Today's developments require dayah to continue to exist, giving generations of morals. This research is a qualitative research with a social history approach. The findings concluded that basically the community's anxiety due to the dominance of materialism which makes the soul arid, has provided opportunities for people to look for institutions. The modernization that has been carried out is still based on the original tradition, which is based on dayah with a modern twist so that the dayah is MUDI. The modernization of the dayah education system during the Abon Abdul Aziz era included modernizing the curriculum, facilities and infrastructure and modernizing learning methods. The purpose of this change is so that the dayah will continue to exist in this era of globalization so that the vision of giving birth to scholars is still running. The dayah education system managed by Abon Abdul Aziz remains in control to shape the morals of thalabah so that the knowledge obtained in the dayah is still used in terms of goodness. Through the touch of moral education to the talabah who studied in the dayah, most of the istiqamah studied until they got permission from Abon Abdul Aziz to practice their knowledge in the community.

Weaving handicrafts became the motor Minangkabau's economy at the beginning of the 20th. It encouraged the establishment of weaving centers, such as Amai Setia (1911) and Andeh Setia (1912). Amai Setia handicrafts' are still standing strong nowadays, while Andeh Setia is thus no longer known by the people of Sulit Air today. This paper uses the social history approach and exposes the history of the emergence and fall of Andeh Setia as an economic movement in Sulit Air. The establishment of Andeh Setia is inseparable from the role of ninik mamak and women in Sulit Air. Andeh Setia's success was ultimately drowned due to the loss of driving figures, the reduction in women's interest in weaving crafts, and the overflow of merantau. This finding also suggests that the economic independence of the people in Sulit Air, depends heavily on the role of perantau. This situation is thus an obstacle to the realization of economic independence.

As we know, Nidhamiyah madrasas have played an important role in the history of Islamic civilization to sustain the pace of development of Islamic education. This article aims to describe the history of the establishment of the Nidhamiyah madrasah as an educational institution and the chaotic establishment of this madrasa because it has rubbed off against political-ideological elements. This type of research is a qualitative research. In accordance with the object of the study of this article, this type of research is included in the category of library research. The result in this article is that the Nidhomiyah madrasa was founded in 447 H / 1055 M under the leadership of Tughril Bek from the Snowq dynasty. However, the main figure in the establishment of this madrasa was its vizier named Nizam al-Mulk. As an educational institution, of course this madrasah is the same as other madrasas in terms of management, educators, students, and learning methods. However, in terms of curriculum, this madrasah is a bit different because it contains Ashariyah theology material which is the main objective to defend the Sunni ideology of the Shia-Mu'tazilah ideology. After all, apart from having a role as an educational institution, this Nidhamiyah madrasah cannot be separated from the realm of the politics-ideology that underlies its birth.

The Principles of Islam requirehuman to maintain and improve their moral values BuT in fact, many Moslems face problems of moral deteriora tion, crisis of beliefs, and moral decadence that happenin all aspects of life. This moral deterioration is often associated by the experts of education with the failure of educat ion. The failure of education relates to the education system that has various components that affect each other. The elements needed in the education system are the goal of education , educators, students, tool s, and natural surroundings. The results of this study indicate that the essence of spiritual learning obligations according to Syaikh 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilaniy is araising the total of truth towards Allah SWT's path. The aims of the learning areto implement knowledge and clean the heart (tazkiyyah al-nafs) from worldly characters and the lust of dirtiness to ma'rifatullah. Spiritual educators are those who practice the law of Allah, clean the heart and guide students to the safety of life in the Hereafter . Learners constantly face Allah and obey Him, do not meet the call besides Allah, listen to the call of Allah and implement everything stated in the Qur ·an and the Prophet tradition. Teaching method used is the method of mau'izhah, sima', ahwal , and muhasabah fial-nafs (introspection). Educational materials are based on the basics of spiritual education in the Qur'an, the Prothet tradition. and the opinion of Muslim religious leaders who have noble characters and integrate science. Moral education is the core of Islamic education. The implications of the spiritual educational thought of Syaikh 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilaniy toward the reality of Islamic education in Indonesia is the emphasis of moral education that leads to a balance relationship between the exoteric and esoteric aspects of the learning process.
