This article is motivated by the increasing of covid-19's cases in Indonesia in general and the concern to society of Manggarai who are not wearing masks when they are outside the home, especially in public places such as markets, terminals, and shopping areas. The distribution of the masks for free also depends on the limitations of masks in the markets, and if there is still some stock, they are cost higher than normal prices. The distribution of those masks for free is done to build public awareness to overcome covid-19. This activity was on May 7, 2020 at Puni traditional market of Ruteng. The target of this activity were all people living around Puni Ruteng. The method used is the distribution of masks for free to all levels of the society, while hand sanitizer only distributed to the driver of public transportations which often did direct contact with the passengers every day. In addition to that, the team of PKM gives some explanation about how to wash hands by using hand sanitizer for health, how to wear a mask and the duration of time wearing masks. In this activity, each person has received 2 pieces of masks given by PKM's team so they can be replaced every day. The result of this activity can increase people's awareness of the importance of maintaining health, and tackling the spread of covid-19 in the district of Manggarai in general

BACKGROUND The 2019 coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has led to increase in global awareness of related public health preventive measures. The public awareness can be reflected by online searching trends of major search engines, namely Google Trends. OBJECTIVE This study aims to interpret online searches of COVID-19 related public health preventive measures and to identify possible correlations between early search trends and progression of the pandemic. METHODS Search data from five queries “Mask”, “Hand Washing”, “Social Distancing”, “Hand Sanitizer”, and “Disinfectant” were extracted from Google Trends (GT) in the form of Relative Search Volumes (RSV). Global incidence data of COVID-19 was obtained from January 1st to June 30th 2020. Subsequently, the data were analyzed and illustrated in forms of a global temporal RSV trend diagram, a geographical RSV distribution chart, scatter graphs comparing regional RSV with average daily cases; and heat-maps comparing temporal trend of RSV with average daily cases. RESULTS Global temporal trend revealed multiple surges in RSV, which were temporally associated with certain COVID news events. Geographical distribution showed differences of query interests among regions. Although scatter graphs failed to illustrate strong correlations between regional RSV and average daily cases, the heat-maps were able to demonstrate patterns of early RSV peaks in countries with lower average daily cases, for queries “Mask”, “Hand Sanitizer”, and “Disinfectant”, upon incorporating with the temporal element into analysis. CONCLUSIONS Early public awareness of multiple preventive measures was observed in countries with lower daily average cases. Public health authorities may look into early public awareness as an effective measure for future disease control.

WHO China Country Office reported pneumonia cases in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The virus was lately identified as a new strain of corona virus called Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2. The new cases grow massively and became pandemic. Regarding this rapid transmission, there is a need for socialization to strengthen people’s awareness and role in mitigation and adaptation against this  COVID-19 pandemic. The method used was counseling with socialization or lectures and supported interactions in the form of questions and answers by using power points and leaflets/brochures as information media. This community engagement included the activities of the Movement for Healthy Living Society (GERMAS), Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), Use of Personal Protective Equipment such as using masks, Use of Antiseptics and Disinfectants, and Planting Family Medicines (TOGA). The implementation of this activity began with socialization to the local community at the village hall, then to the houses of residents to deliver the subject contained in the brochure/leaflet, and last by placing pamphlets in public places to provide information to the community related to the activities that had been done. This socialization is expected to increase public awareness to face against this corona virus disease outbreak.

Abstract: In this paper a Raspberry Pi based automated solution system focused on the real-time face monitoring of people to detect both face masks and body temperature with the help of MLX90614 sensor has been proposed. This is implemented using Python Programming with OpenCV Library, TensorFlow, Dlib Module. A security clearance system is deployed that will allow that person to enter if they are wearing a face mask and their body temperature is in check with WHO guidelines. A programmed hand sanitizer apportioning machine is mechanized, non-contact, liquor-based hand sanitizer gadget. Liquor is essentially a dissolvable, and furthermore a generally excellent sanitizer when contrasted with fluid cleanser or strong cleanser, likewise it needn't bother with water to wash off since it is unpredictable furthermore, disintegrates in a split second after application to hands. It is too demonstrated that a convergence of >70% liquor can execute Covid in hands. Here, we have used IR sensor detects the hand put close to it, the Arduino Uno is utilized as a microcontroller, which detects the distance and the outcome isthe pump starts running out the hand sanitizer. Thus, the above said system will help the society by saving time and also helps in contaminating the spread of coronavirus. This can be implemented in public places such as colleges, schools, offices, shopping malls, etc. to inspect people. Hand hygiene is of utmost importance as it may be contaminated easily from direct contact with airborne microorganism droplets from coughs and sneezes. Particularly in situations like pandemic outbreak, it is crucial to interrupt the transmission chain of the virus by the practice of proper hand sanitization. It can be achieved with contact isolation and strict infection control tool like maintaining good hand hygiene in hospital settings and in public. The success of the hand sanitization solely depends on the use of effective hand disinfecting agents formulated in various types and forms such as antimicrobial soaps, water-based or alcohol-based hand sanitizer, with the latter being widely used in hospital settings. To date, most of the effective hand sanitizer products are alcohol-based formulations containing 62%–95% of alcohol as it can denature the proteins of microbes and the ability to inactivate viruses. This systematic review correlated with the data available in Pubmed, and it will investigate the range of available hand sanitizers and their effectiveness as well as the formulation aspects, adverse effects, and recommendations to enhance the formulation efficiency and safety. Further, this article highlights the efficacy of alcohol-based hand sanitizer against the coronavirus.

While railways are considered as a sign of development for countries, the railway structures are part of the industrial heritage of cities and comprise some of the most important urban public places. In Turkey, the Eskişehir railway buildings, constructed between 1886 and 1894, are at the west of the main railroad between the Enveriye and Eskişehir stations. They are also public places having strong resonance in the collective memory. Because of the fast development in technology, they face the threat of losing their function. Conservation of former industrial structures requires, first and foremost, identifying and documenting the distinctive features that makes them cultural heritage sites. It is a shared responsibility between public institutions and sectors to identify and protect the distinguishing features of industrial heritage sites. With this awareness, at the Anadolu University Architecture Department, integrated student work focused on the Railroad Roundhouse—built in 1896—and Staff Housing Quarters—built in the early 20th century—which are part of this district and embody a series of urban problems, was carried out over four academic semesters. This study focuses on historic railway buildings in the Eskişehir railway district that is known for its urban problems. An exhibition combining these student works was opened at the Railcar Repair Facility on 16 November 2017. This exhibition showcased the student involvement in history of Eskişehir and increased public awareness of cultural heritage.

In early 2020, the world was shocked by the outbreak of new pneumonia that started in Wuhan, Hubei Province which then spread rapidly to more than 190 countries and territories. This outbreak is named coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) which is caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). People are not aware that their hands are often contaminated with bacteria and viruses during their activities. One of the simplest ways and can be done to prevent this is to wash your hands using soap or antiseptic, hand sanitizer. Washing your hands can reduce the number of bacteria by up to 58%. The advantages of hand sanitizers can kill germs in a relatively fast time. The active ingredients of hand sanitizers are generally alcohol group compounds with a concentration of ± 60% to 80% and the phenol group (triclosan) so that they have a mechanism of action by denaturing and coagulating cell protein germs. Therefore, making hand sanitizers in simple stages can be done alone in community service activities. This service aims to find out how high public awareness is in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak in everyday life. Evaluation of the service activities that will be carried out is to see how many people are aware of the importance of protecting themselves and the environment and maintaining distance in order to break the chain of spreading the virus.

WHO determined COVID-19 as a pandemic on March 9, 2020, which is the strongest push for this community service program to be carried out. WHO has published guidance on adjusting the MFIs while managing the risk of a spike in case numbers. WHO publishes guidance on adapting to LKMS, while still managing the risk of a re-increase in the number of cases. A series of measures was developed to help provide guidance to countries in adapting public health measures to various contexts and this provides consideration for decision makers. In connection with the policy of controlling infectious disease outbreaks, Indonesia has Law Number 4 of 1984 concerning Communicable Disease Outbreaks, Government Regulation Number 40 of 1991 concerning Management of Contagious Disease Outbreaks, and Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 1501 / Menkes / Per / X / 2010 concerning Certain Types of Infectious Diseases That Can Cause Outbreaks and Countermeasures. Including various policies to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic issued by the government. One of them is the Large-Scale Social Restrictions or PSBB at the end of March. Citing Article 1 paragraph 11 of Law (UU) Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine, PSBB is a limitation of certain activities of residents in an area suspected of being infected with a disease and / or contamination in such a way as to prevent the possibility of spreading disease or contamination. The policy covers at least school and work vacations, restrictions on religious activities and restrictions on activities in public places or facilities, including the socialization of washing hands using hand sanitizer which can be done in certain situations where soap and clean water are not available. For the results to be effective, the hand sanitizer used should contain at least 60% alcohol. This step is a necessity in order to prevent Covid-19 from becoming more widespread. The goal to be achieved from the socialization of good and correct hand washing is to understand the procedures, and be able to practice how to wash hands properly and correctly. It is hoped that in this socialization there will be a change in behavior in the community in washing hands as often as possible properly and correctly.
