The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of augmented reality and simulation on the achievement of mathematics and visual thinking among students. The study sample consisted of 86 students of mathematics divided into two treatments in a random way. This study utilized the quasi experimental type of methodology. The independent variables were the instruction (augmented reality & simulation). The dependent variables were the students’ achievement and visual thinking. The findings of this study showed that students using the augmented reality mode performed significantly better than those in the simulation mode in achievements and visual thinking.

The purpose of this study was to investigate effectiveness of the different pattern of the digital story in the development linguistic intelligence skills and Mindfulness in Jordanian primary students during the Corona pandemic. Quasi experimental factorial design was adopted in this research. The researcher designed two patterns of the digital story in the Arabic language course. The study sample consisted of 43 students and were randomly (simple random sample) selected. The study sample was divided into two groups. The first group consisted of 23 students who studied through a written digital story, as for the second group, it consisted of 20 students who studied through the digital audiovisual story. The dependent variables were the linguistic intelligence skills and Mindfulness. The researcher used two scales. The first is to measure linguistic intelligence skills, and the second is to measure mindfulness. Data were collected and appropriate statistical analysis performed. ANCOVA was used to determine the significant differences among the two groups. Analyses of covariance (ANCOVA) were performed to examine the main effects of the independent variables on the dependent variables. The findings of this study showed that students using the digital audiovisual story mode performed significantly better than those students using the written digital story in the linguistic intelligence skills, and mindfulness.

Abstract Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) show an enhanced response to stressors, and gender plays an important role in stress response. Thus, autistic traits (ATs) in the general population and gender may regulate the emotion changes before and during the outbreak of COVID-19. The present study addressed this issue through a participants between quasi-experimental design, in which the epidemic status (before, during), gender (male, female), and AT groups (high ATs, low ATs) were independent variables, and positive and negative emotions were dependent variables. We used generalized linear models to estimate the effects of the independent variables and their interactions on emotions. The results showed that the COVID-19 outbreak reduced positive emotions and increased fear and anger. Furthermore, compared with before the COVID-19 outbreak, individuals with high ATs and females experienced stronger anger and fear than individuals with low ATs and males during the epidemic. The present study revealed the emotional impacts of COVID-19 and greater emotional susceptibility to COVID-19 pandemic among individuals with high ATs and females. Our findings provide prospective evidence for understanding the ASD/ATs-related enhanced response to pathogen threat-related stressors and have implications for COVID-19 crisis interventions.

According to Basic Health Research 2013 states that the age group less than 12 years ie age 5-9 years 28.9% suffered dental caries. The aim of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of animated movies and non- animated movies in improving children’s knowledge and behavior concerning dental health. This study was designed based on quasi experimental design. The samples of this study were the students of Class 3A and Class 3B SDN 03 Kepanjen consisting of 63 students. The independent variables of this study were animated movie and non-animated movie concerning dental health while the dependent variables were children’s knowledge and behavior. The collected data were analyzed using Mann Whitney test. The findings of this study show that the respondents are aged between 8 and 10 years old. There is difference in terms of knowledge before and after the students received intervention through animated movie and non-animated movie. Animated movie seems to be more effective in improving the respondents’ knowledge to maintain dental health than non-animated movie as indicated by the average score for animated movie intervention is higher than non-animated movie intervention.

This paper used multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) method to investigate whether changes in the independent variables such as gender, age, family location etc, have significant effects on the dependent variables. Date was collected from students in Hebei University of Technology, by using Chinese College Student Mental Health Scale (CCSMHS). Result shows that interaction from four factors such as interactions among gender, only-child, major and family location have significant influence on anxiety. Different family locations also affect some dimensions. Mental health of students grow in large cities is significantly better than those from small and medium-sized cities, small towns and rural.

The aims of this study were: (1) to identify an increase in students' understanding of the value of mutual cooperation through the use of reader response rules in Indonesian Language Learning (KRPDPBI); (2) identifying the use of the reader response principle in Indonesian Language learning (KRPDPBI) there are differences between male and female students. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental study with two different methods. The results showed that (1) the achievement of the score of understanding the value of mutual cooperation for students taught by KRPDPBI was better than for students taught by regular learning according to the curriculum; (2) the achievement of the understanding of the value of male students' mutual cooperation is no better than that of female students.

This study aims to examine the influence of visual thinking learning to problemsolving skill. Quasi experiments with the design of this non-equivalent controlgroup involved Grade V students in one of the Elementary Schools. The design ofthis study was quasi experimental nonequivalent control group, the researchbullet used the existing class. The results of research are: 1) improvement ofproblem soving skill. The learning did not differ significantly between studentswho received conventional learning. 2) there is no interaction between learning(visual thinking and traditional) with students' mathematical skill (upper, middleand lower) on the improvement of skill. 3) there is a difference in the skill oflanguage learning that is being constructed with visual learning of thought interms of student skill (top, middle and bottom).

This Study aimed at investigating the effect of cooperative learning model type CIRC on short story writing ability class x student of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. In addition to that, aquantitative method with a quasi experimental design. Based on research finding conclusions short story writing skill of student with cooperative learning model type CIRC is better than studentthat being taught by conventional method at X class SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh.

This study entitled "Analysis of Effect of Climate Organization and Competence Againt Employee PT. Hutama Karya ". The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the relationship between the free variable that organizational climate (X1) and competence (X2) with the dependent variable is employee performance (Y), either partially or simultaneously, This study used survey research methods with the correlational approach and predictive, which aims for the relationship and influence between independent and dependent variables. The sampling technique can be done randomly (simple random sampling) of 852 employees, which is considered to resprentatif is 89 people. And to solve problems, to analyze and examine the relationship and influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable used models kausalistik through regression analysis with SPSS 14.0

This research is a quasi-experimental study that aims to determine the comparison of students' mathematical communication abilities with the cooperative learning model of the NHT and PPT media in class VII SMP Negeri 02 Ngabang. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP 02 Ngabang consisting of 3 classes. The sample in this study was taken by using the Random Sampling Cluster technique. Class VII A as class I experimental class with 24 students and class VII B as a experimental class II with 24 students. The instruments used were pretest and posttest in the form of description. Data analysis uses the t test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed the average posttest for the NHT class was 72.5 and the average posttest for the PP class was 66.666. From the posttest hypothesis test results obtained t hitung> t tabel (1.9522> 1,667). Because t_hitung> t_tabel, H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. This means that students' mathematical communication skills taught with the NHT are better than using Power point media.
