This study examined the nature and amount of feedback that more successful and less successful high school varsity volleyball coaches gave to their starting and nonstarting volleyball players. Two of the four coaches studied were considered more successful and two were considered less successful, based on previous regular season win-loss percentages. Players of all the coaches (N=41) were also used as subjects and identified as having either a starting or nonstarting role on the team. All subjects were observed on three occasions for 30 minutes per observation during regular season practice. The Cole Descriptive Analysis System (Cole-DAS) was used to observe coach augmented feedback as it was given to individual players in response to skilled performance. A 2 × 2 multivariate analysis of variance was used to describe the effects of (a) success of the coach, (b) role of the player, and (c) both success of the coach and role of the player on the dependent variables of coach augmented feedback. Results indicated that successful coaches varied considerably from less successful coaches in the types of feedback given to their players. Starting players were also found to receive significantly more audio, audiovisual, and immediate terminal feedback than nonstarting players.

The management of writing a scientific papers we already know has important chapters in the writing. And have a way of choosing in a variety of methods. There are problems in this study, namely the absence of the use of research methods in scientific-rich management. Then one of them is needed by multivariate data analysis management to become one of the methods in writing scientific papers. Multivariate data is data collected from two or more observations by measuring these observations with several characteristics. There are 2 (two) methods in multivariate data, namely dependency and interdependence methods. Dependency analysis functions to explain or predict dependent variables by using two or more independent variables. Focused on the dependency method there are 9 (nine) classifications. It is expected that the multivariate data analysis management can help writers to use scientific research methods well and be able to analyze the influence of several variables on other variables at the same time

Research on the role of the APIP review of the Ministry/agency Work Plan and Budget document to determine the impact on the efficiency of ministry/agency spending (case study at the Ministry of Religion). The method used in this study uses simple linear regression with dummy. The use of linear regression is used to examine the relationship between independent variables (certain types of expenditure) and dependent variables (total expenditure). Whereas, dummy is used to find out before and after the APIP review is done. Throughout the author's search, this research has never been done. Based on the results of linear regression obtained, the APIP review significantly had a positive effect on official travel expenditure and honorarium but did not significantly affect building spending and equipment.

The objective of this study is to identify the factors that determine the competitiveness of garment industry in Ethiopia. To achieve this, Porter's diamond model of national competitiveness was detected as a model to assess the competitiveness of the garment industry in Ethiopia. Based on conceptual framework, the study's six hypotheses were developed and tested. Six independent variables considered are: factor conditions; demand conditions; related and supporting industries; industry's strategy, structure and rivalry; role of government; and chance factors and dependent variable is competiveness. Primary data are collected by self-administered structured questionnaire from owners/general managers of industry. Totally 37 out of the targeted 38 respondents duly filled and returned the questionnaires for analysis giving response rate of 97.36 per cent. The results were presented in forms of mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation, ANOVA and regression analysis. This study finds that the composite the five independent variables accounted for 73 per cent variance for the competitiveness of garment industry in Ethiopia. The independent variables show the positive effect on predicting the dependent variable (except the demand conditions). Two factors --factor conditions and chance factors --were found to be statically significant determinants for the competitiveness of the garment industry in Ethiopia.
