Purpose: This activity aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of participants in improving the quality of salak seed powder drink products and increasing their marketing. This training is aimed at villagers who drive the salak seed powder business, namely the Dusun 5 Women Farmers Group (KWT), Sungai Langka Village, Gedong Tataan District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. Method: The service methods were carried out through surveys, training and mentoring and evaluation. Results: To increase its marketing, FEB Unila's staff have created more attractive product labels that attract more products to sell; besides, they also buy better sealer machines to improve the quality of product packaging. Conclusion: Product quality, production and sales and marketing of salak seed powder must be improved as a solution to the problem so that the villagers' economy will improve.

The availability of breadfruit is abundant in the village of Meteseh in RW. X Tembalang District, Semarang City. BAROKAH farmers group develops breadfruit chip business. This group of farmers utilizes the abundantly available breadfruit fruit in the Meteseh area to make breadfruit chips. BAROKAH has problems in terms of limited equipment to support product manufacturing, and limited knowledge and skills in the processing and diversification of breadfruit preparations. The purpose of this activity is to develop a business through diversification of BAROKAH breadfruit processed products so that this business and all the people involved are able to become economically independent communities. It also improved product quality, creative and innovative skills, skills in using appropriate technology in the cutting, draining, and packaging of breadfruit processed products. The method used is to improve product quality, creative and innovative skills through the use of appropriate technology in the cutting, draining, and packaging of processed breadfruit products. In addition, diversification of breadfruit processed products was also developed. The results show that the application of appropriate technology has been able to increase the capacity of chopping, and the durability of processed products from breadfruit. In addition, the quality of processed breadfruit products has increased.

Sejak tahun 2016, Universitas Brawijaya memperoleh mandat dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan untuk mengelola hutan seluas 544 ha di lereng Gunung Arjuno menjadi hutan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan, yang diberi nama UB Forest. Di dalam UB forest terdapat petani penggarap yang menanam kopi dibawah tegakan pinus. Setiap tahun, produksi kopi di UB Forest mencapai 600 kg ha-1, dengan potensi limbah sisa panen kulit kopi antara 50–60%. Limbah sisa panen kulit kopi tersebut hanya ditumpuk saja dan berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok tani hutan UB Forest di dalam mengolah sisa panen kulit kopi menjadi pupuk kompos dan pupuk organik granul (POG). Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: 1) Penyuluhan; 2) Pembuatan rumah produksi kompos; 3) Introduksi mesin granulator; 4) Pelatihan pembuatan kompos dan POG; 5) Pengemasan produk, dan 6) analisa kualitas kompos dari kulit kopi. Hasil kegiatan meliputi 1) tersedianya rumah produksi pupuk organik granul beserta alat pembuat pupuk organik granule (granulator); 2) 85% dari petani hutan peserta penyuluhan dan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan di dalam mengolah sisa panen kulit kopi menjadi kompos dan pupuk organik granul; 3) kelompok tani hutan memiliki modul dan SOP pembuatan kompos dan pupuk organik granul.[Since 2016, Brawijaya University received a mandate from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry to manage 544 hectares (ha) of forest, located in the slopes of Mount Arjuno, as a forest for Education and Training, which is named UB Forest. In UB forest, there are forest farmer who planted coffee under the pine trees. Every year, coffee production in UB Forest reaches 600 kg ha-1, with 50-60% of them is coffee peel. The waste of the remaining coffee peel is only stacked and potentially cause pollution. This activity is aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of forest farmer groups (UB Forest) in processing the remaining coffee peel into compost and granular organic fertilizer (POG). The activities included: 1) Counseling; 2) Creating compost production houses; 3) Introducing of granulator machines; 4) Training in composting and POG; 5) Product packaging, and 6) analysis of the quality of compost. The results of the activities included: 1) the availability of houses for the production of compost and POG along with the tools for processing granule organic fertilizers (granulators); 2) 85% of forest farmers participating in counseling and training experience increased knowledge and skills in processing the remaining coffee peel into compost and granule organic fertilizer; 3) forest farmer groups have modules and SOPs for composting and granule organic fertilizer.]

Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) in the face of competition have obstacles that are the ability of designing the brand and good packaging. The Directorate General of IKMA provides support for industry players, especially SMIs, to improve the quality of their product packaging through the Brand Design and Packaging Assistance Program for small and medium industries. The purpose of this study is to describe how the program can run in Magelang City, with the limitation of the problems, that are: (1) Procedures for submitting and distributing packages and Brand Design assistance programs as a form of implementing program distribution; and (2) Sustainability after channeling the program in achieving its objectives, specifically improving product quality. The results of this study are from the 24 SMIs, 88% have used a new packaging design and 67% have experienced market expansion. On the other hand, 13% have not used a new design and 33% have not yet experienced market expansion. Through recognition from SMIs who were fortunate to get assistance in the form of physical packaging namely Cheese Stick products with the RAKEDAM Brand, the physical packaging received through the program has characteristics that are able to improve the quality of product.

The aim of this study are 1) To find out the attributes that are considered important by consumers in order to achieve the consumer satisfaction of Bali Bakery 2) To determine the level of consumer’s satisfaction on the products and services provided by Bali Bakery 3) To determine the attributes that considered to get priority in Bali Bakery, based on the level of suitability between interests and performance to provide the satisfaction to the consumers. The data of this study was obtained by distributing 187 questionnaires to the consumers of Bali Bakery Hayam Wuruk Denpasar branch. The Importance Performance Analysis method was used to determine the level of consumer satisfaction related to product quality and service quality performed by the company. The results of the study indicate that consumers were satisfied toward the quality of the product and the quality of services provided by the company. The level of consumer satisfaction toward the product quality was 80,34% and toward the service quality was 81.27%. The attributes that need to be prioritized were all of variables in quadrant A, namely affordable product prices, product packaging that was able to keep the product from being damaged to its destination, the availability of adequate parking space, employees of Bali Bakery providing the same service regardless of social status, and the Bali Bakery restaurant established the opening hours in accordance to the needs of consumers. Perkembangan dunia perbankan syariah tidak lepas dari peran para nasabah yang memberikan kepercayaan terhadap pihak perbankan untuk penyimpanan asset keuangannya. Faktanya banyak kelompok nasabah yang memutuskan untuk menjadi nasabah di perbankan syariah karena faktor religiusitasnya. Faktor lain yang dapat ikut mempengaruhi keputusan nasabah adalah kualitas produk. Di mana kualitas produk merupakan karakteristik yang melekat dari suatu produk. Kemungkinan yang terjadi bahwa kebanyakan nasabah pada perbankan syariah juga masih merupakan nasabah perbankan konvensional.Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk dan tingkat religiusitas nasabah terhadap keputusan nasabah untuk menyimpan dananya atau tidak di BSM Cabang Purwokerto. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, dengan jumlah sampel 100 nasabah. Diperoleh hasil Y = 5,046 + 0,101X1 + 0,218X2. Berdasarkan uji F yang sudah dilakukan maka dapat diketahui bahwa variabel kualitas produk dan religiusitas secara bersama – sama berpengaruh terhadap keputusan nasabah untuk menyimpan dananya di BSM Cabang Purwokerto. Berdasarkan uji t yang sudah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa secara partial baik variabel kualitas produk maupun variabel religiusitas berpengaruh terhadap keputusan nasabah untuk menyimpan dananya di BSM Cabang Purwokerto. The progress of the Islamic bank cannot be separated from the role of its customers who give trust to the bank to deposit their financial assets. It is a fact many groups of customers decide to be the customers of the Islamic bank because of their religiosity. The other influences factor of a customer’s decision is the quality of the product. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of product quality and level of customers’ religiosity towards customers’ decision whether to keep their funds in Syariah Mandiri Bank, Branch of Purwokerto, or not. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression analysis, with a sample of 100 customers. The results indicate Y = 5,046 + 0,101X1 + 0,218X2. Based on F, it can be seen that both variables of product quality and religiosity simultanously affect the customers’ decision to keep theirfunds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto. Based on t test, it can be seen that independently, either variable of product quality or variables of religiosityinfluences the customers’ decision to keep their funds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto.

In the era of globalization, the competition in the business world becomes very tight. Companies vying to be able to continue to compete and survive in the business world. Each consumer must have had the expectation that the products they buy are able to provide satisfaction for them to be making purchasing decisions. Consumer purchasing decisions of companies to seeds virtual brand still low due to the brand image and quality of seeds that are still unsatisfactory.This study aims to determine the responses of respondents regarding brand image, product quality, purchasing decisions and how big an impact on the brand image itself against purchase decisions on the PT. Prabu Argo Mandiri Bandung and how much influence the quality of products on the purchase decision.The method by which the samples is Simple Random Sampling consists of 80 respondents. The method of analysis in this research using descriptive analysis and verification which is composed of multiple linear regression analysis. Product moment correlation analysis, and the coefficient of determination used to measure the level of influence of brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions.The results based on descriptive analysis of brand image variable is in good enough category, variable quality of the product is in the unfavorable category, and the purchase decision variable is in the unfavorable category. The results based on correlation test showed that the brand image is partially significant effect on purchasing decisions by 68% and the product quality is partially significant effect on purchasing decisions by 13%. Hypothesis test results suggested that the increased purchasing decisions partially and simultaneously influence through brand image and product quality.

This research was conducted in order to test how much influence product quality, price and brand to the volume of sales at PT. Gemilang Jaya Bella bracelets Spring Bed Semarang. Independent variables include variable product quality, price and brand while the dependent variable is the volume of sales.In determining the data to be studied sampling technique used is the census. Census is a sampling technique when all members of the population used as a sample .. Respondents were selected is the consumer stores PT. Gemilang Jaya Bella bracelets Spring Bed Semarang. Thus obtained sample was 50 respondents. Data analysis methods used to perform hypothesis testing is multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of research that has been conducted on all data obtained, the importance of the research that 1). There is a positive and significant effect of the variable quality of the product (X1) to sales volume (Y). 2). There is a positive and significant impact on price variable (X2) to sales volume (Y). 3). There is a positive and significant impact on brand variables (X3) to sales volume (Y). 4). There is a positive and significant effect of the variable distribution channels (X4) to sales volume (Y)

Decision making is an individual activity that is directly involved in obtaining and using the goods offered. Promotion is one of the variables in a marketing mix that is very important to be implemented by a company in marketing its products or services, thus influencing consumers to make purchasing decisions. The quality of the product can also affect consumers in making purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and promotion on purchasing decision of Melon fruit. Population and sample of research is purchasing or buyer from consumer of PT. Syafina Niaga as many as 30 companies and sampling methods using saturated sampling techniques as well as analysis used with regression analysis. The results showed that there is a significant influence between product quality and promotion of purchasing decisions.
