rock writing, and even some of the leading elements.

This research is aimed to find the language style used to represent how the figure of parking attendants in the Petition of “Malang Darurat Parkir” and show why those language styles are used by the writer of petition. Petition “Malang Darurat Parkir” is available in petisionline.net and becomes top three petitions on that webpage. This research is qualitative research by using model of critical discourse analysis by Van Dijk (2008) that has three aspects: text analysis, social cognition, and social context. The results reveal that the types of language style based on theory of Keraf (2006) used are diction, sentence structure, and direct and indirect meaning and all of those dominated by bad representation or negative connotation called marginalization. This language style used because Helmy can be inferred if he lives or ever stayed in Malang city and the confition of social or people around him also use that kind of words or connotation.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan gaya bahasa yang digunakan untuk merepresentasikan bagaimana tukang parkir dalam petisi “Malang Darurat Parkir” dan menunjukkan mengapa gaya bahasa tersebut digunakan oleh penulis petisi. Petisi “Malang Darurat Parkir” tersedia di laman petisionline.net dan masuk dalam deretan tiga teratas di laman tersebut. Penilitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan model analisis wacana kritis oleh Van Dijk (2008) yang memiliki tiga aspek yaitu analisa teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tipe gaya bahasa berdasarkan teori Keraf (2006) yang digunakan adalah diksi, struktur kalimat, dan langsung tidaknya makna dan didominasi dengan representasi buruk atau konotasi negatif, yang disebut juga marginalisasi. Gaya bahasa tersebut digunakan karena dapat diduga Helmy tinggal atau pernah tinggal di Malang, dan kondisi sosial atau orang-orang disekitarnya juga menggunakan jenis kata atau konotasi tersebut.

Anoman Cakil dance was created in 1986 at the request of the ASKI Dance Department. External factors are a major factor in the creation of Anoman Cakil dance which is supported by internal factors. This thesis, titled Anoman Cakil dance, composed by Didik Bambang Wahyudi, focuses on the study of dance work and the structural analysis of Anoman Cakil dance. Issues to be explained in this study are (1) How  to work on  Anoman  Cakil dance  by Didik Bambang  Wahyudi  (2) How  to present the structure of Anoman Cakil dance.This research uses qualitative research methods, data obtained through literature study, interviews and observations. The results of data processing are then presented descriptively. To answer this problem, this study uses the concept of cultivation as a knife for analysis, namely the  concept of cultivation  by Rahayu Supanggah. The structural analysis of Sumandiyo Hadi was used as a theory to examine the structural problem of Anoman Cakil's dance presentation. The elements of cultivation work in the form of material work on, work on, working on facilities, working on furniture and determinant work on. Application of cultivation in dance in the form of the background of the creation of dance, Didik Bambang wahyudi as cultivators and Anoman cakil dance as material and means of working on.Anoman Cakil dance including wireng pethilan dance with stories originating from the Ramayana Epic, presented by two dancers in pairs, with figures Anoman and Cakil. And, victory on the Cakil figure. Anoman Cakil dance consists of three parts in the form of Forward Beksan Structure, the Beksan section which consists of the  then  spread  hand  arm  and  keris  shell.  Beksan  retreat  is  the  last  part  of  the Anoman Cakil dance presentation structure. The aim of the research is to find the error of using inflectional affixes in students’ argumentative writing of the fifth semester of English Department of IAIN Metro. This research is descriptive-qualitative research. This descriptive-qualitative research use two sources, primary and secondary data, the primary data is achieved through the argumentative writing text from the fifth students semester of IAIN Metro. Then the secondary data is collected from archival. This research applies Creswell model to analyze the data.  The findings research shows there are 9 argumentative writing result, they have eight errors in using {–s}, 2 errors in using {–es}, 1 error in using {–ies}, 13 errors in using {–ed}, 3 errors in using {–ing}, and there is no error in using {–er} and{–est}. Based on the data, the first error that commonly found in students’ writing production is the use of {–ed}, and the second one is the use of {–s}, and the third one is the use of {–es}. Most of the fifth semester students of the English Department of IAIN Metro have lack of knowledge about inflectional affixes and there are many students who feel difficult in deciding which one is the correct affix for the word they want. It means there are many students of the fifth semester of English Department of IAIN Metro that still can not use the inflectional affixes correctly. The conclusion of the research is the student of the fifth semester of English Department of IAIN Metro need attention to focus on writing argumentative learning and semantic specially ‘inflection affixes’.

AbstractDiction, Language Style and Sound Games on Lyrics of Melayu Songs. This study aims to determinethe aesthetic value in the lyrics of melayu songs sung by Ahmad Jais. This research is directed towardsthe lyrics of melayu songs which are more prominent in terms of diction, language style and soundgames that are used specifically to create certain effects, especially aesthetic effects.This research is adescriptive qualitative research using content analysis method. The researchers took as many as 10 lyricsof melayu songs sung by Ahmad Jais.The results showed that the dictions or choice of words in the lyricsof melayu songs sung by Ahmad Jais use both connotative and denotative meanings. There are 160diction which meanings are divided into two; 80 data with connotative meanings and 80 data withdenotative meanings. This choice of words helps the author to convey the message he wants to deliver andto add the beauty of the songs’ lyrics. The most widely used language style based on the choice of wordsis the unofficial language style found as many as 8 data. The most widely used language style accordingto the tone contained in the discourse is the powerful noble language as many as 5 data. The most widelyused in language style according to mostly used sentence structure is the climax, as many as 7 data.The most widely used language style according to the direct or indirect meaning is the style of rhetoricallanguage, as many as 10 data. From the document analysis of the lyrics of melayu songs from soundelements, it can be seen that there are 174 data from taxation elements consisting of 34 alliteration data,134 assonance data and 6 data of the combination of alliteration and assonance. From the element ofrhythm, there are 10 kinds of euphony. From the elements of the tone and the atmosphere, which are 2data of sad atmosphere, 2 data of joyful atmosphere, and 6 data of powerless atmosphere.Key words: diction, language style and sound gamesAbstrakDiksi, Gaya Bahasa dan Permainan Bunyi pada Lirik Lagu-Lagu Melayu. Penelitian ini diarahkan terhadap lirik dalam lagu-lagu melayu yang lebih menonjoldari segi diksi, gaya bahasa dan permainan bunyi yang digunakan secara khusus untuk menimbulkanefek tertentu, khususnya efek estetis.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif denganmenggunakan metode analisis isi. Peneliti mengambil data sebanyak 10 lirik lagu-lagu melayu yangdibawakan oleh Ahmad Jais. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diksi atau pilihan kata dalam liriklagu-lagu melayu yang dibawakan oleh Ahmad Jais menggunakan makna konotatif dan juga makna205denotatif. Ada 160 data terdapat diksi, yang bermakna konotatif 80 data dan diksi yang bermaknadenotatif 80 data. Pilihan kata ini membantu penulis untuk menyampaikan pesan yang ingindisampaikannya dan menambah keindahan lirik lagunya. Gaya bahasa menurut pilihan kata yangpaling banyak digunakan adalah gaya bahasa tidak resmi sebanyak 8 data. Gaya bahasa menurut nadayang terkandung dalam wacana yang paling banyak digunakan adalah gaya bahasa mulia bertenagasebanyak 5 data. Gaya bahasa menurut struktur kalimat yang paling banyak digunakan adalah klimakssebanyak 7 data. Gaya bahasa menurut langsung tidaknya makna yang paling banyak digunakanadalah gaya bahasa retoris sebanyak 10 data. Dari analisis dokumen lirik lagu-lagu melayu dari unsurbunyi dapat diketahui ada 174 data dari unsur persajakan yang terdiri dari 34 data aliterasi dan 134data asonansi serta 6 data kombinasi aliterasi dan asonansi. Dari unsur irama ada 10 jenis efoni. Dariunsur nada dan suasana, yaitu suasana sedih ada 2 data, suasana gembira ada 2 data, dan suasana takberdaya ada 6 data.Kata-kata kunci: diksi, gaya bahasa, permainan bunyi

This research is focused on the content of religious moderation in Walisongo Material in The Textbook of History and Culture of Islam Class VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ministry of Religious Affairs 2016. This research is motivated by the appeal of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia that madrasa educational institutions should cover the concept of religious moderation in the textbooks, in this case the History and Culture of Islam. The research method used is qualitative research. The type of this research is library research, more precisely the analysis of textbooks. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Each sub-lesson material of walisongo in the textbook contains indicators of religious moderation (national commitment, tolerance, non-violence, accommodative to local culture), except for Sunan Bonang sub-lessons which do not contain indicators of national commitment and Sunan Giri sub-lessons which do not contain indicators of tolerance. Indicators of religious moderation in Walisongo material can be known with two events. First, directly from the sentence that shows the indicator word itself. Second, the sentence structure of the material is in accordance with the indicator definition. (2) The excess content of religious moderation in walisongo material in the book is that there are indicators of religious moderation contained in the sentence directly and according to the definition of each indicator, and there are illustrations both in the form of pictures and writings, from the real form of religious moderation even though not all of them exist.

Study has objectives, (1) describe the mistakes in the language in the field of syntax in the essay writing of foreign students in the regular class, and (2) describe the analysis of the mistakes in the language in the field of syntax in the essay writing of foreign students in the regular class in Bina Darma University. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study iswriting of foreign students in the regular class in UBD. The data is a form of language errors in the essay writting. Analyzed using a unified method and agih. Results can be divided into nine aspects, there are (1) sentence structure not standard, (2) sentence is ambiguous, (3) sentence is unclear, (4) diction is not appropriate in forming sentences, (5) contamination sentence, (6) coherence, (7) word redundant, (8) the word uptake used in a sentence, and (9) logic sentence.
