Kalanganyar Village is a village in Sidoarjo Regency, Sedati District, which covers an area of 2/3 consisting of a pond, which borders the villages of Buncitan, Sawohan, Cemandi, and Tambakcemandi. Kalanganyar Village is one of the areas with socio-economic conditions that need to be improved. The source of the livelihood of the local community is very dependent on the results of fishing which is very influenced by the weather. When fishermen cannot go to sea due to extreme weather, local people do not have alternative sources of income. The problems with partners and the potential to support the Sedati sub-district as a Minapolitan area are (1) limited livelihoods of the community as fishermen, (2) The skills of the Fish Cultivation Group (Pokdakan) are still weak regarding the diversification of products made from fish as raw material, (3) There is still a lack of knowledge and practice regarding fish processing which has economic value. (4) Limited knowledge about the packaging of fish-based products (5) Lack of knowledge about marketing fish products. The method used is counseling and training, among others, the socialization of the importance of diversification of processed products made from fish, training on diversification of fish product processing technology, training on packaging of processed fish products, training on online and offline marketing management. The results achieved in implementing program activities (a). The community understands the importance of product diversification from fish so that fish has a high economic value, (b) Training on product diversification from fish is successful in making soy sauce from fish and shredded fish from milkfish, (c) Success in making soy sauce product packaging from fish and labeling jerky from milkfish , (d). Online marketing through social media and websites is still in the design process.

ABSTRAK: Potensi hasil pertanian yang ada di kecamatan Koto Balingka,Kab. Pasaman Barattelah dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitarnya dengan melakukan kegiatan pengolahan hasil pertanian menjadi produk olahan makanan ringan seperti keripik. Pada umumnya, bentuk kegiatan usaha yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat masih dalam skala rumah tangga, seperti yang dikelola oleh UKM Umak Havis dan UKM Umak Buyung. Kedua UKM ini, tepatnya berada di Jorong Lubuk Gadang, kecamatan Koto Balingka.Kedua UKM ini hanya menggunakan komoditi pisang dan ubi kayu sebagai bahan baku pembuatan keripik. Ketergantungan UKM sangat tinggi terhadap komoditi pisang dan ubi kayu. Sementara itu, keberadaan hasil hortikultura lainnya dapat menjadi bahan baku alternatif dalam mendiversifikasikan produk olahan mereka selain pisang dan ubi kayu. Proses produksi dan pengemasan produk yang dilakukan pada kedua UKM ini menunjukkan belum adanya sentuhan teknologi sehingga produk yang dihasilkan memiliki daya saing yang rendah. Melalui kegiatan PKM ini ditawarkan solusi dalam bentuk menyediakan teknologi penggorengan berupa alat vaccum frying dan spinner serta teknologi pengemasan menggunakan hand sealer. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan yang meliputi tahap pembuatan alat vaccum frying dan spinner, tahap evaluasi kinerja alat, dan tahap introduksi alat dan teknologi pengemasan kepada mitra. Kapasitas maksimum alat vacuum frying adalah 1.5 kg dengan dimensi total 470 mm x 390 mm x 940 mm (p x l x t). Sementara itu, spinner dibuat dengan ukuran 450 mm x 390 mm x 800 mm dengan daya motor penggerak 400 watt. Kegiatan introduksi berjalan dengan lancar dan mitra tertarik dan antusis. Kegiatan ini menambah pengetahuan mitra dalam mendiversifikasikan produk olahan dan proses tranfer teknologi pengemasan sehingga dapat membantu mitra dalam melakukan pengemasan produk yang lebih menarik bagi konsumen.Kata kunci: Diversifikasi Produk, Teknologi Pengemasan, Vaccum Frying, Spinner. Utilization of Vacuum Frying Technology to Support Snack Products Diversification of SME in Koto Balingka, Pasaman Barat District, West SumatraABSTRACT: Agricultural products in Koto Balingka sub-district has been used by community by processing the products into snacks such as chips. Generally, the business carried out by the community were in a household scale, such as Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Umak Havis and SME Umak Buyung. These two SMEs, located in Lubuk Gadang vilage, Koto Balingka sub-district. These SMEs only use banana and cassava as a raw material for producing the chips. The dependence of SMEs was very high on the commodity of bananas and cassava. Meanwhile, the presence of other horticultural products could be an alternative raw material in diversifying their processed products. Previously, there is no technology apllied in the production and packaging process carried out on these two SMEs. Therefore, this Community Development Activity offered a solution by providing frying technology consists of a frying and spinner vaccum device and packaging technology using hand sealer. This activity was carried out in several stages which are building the frying and spinner vaccum device, evaluation of devices performance, and introducing the device and packaging technology to partners. The maximum capacity of a vacuum frying device is 1.5 kg with a total dimension of 470 mm x 390 mm x 940 mm (p x l x t). Meanwhile, spinner dimension was 450 mm x 390 mm x 800 mm with a power of 400-watt drive motor. The introduction activities conducted smoothly, and the partners showed their interest and enthusiasm. The activity has broadened the knowledge of partners in diversifying processed products. Coconut is the most extensively grown and used nut in the world and the most important of palms. Coconuts are far more important to humanity than statistic show because millions of people in tropical regions depend upon the coconut plantation for their livelihood. Coconuts are important as a source of food and shelter, as raw material for many small industries in the manufacture of products from the coconut husks, shells, meat, leaves, stems, and tree trunk.� It is also exported in the form of fresh fruit, coir, copra, coconut oil, and desiccated coconut. Althought coconut is a very strategic commodity to develop community economy, but until now it is not been able to give prosperity for most �farmers. The are many problems are faced to increase economic value of coconut, and one of the key reasons is not many coconut farmers carry out product diversification due to lack of processing equipment. The objective of this research was to design� cylinder type of coconut grater.� The result was a prototype of mechanical coconut grater.� The application of this machine by coconut farmer will increase added value of this commodity, which means the increasing of� economic income. The resulted prototype has good performance with effective grating capacity 54.39 kg per hour and �percentage of coconut milk �7.25 %.

Keberadaan Rosella belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal padahal tanaman ini memiliki manfaat yang sangat luas dalam bidang pangan dan kesehatan melalui berbagai produk olahan (diversifikasi) karena minimnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat khususny dalam hal pengolahan. Tujuan program ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan, bimbingan, serta pendampingan dalam memanfaatkan bunga rosella menjadi berbagai produk olahan sehingga memiliki nilai ekonomis guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Balongbendo. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam program ini adalah penyuluhan, penanaman tanaman Rosella, pelatihan pembuatan produk olahan bunga rosella, pelatihan pengemasan dan pemasaran produk bunga rosella, serta pendampingan pada pameran produk olahan di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Meningkatnya pengetahuan mitra tentang manfaat, budidaya tanaman, dan diversifikasi produk olahan Rosella (2) Meningkatnya keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah bunga Rosella dengan berbagai produk, (3) Terciptanya produk-produk olahan bunga rosella yang telah dipasarkan dalam bentuk Teh Rosella, Sirup Rosella dan Es Krim Rosella (4) Meningkatnya daya saing msyarakat Desa Balongbendo se-kebupaten Sidoarjo.Kata kunci—Produk Rosella, Teh Rosella, Sirup Rosella, Es Krim Rosella Abstract The existence of Rosella has not been optimally utilized even though this plant has very broad benefits in the field of food and health through a variety of processed products (diversification) because of the lack of knowledge and skills of the community specifically in terms of processing. The purpose of this program is to provide knowledge, guidance, and assistance in utilizing roselle flowers into various processed products so that they have economic value in order to improve the welfare of the people of Balongbendo Village. The method of implementation carried out in this program are: counseling, planting Rosella plants, training in making processed Rosella flower products, training in packaging and marketing of rosella flower products, and assisting at the exhibition of processed products in Sidoarjo Regency. The Lhokseumawe City Government consists of 4 (four) sub-districts, namely Muara Dua District, Muara Satu District, Blang Mangat District and Banda Sakti District. The old Pusong Village is one of the villages located in Banda Sakti District. Gampong Pusong Lama is one of the villages located on the coast of the city of Lhokseumawe, and the average population of Gampong Pusong is whose income depends on the catch of fish. The catch of fishermen is affected by the wind. If the wind is strong then their catch is small and this has an impact on fishermen's income. Under these circumstances, fishermen can only surrender and use a small amount of their past income to meet their daily needs. Fish caught by fishermen have high nutritional and protein content. The fishermen's family members consume the caught fish every day by cooking it as a side dish. Whereas in addition to being cooked as a side dish, fish can also be processed into ready-to-eat food and can increase its economic value. They still have minimal knowledge about the technology of processing fishery products other than being cooked into side dishes. Fishermen's family members, namely fishermen's mothers, have the potential to improve the economic conditions of their families. Given these conditions, it is necessary to make an effort to improve the economy and skills with science and technology. For this reason, it is necessary to make an effort to empower fishing communities, especially women in an effort to increase the income of fishermen's families. The purpose of this Community Service Activity (PKM) is to empower the community by using science and technology to improve the skills and economic income of partners through processing marine products in the form of fish. the processing does not require modern equipment, (2) training and assistance in the manufacture of modern fishery products that are rich in nutrition. <p><em>Kelapa Dua Lake is important for the local community as a water catchment and reservoir. At certain times of the year, water hyacinth grown and spread rapidly due to the lake's high nutrient content, including nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium. These are indicators of pollution from the surrounding populated areas. Inappropriate and poorly timed countermeasures against this invasive species have had many negative effects. One countermeasure that could work, however, is harvesting the water hyacinth as a raw material for handicrafts. A joint team of lecturers, UPH service learning, students, a team from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the Indonesian local government, and local resident carried out a collaborative event to clear one section of Kelapa Lake of both water hyacinth and plastic waste. A numbers of water hyacinth were collected and then processed as a basic material for handicraft products. These handicraft products were then exhibited at an environmental education concert attended by invited guests, including representatives of the Kelapa Dua local government. This event is expected to provide new information about the processing and use of water hyacinth, highlighting its economic value and encouraging more positive activities to decrease water hyacinth and protect the environment.</em></p><p><strong>ABSTRACT (INDONESIAN):</strong> Danau Kelapa Dua merupakan danau yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat setempat sebagai tempat resapan dan tampungan air. Pertumbuhan eceng gondok di danau ini cukup cepat pada masa waktu tertentu karena adanya kemungkinan air danau yang memiliki kandungan nutrien tinggi seperti nitrogen, fosfat, dan potasium. Oleh sebab itu, invasi eceng gondok pada danau ini menjadi salah satu indikator pencemaran air dari berbagai aktivitas warga di sekitarnya. Penanggulangan yang terlambat dan kurang tepat terhadap invasi eceng gondok memberikan banyak dampak negatif. Salah satu pengontrolan invasi eceng gondok dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkannya sebagai bahan baku kerajinan tangan. Kegiatan gotong royong membersihkan eceng gondok dan sampah plastik pada salah satu area danau Kelapa Dua telah dilakukan oleh gabungan tim dosen, <em>service learning </em>UPH, mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan, tim dari Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), pemerintah dan warga setempat. Setelah kegiatan gotong royong, sejumlah eceng gondok yang dikumpulkan kemudian diolah sebagai bahan dasar produk kerajinan tangan. Berbagai produk kerajinan tangan kemudian dipamerkan pada konser musik edukasi lingkungan. Presentasi produk disaksikan oleh tamu-tamu undangan konser termasuk perwakilan pemerintah daerah Kelapa Dua. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi baru tentang pengolahan eceng gondok agar bernilai ekonomis serta melakukan kegiatan positif untuk menjaga lingkungan.</p>

Usaha Bunda is a small home industry producing several cow’s milk processed products located at Maron village, Pujon Kidul, Malang. The challenge faced by this owner is the marketing aspect to define the right marketing strategy to expand the coverage and increase competitiveness. The goal of this community dedication is to help formulating and implementing the marketing strategy for the Usaha Bunda home industry. The approach is advocation in the  form of assistance. Several strategy proposed was consignation with several gift shops and tourist attraction, redesign the product packaging, and creating an online shop. The outcome of assistance in marketing strategy implementation was the owner’s better understanding on the knowledge and skill of product packaging and online marketing. Additionally, the owner also confirmed that there has been an omzet increase of 1.5 to 2 times as the result of the new packaging. The online shop opened at Tokopedia marketplace also helps to expand the product promotion and market coverage without geographical and time limitation.

<p><strong><em>Abstract, </em></strong><em>Petungsewu Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency is one of the villages where most of the people are incensed craftsmen, but the incense produced is semi-finished incense or raw incense. The problem faced by incense craftsmen is that the selling price of semi-finished incense tends to decline from year to year, the limited bamboo raw material even has to be imported from other areas, only producing semi-finished incense (raw). The aim of the activity is to increase the value added of incense products, and increase people's income by selling incense products with brand packaging. The method of implementing the activity is to diversify the product by training and mentoring in making incense, product packaging training and quality control, online marketing training, utilizing incense making technology. As a result of community service activities, the community is able to produce fragrant incense packaged and branded and has been sold. Besides that, by utilizing incense bamboo making technology, the production capacity of incense biting production increased, the quality of the bamboo produced was more uniform, so the problem of limited incense material could be overcome.</em><em></em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: Craftsmen, Value Added, Training</em></strong><em></em></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Abstrak,</strong> Desa Petungsewu Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang adalah salah satu desa yang sebagian besar masyarakatnya adalah pengrajin dupa, tetapi dupa yang dihasilkan adalah dupa setengah jadi atau dupa mentah.  Permasalahan yang dihadapi para pengrajin dupa adalah harga jual dupa setengah jadi cenderung turun dari tahun ke tahun,  keterbatasan bahan baku biting bahkan harus didatangkan dari di daerah lain, hanya memproduksi dupa setengah jadi (mentah). Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk dupa, dan peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dengan menjual produk dupa jadi dengan kemasan merek. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah melakukan diversifikasi produk dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan membuat dupa wangi, pelatihan pengemasan produk dan quality control, dan pelatihan pemasaran online, pemanfaatan teknologi pembuatan biting dupa. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian, masyarakat mampu menghasilkan dupa wangi yang dikemas dan diberi merek dan sudah mulai dijual. Selain itu dengan pemanfaatan teknologi pembuatan biting dupa, kapasitas produksi pembuatan biting dupa meningkat, kualitas biting yang dihasilkan lebih seragam, sehingga permasalahan keterbatasan bahan biting dupa dapat diatasi.</p><p><strong>Kata</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Kunci: Dupa Wangi, Nilai Tambah, Pelatihan</strong></p>

Tempe is a favorite food of Indonesian society either from the bottom to the upper class of society. In addition to the cheap price, protein and other nutrients in tempe can meet some of the daily nutritional needs of Indonesian society. As soybean, tempe can also be processed into several foods that are tasty, nutritious and have high economic value. One of processed products using tempe as raw material  is tempe chips. Given the increasing prices of basic needs that exist today, many people do small and medium enterprises to meet the basic needs. One of them is by doing tempe chips business. Nowadays, a lot of small business community found selling tempe chips, one of which is in the Siliragung, Banyuwangi. Because the taste is tasty and crunchy, tempe chips are much preferred. In designing the machine, partners and students of Mechanical Engineering Program are involved. The initial phase of this devotional activity is to conduct a survey in order to identify problems faced by partners and conduct a literature study to find solutions to partner problems. After the solution of partner problems obtained, the next step is to design the required machine that is tempe slicing machine. The machine to be made is expected to help the community in increasing the productivity / production capacity of tempe chips compared with manual or traditional process so that the production time can be shortened and the income of the society increases. Kecamatan Simpang Alahan Mati merupakan salah datu dari 12 Kecamatan yang ada di Kab. Pasaman, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Usaha pertanian yang ada di Kecamatan Simpang Alahan Mati adalah pertanian jagung. Kabupaten Pasaman ditetapkan sebagai sentra tanaman jagung, produktifitas tanaman jagung setiap tahunnya semakin meningkat. Hasil panen jagung kebanyakan dijual oleh petani dalam kondisi basah tanpa melalui proses pengeringan meskipun harga jagung kering jauh lebih mahal dari pada jagung basah. Hal ini karena pengeringan jagung dilakukan hanya mengandalkan sinar matahari secara langsung sehingga akan menjadi kendala apabila musim hujan. Oleh karena itu introduksi atau pengenalan penggunaan mesin pengering melalui penyuluhan sangat diperlukan oleh petani. Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas pertanian yang bersifat perishable atau mudah rusak baik karena kerusakan fisik maupun kontaminasi jamur. Selama ini, petani jagung belum mengolah jagung sebagai aneka produk olahan yang memberikan nilai tambah secara ekonomis. Pemanfaatan jagung diharapkan meningkat tidak hanya dijual sebagai bahan baku saja, tetapi dapat diolah menjadi berbagai produk pangan yang bernilai ekonomi seperti aneka camilan seperti tortila chips. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu penyuluhan tentang introduksi alat pengering dan pengolahan produk olahan jagung serta praktek pembuatan olahan jagung yaitu tortilla chips. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu memberdayakan masyarakat melalui peningkatan pengetahuan pasca panen dan kemampuan dalam pengolahan aneka produk jagung. Kegiatan ini diharapkan berkokontribusi dalam peningkatan pendapatan bagi keluarga dapat melalui unit-unit usaha rumah tangga yang mampu memproduksi produk olahan jagung untuk meningkatkan ekonomi petani jagung. During this time, corn farmers have not processed corn as a variety of processed products that provide added value economically. Utilization of corn is expected to increase not only as raw material, but can be processed into various food products of economic value such as various snacks such as tortilla chips. The results of this community service activity are counseling about the introduction of dryers and processing of processed corn products and the practice of making corn preparations, namely tortilla chips. This activity is expected to be able to empower the community through increased post-harvest knowledge and ability in processing various corn products. The main issues in this service are related to sales and attractiveness and understanding related to product promotion. As well as the basis for using online applications, e-Commerce implementation requires a fundamental paradigm shift, from the original marketplace that emphasizes physical interaction between sellers and buyers into a market space that relies on electronic transactions. In a traditional marketplace, information, product / service, and payment traffic is physical (location based). In other words, the applicable business model is the geographic business model. Conversely, in a virtual marketplace, product information flow, communication processes between producers and consumers, distribution of goods / services and transactions take place in a virtual / virtual world. The purpose of this service is to improve the production process and the process of selling and utilizing resources in activities and choosing the right marketing channels as well as in the use of media so that the Jasmine 2 group in Batjoja Hamlet is one of the business actors that produce local processed products in Siberut District South. These service methods are outreach, activity assistance, attractive product packaging, online marketing management and activity evaluation. The result of this dedication is that the effort is socialized in this service through social media such as IG, and BUKALAPAK https://www.bukalapak.com/u/craftsinukerupuksagu. Brands and packaging have been designed in such a way and are expected to be increasingly recognized, the Service Team has also provided debriefing to partners in the form of "Smart Packaging" through training and outreach on suitable and appropriate packaging in attracting prospective customers, "standing poch" packaging with seals, which is more flexible and attractive in various sizes. The packaging is ready to be affixed to a complete brand sticker with the label. And many orders have arrived, especially from outside the Mentawai Islands district. Conclusion Melati 2 Group in running a business has the potential to produce value and money.
